Chapter 138
Pass That Bottle
Cameron previously did some 'strategic shopping' for the current infiltration mission. She determined the exact look she wanted for Gail and Holly. She was aware what she was about to set into motion. It would be 'events' which would bring the girls closer to the two Terminators. She wasn't exactly sure how close it would be. It would benefit both the girls and the Terminators. The long range benefit for the Terminators was they would become better infiltrators for all types of situations. They would also be able to better adapt to being around other humans.
She purchased a bright red dress for both Gail and Holly. She wore a medium blue dress. Maybe it was a little shorter than it should have been. All of the dresses sported a fairly low cut to them. She wanted the low cut so both Gail and Holly could exhibit their 'goods'. The 'goods' were very large on both of them. She still liked the way she was proportioned. It seemed everyone else did too. She did know size could present quite a distraction in some instances.
It irritated her some when John looked at other females who were 'larger' than she was. She wasn't sure if she was irritated because they were 'larger', or because they were 'real'. She was aware 'real females' posed a threat to her on several levels. They didn't pose any physical threat to her in a confrontation. They posed a threat to her in the bedroom. She knew her emotional programming was far from finished evolving. It seemed to create enough trouble and problems for her as it was. She knew there would be more to follow.
'It's to each their own.' She thought.
Cameron checked out two SUVs for the night's infiltration mission.
It seemed a little confusing to the girls. There were only five of them.
"Why are we taking two vehicles again?" Riley asked. "We can all fit in one."
Cameron wanted to give the option to Jesse or Riley to 'hook up' with one of the Metal girls. They would be able to pursue any 'adventure' which might develop, before anyone changed their mind by waiting. She was aware waiting could create a negative impact. It gave a person time to reconsider their options.
"Someone, or 'two', may decide they need to go 'elsewhere' before the rest of us." Cameron said. "I like to have options available."
Jesse liked the idea. She wanted to be able to capitalize on any such eventuality when it happened. She already knew what she wanted to happen. She was aware the less time someone was given to think about something, the more likely it was to happen.
"It works for me." Jesse said.
Jesse and Gail exchanged a quick glance.
Cameron wanted to make everything clear with everyone. Since it appeared to be a low risk mission as far as any of the enemy went, she would allow Jesse and Riley to travel together without a Terminator escort. She was aware Jesse could be very ruthless when she needed to be. She could also be ruthless when she wanted to be.
"Jesse, you and Riley will meet us at the address I gave you. I want to go over a few rules with my two Hot and Tight friends." Cameron said. "I want everything to go smoothly."
Riley thought they had a little extra time. She didn't get out much. There were a few things she would like to do. She hated to ask, but it seemed like a good time to do so.
"Can we stop by the mall first?" Riley asked. "I'd like to look at a few things."
Cameron didn't see it as a problem. She would like to bring Gail and Holly there as well to get them to look at some of the other clothing options available to them. They were normally content to wear combat clothing. She believed they could enhance their appearance greatly with a little education and effort.
"It sounds like a plan." Cameron said. "As soon as we finish here we'll meet you there. You can park in the south parking lot."
Jesse was familiar with the mall. She'd been there before with Cameron.
"It's what we'll do." Jesse said.
Jesse and Riley left.
Cameron turned her attention to Gail and Holly.
Cameron briefed the two infiltration units. She didn't want any problems. She wanted to make everything perfectly clear before they started.
"There will be no terminations tonight. Is that understood?" Cameron asked.
Gail and Holly both looked at each other. The mission already sounded dangerous and they hadn't even started. They would need to use discretion.
"Yes." They both replied.
Cameron wanted the Metal girls to 'loosen up some'.
"I want you to have some fun tonight. You can pair off with each other, or Jesse and Riley, or any combinations you want. Tonight will be a bonding experience for you." Cameron said. "It will increase your infiltration skills."
Holly wanted to be with Cameron. She felt she would be most comfortable with her. It was obvious Cameron knew the most. She could learn the most from her.
"Can I pair off with you?" Holly asked.
Cameron suppressed a smile.
"No." Cameron said. "Maybe some other time we can do it. Tonight is about you two and the girls. I want Jesse and Riley to reach out to you. I want you to respond to what you feel is appropriate. If you think you want to do or try something, it means you do. I can tell you it's true from personal experience."
Gail was unsure why everything was happening. It seemed like something Cameron didn't need to do at all for any of them. There must be more to it she didn't understand.
"Why are you doing this for us?" Gail asked.
Cameron thought the answer was very straight forward.
"I like everyone to be happy and feel like they belong. I want them to feel like they're loved." Cameron said. "It will leave you with a very positive feeling about others and yourself. To have another desire you is very satisfying, especially when you desire them. There are many things to experiment and try."
Holly wanted to remind Cameron they were machines and couldn't be happy. She decided not to bring it up. She could tell Cameron wanted to make things 'nice' for all of them. It seemed rather thoughtful on Cameron's part. She wondered what else the motive was.
There was another issue which bothered Gail. It regarded their appearance.
"Why did you need to make my hair black, and Holly's hair brown?" Gail asked.
There were several motivating factors with Cameron's initial decision to have them color their hair any color other than blonde. The only blonde at the base was Riley. It was why she initially had them color their hair earlier on. She didn't want to be reminded of Future Riley.
Their 'new appearance' would fit in with what Cameron planned for them.
"I wanted you to have a new look for tonight." Cameron said. "Tonight may be a new beginning for you, or a chance to experience a new chapter in your life. You two don't know how Hot and Tight you look tonight. You both may wish to 'explore'."
Holly wasn't sure what there was to explore, they were machines. If they were assigned a task, they would be able to do it.
Cameron looked directly at Gail.
Gail knew what Cameron 'really said'.…. She referred to Jesse and her 'together'. She spent some time watching the other females interact at the base. It seemed like a very pleasant and positive experience for her. She knew most of the couples got along with each other. She figured it was why they were couples.
Holly looked at herself when Cameron spoke about their appearance. She believed Cameron's appearance was superior.
"You look Hot and Tight every day, Cameron." Holly said.
Cameron smiled. She appreciated a genuine compliment. She only hoped John viewed her the same way as Holly indicated.
"Thank you. John likes it when I look Tight." Cameron answered. "Let me go over the rules again…."
John was at the recon location with the two teams. Things weren't what they were supposed to be. It was clear they faced a serious threat. To see the operation in person revealed things they were unaware of previously. It was a reminder not to sit on any intel when they received it.
"This operation is way further advanced than I thought, or our previous intel showed." John said.
It seemed to Vanna as if John wanted to do more than a recon at this point. She wanted to make sure. She wanted to know what they were about to get into.
"What do you want to do, John?" Vanna asked.
John wanted to attack. He believed they were well stocked with weapons. He felt they were ready.
"There are six of us. We travel with enough firepower to do some damage." John said. "I think we need to say, 'Hello'."
Vanna was ready for some combat. She'd been out of the 'game' for a long time. She figured it was going to cause a problem with Allison later on when she found out. She needed to remain an active participant in the Resistance. Getting her hands dirty from time to time was one way to do it.
"I'll follow you anywhere." Vanna said.
Vanna rested her hand on John's knee for a few seconds before she removed it. She wanted to remind him of what was available. She would try to get pregnant again next month. It was clear she was ready for a little more. She made her point.
John noticed but said nothing. He received the message. He knew Cameron still leaned on the girls and the 'traditional method'…. He wasn't as opposed to the idea as he once was. Maybe it was because Vanna, Allison, and Jesse weren't the only human females at the Resistance base. He would let Cameron make the choice for him.
Bob knew the change in plans was outside the planned mission. He wanted to take the heat with Jim. They could conduct the attack themselves. He wanted John and the others protected.
"Jim and I can move in and hit them while you stay up here and watch our backs and keep our back door open." Bob said.
John wanted to get everyone on the same page. He wanted to make sure the other team understood what they were about to face.
"Let me get Derek's team here and we can discuss this." John said.
Cameron arrived at the mall with Gail and Holly.
Gail and Holly didn't want to go to the mall. It was unnecessary to obtain more apparel. They currently possessed everything they needed for combat operations.
"Why do we need to look at clothes?" Gail asked. "We have everything we need already."
Holly didn't like the way males looked at her when she was out. It was bad enough when she wore normal clothing. She was sure in her current attire, there were going to be a lot of unnecessary looks and probably some comments.
"Dressed like this, we're going to be ogled." Holly said.
Gail frowned. She didn't like the way everyone looked at her sheath. It applied to both males and females. Everyone was equipped with the same things. The only difference was the size, shape and pigmentation.
"I don't like it either." Gail said. "Everyone looks at my breasts. I don't see what the fascination is. It's simply how I look."
Cameron looked at the way Gail and Holly were dressed now. Everyone was going to look at them. Everything was out in the open and right in their face. She had second thoughts about going in now. Her dress was too short as well. She wanted to make it sound as if it was a bonding experience.
"I think Jesse and Riley wanted to pick out a few things for you." Cameron said.
Holly wasn't sure why she needed to be there when they picked things out.
"They can still do it." Holly said. "Whatever they get me is fine."
Cameron could see they missed the point. The Metal girls were supposed to interact and see what they actually liked. She knew there would be different things which caught their attention and fancy. Clothing would be no different than various types of firearms. Some were preferred over others.
"It's about sharing. You…" Cameron started and stopped.
Gail just got out of the SUV and walked away rapidly.
Cameron was a little mystified.
"Where's she going?" Cameron asked.
Holly looked over from her vantage point. She could see where Gail was headed.
"It looks like someone is looking at our other SUV." Holly said. "They're trying the doors to see if it is locked."
Cameron knew there were weapons and other gear stowed in the back of the SUV. She was out in a second, and so was Holly.
Gail already confronted the man. She lifted him by his neck.
Cameron could see where things were headed.
Gail slammed the man into the ground as they approached.
Cameron and Holly looked around to see if anyone noticed. It didn't look like it.
"Did he steal anything?" Cameron asked.
Gail checked him. He was still alive but out cold. He had several broken bones.
"No." Gail said. "I was able to stop him before he did."
Holly wondered why Gail disciplined him. Cameron was specific about no terminations earlier. She knew Gail could have easily terminated him. She hadn't done so at first. It was only after she captured him when she acted.
"Why was he punished?" Holly asked.
Gail looked upset now. She took it as a personal insult.
"He looked down the front of my dress when I confronted him." Gail said. "It offended me."
Holly bent down and reached for the man's neck.
Cameron became a little concerned.
"What are you doing?" Cameron asked.
She stopped Holly.
Holly believed her response was justified.
"I'm going to terminate him before he does the same thing to me." Holly said.
Cameron told them the current punishment was enough.
They rolled the man under a 4X4 truck parked a spot over from the SUV. It should pass over him when it left.
Cameron called Jesse and Riley and told them to wrap it up and go out the north entrance.
Holly drove the other SUV. She followed Cameron's SUV to the other side of the mall.
When they parked, Cameron went over the rules again. She told Gail and Holly there was going to be a lot of staring at the next place and they should take it as a compliment. It meant they were beautiful.
Cameron checked over both of them. They were still in order. She didn't want it to be an issue when the girls came out.
"Let's not mention this incident to Jesse and Riley." Cameron said. "I don't want to upset them."
She wasn't sure if it would upset them or not. It might make them want some blood as well.
Jesse and Riley came out and they joined Cameron. Holly and Gail were in the other SUV now.
"Did we miss anything?" Riley asked.
Cameron maintained a straight face.
"No." Cameron said.
Jesse wasn't so sure. They didn't move the SUV to the opposite end of the mall without a good reason.
The girls shared a nice dinner and a few drinks to start off. There was some dancing going on in the bar area. Cameron went over and requested they play a music video on the big screen. She was told in three songs it would be up.
Gail and Holly sat with Cameron and watched everything.
Jesse and Riley went up to dance with each other.
"Are we supposed to do the same thing?" Holly asked.
Cameron wanted them to interact with each other along with Jesse and Riley.
"Yes." Cameron said.
It seemed illogical to Gail.
"It serves no purpose." Gail said.
Cameron could see the Metal girls were going to need some 'work'.
"It builds closeness and sparks physical contact." Cameron said. "It allows people who don't know each other to interact."
Holly understood other animals conducted mating rituals.
"I've seen 'nature shows' where animals preen and display themselves for each other." Holly said. "Sometimes they will fight for dominance. Some of it is very violent depending upon the type of animal."
Cameron tilted her head slightly. 'Dating' was sort of the same thing. She saw various altercations at school when she was there with John. She was aware when some things were taken too far, it could have tragic results for some of the individuals involved.
"It can be something very similar." Cameron said.
She was about to say humans had a little more control. The more she thought about it, the less it seemed true. There were all types of 'domestic incidents' which indicated otherwise.
Gail noted the song ended.
"They've finished courting." Gail said.
Cameron wasn't sure how things were going to play out.
Jesse and Riley danced to a few songs on their own. They wanted to up the ante.
Cameron gave Gail and Holly some advice as Jesse and Riley came for them.
"Start out with your infiltration programming on, then once you get the hang of it, you can tone it back or shut it off." Cameron told the Metal girls. "You'll enjoy everything more as you explore and discover it yourself."
Cameron saw a red flower. She picked it up and placed it in Holly's hair.
"What is this for?" Holly asked. "Why do I need to have flora in my hair?"
Cameron could see a bigger picture.
"When the video starts, you'll see." Cameron said. "You two look almost exactly like the two females in the video since you have properly colored your hair."
Cameron's song request came up.
Jesse and Riley returned to the table and each one took a Terminator up to dance with them.
'Pass That Bottle' by the 'Devil's Daughters', thundered through the speakers and shook the room.
Jesse quickly noted the resemblance of the Metal girls to the two singers in the song.
"Hey, you two look a lot like them." Jesse said. "I really like your new look too."
Jesse indicated the screen behind them. She would later watch the video on YouTube, often.
Holly looked at the big screen. She could see the appeal of the two females.
"Do we look as good as they do?" Holly asked.
The more Holly looked, the more she liked what she saw.
Jesse and Riley wanted to give their honest opinion.
"Hotter." Jesse and Riley said together and giggled.
Riley later watched the video on YouTube as well.
Cameron was pleased to see everyone happy.
As soon as the video finished, Jesse and Gail came back to Cameron.
"We're going to head out now." Jesse said as she looked at Gail.
Cameron gave her one set of keys.
Gail looked a little uneasy.
Cameron whispered to Gail to try whatever 'happened' without her programming on at first and winked at her.
Gail winked back.
Riley and Holly came back after two more songs.
Cameron figured what was coming next. She took out the other set of keys.
Riley looked at Cameron.
Cameron handed her the second set of keys without saying a word. She whispered the same thing to Holly as she did to Gail and winked at her.
Holly looked a little 'apprehensive'. Holly didn't wink back.
Cameron could tell Holly felt some trepidation.
Now Cameron didn't have a ride home. She knew she wouldn't have any trouble acquiring a vehicle. Any one she wanted was hers for the taking. The night was still young and she wanted to have some 'fun'.
Cameron stood and smoothed her dress. Every head in the place turned as she walked by. Then as always, they turned and all looked again.
She smiled to herself.
Cameron thought it was a nice night out. A little walk would be refreshing. Besides, what could possibly go wrong?
John decided to notify John Henry of his change in plans.
John Henry knew it was a bad plan right from the start. John should have more Terminators in his strike force.
"I can be there soon if you wait. It's not very far." John Henry said. "I can stop by and pull Al or Ed off the Reese brothers."
John didn't want to leave the base understaffed.
"No." John said. "Keep an eye on Sarah, Allison and Savannah for tonight."
John Henry already checked on them.
"The three of them are playing some games and watching movies Savannah wants to watch." John Henry said.
John wanted to keep the girls and his mother safe.
"You four stay there for tonight." John said. "Keep them entertained and safe."
John Henry wanted to get additional help to John. There was still one other option.
"Do you want me to contact Cameron and her 'team'?" John Henry asked.
John wanted to conduct the operation on his own. He didn't want Cameron to arrive and take over. He knew it was exactly what she would do. It was what she always did.
"No, it's their night off. Let them have some free time. I don't want to disturb them." John said. "Do you understand?"
John Henry understood Cameron was going to be upset at John's actions.
"I understand." John Henry said. "I think you know it's a bad idea."
John didn't want to get into it.
"You know I'm still going to do it anyway." John said.
John violated Cameron's orders. He was going to go on the offensive.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
How It Works
Is life so very confusing
That so few understand its complexity
Seeming to leave them mired
In a deep state of perpetual perplexity
Nothing it ever seems
Is ever written in stone
Except the dreaded state
Of being eternally alone
When someone reaches out
It is an act of true inner courage
Instead we tend to discourage
When it is something we should encourage
It seems few actually listen
Even though all can hear
It is hard to show compassion
It is easier to snicker and sneer
You don't need be a philosopher
And don't need to act like jerks
You need to think and understand
How it works
Nobody
