Chapter 141

CPR

Jim went over all the information John Henry gave him. He agreed to rendezvous with John's team at the location on the north side.

"I'll go there immediately." Jim said. "I'll see you soon."

John heard the com transmission.

"We're headed there too." John said.

Bob and Derek said they were ready to go.

John wanted to set the charges.

"Let's blow this dump and move out." John said.

Derek didn't want to 'close any doors' until they knew a little more. Some of the team was still unaccounted for.

"Do you want to wait until we find them before the fireworks go off?" Derek asked. "We don't know where they are for sure, or why we can't communicate with them."

John knew it could end badly for them. It could end badly for all of them. He wanted to cover all the bases.

"We'll set a timer for the blast then, in case we don't make it." John said. "We'll still take this place down."

Derek wanted to make his position clear. He wasn't about to leave anyone behind.

"I'm going to find them." Derek said. "We aren't leaving without them."

Derek was very worried about Kyle and Vanna.

John wanted to make sure. Bob was more durable than they were.

"We will." John said. "Bob, no matter what happens, find them and make sure this place is dust."

Bob wouldn't fail at his mission.

"Affirmative…." Bob said.

John and Derek looked at each other and smiled. It never got old.

The seriousness of the situation was still foremost in their minds. They didn't know where Kyle and Vanna were. They didn't know where the rest of the enemy was at. They didn't know if they were in a trap or not. They really didn't know much of anything. It wasn't a pleasant thought going forward.

Jesse was extremely pleased with Gail. She was able to show her everything for the first time. It made it all exciting. The way things were reciprocated was even better than she could do with all of her years of experience. She could only imagine how Gail's experience would grow as time passed. There was a lot to teach Gail. She was going to teach it all to her.

Gail did everything to Jesse the same way she showed her. It seemed to affect Jesse much more than it did her. Maybe it was because Jesse told her not to stop once she was 'there'. It pleased her greatly she was able to make Jesse feel so good. Everything Jesse taught her felt very good to her.

Jesse lay unmoving on the bed.

Gail became concerned. She checked AGAIN to see if she was still alive. Her heart was still beating anyway. She never saw a human heart beat so fast.

Jesse looked in Gail's direction with glassy eyes. She never experienced vision loss before. She heard stories about it. She thought they were just stories. It was clear there was truth behind all of those sayings. She was pretty sure she experienced every one of them.

"…I have… never been… so… satisfied… Gail…." Jesse gasped out slowly.

Jesse never felt this way before. She could see why John was so attached to Cameron. After an experience like this, it would be hard to settle for anything which wasn't a Terminator. The intensity of pleasure was almost beyond comprehension.

Gail was very pleased at what she learned so far. She was completely unaware she would be able to experience 'pleasure'. She believed the construction of the female body was superb. She was very pleased she possessed female attributes. The more she did with Jesse, the more she wanted. No, not wanted, the more she needed.

"You've given me new 'sensations'." Gail said. "I find them very pleasurable. I want to have more."

Gail took Jesse further than she'd ever gone before. Her physical responses were extreme. She wanted to make Gail understand how far her level of pleasure went. There was a lifetime of experience behind her.

"I wasn't sure if I was going to go blind, or die, a couple of times." Jesse said. "You've taken me further than I ever dreamed of, or even thought was possible. I've been around the block a few times, quite a few."

Gail thought she was done with the preliminary learning. It was time to go 'full Terminator' on Jesse. She was holding back on her full capabilities. She did as Cameron suggested previously. She blocked all of her files related to the subject of sex.

"Do you want me to turn my programming on now?" Gail asked.

Jesse needed to think about what Gail just said. She couldn't believe it. She felt stunned. Was 'THIS' was just the start…? How could there be anything more intense than what she'd experienced so far? Was it really possible? She couldn't even imagine how anything could be more intense. If there was more, she wanted it. It didn't matter what the cost would be to her. If she was going to die, she wanted to go out in style. She actually couldn't think of a better way to die. She needed to make sure.

"Do you mean there's more?" Jesse gasped. "You can do more than what you already have?"

Gail tilted her head slightly. There were multiple files available to her now.

"I've only just started." Gail said. "I'm fully functional and programmed in many techniques. It includes a wide variety of pleasuring, most of it is sexual."

Jesse's mouth fell open slightly with the new revelation. It almost sounded too good to be true. She was sure it was her lucky day.

A new fire burnt in Gail's eyes as she approached Jesse. Now she was 'hungry for more'.

Jesse felt a new surge of excitement. She wanted it all. She wanted it now. She grabbed Gail and pulled her closer. There was only one thing she wanted to know before they got started.

"Do you know CPR?" Jesse asked in a whisper.

Gail tilted her head slightly.

"Yes." Gail said.

Jesse saw this as her chance to try a few things she heard about.

"I think I may need it." Jesse said. "If I 'go out', leave me 'out' for a minute or two before you bring me back. I've wanted to try it as well."

Jesse wondered what it was like to be 'dead'. She wanted to see if there was anything on the 'other side'.

Gail was totally captivated by Jesse. She would do anything she wanted.

"I'll do whatever you say." Gail said. "Are you ready to learn some new things?"

Jesse thought she knew 'everything' by this point in her life. Now it looked as if there was more to learn. She was more than willing to find out. She'd just gone from teacher to student. She planned to be the best pupil in the class.

"TEACH me 'more'…." Jesse begged.

Jesse figured she was in for a time like no other. She knew if she died, this was the way to do it.

Gail moved in to 'take' Jesse.

"Are you ready?" Gail asked.

Jesse looked at Gail and swallowed hard. She wondered if she would make it or not. She quickly realized it didn't matter. She was ready either way.

"What a way to go." Jesse said. "TAKE ME…."

Cameron was aware Kyle and Vanna were both missing. It upset and angered her. She knew she needed to protect John and find Vanna. She must get Vanna back for John. It was the 'Natural Order'. She only knew she must protect Allison and Vanna for John, for John's future. She was highly agitated. Her left hand began to glitch. She needed to worry about the rest of the team too. She was concerned about Kyle as well as Vanna. She also needed to worry about Derek and John.

If John would have allowed her to go along, things would be different. He specifically told her not to go on the mission with him. She was always hesitant to follow such extreme instructions. She possessed much more experience than John did on the battlefield. She believed she was a better infiltrator than any of them. It was more than frustrating to her.

She was going to have a talk with these people, ALL of them. She wanted them to start listening to her. She knew what needed to be done, when, and by whom. Why was it so hard to follow her instructions and guidance?

Cameron traveled at a high rate of speed. She was a little concerned about the way the car was all over the road. She knew what the problem was. She removed her left hand from the steering wheel. The glitch it developed now affected the control of her driving.

She pushed the appropriated car to its limits. She didn't know the mechanical condition of the car. She didn't want to exceed its capabilities. She might arrive at the location a little slower than she wanted. If she needed to acquire another vehicle, it was going to cost her more time than staying within the current vehicle's design limits.

Her eyes were lit with an eerie faint red glow.

Cameron was furious.

None of the current events needed to happen the way they were, if people would just listen to her. How hard was it to follow instructions?

Riley and Holly walked in and out of the gently surging water.

Holly relaxed a little.

Riley could feel it. She believed it was a much better atmosphere for the two of them.

Holly noted every change in Riley as they walked and talked, hand in hand. She scanned Riley continuously. Monitoring Riley's changing sensations was 'stimulating' to her. She wondered what Riley felt as she noted the changes. She found the experience 'gratifying'. She experienced a desire for 'more'.

Riley wondered what Holly really felt. It seemed like the best thing to do was to ask her.

"What do you 'feel', Holly?" Riley asked.

Holly tilted her head slightly. The answer seemed rather easy for her.

"I feel the sand under my feet. I feel the water lapping at my ankles. The air temperature is…." Holly started.

Riley stopped and looked at Holly. Their faces were inches from each other in the cool darkness of the night air.

It wasn't what Riley wanted to hear. She didn't need to hear statistical facts. It wasn't what her question implied.

"No, what do you feel about me?" Riley interrupted.

Holly tilted her head slightly in the other direction.

"I feel you holding my hand as we walk. I feel its warmth…."

Riley wanted a little more.

"And?" Riley prompted.

Holly felt very confused at this point. She felt a lot of different things and she wasn't sure about any of them.

"I feel… different. I feel apprehensive… I feel unsure… I feel confused… I feel I want 'more'…." Holly said. "I don't know what I feel. I don't know what to feel. I don't know what to do."

Riley moved closer to Holly. She wanted just a little bit more. She wanted to help Holly with some things so she could see 'other' things.

"Look around you. You can see the waves as they crash upon themselves. You can see the moon. You can see the stars. See everything. See me…." Riley said. "FEEL me."

Holly looked around. Her gaze finished on Riley.

"You're beautiful, Riley." Holly said. "You make me feel 'different' inside…."

Riley moved her face even closer to Holly's face.

"You're beautiful too, Holly…." Riley said.

Riley was unsure. She needed to do something 'RIGHT now'. She needed to make a move, even if it was the wrong move.

Holly stared into Riley's face.

Riley kissed Holly.

Holly didn't respond.

Riley kissed her again.

Holly still didn't respond. She wasn't sure what she wanted. She felt very confused.

"Riley, I don't know if I'm ready for 'this'…." Holly said. "It's outside the scope of my normal operating parameters."

Riley felt she may have gone too far too fast. It was worth a try anyway. It was time to back peddle some.

"We can wait. I want to spend more time with you." Riley said. "I'm sorry if I pushed too hard."

Now Riley was worried she pushed Holly too far too soon. She couldn't help it. Her time with Cameron made her want 'MORE'. The truth was, Holly wasn't Cameron. They were two completely different individuals, even if they were of similar construction.

Holly wondered if turning off her programming like Cameron recommended was the right move.

She stopped scanning Riley because the scans were no longer pleasant. They were now 'fearful'.

Holly knew she 'hurt' Riley by accident. She was just too unsure of herself and how to proceed. She didn't want to close the door all the way.

"I would like to do more. I want to spend more time with you. I want to know YOU better as a person. It excites me to be with you." Holly said. "I feel things I've never felt before."

It was true. Holly now possessed a series of ever changing scans from Riley. She would review them over and over. She would try to analyze what happened. She would need to see when the various feelings occurred, and what they were doing when they did so.

Riley felt the whole 'mess' was her fault. She tried to recreate something which happened with someone else. Every person was different, even if they were both machines. She pushed too hard, too soon. She didn't want to give anyone the same feeling she had about being 'used' by someone else.

"We can take it slow, I like it better anyway." Riley said. "It will make it even more special. I didn't mean to push you so hard. I'm sorry…."

Holly didn't feel Riley pushed too hard. It was more about she wasn't yet ready for 'THIS'. Her feelings were already focused on another…. The current experience only seemed to make her want the other person more now since she got a 'taste'.

John went to lead the team from the building once the charges were planted. Bob stopped him and moved in front of him. Derek took up the rear position.

Bob wanted John to use more caution, especially under the current conditions. He didn't want any flak or negative feedback from John.

"We don't know what we're facing here." Bob said. "This is no longer a recon mission. This is an assault of some type. You know the rules."

John didn't want to make an issue about it. Bob was right. What they currently faced was a violation of what Cameron made him promise. He knew it was going to be a problem with Cameron now. She only agreed not to accompany him if it was only a recon. He'd turned it into an attack. Now Vanna and Kyle were unaccounted for. Their exact whereabouts was unknown.

Derek was very concerned about Vanna and his brother. The unknown in a combat situation was very trying. He kept his eye open for every threat, or even a potential threat.

"We have movement at six o'clock." Derek said. "We have a tail."

Bob quickly led them off to the side and dropped back to engage the target. He wanted to be able to surprise whoever was behind them.

John was now on point. It was time for a different tactic. They were going to hold and eliminate whoever attempted to 'bird dog' them.

The team was behind some machinery now. They tried to make it look like they turned the corner. They didn't want to give their pursuer a heads up. They didn't want them to know they moved into position to set up an ambush.

Derek watched the flanks. John watched what was in front of them. They didn't want to get surrounded or pinned down. They understood they were the targets in an unfamiliar environment.

Bob spotted the targets. They were moving stealthily. He thought it was a good spot by Derek. Since it looked like they turned the corner, their 'shadow' moved more out in the open. The Grays didn't want to lose visual contact of their easy 'kill'.

There were two Grays. Bob noted they were both armed with an AK-47. He thought it was a poor choice for a weapon. There was little to no accuracy with one of those weapons. It was good for putting out rounds, but not much else. Those rounds could still kill, maim, injure, and damage. He believed it was a weapon for amateurs. No serious soldier would carry one if a better weapon was available.

Bob waited to take them down. He wanted to see if there were more, or anyone trying to flank them. He only spotted the tail of two Grays.

Derek checked their flanks one more time. He moved back next to Bob. There was a personal score he wanted to settle. He didn't like turncoats, traitors, or sellouts.

"Let me 'pop' them." Derek said. "I really dislike Grays."

Bob covered the two men while Derek took aim.

The Grays slowed as they approached the corner the Resistance team went around and set up the ambush.

Derek sighted and fired twice. Both Grays went down.

Bob was pleased with Derek's marksmanship.

"Nice shooting." Bob said. "They were both head shots."

Derek was pleased with his aim as well.

"Thanks." Derek said. "Let's move out."

John wanted to stay on point.

Bob moved in front of him again. Bob didn't want there to be any tension. The current rules of engagement were very specific from Cameron in regards to John.

"I'm sorry, John." Bob said. "I need to do this. I know you understand, even if you disagree."

John was a little irritated. He had more freedom to operate on his own when he was in the alternate future. Then again, Mrs. Weaver backed him up whenever she was around. It was most of the time. He was never sure where she was some of the other times. She backed him in the end. It was all that really mattered.

Bob spotted Jim where they agreed to meet. Their team moved to intercept him.

John's team rendezvoused with Jim at the last reported location of Derek and Vanna.

Their current location didn't yield much.

"There's nothing here." John said as he looked around.

Bob zoomed in with his vision. He was able to detect something on the ground.

"I see footprints." Bob said.

Jim followed them as well. They only went so far.

"Yes they go here, and stop." Jim said.

Bob was a little concerned at what else he detected. Kyle and Vanna weren't the only ones recently in the same location.

"There are four sets of footprints. One is a Terminator." Bob said.

Bob and Jim looked around.

It seemed there was some type of hidden opening. It was the only explanation. They needed to find it.

Bob reached down and touched something.

A large flat 'rock' slid to the side….

It was a concealed opening.

Jesse stopped moving. It appeared her breathing stopped.

Gail was about to start chest compressions.

Jesse was very content where she was at.

"No, love, THIS is how I want to die." Jesse gasped "Again…."

Gail smiled and moved towards Jesse.

"I can do 'this' until my power cell runs out…." Gail said.

Jesse didn't know how much more she could take. It didn't matter. She wanted more.

"Heaven, here I come - again…." Jesse gasped.

'Shake, Rattle And Roll' by 'Bill Haley', filled the room.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Burning Flame

I know the feel of love
I know the feel of fire
I know you can be burnt
When you touch the fire

I feel its rising heat
I must risk the pain
I want to share who I am
Or surely I will go insane

I see the burning flame
Higher and hotter it burns
Which is stronger the mind or the heart
Oh how the heart yearns

I reach my hand lovingly
Into the burning flame
I feel the searing pain
This is freedom from shame

Burn me to death
If you must
I will not retreat
For in you I trust

Nobody
