Scott and Hope walk inside, Hank is waiting. Hank says Janet convinced him to let her go on missions with him. He says that she was called the Wasp. He says that she was born to it and no day goes by where he doesn't regret saying yes.

"Is he about to tell you how she-" Gamora trailed off. Hope nodded.

He says that it was 1987 and a Soviet missile silo in Kursk had been hijacked by separatists and they launched an ICBM at the United States and the only way to the internal mechanism was through solid titanium.

"Oh..."

Flashback. Hank is on the bomb, Janet lands next to him.

Hank says he knew he had to shrink between molecules to disarm the missile but his regulator was damaged. He says that Janet didn't hesitate.

Janet shrinks between the molecules. The bomb falls.

Everyone looked saddened, hearing Hank's story.

Hank says that Janet turned off her regulator and she went subatomic and deactivated the bomb. He tells hope that Janet died as a hero and he spent the next 10 years learning everything he could about the quantum realm.

"You wanted to bring her back." Peggy said.

Hope says that he was trying to bring Janet back.

Hank says that all he learned was that they know nothing.

"I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you more about the quantum realm." Scott said.

Hope says that it's not his fault and says that Janet made her choice. She asks Hank why he didn't tell ser sooner.

Hank says that he was trying to protect her. He says he lost Janet but he didn't mean to lose Hope too. Hope starts crying.

Everyone looked around awkwardly, once again feeling like they were intruding on an extremely private moment.

Scott says that this is awesome that they're breaking down walls in healing. He says it's important.

"Way to ruin a moment." Clint said.

Hank and Hope look at him. Scott asks if he ruined the moment.

Hank says he did.

Scott says he's going to make some tea.

"Tea is good." Bruce said.

Scott successfully dives through the keyhole. He says he nailed it.

"Hell yeah!"

He's giving Ant-thony some water. He calls Ant-thony a good boy.

"It sounds like you talking to a dog." Quill said.

Hank shrinks a device.

Scott is putting devices onto some ants.

Scott is running with ants underground.

"Nice."

Scott is on a plane. Hank says that the final phase of his training is a stealth incursion.

Scott says he's freezing and asks Hank if he couldn't make a suit with flannel lining.

"Really?" Everyone asked.

Hank says that they need to retrieve a prototype of a signal decoy. He says it's a device he invented during his SHIELD days.

Hope says that they need it to counteract the transmission blockers Cross installed in the Futures vault.

Hank says that it is currently collecting dust in one of Howard's old research facilities in upstate New York.

"About that..." Vision started.

Hank says it should be a piece of cake.

"It wasn't." Scott said.

Hank tells him that he's over the area and says to disengage.

Scott sends out some ants and tells Ant-thony not to drop him. Scott jumps out and says that this feels like a big leap from sugar cubes.

"Because it is." Hope said.

Scott says that they might have a problem and asks Hank if he remembers saying that this was an old warehouse. The avengers compound is shown. Scott says it isn't an old warehouse and calls Hank a son of a bitch.

"Oh, shit."

Hope tells Scott to get out of there.

Hank tells Scott to abort.

Scott says that it's okay and says that it doesn't look like anyone's there. He tells Ant-thony to get him to the roof.

Hank says Scott is going to lose the suit.

Hope says Scott is going to lose his life.

"We- we wouldn't just kill him." Steve said.

Scott lands on the roof. He says he's on the roof of the target building.

Hope tells Scott that someone's home.

"U-oh."

Sam lands on the roof.

"Oh, I'm home." Sam said.

A man, over comms, asks Sam what's going on.

Scott recognizes Sam as the Falcon.

Sam says he has a sensor trio but he isn't seeing anything. He tells the man to wait a second.

Hank tells Scott to abort the mission.

Scott says it's okay because Sam can't see him.

"Yes he can." Sam said.

"Did you just refer to yourself in 3rd person?" Bucky asked.

Sam tells Scott that he can see him.

Scott says San can see him. He grows to normal size and introduces himself.

"Did you just-?" Natasha asked.

Hope asks if Scott just said 'hi, I'm Scott?"

"He did."

Sam asks Scott what he's doing there.

Scott tells Sam that he's a big fan.

"Thank you." Sam said.

Sam says he appreciates it and asks Scott who he is.

Scot says he's Ant-Man.

Sam is confused. Scott asks Sam is he hasn't hears of him then says that he wouldn't have heard of him.

Hank and Hope both sighed.

Sam asks Scott if he can tell him what he wants.

Scott tells him that he was hoping to borrow a piece of technology for a few days then return it.

Everyone laughed.

"I mean... at least he asked permission." Clint said, laughing.

He says he needs it to save the world and tells Sam that he knows how that is.

Sam says he knows exactly how that is. He tells the man over comms that he's located the breach and he's bringing him in. Scott shrinks down and punches Sam in the face.

"Oh!"

Sam flies up, Scott starts running. Hank asks Scott what he's doing.

"Fighting an Avenger." Scott said.

Sam says that the breach is an adult male who has shrinking tech and he lands, then tries to step on Scott.

"I know I am as small as an insect, but I am not one. Please don't step on me." Scott joked.

Scott hits Sam in the face, Sam starts shooting. Scott apologizes.

Everyone giggled a bit at that.

"Punches someone in the face 5 times. Apologizes but continues to punch them in the face." Peter said, laughing.

Scott jumps at him, Sam punches him in the face, Scott grows back to normal size.

Everyone cringed.

They start fighting, Sam picks him up and starts flying. Scott shrinks, Sam lands. Scott grows back to normal size, wraps his legs around Sam's neck and takes him down.

"Hmm. Nice." Hope said.

Sam punches Scott's leg. Sam uses his wings to hit Scott on the head.

"Ooh!"

Scott shrinks again and calls Ant-thony for help. Scott jumps on Ant-thony and flies into the warehouse. Sam walks into the warehouse.

Hank says he's lost visual. Suddenly, Sam flies through the door.

A few people flinched at the sudden noise.

Sam says Scott is inside of his pack.

Scott unplugs some things and apologizes and sas Sam seems like a great guy.

Sam sighed.

Sam crashes into the ground, then stands up. Scott flies off with Ant-thony. Sam says that it's very important to him that Steve never finds out about this.

Everyone laughed.

"You just got your ass kicked." Bucky said.

Hank, Hope and Scott are in the kitchen. Hank tells Scott that that was completely irresponsible and dangerous. He says that he jeopardized everything.

"You sound like a parent scolding a child." Clint said.

Scott takes the device out of his pocket and puts it on the table. Hank and Hope look at him. Scott raises his eyebrows.

"Ta-da!" Everyone said.

Hank picks it up. Hope says he got it.

Hank tells him well done.

Scott asks if Hank just complimented him.

Hope says it sounded like he did.

Hank rolled his eyes.

Hank turns the device on and says he was good.

Scott asks if they can talk about that fact that he fought an Avenger and didn't die.

"An impressive feat." Natasha said.

"But it'll-it'll never happen again." Sam said.

Hank says not to dwell on the past because they need to finish their planning.

Hope tells Scott not to mind Hank and says he did good.

"Thank you, Hope." Scott said.

Hank walks into a different room, Cross is there waiting for him.

"Oh no."

Hank says Cross' name loud enough to alert Hope and Scott.

"Smart." Fury said.

Hank asks Cross how he got inside.

Cross tells Hank that he left the door open and says that he's officially old.

Hope realizes that the plans are in there and says that Cross will kill Hank.

"Shit."

Hank asks to what he owes the pleasure.

Cross says he has good news.

Hank asks what the news is.

Cross says that Pym Tech is about to become one of the most profitable operations in the world. He says that they're anticipating 15 billion in sales tomorrow alone.

A few people whistled at the number.

Scott gets a group of ants to roll up the plans.

Everyone sighed in relief.

"Good thinking." Natasha said.

Cross says he knows it's odd but he'd like Hank to be there. He says that this is his moment and he'd like Hank to see it.

Hank says he'll be there.

Cross looks at a picture of Hope, then walks up to Hank and asks what he saw in him.

A few people tensed.

Hank says he doesn't know what he means.

Cross says that Hank picked him all those years ago and asks what he saw.

Hank says he saw himself.

A few people looked a mix between surprised and confused, not expecting that answer.

Cross asks why Hank pushed him away.

Hank says he saw too much of himself. Cross leaves.

"That makes sense." May said.

Scott, Hank and Hope are in the kitchen. Hope says that Cross knows and he's baiting Hank. She says that they have to call it off.

Hank says that they're all taking risks.

"That's true." Maria said.

Hope asks what if Cross saw her there.

Hank says that he didn't and there's no way he could've.

Hope asks how he knows that. Hope gets a phone call from Cross.

"Uh-oh."

She answers the phone. Cross asks her where she is.

"He knows." Clint said.

Hope says she's at home and asks why he wants to know.

Cross says that he just saw Hank and he still gets nothing but contempt from him.

"I wonder why." Hank said, sarcastically.

Hope tells Cross not to let Hank rile him up because he's just a senile old man.

"Oof."

Cross says that they need to start working around the clock and get the assembly line up and running. He says he's tripling security. He says that there will be full sensors at all entrances and the vents will be filled with steel micro mesh.

"A little over the top." Sam said.

Hope says that's a good idea.

Cross thanks her and says he's lucky to have her on his team. He ends the call.

"Is he guilt-tripping you?" Peggy asked.

Hope tells Hank that Cross is tripling security. She says he's lost his mind and he's onto him.

"His mind was already lost." Bucky said.

Hank says that Cross isn't onto Hope.

"He kind of was." Hope said.

Hope says Cross is adding full body scanners to all entrances including the vents. She asks how they're supposed to get Scott inside.

Scott says he'll go through the water main and says that security can't be added to a water main because the pressure is too strong. He says that he can get in if they decrease the pressure.

"Good idea." Bruce said.

Hope says that someone would need to reach the building's control center to change the pressure and she and Hank will be beside Cross. She asks how they're supposed to do that.

"More people."

Scott says they can expand their team. He says that they'll need a fake security guard inside to depressurize the system, someone to hack into the power supply and kill the laser grid and a getaway guy.

"Luis, Kurt and Dave?" Quill asked.

Hank realizes who he's talking about and says no, then calls the 3 of them wombats.

Everyone laughed at that.

"He called them wombats." Peter said, chuckling.

Hope sets some coffee on the table. Luis thanks her for the coffee and says that it's not everyday that they rob a place and get welcomed back.

"No, I can't imagine it is." Steve said.

Luis says that they just robbed them.

Hope tells Scott that Luis was arrested for stealing a smoothie machine.

"Wait, really?" Rhodey asked.

Luis says it was 2 smoothie machines.

"I guess I can understand one, but why did he feel the need to steal two of them?" Clint asked.

Hope asks Scott if he's sure they can handle this.

Luis says they can handle it because they're professionals.

"Says the man who freaked out about Scott standing on his shoulder." Hope said.

Hank says to forgive them if they aren't instilled with confidence.

Dave tells them to relax and says that they know their business. He says that they broke into Hank's spooky ass house. .

"Because I let you." Hank said.

Hank says he let them.

Dave says that one could says that he let Hank let him.

"What?"

Scott says they can handle it.

Luis agrees. Scott asks if they have their credentials.

Hope says Luis is in the system.

Luis asks if he's in the system.

Dave says he's in the system.

"Oh boy." Everyone sighed.

Hank says they're doomed.

Everyone made noises of agreement.

"Yeah." Fury agreed.

Scott tells them that there's something they should see.

"Are you going to show them the suit?" Thor asked.

"Yeah..." Scott sighed, remembering what happened when he did that.

They're looking at blueprints. Hank tells them to get around the corner and there will be offices on the left.

Scott walks in, wearing the suit. Luis says that that is so cool.

"I agree."

Scott says that it'll get weird and says that it's freaky but its safe and there's no reason to get scared.

Luis says that he doesn't get scared and calls himself daddy.

"Are you sure about that?" Scott asked.

He shrinks down. Kurt says that it's the work of gypsies.

"Really?"

Dave says it's witchcraft.

Luis says that its like some David Copperfield shit.

Dave says it's some kind of wizardry.

"Scott Lang: Student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Tony said.

Kurt says it's sorcery.

Luis asks Scott how he did that.

"Science." Hank said.

Scott is standing on Luis' shoulder. He tells Luis to look at his shoulder and not freak out.

"He's gonna freak out isn't he?" Natasha asked.

"Of course he is." Hope said.

Luis screams and swats his shoulder, then runs away. Scott says he thought Luis didn;t get scared, and calls him daddy.

"Turns out he does." Sam said.

Dave, Kurt and Luis are all asleep. Scott and Hope walk in. Hope says she gave them each a half a Xanax and Hank explained the science of the suit and they fell asleep.

Everyone chuckled a little.

Scott goes to thank her. Hope tells him not to. She says that they're doing this for reasons bigger than themselves and she's glad that Scott might have a light chance at maybe pulling it off.

"Again, thanks for the vote of confidence." Scott said.

Scott thanks her for the pep talk.

"You're welcome." Hope said.

Hope says that she actually went from despising him to almost liking him.

"I'm told I have that effect on people." Scott said.

Scott tells her that she should write poetry.

Hope tells him to get some sleep then she leaves.

A few people smiled at that. They sensed a budding friendship.

Later, Scott is lying in bed awake. He gets up.

Cassie is in bed, sleeping. Scott is in her room, he kisses her forehead.

"That was actually very sweet." Hope said.

Everyone is standing, going over the plan. Scott asks if everyone knows their roll and asks Dave for his.

Dave says he's the wheels on the ground.

"That is typically where wheels go." Rhodey said.

He asks Kurt for his.

Kurt says that he's the eyes in the sky.

He asks Luis for his.

Luis says he gets to wear a uniform. Scott gets him back on track. Luis apologizes and says that he gets excited.

"We can tell."

Luis says that Hope is really hot and it makes him nervous. He turns to Hope and tells her that she is beautiful.

"I'm flattered." Hope said.

Luis says that he was thinking of a tactic for when he's undercover. He says that he should whistle to blend in.

"That's how you stick out." Natasha said. "Not how you blend in."

Scott tells him no and says that it's not the Andy Griffith show.

"Good. Shut that terrible idea down before it happens." Maria said.

Security guards are stationed around the outside and inside of the building.

"He wasn't kidding when he said he was tripling security." Bucky said.

Luis is being scanned. Luis grabs his gun and his badge. Luis nods at the guard.

"He looks so pleased." Clint said, referring to Luis.

Kurt gets into the van and says that they're set.

Scott says to wish him luck. He gets out of the van and shrinks through a grate.

"Good luck." Everyone said.

Luis is walking through the building, whistling the tune of 'its a small world.'

"Of course he's whistling." Scott sighed.

He swipes his card and enters a room. A guard asks him what he's doing.

Luis says that the boss told him to secure the area so he's doing it.

The guard says that he's the boss.

"Uh-oh."

Luis knocks him out.

"Oh!" Everyone exclaimed.

"He really packs a punch." Steve said.

"Well he did say he was the only one to knock out that big guy, Peachy." Natasha said.

Luis turns a wheel. The water pressure starts dropping, Kurt announces that. Scott is in the pipes, riding an ant raft.

"I'm not going to lie. That looks fun." Shuri said.

Kurt says he's coming up on the extraction pipe.

Scott says he sees it.

Ants start lifting him up. He grabs onto more ants, he gets through the pipe.

"Nice."

He exits through the sink faucet and gets onto Ant-thony. They fly through a vent.

Kurt says that Ant-Man is in the building.

"Hell yeah!"

Dave says HAnk is pulling up on time. He looks around and says that there's a Crown Vic outside.

Kurt asks if it's a problem.

Dave says Crown Vic's are commonly used by undercover cops and says it is a problem.

"That's not good." Rocket said.

Paxton and Gale spot Hank. They get out of the car.

Scott says he's deploying the bullet ants and struggles to call them by their official name, before saying that he can't remember it.

"Paraponera clavata." Hope said.

Scott says he feels bad for that guy. The ants land on a man's shoulder. Luis walks up next to him. The ants start biting. Luis punches the man.

Everyone laughed a bit.

Luis says says that that's what he's talking about sand says that that's what they call an unfortunate casualty in a serious operation. Catching himself when Hope walks by.

"Nice save." Sam said.

Hope puts the signal decoy in place. Luis drags the man into the room. Kurt says the decoy is in place and says that Hope did good and calls her mean pretty lady.

"Mean pretty lady?" Hope asked.

Paxton and Gale walk up to Pym. Dave says it looks like Hank is getting arrested.

"Not good."

Kurt tells Scott that they have a problem.

Scott asks what the problem is.

Dave exits the van. Kurt says that that isn't part of the plan.

"What is he doing?" Pepper asked.

Paxton and Gale are questioning Hank. Hank says the people will die if he doesn't get into the building.

Gale says that that is dramatic.

"Not dramatic if it's true." Hope said.

Dave steals Paxton and Gale's car. They start running after Dave. Kurt says the problem is solved.

Everyone laughed.

Hope leaves the room and finds Cross. Cross asks her how he looks.

Hank grabs his things. Hope and Cross walk up to him. Cross says he's just in time.

"Here we go..."

They walk through the building. Cross steps up to a scanner. A computer asks for 12 point verification.

Hank asks if Cross thinks it's a little over the top.

Cross says that they can never be too safe.

"Well... that is true, but there's a fine line between safety and paranoia." Natasha said.

The doors open, they walk in. Hank says he has to hand it to Cross because he really did it.

Cross says Hank only knows the half of it.
