Aftermath from the previous chapter, and how the others are handling from what went down. Mostly the Silva Hounds, and now they wanna try and find some way to chill out, and perhaps someone might help them find that calming time, and it's they're new friend in town, and the rest of the town will hear word of what happened. "Aftermath, Anger and Alternatives."
(June 23. The Silva Hound House.)
The day after what had gone down, and we see Lincoln, Loona and Luna inside the house and not looking pleased after what had gone down, and then they watch what is on the TV, and what they see is what had gone down the other day. But how did they get that footage?"
Well, apparently Katherine Mulligan was trying out her new drone, and she spotted the fight and recorded everything and the whole thing seemed very intense, and she made sure that everyone saw this news, let it be on TV or on social media and it is the talk of the dang town, an ranges to the neighboring towns and cities.
"The news of what had gone down the other day is still going, but we didn't get any further proof or word on who this person is, but whoever he is literally gave the Silva Hounds a fight for their life, and whatever he possesses seems to be something out of their league, and yet he fled and only yelled that this was all a draw, but if you ask this news reporter, it sounds like a sigh of cowardice, and fear of losing."
"We didn't get the chance to know more, because the one woman who witnessed the whole thing there, is none other than newcomer member of the town, Amanda Bright, who also works for the Royal Woods Gazette and chances word of what happened will be read from there. So, will this stranger return for another rematch? Only time will tell."
Lincoln sighs and then he leans next to his mom. "Katherine is not wrong, because if that dumb fuck comes back, then he's getting his ass torn apart, by all of us!" He then calms down and then Loona pulls him close.
"Calm down, I know we wanna tear him apart after what went down when we first fought him, but what happened the other day is a very fucking personal piece of shit. I want him dead, and you want him dead, and all of us can agree, that who gives a two piece of shit on what he stands for. He's gonna fucking suffer for what he did, to all of us."
Luna sighs, and then she sees a text message from Sam, that she is coming back home soon to see how the others are doing after what had happened when the news on social media announced what went down with the fight, and she recalls that Lincoln had a text message from Jordan, and she is also concerned about what had happened.
Now everyone around the town is still talking about what went down and there doesn't seem to be any stopping on the rumors of the cloaked man with magic and that he was powerful enough to fight all members of the Silva Hounds, and even Blitzo and Velvet, and now everyone wonders when that man will return and if there will be another brutal and epic clash.
Just then, the doorbell rings and then Verosika gets it. "Allow me guys." she opens it and sees who it is. "Oh, the journalist. Come on in." She then steps aside, and then the others see who it is.
"Amanda Bright?"
The woman nods. "Hey guys, got something you can all enjoy." She then places down the boxes of pizza onto the table. "These are the special pizzas from Pizza Hut. Also, word of what happened is still ongoing, and the Royal Woods Gazette is going to be revealing the news on the magazine about that fight, and the person you guys fought, the guardian right?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, the dumb fucking turd asshole fucker. I wanna tear his dick off and feed it back to him, and watch him choke." Lincoln and Loona grumble and then they grab two slices of pepperoni and bacon pizza, and they are not amused with what had happened the other day.
Amanda can see just how pissed off the Silva Hounds are, and then Verosika then sits with them and enjoys the pizza as well. "So, what brings you here, Ms. Bright?"
Amanda then speaks. "Okay, so I am aware that all of you are ticked off and hate that guardian from what had happened and calming down is not an easy thing. So, perhaps I can help you guys find some peace of mind."
Loona then asks. "And what might that be?" she then eats another slice.
Amanda then speaks. "A camping trip, to the place where I went to when I was a kid. Camp Mastodon, and perhaps that could help you guys calm down, find some peace and be your usual selves again, but we can go there after the race at Great Lakes City. So, what do you guys think?"
The trio then think about this, and then the hellhound speaks. "Well, that sounds good. Perhaps we should try that and it wouldn't be right if we didn't invite the others. We're gonna have to tell the others though, and you're gonna be there to talk with them."
Amanda Bright nods, and then she asks Verosika Mayday. "And what about you?"
The succubus smirks. "Oh, fucking hell yeah."
(Great Lakes City Raceway.)
Right now, the racecar with Kurt Logann inside is moving at great speed, and he is breaking his record every single time he does another lap, and the pit crew are impressed by what had gone down with the engine of the car, and everything seems to be working at full capacity.
But they are mostly amazed that after ten laps, his racecar didn't need a pit stop, and when he needed a pit stop at the end of 30 more laps, his engine was still fine and he just needed gas and a tire change, and this impresses them and his crew chief about what kind of engine modification is this.
Watching this as well, is the woman who is the manager Janette Wilder, and the girl whom Kurt has a love interest in, Leni M. Morningstar, and she is amazed at how fast Kurt is going and she is also joined by her mother, Charlotte "Charlie" Magne Morningstar, and she is amazed by this as well.
Then Leni speaks to Kurt using the walkie talkie. "Kurt, are you doing alright there?"
"This. Is. One. Awesome. Ride! Wooohooo!" They watch his car race by them, and he retains his speed and keeps breaking his lap record, and the crew and the crew chief cheer and are amazed at how great he is doing.
Leni chuckles. "Wow, even when he is moving so fast, Kurt knows how to keep his ride from crashing. But, I recall he did crash back then." She looks towards Janette.
Janette sighs. "Yes it is true, long ago which is why I decided to help him find a new pit crew and crew chief, and then I found out that the crash was rigged. An asshole who is normal when it comes to trying to knock everyone off the track, and he is always and I mean always trying to win."
Charlie is concerned about this. "Well, doesn't anyone else see what this cheater is doing?"
Janette Wilder then uses her stopwatch and she is impressed by the speed of Kurt Logann. "No one has proof of this dickhead and his damned cheating, and I have been trying to prove this annoying cheating turd, and soon we will make sure he is caught and then banned from ever racing."
"As you should know, we have went to the sinner sisters and it is there to which we modified the engine of Kurt's ride, and then I asked Tannins and I intend to pay her, to send out special security drones with cameras, so that they can monitor what goes down at the race track, before the race, and at the pits. This plan is full proof and that bastard will be banned from racing."
Leni smiles hearing this. "Totes awesome, and sure to hell that will not just help Kurt, but it could help all the other racers and keep them in the race, and stop folks from getting hurt."
Charlie agrees. "Good call, Janette. You made the best call for that, and also here he comes again." They then time the speed and again he has made his speed record the same and now they can see that this could be one race where Kurt Logann is gonna win it.
Janette smirks. "This is gonna be one heck of a win, the underdog rookie who has been a wicked die hard and love from the fans is gonna win it big time."
