An unexpected turn of events, and it all involves Leni M. Morningstar, and Kurt Logann, a memory from long ago and with this, something else will ignite and will be a touching moment for the others who will witness this, and someone who might help them with their job, at I.M.P, along with a small deal made. "Memories of two old friends."

(July 2. Ketcham Park, Royal Woods Michigan.)

This is where Leni is and she is waiting for someone to arrive, some she has requested to meet and she seems nervous. 'Oh, I hope this works. I mean, what if he doesn't even remember what happened long ago? This is gonna be totes awkward.'

Leni then sees that Charlie, Vaggie and Lori are watching over her from a distance. This gives Leni some confidence, and she did tell them about what she had forgotten and now remembered, and they believe in her and this makes her feel like she can do this.

Alastor and Lady G. Valentine are walking around the Park and also watching over Leni, and the hotel is closed for the day, and so we also see Niffty is here, and she is playing at the swings along with Velvet, and they have binoculars, and even Husk is there going through his phone while drinking a can of beer. Vortex is not there, he is spending the summer with his girlfriend.

"Leni?" The young woman turns around and she sees the man she wishes to speak to, the young racer/rookie, Kurt Logann. "You look lovely today..." Inside his head, he is screaming. 'Oh wow! Did I just say that?!'

They are unaware that Janette Wilder sees this and she is surprised. "Did he just say that?" she is joined by Lincoln, Luna and Loona and even they speak. "Did he just say that?"

Kurt then speaks and blushes. "Can I sit next to you?"

Leni blushes and she nods. "Yeah, sure... Go on ahead, I don't mind..." She blushes and then sees the young man is sitting next to her and the duo look away and are blushing red like mad, and they don't even know what to say.

Leni. 'Okay, he is right there and I should talk to him. Dang it, why is this so hard? I mean, I have fought through so much, changed and even dealt with a sicko and perverted snake freak, and yet I can't have the bravery to speak to Kurt?'

Kurt. 'Calm down, calm down. She is right there and I just... Why is this so difficult?! I mean, I can drive a stock car and have the courage to be ahead of my competitors, and for some reason I can't have the courage to talk to Leni?'

Leni then looks around and she recalls something. 'I remember, that is the very same tree where I was stuck, and I climbed up the tree to get my kite, and I didn't know how to get down and Kurt showed up and drove away the mean boys who kept mocking me.'

Kurt does the same and he also recalls some stuff. 'That was the day I helped Leni out of that bind, and then when she climbed down, she didn't know her round sunglasses fell and she stepped on them and then they broke and then I had some money to help fix it, and all I could afford was some cheap glue from some dork named Flip and tape, and I fixed them.'

Leni smiles as she remembers those days. 'It was so sweet of him to fix my glasses and he wasn't bothered to the fact that I wasn't the brightest girl around, and I hugged him and we became good friends, and then he invited me to have a picnic with his parents, and it was fun spending time with other folks who were alright and patient with me.'

Kurt also smiles as he recalls the times. 'I think hanging out with someone who wasn't like any other kid was something I will never ever forget, because Leni was different and special and she was kinda pretty back then. I guess I had a huge crush on her after she hugged me and then I saw her in a whole new way, she is a kind and nice person and all she wants to do is help, just like me.'

Both Kurt and Leni are now thinking the same words. 'That was the day that I found someone who was almost just like me, though we kinda had different likings and different life styles and families, we both wanted to help those in need and see the smiles on the folks after the good dang deeds done.'

"This was the place where it all started..." Leni and Kurt then realized what they had said out loud and then they look to each other and are surprised. "Wait, you remembered the day we first met long ago?"

Kurt and Leni now have stars in their eyes and they feel like everything around them has entered a slow motion state, and then they both hold hands and just stare at each other, and everyone else sees this and are happy at what has happened, heck even Husk smirks seeing this. "Way to go, kid."

Charlie has stars in her eyes and Vaggie wipes away a tear, and Lori takes a photo of this, and Niffty writes this down, because this has inspired her to make something in her fanfiction and Velvet video records this moment and even Leni's friends are surprised to witness this moment, which is Love at first sight, through good memories from the past.

Alastor and Lady G find this adorable and reminds them of themselves... Sorta, and the Silva Hounds and Janette Wilder sigh in relief, the duo remember their past and are now both smitten for each other. "Well, it looks like things will be very interesting for when the parents and little sister arrive" replied Janette.

Lincoln is surprised by what she said. "Wait, what?"

Loona then senses someone coming and then she turns around and she sees who it is. "Hey, Amanda. What the heck are you doing here?"

Indeed, it is Amanda Bright and then she speaks. "Well, I came here to discuss about what is happening at Camp Mastodon, it is closing..."

They are surprised and Janette Wilder stands up. "Well, I will be someplace else. You all have fun talking with each other." She then walks away from them.

Then Luna speaks. "What the heck do you mean dude?"

Amanda Bright then explains. "Apparently, the camp doesn't have enough cash anymore, and they can't keep the place up and running, and also the man who runs the place is finally gonna retire in Florida, the camp closes down once the summer is done."

They are all surprised to hear this and this means they will need to tell those who are coming for this trip, and then Lincoln speaks. "Yeah, okay. Thanks for that, anything else you wanted to talk to us? Because it seems like this discussion is not done yet."

Amanda chuckles. "Smart kid, but yeah there is another thing I wanna ask..." She then takes a deep breath. "Can I come and witness what you guys do?"

They all remain silent. "What?" even Velvet appears out of nowhere and Vark from the nearby trash can.

Amanda then explains some more. "I wanna see what you guys do and witness how thrilling and dangerous it is and see how skilled you guys are at being hellborn and well-trained hitmen. I wanna try and make it all part of the book about what you guys have been through. Please?"

They remain silent and are surprised. Then Lincoln speaks. "We're gonna need a meeting, tomorrow, because today Blitzo is dealing with catering for a party, and Moxxie and Millie are doing their part on Vampires of Melancholia, along with Lucy and her friends." the others also agree.

Amanda Bright nods. "Alright..." she then sees Leni and Kurt now standing up and walking together and talking. "Is that Kurt Logann?"
