I tried my best to make the aftermath of the ferry scene as unbiased as I could, but personally I believe that Peter made his bed and he should lie in it. Obviously Tony made a few mistakes but I'm not gonna villainize him for them.

In the 'lair', Mason tells Toomes that he can finish the next order but it'll be hard without the materials from the truck.

Toomes asks if they still have enough to do the Gargon deal.

Mason says they do but that's it then suggests that he build the high altitude seal.

"Still wants Toomes to do that 'big job' he was talking about?" Scott asked.

Toomes tells him to shut up about it and says that for years there hasn't been a word from the feds or the 'Halloween costume wearing bozos' at Stark tower.

"Well, that's certainly an interesting nickname." Natasha said.

Toomes says after all that a bastard in red tights shows up and thinks he can tear down everything he built.

"Well, I... did do that... eventually." Peter said.

Toomes says he's going to kill Spider-Man after he finds him.

Schultz points to the TV and says he found him.

The reporter says Spider-Man swooped in and saved an academic decathlon team from Queens and his identity is still unknown.

"As it should be." Peter said.

Later at night, after being saved from the elevator, the decathlon team and Peter all meet up with their families.

"Thank god everyone's okay after that whole ordeal." Quill said.

Jason and Betty are giving morning announcements. Jason says Midtown's academic decathlon team defeated the country's best and won the national championship.

"Congratulations." Bruce said.

Jason says that later that day they also defeated death.

The teenagers snorted. "No room for subtlety when it comes to Jason." MJ said.

Videos of the decathlon team describing the events at the Washington monument are shown. Abe says everyone was screaming.

Charles says there was purple lasers and smoke.

Mr. Harrington says they made it out alive and that was the important thing.

"Right." People agreed.

"True." Others said.

Mr. Harrington says he couldn't bear to lose a student on the trip again.

"What do you mean 'again?'" Coulson asked.

"Anyone else suspicious of Mr. Harrington now? Because I am." Ned whispered to Peter and MJ.

Jason says nobody was seriously injured thanks to Spider-Man. Betty and Jason both thank Spider-Man.

Jason says the Spider-Man mania is sweeping the school and asks how they can show 'spider spirit?'

"Spider Spirit?" May asked.

Ned finds Peter in the hallway and asks what it's like being famous when no one knows it's him.

Peter says it's crazy.

Ned agrees and asks if they should tell everyone.

"No. No we should not." Peter said.

Peter says no. Ned asks if he could tell everyone.

Peter says that's not a good idea.

"Definitely a bad idea." Ned agreed, after he told him about what happened with Toomes, he had come around to seeing things from Peter's point of view.

Ned says they'll be late for class.

Peter says he isn't going to class.

Ned says Peter is already in trouble for ditching the decathlon.

"Peter, please don't start skipping classes." May asked.

Peter says he figured it out and says the wingsuit guy is stealing from Damage Control and he's building weapons with what he takes and all he needs to do is catch the guy.

"Easier said than done." Steve said.

Ned says they have a Spanish quiz.

Peter says he's probably never going to come back there and says Tony is moving the Avengers upstate.

Ned asks Peter if he wants to be a high-school drop out.

Peter says he's far beyond high school.

"Peter no. You're not dropping out of high school." May said.

"I know. I won't, I don't know what I was thinking." Peter said.

Principal Morita tells Peter to go to his office.

"Somebody's in trouble." MJ mocked, playfully.

A Captain America PSA is playing. Steve says they got detention, screwed up and they know what they did was wrong and the question is how to make things right.

"There's more!?" Bucky laughed.

"This is too perfect." Sam cackled.

Steve says maybe they were trying to be cool, but take it from a guy who was frozen for 65 years and says the only way to be cool is to follow the rules.

"Follow the rules? That's rich coming from you." Bucky said, still laughing.

"How many of these are there?" Tony asked. "I need copies."

"Why do you need copies?" Steve asked.

"That's not your concern." Tony responded.

Peter gets up and walks out. Coach Wilson asks Peter where he's going and tells him to come back.

"The bare minimum." Rhodey said.

"Is he really gonna just let you walk out?" May asked.

Coach Wilson notices MJ and asks why she's there if she doesn't have detention.

MJ says she likes to come in to sketch people in a crisis, then shows Coach Wilson a drawing and says it's him.

Everyone giggled. "Interesting hobby." Hope said.

Peter lifts up a row of lockers and pulls out some web fluid.

"You hide that at school?" Ned asked.

Peter gets home and goes to his room. He puts his mask on and greets Karen. Karen asks how his Spanish quiz went.

"Karen knew about the Spanish quiz." Scott asked.

"I'm pretty sure she knows everything." Ned said.

Peter ignores the question and says he's trying to figure out who the guys under the bridge were but he can only remember part of a license plate.

Karen says she can run facial recognition on the footage of that night and says she records everything Peter sees.

Peter cringed, remembering what that 'everything' included.

Peter asks if she records all the time.

Karen says it's called the baby monitor protocol.

Peter says of course it is and tells her to play footage from last Friday.

Footage of Peter in the mirror rehearsing what he would say to Liz at the party plays.

Everyone laughed, Peter only sighed, that was embarrassing.

Peter says this is just him messing around and tells Karen to go later in the day.

Footage of Peter holding a meat mallet and imitating Thor plays.

"Well they say imitation is the best form of flattery." Natasha said.

"A very accurate impression." Loki said.

"Yeah I can't tell the difference between them." Valkyrie agreed.

Peter says that's definitely not what he wanted to watch.

Karen says his impressions are very funny.

"I agree." Vision said.

Peter tells her to fast forward to the arms deal. Footage of the deal plays. Peter asks who the two on the right are.

Karen searches law enforcement databases and says there's no record of them, but identifies Aaron Davis and says he has a criminal record and an address in Queens.

"Think he's gonna tell you who the other two are?" Sam asked.

Peter says they'll pay him a visit.

Karen asks if she should activate the enhanced interrogation protocol.

"Shouldn't have, wasn't very intimidating." Peter said.

Aaron davis puts some groceries in the trunk of his car. Peter's drone follows him, Peter drops down and shoots a web at Aaron's hand. In a deep voice, Peter asks if he remembers him and says he needs information and Aaron will give it to him.

"You've never interrogated someone have you?" Clint asked.

Aaron asks what happened to his voice.

Peter asks what he means.

Aaron says he heard Peter on the bridge and he knows what a girl sounds like.

Peter says he isn't a girl he's a boy before backtracking and saying he's a man.

"Do I really sound like a girl?" Peter asked.

Aaron says he doesn't care what Peter is.

Peter asks who's selling the weapons and he needs to know, he tells Aaron to give him names or else.

Aaron slams the trunk shut and realizes Peter hasn't done this before.

"No, I have not." Peter sighed.

Peter says to deactivate interrogation mode.

"Stupid idea anyway." Peter muttered, slightly embarrassed.

In his normal voice, Peter says those guys are selling dangerous weapons that shouldn't be out on the streets

"No, they should not." Fury agreed.

Peter says that one of them cut Delmar's in half.

Aaron asks if he knows Delmar's.

Peter says it's the best sandwich in Queens.

Aaron says subhaven is pretty good.

Peter says it's too much bread.

"What's wrong with bread?" Tony asked.

"How did you get from trying to find the people in charge of the weapons dealings to arguing about sandwiches?" Ned asked.

Aaron says he likes bread.

Peter sighs and walks away and tells Karen not to do interrogation mode again.

Aaron says the other night Peter told that dude if he's gonna shoot at something to shoot at him and says it was pretty ballsy.

"Yeah." Rocket agreed.

Aaron says he doesn't want the weapons in the neighborhood either because he has a nephew that lives there.

Peter asks who the weapons dealers are and asks about the guy with the wings.

Aaron says he can't tell him anything other than that he's a psychopath dressed like a demon.

"Accurate description." Gamora said.

Aaron says he doesn't know who the guy is or where he is but he does know where he's going to be.

"Now he's being helpful." Strange said.

Aaron says a guy he used to work with is supposed to be dealing with him. Peter starts walking away. Aaron says he didn't give the location.

Peter walks up to him and asks where they'll be.

Aaron asks if he can give some advice and tells him that he needs to get better at 'this' part of the job.

"Yes you do." Natasha agreed. "It all comes from practice."

Peter asks what he means and says he's intimidating.

"Hate to break it to you but... you really aren't." Maria said.

"Yeah, your intimidating side is the equivalent to Quill's 'bad side.'" Rocket said.

Aaron says they'll be on the Staten Island Ferry at 11.

Peter realizes that that's soon and tells Aaron that the webs will dissolve in 2 hours.

Aaron tells him to fix it. Peter says he deserves it because he's a criminal.

Aaron says he has ice cream in there.

"His ice cream will melt." Ned said, sadly.

"I feel bad now." Peter said. "The ice cream didn't deserve that."

Peter jumps off a building and glides onto the ferry. He tells Karen to activate enhanced reconnaissance mode. Schultz and Toomes are on the ferry. Peter sees Schultz and recognizes him from the bridge then asks who the other guy is.

"The one who's behind everything." MJ said.

Karen says there's no record of him on her criminal database.

May calls Peter. Karen asks if she should reroute it it the heads up display.

Peter says he can't talk right now and he'll call May back.

"Sorry about that." Peter apologized to May, awkwardly.

Peter tells 'Dronie' to keep an eye on Toomes because they can't let anyone get away.

"You couldn't come up with a more creative name than 'Dronie'?" Sam asked.

Peter sees 3 people standing around, he asks Karen who the guy on the left is.

Karen says his name is Mac Gargan and he has an extensive criminal record that includes homicide. She asks if she should activate instant kill.

"No!" Peter yelled.

Peter tells Karen to stop with the instant kill.

Schultz walks out and tells Mac he's looking for white pickup truck.

Peter tells Dronie to scan the boat for a white pickup truck.

Dronie finds the truck and Randy gets out of it and reveals the weapons to Mac.

"Oh no."

Peter says this is perfect because he has the weapons, buyers and sellers all in one place.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself." Steve said.

Peter gets a call from Tony. Tony asks Peter if he has a sec.

Peter says he's at school.

Karen says he isn't.

Tony compliments his work in D.C. and says his dad never gave him support and he's trying to break that cycle of shame.

Howard looked a little guilty after hearing that.

Peter says he's in the middle of something.

Tony tells Peter not to cut him off when he's complimenting him. The ferry's horn blows. Tony asks what that was.

Peter says he's at band practice.

"But you quit band." MJ pointed out.

"Yeah, I know that." Peter said.

Tony says that's odd because Happy told him that Peter quit band 6 weeks ago.

Peter says he's gotta go then hangs up.

"Big mistake." Peter muttered to himself.

Peter uses webs to take the weapons dealer's guns. He jumps down and tells them that the illegal weapons deal ferry was at 10:30.

Peter quickly takes down 3 of them, Schultz gets his electric weapon caught in a gate. One of the men tells Toomes that Spider-Man is there.

"Shit." Ned whispered.

The others try and get away, Peter flings them around a bit. He apologizes and says that was a little hard before turning to Schultz and saying that the other guy was better with the electric weapon.

"Yeah, that guy doesn't really know how to use it." Clint said.

Peter reloads his web-shooters and says he's shocked.

Everyone laughed at the subtle mocking.

Peter shoots a web grenade at someone running at him. Toomes slams someone into a van. Peter runs toward him, FBI agents show up and tell Peter not to move.

"You really have the worst luck." Ned said.

Peter asks why the FBI is there. Toomes, now in his wingsuit, flies toward Peter. Peter gets everyone out of the way, Toomes hits Peter with a car. Toomes flies up and starts shooting, Peter webs his foot.

"Oh no."

Toomes continues shooting. Peter connects Toomes to a car and webs his other gets flung off Toomes' foot and webs himself back to the ferry. Peter webs Toomes' gun and pulls him in. Peter activates taserwebs and pulls the gun from Toomes.

"Finally."

Peter covers the gun in webs. Toomes tells Peter that he's messing with things he doesn't understand. The gun fires again and Schultz jumps on Toomes' wings to escape. The ferry splits in half.

"Son of a bitch!" Scott swore.

"This isn't good." Thor said.

Peter asks Karen for an X-ray of the boat and tells her to target the strongest points. Peter uses multiple webs to try and hold the ship together. Karen says he's 98% successful. The webs start breaking.

"Oh no, no no no no. This is bad, this is very bad." Ned said.

Peter shoots webs at either side of the ship and tries to hold it together. Suddenly, the crack in the boat gets smaller. Peter drops down and sees Tony through a window. Tony greets Peter and asks if he was at band practice.

"But why did the way he said 'Hi, Spider-Man' sound really creepy?" Shuri asked.

Smaller repulsors attach themselves to the ship and push it together. The passengers cheer for Iron Man.

"Thank god, the passengers are okay." Pepper said.

Tony flies below deck and seals the cracks, Peter follows and asks Tony what he should do.

Tony says he thinks Peter's done enough then flies off. Rescue boats arrive.

"You didn't have to be so harsh." Rhodey said.

In the lair, Schultz starts to leave. Toomes asks if he's just going to run.

Schultz says the feds were waiting for them and they're on Iron Man's radar and says he's running.

"Smart. Get out while you still can." Coulson said.

Schultz tells Toomes that he should too.

Toomes says he can't.

"Of course you can, you just don't want to." Strange said.

Schultz asks what he's going to do now.

Toomes asks Mason if he can get that high-altitude vacuum seal up and running in time.

Mason tells Toomes that he can and he won't regret it.

"They're doing the 'big job' then?" Hank asked.

Peter sits on top of a building. Tony flies up to him and says he told Peter to stay away from this but instead he hacked a multi-million dollar suit so he could sneak around his back and do the one thing he told him not to.

"Well it does sound bad when you put it like that, but that was not my prime intention." Peter said.

Peter asks if everyone's okay.

Tony says it's no thanks to Peter.

Peter stands up and says that those weapons are out there and he tried to tell Tony about it but he didn't listen and says if Tony actually cared he'd be there. Tony steps out of the suit.

"Here we go." Peter sighed.

Tony says he did listen

"You could've at least let me know that you believed me when I told you." Peter said.

Tony asks Peter who he thought called the FBI.

"What was the FBI gonna do in the face of weapons like that?" Coulson asked. "You saw what they did. They cut the ferry clean in half."

Tony says he was the only one who believed in Peter and everyone else thought he was crazy to recruit a 14 year old hid.

"Well...you kinda were." Steve said.

Peter says he's 15.

"Not the time, maybe." Ned said. "He seems pretty pissed."

Tony tells him to zip-it because the adult is talking and asks Peter if someone died tonight and it would be a different story because it's on Peter. He says if Peter died he feels like that's on himself and he doesn't need it on his conscience.

"I mean, I get what you're trying to say, I really do. But you're coming off as a bit of an asshole, maybe you should tone it down a bit." Rhodey said.

Peter apologizes. Tony says sorry won't cut it.

Peter says he just wanted to be like Tony.

"No offence, but I'm probably the last person you should look at for a role model." Tony said.

Tony says he wanted Peter to be better then says it's not working out and he'll need the suit back.

Peter asks how long.

Tony says forever.

Peter tells Tony that he's nothing without the suit.

"You really aren't, Peter." May said. "The suit is just a suit, it doesn't define you."

Tony says if Peter is nothing without the suit then he shouldn't have it.

Steve was reminded of what he told Tony on the helicarrier not so long ago. 'Big man in a suit of armor, take that off what are you?'

A few people were mad at Tony for taking the suit. To them, it seemed like it wasn't the right way to go about doing what he was trying to do.

Others were more understanding, because to them if Peter was depending on the suit to tell him what kind of hero he is, maybe going back to his roots would help him remember.

Tony says he sounds like his dad.

Peter tells Tony that he doesn't have any other clothes.

Tony says they can sort that out.

"Sort it out? He came home smelling like garbage." May said.

Later, Peter dejectedly walks home wearing an over sized white t-shirt and hello kitty pajama bottoms.

"Oh my god, I love your pants where did you get them?" Shuri asked.

He knocks on the apartment door, May lets him in. May says she's been calling him all day and he didn't answer his phone.

"I'm sorry, May." Peter said.

May says the ferry thing happened and she called 5 police stations, his friends and Ned's mom.

Peter says he's fine and tells her to relax.

"Don't tell me to relax, Peter I was worried sick about you." May said.

"I know, May." Peter said. "I'm really sorry."

May tells him to cut the bullshit and says she knows he left detention and the hotel room in Washington and she knows he sneaks out of the house every night and that is not fine. She tells Peter to tell her what's going on.

"Well..."

Peter says he lost the Stark Internship. May asks what happened. Peter says he thought he could work really hard and he would- he cuts himself and says he screwed up.

"You did... and Tony did too, a little, but you can learn from that." Steve said.

May hugs Peter's head. Peter apologizes for making her worry.
