Peter is in Principal Morita's office. Principal Morita tells Peter that he's a smart kid and tells him to keep his head straight. Peter agrees, Principal Morita dismisses him.

"Was that a picture of Jim Morita on his shelf?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, he's actually Jim Morita's grandson." Peter said.

Ned, who was waiting outside asks Peter if he's expelled and if he has to go to the high school on 46th street with the principal who has a crossbow.

"Why would the principal need a crossbow?" Howard asked.

"Visit the high school, then you'll know why." Ned said.

"Ned, you know that's a myth, right?" MJ asked.

Peter says he's sure that's an urban myth and says he isn't expelled.

Ned says Peter is so lucky.

"Yeah." Peter agreed.

Peter lays his head on a desk. A few seats away from him, MJ shows him a drawing of himself in her crisis notebook.

"Oh ha ha." Peter said, sarcastically.

In Spanish class, Peter raises his hand and answers the question in Spanish.

Later, in an empty classroom, Peter and Ned finish building the lego death star and do their secret handshake.

"Yay, you fixed it." Shuri said, happily.

In the empty hallway, Peter finds Liz. He says he thought she had calculus 5th period.

Liz says she was doing some homecoming stuff.

Peter apologizes for the decathlon thing.

Liz says last week decathlon was the most important thing then she almost died.

"Really puts things into perspective." Tony said.

"It really does." Strange agreed.

Peter says it wasn't cool to do that especially because he likes her.

Liz says she knows.

Everyone laughed. "Han Solo moment." Ned giggled.

Liz tells Peter that he's terrible at keeping secrets.

"Oh, the irony that statement holds." Peter said.

Peter says she'd be surprised and says they should hang out but he'll be in detention forever then says he gesses she already has a date for Homecoming.

Liz says she was so busy planning it that she never got around to that part.

"Happens to the best of us." Pepper said.

Peter asks if she'd like to go with him. Liz says she would. Peter says that's cool, Liz agrees. Peter walks back to class.

Everyone smiled.

"Teenagers are so awkward, but in like an endearing sort of way." Hope said. "If that makes sense."

Peter slides into the kitchen and tells May that he needs her help. Peter gets ready for homecoming, May helps him learn to tie a tie and dance.

"You look nice, very dapper." Peggy said.

May drives up to Liz's house and asks what the game plan is.

Peter says he'll open the door for Liz and tell her she looks nice but not so much that it's creepy.

May tells him not to be creepy.

"Definitely avoid creepy." Pepper said.

Peter says he'll put his hands on her hips when they dance and says he's got this.

"You do."

Peter gets out of the car with a corsage in his hands, he rings the doorbell and Toomes answers it.

"What!?" Everyone yelled.

"Oh no." Natasha said.

Toomes greets Peter and says he's Liz's dad.

"That's one hell of a plot twist." Quill said.

"I wasn't expecting that." Wanda said.

"Let's just hope that he doesn't know who you are." Rhodey said.

Toomes asks for a handshake and compliments Peter's grip when they do shake hands. They walk inside.

Doris walks in and says Peter looks handsome then says she'll go get Liz.

Toomes asks Peter if he's alright because he looks pale.

"Maybe because he's in the same room as the person who's tried to kill him 3 times." May said.

Toomes says Peter looks pale and asks if he wants something to drink and suggests bourbon or scotch.

"Is he seriously offering alcohol to a minor?" May asked.

Peter says he isn't old enough to drink.

Toomes says that's the right answer.

"He's... testing you?" Steve asked.

"It's what dads do when their daughter has a date." Bucky said.

Liz walks out in a red dress, she asks Toomes not to embarrass her.

"She looks stunning." Shuri said.

Toomes tells her that she looks beautiful and asks Peter if she does.

Peter tell Liz that she looks really good.

Toomes says once again that's the right answer.

Liz notices the corsage in Peter's hand. Peter passes it to her without looking at her.

"Awkward."

Toomes says he's the chauffeur and says they should get going.

Doris says they have to take pictures first, she goes to take some pictures and tells them to smile.

Peter tells Toomes that he doesn't need to drive them.

"In fact I'd have preferred that you didn't." Peter said.

Toomes says it's not a big deal and he's going out of town and the school's on his way.

Doris says Toomes is always coming and going.

"Because he's been illegally dealing weapons for 4 years." Strange said.

Liz hugs Doris and walks to the door. Toomes kisses Doris, then they leave.

In the car, Toomes asks Peter what he'll do when he graduates.

Peter says he doesn't know.

Liz tells Toomes not to grill Peter.

Toomes says everyone who goes to their school pretty much has their life planned out.

Peter, Ned and MJ all burst out laughing. "You think we know what we're doing in the future?" Ned asked.

"That's hilarious." MJ said.

Peter says he's only a Sophomore.

Liz says Peter has an internship with Tony Stark so she doesn't think Peter needs to worry.

"Really wish she didn't mention that." Peter said.

Toomes asks Peter what he does.

Peter says he doesn't intern for Tony anymore because it got boring.

Liz says he got to hang out with Spider-Man.

"More than hang out." Peter said.

Toomes is shocked and asks what Spider-Man is like.

Peter says Spider-Man is a solid dude. Liz shows Peter something on her phone.

Toomes asks Peter if he's ever seen him around somewhere and says his voice is familiar.

"Oh no." Ned said.

Liz says Peter does academic decathlon with her and he was at her party.

Peter says it was a great party and that their house is beautiful with lots of windows.

Liz says Peter was there for 2 seconds.

"Those 2 seconds were very enjoyable." Peter said.

Peter says he was there longer than 2 seconds.

Liz says he disappeared.

Peter says he didn't disappear.

"You kinda did." MJ said.

Liz says he did like he always does, like he did in D.C..

Toomes says what happened in D.C. was terrible and asks Peter if he was scared then says he bet Peter was glad when his pal Spider-Man showed up in the elevator.

"He's onto you." May said, worried.

Peter says he didn't go up but he saw it from the ground and they were very lucky Spider-Man was there.

They arrive at the school, Liz gets out, Toomes says he's gonna give Peter the dad talk.

"More like you're gonna threaten me, but sure 'dad talk' works too." Peter said, bitterly.

Toomes sets a gun on the dashboard and asks Peter is Liz knows.

Peter is confused. Toomes concludes that Liz doesn't know and says that's good and says Peter is close to the vest and he admires that and says he has a few secrets of his own.

"Won't remain secret for long." MJ said.

Toomes tells Peter that nothing is more important than family. He says Peter saved his daughter's life and he could never forget that so he'll give him a chance and tells Peter to walk through those doors and forget this ever happened and never interfere with his business again.

"Not gonna happen." Peter said.

Toomes says if Peter does, he'll kill him and everyone he loves because that's what he'll do to protect his family. Toomes tells peter that he just saved his life and asks what Peter is supposed to say to that. Peter thanks him.

"He expects you to be thankful for that? He didn't save your life he just threatened to kill you if you continued to interfere with what he was doing, and plays it off like not killing you was some great thing." May said, angrily.

Toomes tells Peter to get out of the car and show Liz a good time, just not too good. Peter steps out of the car and Toomes drives off.

Peter walks up to the gym and sees the decathlon team chatting. MJ looks at him and, jokingly, gives him the finger.

Everyone giggled. "Thank you." Peter said to MJ, sarcastically.

Peter walks into the gym and finds Liz. Liz asks what Toomes said to him.

Peter says he has to go before apologizing and saying she doesn't deserve this. Peter runs off.

Everyone felt a pang of sympathy for Peter and Liz. For one, Peter deserved to have fun on that date, but he couldn't because he couldn't let Toomes get away. And Liz didn't deserve to be ditched on her date, even if she didn't know why Peter left.

Peter runs through the hall, lifts up a row of lockers and takes his old suit out. He quickly changes and runs into the parking lot. Schultz hits Peter in the face with his electric gauntlet, Peter's web shooters fall off his wrists.

"I thought he was leaving this line of work." Steve said.

"Evidentially he changed his mind." Toy sighed.

Schultz says Peter had a choice and he chose the wrong one then asks what's with the crappy costume. Peter stands and goes to grab one of the web shooters, Schultz pushes a bus into him. Peter drops the web shooter and get's knocked into a different bus.

"Ooh, that had to hurt." Clint winced.

Schultz kicks the web-shooter away and says he wasn't sure about the gauntlet at first. He uses the gauntlet to hit Peter into the windshield of another bus.

Peter lands on the floor of the bus and sees gum under the seat.

"That's disgusting, why do kids do that?" Sam asked.

Schultz hit's the bus Peter is in and the bus rolls, when the bus stops, Peter stumbles out of it and asks why Toomes sent Schultz there.

Schultz says Peter will never know. Ned shoots a web at Schultz's gauntlet.

"Hell yeah, nice shot, Ned." Scott said.

Peter uses the web to knock the gauntlet away and takes the web shooter back. He webs Schultz to the bus. Peter runs up to Ned and says that the guy with the wings is Liz's dad

"I feel bad for Liz." Peter said.

Peter tells Ned to call Happy who's Tony's head to security and get a computer so he can track Peter's phone.

Ned asks Peter if he's going to be okay.

Peter says they need to catch Toomes before he leaves town, then he swings away.

"Good luck." Happy said.

Flash and his date are driving. Flash says he's sorry about dinner but he knows when Branzino's fresh and that was not fresh.

"He really went all out didn't he?" Sam asked.

"Well, it's not like he's going to impress a girl with his winning personality." Hope said.

Peter lands on the hood of Flash's car and tell him that he'll need his car and his phone.

Flash says it's actually his dad's car.

Later, Flash and his date are on the sidewalk, Peter drives away with Flash's car and hits some bikes.

"You stole your bullies car. Nice." Bucky said.

Peter calls Ned and says he needs him to track his phone.

Ned asks where it is.

Peter's phone is in Toomes' car.

"You left your phone in Toomes' car so you could track him, clever." Maria said.

Ned says that was a genius move and says Toomes just passed the GameStop on Jackson Avenue.

Peter asks where the headlights on Flashe's car are.

Ned pulls up the specs and says it was awesome that he stole Flash's car.

"I agree." Shuri said.

Peter agrees then swerves to avoid a bus. Ned asks Peter if he's okay.

Peter says he's only ever driven with May in parking lots and this is a huge step up.

"It is." May said, worried. "Please be careful."

Peter asks Ned if he's gotten through to Happy.

Ned says he's working on it and he just has to backdoor the phone system. He does some things on the computer then spins on his chair and proclaims himself the guy in the chair.

"Looks like I needed a guy in the chair after all." Peter said.

Ned reaches Happy, Happy asks who's on the phone.

Ned says he's an associate of Peter Parker and he has something important to tell him. Happy hangs up.

"Dammit, Happy."

Peter asks Ned how they're doing with the headlights.

Ned says its the round knob to the left of the steering wheel.

Peter turns the headlights on and asks where his phone is.

Ned says Toomes stopped in an old industrial park in Brooklyn.

Peter says that makes no sense because Toomes said he was going out of town.

"Maybe he lied." Quill said.

Ned says he reached Happy and says he doesn't think Happy likes Peter. He says it sounded like Happy was catching a flight that's taking off in 9 minutes and he was surrounded by boxes.

"Moving day." Everyone remembered.

Peter remembers that it's moving day and realizes that Toomes is going to rob that plane.

"Oh no, this isn't good." Pepper said.

"That must have been the 'big job' he mentioned, robbing the Avengers." Clint realized.

At Avengers Tower, Happy says wheels are up in 8 minutes and they still need to load Tony's old Hulkbuster armor, a prototype for Steve's new shield and Thor's magic belt, which he can't pronounce.

"It's called Megingjörð." Thor said.

"New shield?" Steve asked.

Ned tells Peter to slow down and says the building is on his right.

Peter uses his web and makes a sharp right hand turn and crashes Flash's car.

"You could've warned me sooner." Peter said. "Worst GPS ever."

Ned asks Peter if he's okay. Peter says he is and tells Ned to keep trying to reach Happy. Ned says it's been an honor. Ms. Warren turns on the lights of the room Ned's in and asks what he's doing in there. Ned says he's watching porn.

"Ned! You can't just say things like that." Peter said, shocked that Ned would say that to a teacher, but he also found the situation hilarious.

Peter lowers himself into the warehouse and comes across various monitors. One displaying security footage of Avengers Tower and another displaying blueprints.

"Well you were right, he is planning to rob the plane." Hope said.

Peter turns around and sees Toomes' wingsuit. He swings further into the warehouse and sees Toomes at a desk. Toomes turns to Peter and says he didn't hear him some in.

Peter says it's over and says he's got him.

Toomes says he admires Peter's grit.

"Is it just me or does Toomes seem entirely too calm?" Maria asked.

Toomes says he sees why Liz likes him, he says when Peter first came to the house he wasn't sure but he gets it now.

Peter asks how Toomes could do this to Liz.

Toomes says he isn't doing anything to her.

"Maybe not directly, but you're still hurting her." Peter said.

Toomes says he's doing it for her. Peter webs Toomes' hand to the table. Toomes says Peter is young and he doesn't understand how the world works.

Peter says he understands that selling weapons to criminals is wrong.

Toomes asks how he thinks Tony paid for the tower.

"I wasn't selling to criminals, I was selling them to the army, Obadiah was selling them to criminals." Tony said.

Toomes says the rich and powerful people can do whatever they want but don't care about guys like him and Peter.

"He does have a point about that, a lot of One-percenters can get away with pretty much anything." Scott said. "I mean hell, I'm pretty sure most of them don't pay taxes."

"Don't forget about exploiting the working class." MJ added.

Toomes says they build their roads and fight their wars but they don't care about them. He says they need to pick up after them and eat their table scraps and says he knows Peter knows what he's talking about.

Peter asks why Toomes is telling him this.

"Because he's stalling." Natasha realized. "You need to get out of there."

Toomes says he wants Peter to understand and he needed time to get his suit airborne.

Toomes cuts himself free from the webs, his wings slice through the pillars of the buildings. Peter jumps out of the way. Toomes apologizes.

Peter says the suit hasn't touched him yet.

"Because, it isn't trying to hit you." Clint said.

Toomes says that's true but it wasn't trying to. The suit hits the remaining pillars and the warehouse crashes down on Peter.

"Oh my god." Ned gasped.

"Peter!" May screamed and hugged her nephew tightly, tears in her eyes.

"May, hey May. I'm okay, I'm fine, I'm okay." Peter assured his aunt.

Everyone else was too shocked to say anything.

Over a walkie talkie, Mason tells Toomes that they're powering up the engines and tells him to get going. Toomes walks out of the warehouse and puts his wings on.

"You asshole." May practically growled.

Peter takes his mask off and tries to free himself from the rubble. He starts calling for help.

"Peter." May said softly, she still hasn't stopped hugging him. Peter buried his head in her shoulder, not wanting to relive that.

Peter looks at his reflection in a puddle and Tony's words echo in his head. 'If you're nothing without this suit then you shouldn't have it'. Peter, now determined, assures himself and eventually he frees himself from the rubble.

Everyone smiled and some cheered, relieved that Peter made it out and impressed that he was able to lift all that rubble off of himself.

May sighed in relief, that her nephew made it out, but still refused to stop hugging him.

"I'm so glad you're okay." Ned said.
