Just another usual day for everyone, from the Goth girl and her friends, the sporty one and her buddies and dealing with what could be the return of an annoying Taunter, and then we have another day for some small talk with the superheroine of Royal Woods. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks!

Helluva Loud Adventures.

"Gothic, Taunting and the Superheroine."

(August 13. Royal Woods Cemetery.)

A gabble is struck and Haiku is the one who did so and then she speaks. "Welcome back, fellow Goth's of the Young Morticians club, and the High School Morticians club. We all have been through our own not so pleasant summer vacation away from here, and I am pleased to see that all of you have managed to survive." They all start to whisper about how they didn't even like their summer vacation trips.

Lucy then speaks. "We are all angered, and in pain knowing that we have been sent to a trip from which we couldn't be able to overcome, but we managed to pull through and here we are, all of us gathered and ready to begin what comes next for all of us. Now, does anyone have something to share?"

Boris speaks. "Lucy, you and your family didn't have a bad summer, right? We know that when you have your demon family, you are always alright and fine, and living the true darkened dreams."

Lucy nods. "Yes, it is true. I am always feeling in high spirits when I am around my family, they meant a lot to me, but at times the stuff we do in the vacations are stuff I don't usually would wanna partake, and yet I have to and it feels like we are bonding, so we all have our down times and worse moments when the summer vacation makes a hit onto all of us."

Haiku then speaks. "Now that we are all back, we can now get to discussing about what is coming soon close to the month of October, Casket-Con and it will be here in Royal Woods, and I know that all of us, well not Rocky are gonna go and attend such an event."

They all look towards Rocky and he explains. "I am fine with seeing caskets, just not going into them. Also, I have some big family plans on the near end of the month too. Something to do with my mom, brother and dad. Also, is this a group effort to raise cash to get tickets for all of us?"

Lucy nods. "Yes, I have cash saved and it is enough for five tickets, but there are currently 14 of us, and we need more if the Morticians club from the grade school and High School are to make this the best of moments of our lives. Any suggestions on how we can earn some more cash?"

Maggie raises her hand, and then she speaks. "Yeah, like. We can all split up and do some stuff to earn money. I can help wash cars, I have been good at that for the past two months and I am not gonna be one of those crazy cheerleaders who do that stuff, I am gonna be washing the local rides for funerals."

The others also like this idea and wish to join her, and the others also have other ideas, such as helping tend to the animals at the local zoo, mostly the bats in their cave. Selling cookies which are spooky or Gothic themed, or perhaps earning some cash by delivering newspapers, and all of these ideas makes Lucy smile. "My friends, it appears we all have our own priorities and plans. Let us put them into motion, and then get out hands on..."

They all hear a crunching sound, and they all see Velvet is amongst the crowd, standing and eating popcorn. "What?" She then eats another one. "Don't stop on my account, keep talking."

Haiku asks. "Alright, how did the rest of us not even notice the sinner who showed up here?

(The Royal Woods Diamond Park.)

Here we see EveLynn and she is doing some practice runs for the upcoming game, and with her team and her coach, which is her dad, Moxxie, and he observes what they do and then he blows the whistle as they have done the homerun. "Good job girls, another successful practice, and Paula seems faster now without the cast."

Paula nods. "Thanks coach, feels good to be free from the cast, and I am so ready for when we win it big next week!"

EveLynn chuckles. "That's the spirit." she then asks her dad. "So, coach. Was that a good play or should we run this thing again? Because some part of me thinks we could improve by a little bit if we can try not to skid or act like cars grinding onto the dirt like Tokyo Drift, we could get more speed and be able to hit all the bases before the ball is caught."

Margo then speaks. "Huh, that actually sounds like a good idea. We can try and avoid those slight and sharp turns and try and do some serious foot work if we are to pick up more speed. Also, the whole thing I wanna talk about is when we lose and get angry after some misses. Guys, we can't take the blame on the bat."

They all turn away and are chuckling nervously and recall, they have damaged a lot of baseball bats whenever it is a swing and a miss, and they have been buying a lot of new ones lately, mostly Lainey and she seems quite the gal to get ticked off when she misses the ball.

Moxxie then has a plan and they listen in on what it is, but none of them even know that someone is watching them and that someone is that old and mean Taunter, Scoots and she has a bag with her. "This will teach them for not taking me seriously and ignoring my taunts. I'll show that EveLynn who the boss is. She then winds up and she throws what she had in her bag, but it hits a bird.

"Huh, what?" they all see the bird is itchy and is trying to fly away, and then EveLynn looks around. "Look alive, team. Someone is trying to sabotage our practice run!"

They all have their baseball bats ready, and so does Moxxie, but he is using a steel bat, and then they see a bean bag thrown at them, and Moxxie looks closely and he calls out. "Catch it!" Maddie nods and with her baseball mit, she manages to grab the little bag and then hand it to the coach and he sniffs it. "This is mustard and honey, someone is trying to prank all of us!"

"Can't be Luan" replied EveLynn. "She's with her mom, visiting Great Lakes City with Lincoln and Jordan." She then sees another bean bag coming, and she leaps into the air and she kicks it away, it then lands onto a tree and blows up with confetti. "Well, that didn't seem dangerous at all."

Then Lainey looks around and she sees someone. "By the bleachers! Everyone, throw at me!" They all nod and throw baseballs at Lainey, but she has two baseball bats and she spins them around and all the balls are launched at what she is looking at, and they can hear someone taking the hits from the balls, but the person hiding also threw a bean bag and it goes up into the air and lands back down on her.

Then Scoots comes out and she panics, as the bean bag contained hot sauce and lemonade and she races off in pain and screaming and she even leaves behind the bag and then EveLynn goes over and she picks it up. "Well, well. Looks like the old wind bag of mockery didn't wanna give up and wanted to ruin the baseball game next."

Moxxie and the rest of the team come over, and then Annabelle speaks. "Which means we need to make sure that our next game doesn't turn into a mess. I mean, who knows what could happen next when we play ball, Scoots will be after us, and she won't stop."

Moxxie then grins. "Girls, I think I have an idea."

(Somewhere at the tallest building in Royal Woods.)

We once again see Lady Ace and she seems kinda tired, and she lands onto the edge of the building and she sighs in relief. "That is the fourth crime today, and I am so tired. Weird, I shouldn't be. But then again, I have been working hard a lot lately."

Lady Ace recalls, she has been dealing with fighting crime lately and the other day she did fight a robot and it tried to take her down, and then she had to clean up the acts from some criminals and other crooks, thieves and even bank robbers who aren't even from town, apparently the season of summer is an active ordeal for criminals and she needs to stop them.

'Would be nice to go around the country and stop crime, but I wanna keep this town, and city safe. Perhaps, I can extend my heroism to the other neighboring cities and towns, such as Hazeltucky, Beaverton and Great Lakes City, and when I have shown that I am capable of going that far, the rest of the state of Michigan can be under my watch. Yes, Amanda Bright, I mean Lady Ace has a plan!'

"Hey, thought you'd be here." Lady Ace turns around and she sees Lincoln Silva Hound and he is joined by his big sister, Luna Silva Hound and they brought some food. "We got some Wendy's, wanna eat? Because you looked kinda tired when you arrived."

Lady Ace nods. "Sure, thanks." They take a seat at the edge, next to Lady Ace and they all enjoy the burgers and milkshakes and then Lady Ace speaks. "So, what the heck is this all about?"

"We just wanna eat some lunch and it seems fair to share it with you dude" replied Luna. "Our mom is busy at work, and everyone else has plans, heck even Sam and Jordan have something else to do today."

Lincoln then speaks. "We also saw what you did the other day, and I gotta say, that is some mighty fine ass kicking you did to that robot. I just didn't think Richmund and those demon hunters would send something like that, and it means that they are desperate to come here and take us down, but that would also ruin the peace around here. We can't let them get to us."

Lady Ace nods. "Yeah, I am aware of that. I will not let some folks like that come through, and now that I think about it... Richmund and those demon hunters, are they super villains or something? Because, what they showed the other day made sense to be called that, right?"

Luna then answers. "Dude, they just sent one robot, that didn't seem much of a super bad guy thing. At that rank, and what they did... We'd call them slightly dangerous annoyances to the daily lives of everyone, and not in ranks of super villains unless they do something else worse."

"Whatever Richmund plans, he won't get away with it, and he is not the only problem we have. We have some issues with some folks, in hell" replied Lincoln and then he takes another bite from his burger.

Lady Ace is confused. "Really? Who?"

"The Von Eldritch sibling's dude" replied Luna. "Those guys are still at it, they have been sending hate mail and threats to us, but not a single attack or something. But we know that those dickheads are doing this because they are still sore from losing to us last time, well they did that to themselves and they shouldn't have ever done that to the kids of Charlie and Vaggie, and they think they can pick a fight with us? Well, they don't know who the hell they are dealing with."

Lincoln scoffs. "We'll take them down one day, but we would need to talk to Lucifer first, and then he would give us a valid reason to knock off one of his demonic allies to their end." He then fist bumps with Luna and the brother and sister drink their milkshakes.

Lady Ace is surprised to hear this, the Silva Hounds have some foes on earth, but they still have enemies in hell, and this makes Lady Ace think that perhaps she can be an ally to them, but she needs to thinking this through, because one thing she doesn't want, is them knowing who she really is under the title of Lady Ace.
