The fanfic starts out with original characters but progresses showing Negan, the saviors and other familiar faces as Jade must decide which side of the impending war she will stand on as Negan regroups to attack Rick.

Negan has found that he's come to appreciate Michonne enough to develop a crush on her, but he can see even after seven years, she can't let go of Rick. He wonders if acting on his feelings will help her move on. (Don't like, don't read)

Negan claims he can be trusted now, though the hardened leader of Alexandria is rightly skeptical. Much like how Rick had once tested her all those years back, Michonne decides to bite the bullet and take Negan out on a scavenge run, so he can begin to prove his worth. Season 9 Oneshot

Although they're two idiots that, as far as she can tell, seem to have no care for their own wellbeing, Rick and Daryl have families. She added that to the pro of helping them live. Bella's eyebrows furrowed, and, with a frown, she stared intently at her bow, as if willing it to make a choice for her. Instead, a June bug smacked her in the face. She narrowed her eyes.

This is focussing on Magnas group (mainly Yumiko x Magna, because obvs). My version on what might have happend during and after the story that lead to the pike scene, if they would be main characters. Not at all based on the comics and only loosley on the show.

After the tragedy of the fair, Judith visits Negan. Right away he can tell that something terrible went down considering her depressive behavior, and he wants nothing more than to make sure she's okay and protected.

"I love you Emily, and I won't let anything happen to you." Something he wishes was the truth "I love you too Sam, and as long as you survive, I'll survive with you." A statement that is so hard to keep true. "It's a promise."

Determined to leave Jones Springs behind them, the group is forced to fight their way out. While they are successful, it is not without cost and Magna is shot. Left with no other choice but to burn her gunshot wound shut, the group has to wait things out in an abandoned house. It's there where Yumiko lays it all out on the line-reminding Magna of all that she has to come back to.
