Chapter 305

That's It Man

Cameron thought it would be best if Jesse met with her family first by herself. Jesse was tough, but emotion could still overcome her. She really hoped the prelude to see everyone before hand cut some of the anxiety for Jesse. They could all get together later.

She reminded Gail the trip was for Jesse and about Jesse. Jesse wanted, no, needed to see them again. She could tell Jesse wanted to reconnect to her family the same way Allison did. She could see how important it was to Allison. She also saw how it left Vanna empty inside.

Cameron felt the real losers in all of it were Savannah and Vanna. Their parents were 'dead'. She considered several possible solutions to it and none of them were good. They all involved altering the timeline. She knew the hardship John felt over his father being dead. The loss of his uncle was nearly as bad. She was very relieved when they found alternate versions of them. It went a long way to repairing some of the damage. It benefited both John and Sarah. Savannah and Vanna lost all 'three' of their parents. It all weighed heavily on her.

Gail was very pleased with Cameron and her foresight. It was something beyond anything she ever thought of. She did consider going back in time to when Jesse was a girl in her future and taking her under her wing. Their relationship may never develop, but Jesse wouldn't suffer the abuse and violence she was subjected to. She was willing to sacrifice it all to give Jesse a better life. It might change everything now too if she did. Jesse would most likely not be where she was right now.

She heard and understood Cameron's repeated instructions to her to keep everything about Jesse and not about her or their relationship. She could see how they would be a distraction on several levels. She didn't want to be a problem. She was very appreciative of what Cameron did for Jesse.

"I want to personally thank you for being so thoughtful and protective of Jesse's younger self." Gail said. "I never considered this possibility."

Cameron told Gail not to worry about it. If Jesse's family ever wanted to move to California, they might be able to work out an arrangement like they did with Allison and the Young family. It would be for Jesse and her to stay with Jesse's family.

Gail was thrilled with the prospect. She was sure it was because it would put her closer to Jesse's family. It was an option she would take in a second. She offered to spearhead any effort and make sure everything went smoothly for Jesse and her family. She pledged her allegiance to Cameron in all of her endeavors going forward. She liked it because it would give her access to Young Jesse, her sister, and her mother. Right now Jesse's mother wasn't much older than Jesse was. She was a 'looker' too, as Jesse referred to a good looking female.

Later in the day, Jesse thanked Cameron again for everything she did for her, both of 'them', and her family. She reaffirmed her undying devotion to Cameron and John. She was willing to be with John and at his side with Cameron. She was willing to share any children she could have with Cameron. It was never really something she considered before. She figured her mother could produce, or carry, a child for her too.

Jesse told them about an incident which occurred with Young Jesse and herself when they were bonding. The family invited her to use their hot tub. She said she didn't have anything to wear for one. She joked she could go in the buff. Her mother let her borrow a bikini. She noted it was her mother's skimpiest one. Everything on her was on full display.

Jesse said she wasn't thinking and made a mistake. She forgot about her scar. She was so used to it, she seldom thought of it. She remembered when she saw Young Jesse stare at it. It was clear it bothered her. She quickly put her hand over her scar. She didn't think she ever did it before. It was part of who she was now. It was a reminder to all that went on before. She never wanted Young Jesse to suffer what she did at the hands of others. The mark was meant for her face by a Scavenger Bitch. She was really upset with herself. She didn't want Young Jesse to remember her in such a way.

Gail wondered how Jesse could get the visual out of Young Jesse's mind.

"What did you do?" Gail asked.

Jesse smiled as she thought of it. She liked people to see her naked body, well, most of it. She liked how she looked and she liked an audience when she shared sex, when she was a willing participant. She was aware how to get someone's attention.

"When I was ready to get out of the hot tub, I loosened my top so it would slip off." Jesse said. "When I stood up, my top fell off. She got to see my nipple rings. I saw her eyes widen with the view. It's what she'll remember about me now. I could tell they excited her. I didn't tell her that her norks were already bigger than mine at her age. She's been blessed with a better diet. It took me a while to 'bloom' living on scraps. I hope she can be larger than me."

Malnutrition was a major problem in Jesse's future. It prevented many girls from developing properly. A common problem was the inability to nurse if they were lucky enough to ever have a child, and it lived. Their breasts were normal size or even larger, but they produced very little.

Cameron did a visual scan on Jesse and compared it to her files on Future Jesse. Their breasts were identical as was the shape and build of their bodies. Time should still play out the same way for Young Jesse.

Jesse was very pleased with the way Young Jesse looked. She could see so much beauty in her appearance. She never looked like Young Jesse did when she was her age. She knew it was Skynet's fault. She just tried to stay out of Scavenger camps and put up with the normal abuse on the fringes of the Resistance camps. The living conditions, and clothing, gave Young Jesse a big advantage going forward.

"I know my younger self will be better looking than me." Jesse said.

The last bit of news excited Gail even more than the story.

Cameron already concluded the same thing. It was good news for John. She also knew it would be the same way for Savannah and Young Allison. They would both have healthier bodies than Vanna and Allison. She made sure they ate healthy. She was more than aware all of the younger girls were the future. The best part was, she now found two more girls for John.

Gail thought a little bit about what Jesse said. She could understand how Young Jesse would be excited when she saw Jesse's jewelry. It seemed to excite everyone who saw it, especially when it was right in front of them. The part where she indicated she thought Young Jesse's breasts would be larger than hers bothered her a little bit. She wanted Jesse to know exactly how she felt about the way she looked.

"It was good thinking." Gail said. " I want to say something about your appearance. Your norks are more than fine. They excite me to see them. I could touch them continuously, among other things, I like them so much. I like them most of all because they're yours."

Jesse liked to hear it. Gail didn't have norks, she packed a full blown set of knockers. They were so large, everyone looked at them. One time she wanted to see how they did on a nude beach. She put on her largest set of nipple rings. She felt she drew more second and third looks than Gail did. Gail still drew more initial looks. She liked how many eyes 'came back for more' on her. Once they saw the rings, they all needed to take at least a second look. It appeared size wasn't everything, even if it was.

She was excited about what would happen later on in the day. It would be her chance to officially include Gail and Cameron. She didn't think it would be a problem. She also wanted to see how Young Jesse and her sister responded to both of them.

"We're all having dinner in a fancy restaurant tonight. It rotates at the top of a tall building. They told me it gives a good view of the city. It's the big tower we saw. People know it by about five different names." Jesse said. "I want to introduce my lover and partner, as well as my best friend to them."

Jesse didn't want to say she loved Cameron the most in front of Gail. She believed Cameron knew the truth. It was all that really mattered. She really liked it when she asked Cameron to 'look over' her private parts for any 'problems'. It was never done in a sexual manner. Cameron always did it with a straight face. She was sure Cameron liked to see and touch her in those areas. Cameron always told her everything was the same as last time. She was sure Cameron kept visual records of every encounter.

Cameron didn't want to be a distraction at the dinner. It seemed she always was wherever she went. Everyone always fixated on her. It was as disturbing as it was enjoyable. She couldn't help the way she looked. She just didn't see what the big deal was. She was just like everyone else. Everyone had the same things, even if they looked different. It was just how they were. She was just how she was. She wanted to give Jesse her support, but she wanted the evening to remain about Jesse.

"We'll be there." Cameron said. "Are you sure you want me to come and not just you and Gail? I think it would be best if I stayed in the background. I don't want to be a problem for anyone."

Cameron looked at Gail with the last part of her statement.

Jesse looked a little worried. She really wanted Cameron to share the experience with her. She would talk to Gail about it and calm her fears.

"Yes, I want you there, Cameron." Jesse said. "This all means so much to me. I want both of you to be there."

Cameron anticipated such an event and planned accordingly. She liked to cover all the bases in advance. She always liked to have another card to play. If they were going to a fancy restaurant they needed to look the part.

"I purchased each of us an 'evening dress' for tonight." Cameron said. "All three of us are going to look Tight."

Jesse knew Cameron always thought of everything. She was also pretty sure her mother knew who she really was, but there was no explanation as to how it could be possible. Her mother shared a long look with her and a close hug. Her mother whispered in her ear.

"I know you're my daughter, Jesse. When you're able, please explain it to me…." Jesse's mother said.

Jesse sucked at her breath slightly when her mother spoke. She didn't doubt her for a second.

"You know who I am…." Jesse said. "I can't explain everything now…."

Her mother didn't know any factual way to explain it. She did know some things she viewed in movies and on television. Somehow it seemed like the only explanation, even as impossible as it was.

"It would mean one of us is either in the future, or from the future." Jesse's mother said. "I think we both know which one it is."

Jesse wanted to tell her mother. She knew she shouldn't. She wanted to tell her about what happened to them. She thought they were the lucky ones. She wanted to tell her what happened to her. No. A mother should never know what happened to her daughter in such a way. She decided to play it cool.

"Please, Mum, I can't say." Jesse said. "Nobody can know…."

Jesse's mother touched Jesse's cheek. She ran her hand down the side of Jesse's body.

"You've turned out so beautiful, Jesse…." Jesse's mother said.

Jesse told them the story of how everything played out. She was worried Cameron would be upset at her

Cameron was actually pleased with the news. It meant Jesse's mother would be more likely to 'help', if Jesse encountered a problem with being able to carry a child to term. Then there was always Young Jesse to 'assist' with it as well. Her young teenage body would be in its prime for childbirth. She didn't like the implications of it, but she knew most of the females in her future were sterile or were unable to carry a child to term. She was unsure how the girls from the alternate future would do as time went on. She already planned to use the younger girls to 'help' their older selves if it was necessary. She knew they would do it for her if she asked them. It was a lot to ask a young female to have a child and give it away. Maybe it would be less traumatic if they gave it to 'themselves'. They were the same people after all. It wasn't like it was a stranger, or someone they just knew. It literally would be themselves they gave it to. She didn't want to think about it now, or dwell on it. It already caused her hand to experience a glitch impulse. She hoped none of them noticed.

John Henry and John planned the attack on the Gray. He needed to make sure John was protected. He felt it was a mistake to do all of it behind Cameron's back. Then again, she probably already knew. CamNet would know what they were up to. He thought the upside to it was, if CamNet didn't intervene, the lack of inaction gave him some 'cover'. It wouldn't all be his fault. CamNet was a version of Cameron. Cameron could only blame 'herself'.

John was hot to trot and amped up. He wanted to show Cameron he was able to do things on his own. Sometimes the General needed to lead. He was aware during the Civil War, General Custer used to lead his troops from the front. He couldn't help but think about what happened later on when he was reduced to a Lieutenant Colonel. Maybe it wouldn't be a good analogy to use with Cameron. She would only view the negative aspect of it.

John Henry decided to schedule more Terminators to be with John. He quietly informed him of the additions. It seemed to please John immensely.

John wanted to lay out what the battle plan would be, and how things would play out.

"It will be the same as last time." John said. "Bob and Jim will go straight in the front door."

Bob didn't want John exposed on his own or unattended. He was under the impression only Jim and him would be with John.

"Who will be with you?" Bob asked.

John liked the Metal girls to watch over him. Hanna was elsewhere this time. There were four additional Terminators which would be involved in the operation. They decided to take a pre-emptive measure as part of the operation. It was already in place.

"Ally and Sheila will be with me." John said. "John Henry has Al and Dan on stakeout duty. They're watching for anyone who's watching for us, or waiting for us."

Bob didn't want to step on John's authority, but he needed to point a few things out. He was very aware of what Cameron would want. He figured he at least needed to mention it. If anything turned out bad, he didn't want it to come back on him.

"This can be an all Terminator affair." Bob said. "You don't need to take the risk. We don't know how anything will play out once it starts."

John didn't like the way Cameron babysat him and hamstrung him. He decided to deflect the issue. He forged ahead with the plan.

"Cameron doesn't like surprises and I don't either." John said. "If we detect anyone watching, or trying to attack us, we have a big problem. It should be our biggest concern."

Bob didn't like John taking risks. He would rather wait until Cameron came back and go with her. It could be just the two of them. It was on missions like those where Cameron really shined as her true self. It was where she was, what she was, a Terminator.

"We will manage." Bob said.

He'd done plenty of operations the last few days on his own. He wasn't even sure what some of them were really about. It still bothered him. What Sheila did bothered him as well.

John believed they were more adequately covered this time.

"John Henry has expanded our security perimeter and increased all surveillance around us. He's on the lookout for any temporal incursions." John said. "Somebody is up to something, but we don't know who or what."

Jim thought things were a little convoluted, and an unnecessary risk for John too. It would be simpler to wait until Cameron returned. He wasn't comfortable to actually say it. He would at least try to imply it.

"When will Cameron be back?" Jim asked.

John looked disgusted and shrugged his shoulders. He didn't want Cameron breathing down his neck on any operation. It was why he was so adamant about going on the current one. He wanted her out of his hair and out of his way. Cameron hadn't provided him with much information other than where she was going and who was going with her. It made him wonder why she asked him to go. He figured it was probably so he couldn't do what he was about to do right now. She would rather keep him under her thumb so she could continue to control him. Right now he didn't have a controller. He was glad he was going to pull one off under her nose. Well it wasn't exactly under her nose, she wasn't there. He would show her.

"I have absolutely no idea." John said. "She does whatever she wants. I'm just glad she isn't trying to escape into the future, or pull any suicide stunts. I know she's expanded beyond all of this, and what we're doing."

Jim asked what they all wondered.

"Will Cameron become Skynet?" Jim asked.

It was the 'million dollar' question.

John didn't really even need to think about the answer.

"If she ever did, that's it, man." John said. "Game Over."

With her own base and CamNet, she was probably most of the way there. He wondered if he would 'set her off' one day and start the whole thing in motion. It would probably be something similar. If it were the case, then the whole thing would be his fault. He, as Future John, sent her back from the future .Then he 'made' her become Skynet in the past, the present. What a legacy. He really didn't believe there was any way to control any of it. He really didn't know if they should. Whatever was going to happen, was going to happen.

Cameron and the girls went out. All three of them turned heads and then turned them again as they passed. They looked stunning.

Jesse was Tight like she never was before. Cameron worked extra hard on her until she was as Tight as her. She instructed Gail in detail as she did everything.

Cameron noticed the way Young Jesse would look at Gail and her, especially her. Opportunity knocked there for the future and for John. She wanted him protected. She turned on the charm and gave Young Jesse all she could deliver in full infiltration mode. She didn't think boys would be a problem for Young Jesse again, and Jesse would be happy.

Jesse and Gail both noticed it all. It was clear how anyone could fall for Cameron in a relatively short amount of time. She was just like a schoolgirl. They figured it was exactly the same way Cameron laid it on for John when she first made contact with him. What they didn't know is it wasn't even close. John only received a small sample of what Cameron laid on Young Jesse.

Gail felt a little jealous. Jesse was totally turned on watching it all. Cameron 'hit' on Young Jesse. Jesse was just as drawn in. It wasn't even directed at Jesse. It all made her feel even more jealous. She needed to remind herself Cameron was untouchable by anyone but John.

At this point Jesse really wished she was Duplicate Jesse in River's future with Duplicate Cameron and River. It most likely was the best place to be, to have a shot at 'Cameron'. She really wondered how Duplicate Jesse played her cards in River's future.

Cameron was very happy she did everything which was happening. As soon as she developed the resources on her own to make it all happen, she did. She only wished she could have done it all sooner. She probably should have pushed Jesse a little sooner, or at least hinted about her family. She didn't want to dwell on it. It was what it was. It was pretty good too.

They didn't want to overstay their welcome. They also wanted to avoid too many questions. The longer they were there, the more everyone would know Jesse and Young Jesse were the same individual. There would be too many questions, with no believable explanation. Too much about the future would need to be revealed. They didn't want to be in a position where they started to need to lie to them. They would spend one more day and then return.

Cameron decided John and her needed to get away from it all. She knew she was drifting away from John. She didn't want to end up like Vanna and Allison. She thought it happens so slowly and then you realize you're not 'one' anymore. 'Less than one', plus 'less than one', equals less than nothing.

She needed to remind herself her primary function was to protect John and turn him into the future leader who would smash Skynet. It was her function to protect the future. If she was supposed to have been married, Future John would have included it in the mission, he hadn't. It was a major mistake on her part. She attempted to rectify the misstep multiple times. It always seemed to produce a negative reaction from John. She really didn't see what the big deal was. He could still have sex with her every now and then, but the human girls needed to be his main focus.

She knew they didn't always like the way she did things, but she did everything for John. She was upset at herself for being selfish and wanting John as a lover and a husband. It was outside her mission parameters. She was upset she overstepped and was so greedy. It just happened, and she did nothing to stop it. If John hadn't tried to replace her with Riley, it would have happened a lot sooner. A lot of things would have.

She would have provided John with sexual comfort if he 'asked' her for it. It would have been by his actions, or even verbally. She made herself 'available' to him on multiple occasions. It was in her programming to be fully functional as a human female for all things sex related. She was sure Future John made extensive use of the feature. He erased much of her life and all of it was lost forever. She never liked being referred to as 'Connor's Metal Whore'. There was probably something behind it. It made her wonder what her first sexual experience was like. It was erased too. Maybe nothing happened, maybe it did. The trouble was, she just didn't know. She was sure not knowing was worse than knowing. It left everything open to speculation and questions.

Cameron wondered what the mission was anymore. They changed so many things, and kept Skynet from taking control. She wondered what the future was as well, or if it even still existed. She really wondered about Duplicate Cameron and Mrs. Weaver 'In Some Future'.

Cameron just 'knew' they needed her help. How could she ever reach them? Why didn't any of them ever return? Whatever happened to Mrs. Weaver? She needed a way to find all of the answers.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

That's It Man

When things go bad
It can always get worse
It does little good
To shout and cruse

Will things ever get better
It's difficult to say
There's always an enigma
With each new passing day

Everyone can always try harder
No one can stay the course
Those who don't help out
Are soon filled with remorse

There's always a solution
With the right answer
To shun what's right
Infects like a cancer

Life's game gets played anyway
Follow the herd or be a drover
When reality is accepted everyone knows
That's it man - Game Over

Nobody
