This is a one-shot from Daryl's POV on Beth. It is brief but emotional, and chocked full of angst. I couldn't get this one out of my head, and simply had to post. :) Rated Teen and up for language, and brief references to adult themes.

In this story the plot of The Walking Dead takes a different turn by the end of the second season and shows to me a more credible outcome of the conflict between Rick and Shane. Since I am a great fan of the series I have re-watched the series a lot and I feel that from the third season and onward the drama became too simple. In a way by killing Shane the series killed itself.
