Ready For Everything

Cameron Prime Timeline:

Events Pick up From Chapter 330

Recent developments at the Resistance base proved to be of a very negative nature for Vanna previously, and now Jesse. Both of them were pregnant before. Now they weren't.

Vanna held Jesse as she tried to comfort her.

Jesse cried uncontrollably. Vanna and Gail cried with her as did Cameron.

Cameron knew it was bad news. She already knew Savannah and Young Jesse were 'backups' for Vanna and Jesse. As Camille, her clone, she would groom Young Jesse as she did with Savannah. Young Jesse would know her role in the future and her importance to her.

Claire was now the back up for Allison, one way or the other. It could be either directly, or as a surrogate. She didn't want to wait the few extra years Young Allison would still need. The future couldn't wait. She was NOT going to wait until Judgment Day. She was tired of people NOT listening to her. She knew Claire and the two young teenagers would assist her. They loved her and they would prove it, all three of them.

Judgment Day was coming. It was Cameron's biggest fear. When the event happened, she would lose John. She needed to step aside to protect him. It was inevitable. She was determined to make sure he would have everything he needed before then. John would have all the things he programmed her to provide him with,. Well, what Future John programmed her do to for John.

Cameron cried a little harder and her hand glitched. She wished Savannah was there to comfort her. Nobody could comfort her as Savannah could. John only seemed to make it 'worse'.

She didn't really know why. She needed to return to her base. She quietly slipped out.

John was with John Henry and Bob in the Command Center. He wanted some action.

"I want targets, Skynet, Skyshield, or Skyscan, I don't care." John said. "We need to keep hitting them, harder."

Bob wanted it too. He was ready for action. Skynet wasn't the only problem. There was another issue which is just a serious for both Cameron and John.

"What about the anti-Metal faction?" Bob asked.

It was a 'problem' for John even if it was just as deadly of a threat. The very nature of the problem, was a problem in itself.

"We'll let Cameron deal with it." John said. "She will terminate any threat to me she can find, or any threat to the future. I don't like killing humans, especially from the Resistance. If they're a threat to Cameron or you, I'll let her eradicate the problem."

John Henry was unsure why John didn't understand the true nature of the threat. It was a very serious one. It could result in his termination.

"They are as big of a threat to you." John Henry said. "They were going to assassinate you in the future."

John Henry was aware of what Cameron 'did' with the girls, and the two recent 'failures'. He knew he needed to talk with Savannah before she did anything drastic. He wanted to remind Savannah her body belonged to her, not Cameron. With her recent actions, Cameron bypassed John. John didn't have any idea what was happening behind his back with his genetic material. He wasn't about to be the one to tell John either. It was sure to create an anger laced problem. Cameron needed to do it. She needed to own up to her actions. She was the one who created the problems.

"…John Henry…?" John asked.

John Henry knew he needed to get his head back in the game. He quickly reviewed his files and answered John's question.

John wanted action. The more things he could take care of himself, the less Cameron would need to do.

"Any target you can identify, I want to hit it." John said.

Bob was ready himself, but figured a team would be better. He didn't want anyone to get wrapped up in an operation which could end up over their head in a matter of seconds. He already set things in motion to prevent it from happening.

"I'll have a team of Terminators ready." Bob said.

John Henry was worried John was about to push things too fast needlessly. Nothing was imminent, so there was no need to act immediately. Any threat he uncovered would still be there going forward. If anything did need some type of attention, it could be dealt with accordingly. He didn't think John should try to bypass Cameron. He tried to be diplomatic about it.

"Are you going to notify Cameron first?" John Henry asked.

John didn't like how Cameron restricted him. She was always too worried about his safety. He knew how to take care of himself. If it wasn't for Cameron always holding him back, he would have a lot more experience in the field. He wanted to be ready for the future. There was no guarantee Cameron would always be there to do everything for him. He wasn't the only one who wanted to take a more active role.

"No, she'll only go in my place." John said. "Kyle and Derek want to do more as well. They want to protect their families. They don't want to wait for Judgment Day and have to pick up the pieces or bury the bodies."

Savannah walked into the room, Sheila was with her. She heard some of the conversation as she passed by. She was ready for more. She wanted to play a bigger part in the operations. She wanted to share the workload Cameron faced. If she did more, Cameron could do less.

"I want to do my part as well." Savannah said. "I'm stepping up."

John noticed her skimpy outfit. He liked what he could see. It was a lot. The full impact of her words were lost on him currently. He was visually stimulated by the way she looked. Savannah's appearance wasn't the only thing which distracted him. The breast with the nipple ring which was mostly visible on Sheila, didn't help his concentration any. He finally moved his eyes away from Sheila's top and looked at Savannah.

"Hello, Savannah." John said.

Savannah noticed John notice her. She smiled. Cameron scored again. She could see his hungry eyes take all of her in. It was what Cameron told her would happen. It was pleasant, even if somewhat disturbing. It was her destiny so it didn't really matter. It was all going to happen sooner or later. She preferred it would be sooner. She at least wanted to try it to see what it was like. Cameron told her she could take a step back if she was uncomfortable with the 'procedure'. She wanted John to take her seriously as to her part in the Resistance.

"I've been trained by Sarah and Cameron." Savannah said. "I'm ready to do my part NOW."

John knew what the training was his mother would provide Savannah with. He didn't have a problem with it. He was a little more worried about ALL the 'training' Cameron provided her with. He was aware Cameron 'pushed' Savannah in the direction she wanted Savannah to go. The direction was straight to HIM. He didn't see the need for Savannah to do any more than she currently did.

"I don't know about it." John said. "Maybe it's not the time."

Savannah was very dissatisfied with his answer.

'When is the time?' Savannah wondered.

It always seemed to be the same answer whenever the subject came up. She wasn't 'too young' any longer. She was already past 'fighting age' 'in the future', several years ago. The longer John held her back, the less experience she could obtain. It would hinder her going forward to be less prepared.

"I know I'm a Resistance fighter in the future." Savannah said. "I'm not a girl anymore."

Savannah straightened her frame up to make all her female attributes more prominent. She was clearly much more than even a 'young lady'.

John didn't need her to point it out. It was quite evident she matured quickly. He really hoped Cameron hadn't given her hormones. He wouldn't put it past her. He wouldn't be surprised to find out Cameron administered both growth and female hormones to Savannah. It all seemed to happen so fast. How many years were they doing this already? It seemed like forever. Maybe it was just the years since they started it all. It was quite a few years since he carried Savannah away from her home and her surroundings. Life still went on.

He needed to choose his words carefully. The wrong words could prompt 'action' for her to 'prove' her point.

"No, Savannah, you're not a girl anymore, but you're not an adult yet either." John said.

Savannah disagreed with him in all regards. She believed his statement was a matter of opinion. She knew the future, she knew her future.

"In Vanna's future I was at this age." Savannah said. "I'm taking my place. I know where I belong and what my destiny is. You don't want Cameron to hold you back. I don't want you to hold me back either. Think about it and tell me what's different."

John just shook his head. Cameron was to blame for 'THIS'. Maybe it was time for Savannah to grow a little. If Judgment Day arrived, she needed to be ready.

"We'll see. Maybe we can work in some recon operations, Savannah. I don't want you rushed into combat." John said. "It may come soon enough if we can't keep Skynet contained."

Savannah looked at John as she rotated slightly from side to side.

"I'm ready. I'm ready for EVERYTHING." Savannah said.

Savannah and John held each other's gaze. They both understood what was really just said.

John Henry wasn't sure speaking to Savannah at this point was going to help her, let alone stop her. Cameron seemed to have total control of her. Savannah literally sat on a 'cherry bomb' and it was going to go off sooner rather than later, one way or another.

John and Bob looked at each other. The future was coming no matter what they did.

The future stood there before them, they all knew it.

Savannah looked each one of them straight in the face. She knew it too.

She knew her destiny and she wasn't about to back away from it. She planned to take what was hers.

Cameron was on her way back to her base. She decided she could take a detour or two on the way there. There were plenty of things which needed to be accomplished or taken care of. Things didn't get done thinking about them. It was one of the reasons why she attempted to have a clone at times. If there were two of her, she could get twice as much done in the same amount of time. It could also free her up to spend more time with John. Currently, she couldn't do everything in any type of satisfactory manner. It was all very dissatisfying to her on multiple levels. Whenever she did create a clone, there was always a problem. It always led to the clones' termination on her part. She couldn't get along with herself. No wonder everyone despised her. It was her feeling anyway.

Some of the other Terminators took care of a few things for her earlier. It always seemed to uncover some more. Instead of less work, there ended up to be even more work. The future Scavenger problem was as big of an issue to her as was Skynet, Grays and the anti-Metal faction. They were all a threat to the future.

There was a lead on a future Gray, another on the latest sex trafficking operation, and some illegal drugs. She updated with CamNet to see if there was anything new since she left the Resistance base. She was informed Savannah was in the Command Center. She would find out a little more about it later on. She wanted John to embrace his future. She knew Savannah was ready to 'step up' and perform all her future duties. It was clear Savannah was ready for everything. She really wondered if Savannah was the only one she would be able to count on going forward. No. Claire was ready to assist her in every way. It pleased her immensely to know it. Claire was ready for everything as well.

Cameron drove by a bakery. It seemed absurd to her. The information was a future Gray employed there. She went around the block and headed for their apartment. It seemed like a good idea to see what she could find before the police got involved once he was terminated. If there were any clues to be found out about the future, she should be the one to find them. She would be able to recognize them for what they were. The authorities wouldn't have a clue.

She drove past the apartment. Right away she detected danger. There was someone else watching the apartment. She didn't know if it was the anti-Metal group, or other Grays. It was trouble whatever it was.

Cameron parked two streets over and went through a large apartment complex. She passed by the pool. There was a teenage male and female in the pool. She was pretty sure they were attempting to do something else. The exploring couple didn't seem to notice her. She felt sorry for them. Sexual activity in the water produced less than satisfactory results. It was just the opposite of what one would think. She tried it a few times with John. She jumped the fence in the back.

She landed in the carport of the next apartment.

She heard some scuffing sounds. She paused where she was and crouched down and looked around. There were two young men going from car to car. They tried the car doors and even tried to force down a few windows. People who left their windows down an inch or so to cool the car, only made it easier for someone to force down the window to gain access to their car. It was what she watched happen now. She could easily hear them converse.

"There's a laptop in this one on the floor behind the driver's seat." The first man said.

The other man pushed the window down another inch.

"Help me push on the window." The second man said.

Both men forced the window down and reached inside to unlock the door.

Cameron stood up and walked towards the two young men. They didn't see her approach.

The first man reached inside the open door.

Cameron didn't like petty criminals. It would be a gateway into more serious crimes. After Judgment Day the individuals would probably end up as Scavengers if they continued their current lifestyle.

"Step away from the vehicle." Cameron said.

Both men jumped. They relaxed a little when they realized it was a female.

They didn't see Cameron as a threat.

"Who are you?" The second man asked.

Cameron continued walking towards them.

"I'm 'Justice'." Cameron said.

The first man looked at the second man and laughed.

"That's a stupid name." The first man said. "I guess your parents didn't like you."

The first man reached for the laptop.

Cameron didn't care for the man's insult and rebuke. It was going to take a little more corrective action for him to take her seriously. After the rude comments, it was exactly what she planned to administer.

"If you pick it up, you will never pick anything up again with that hand, or what will be left of it." Cameron said.

Both men laughed.

"You're pretty hot for a dumb Bitch." The first man said. "Then again it's par for the course."

Both men laughed harder.

The second man pulled out a knife.

"I think we're going to get a little more right now too." The second man said. "You'll be our second today."

Both men laughed even harder.

The first man came out of the rear seat with the laptop in his right hand.

Cameron grabbed the man with the knife and snapped his neck. The man with the laptop dropped it back in the car in fright. He tried to shout but she grabbed his neck and prevented him from screaming. He struggled wildly. He tried to produce a knife. It was in the same hand he picked up the laptop.

She grabbed his hand and squeezed. She felt the bones break. She continued to squeeze until her hand was completely closed. The man passed out. When she released his hand, it was nothing but bloody pulp and splintered bone fragments. Two crushed fingers fell off and landed on the ground along with the knife.

Cameron grasped the rear wheel of the car. She lifted the car and tire off of the ground. She pushed the two detached crushed fingers underneath the tire and moved his pulped hand under it as well. She set the tire and car back down on top of it. She stretched his body out. She wanted to try to cover up exactly what occurred and what happened to his hand. The fact it was under the tire would explain its condition. As to how it actually got there would be left up to speculation. She ripped the shirt off of the man with the snapped neck. She gagged the man with the crushed hand so no sound could escape his mouth. There was a sixty seven percent chance he would suffocate because the gag was so secure. If she tied a further restriction around his nose, it would increased the chance of suffocation to ninety two percent. He would know what was done to him before he perished.

The knife was on the ground in reach of him. If he chose to sever his own hand to escape, it was up to him. One handed criminals didn't tend to do well. Someone with only one hand in the Wastelands wouldn't last very long after Judgment Day. She warned him what would happen. He was the one who chose his own fate.

Cameron tossed the man with the snapped neck in the bushes by the fence she came over. She didn't think it would be found anytime soon. She was sure it would be a feral animal of some type which would discover it first. There was no reason it couldn't get a few meals out of it, or feed its young from it. She moved through the apartment's rear entrance. She dipped her hand in the pool to get the blood off. She continued through the apartment complex and crossed a street. She did the same thing with the apartment and went over the rear wall. She ended up in the rear of the apartment where the suspected Gray lived.

She lifted the sliding door up out of its track to open it, then placed it back in the track. She went inside the apartment.

Cameron searched the apartment and found nothing of value. She knew where the man was at and where he lived. She would come back and pay him a visit later on for a more personal conversation.

She went out on the street and was going to place a tracker on the car she suspected of watching the apartment. It was gone. She previously took an image of the license plate. She was sure it would come back as being stolen. Then again it might not.

She went back the way she came.

The man's pulped hand was still under the tire. She could see the man's arm was free. it ended at the wrist. It appeared it was torn off as the man struggled to get free. She wasn't sure if he bled to death, or suffocated in his panic. She picked up the knife off of the ground. She could see there was blood on it. Evidently the man did attempt to free himself with it. She grabbed his body and picked it up. She threw him in the bushes on top of the other man. There was no reason the feral animals should go hungry. They should be pleased with a reliable and sustainable source of nourishment for some time.

She decided to go back the same way she came. She went over the fence. The teenage female was crying. The teenage male tried to console her. It was unclear what happened. She could only speculate. She passed by them. They still didn't appear to notice her. She went back to her SUV and continued on to her base. She would follow up later on with the things she didn't get done. She might send others to do them as well. There was always so much to do.

Cameron returned to her facility. The anti-Metal leader revealed all he knew. His body was disposed of along with the future female Gray. The area was thoroughly cleaned. Everything was back to normal.

The information gleaned was the anti-Metal group was from Cameron's future. They were there for some time. They arrived long after Future Jesse and Future Riley. They didn't know of either one. It was a separate group of anti-Metal operatives. There were multiple factions.

Camille pressed him hard during the interrogation on Future Jesse and the status of Future John, Future Savannah, and Future Allison. It was still unknown if they produced any children. It didn't appear so from the information. With the recent developments involving Vanna and Jesse, the news was very troubling. It was possible they couldn't have children.

There was some positive news to glean from it. With Future Allison back at his side, along with Future Savannah, and no Terminators close to Future John, he no longer was a target. She was a little concerned with Future Savannah and Future Allison involved in combat operations.

Cameron apparently saved Future John's life by having Future Allison and Future Savannah at his side and in his bed. There was vague talk of 'Cameron' being around as well, but in the background most of the time. She wasn't sure about it and what it meant. It could be her, or River, or either Duplicate Cameron. It could even be some other clone of her. Whatever it was, it was only a rumor. She didn't like it. She sure hoped it wasn't Mrs. Weaver masquerading as her. Without knowing where Mrs. Weaver was at, there was no way to know. Now she was worried about the other Duplicate Cameron and Duplicate girls.

Summer was Resequenced with Allison's DNA to become Cammy. It would still take some time for the sheath to assume its new appearance. Camille was almost ready. Gail's program would be loaded in with her program and Camille's mission could soon start. She updated with both of the female and male clones of herself at her base.

Cameron was unsure if Jesse should accompany her and Camille back to Australia. She knew Jesse was as tough as nails when she needed to be. She wanted to tell Young Jesse the truth about the future. Jesse wasn't in any condition for anything right now. Camille wasn't yet completely ready anyway. She hadn't fully assumed Allison's appearance, her appearance.

She obtained the information she needed on the anti-Metal faction and her team was going to end the threat to John once and for all. There was no further information on Future Jesse. She was unsure what to do if she encountered Future Jesse. She didn't want to have to terminate her if it was possible. It wasn't likely she was still alive anyway. The thought did bother her a great deal. Future Jesse was still 'Jesse'. She hoped Future Jesse was still alive. She would welcome the challenge to have her redeem herself. She would give her a second chance. It would be very difficult to put her hand around future Jesse's throat and squeeze the life out of her after dealing with Jesse, Duplicate Jesse, and Young Jesse. They were all the same individual even if their experiences were different.

If she were ever able to capture Future Jesse, she would attempt to have both Jesse and Young Jesse speak with her. She didn't think it would be a good idea to have her interact with Sheila. It might give her negative reinforcement of her positions. She wasn't sure where she could keep her either. It wasn't something she needed to think about right now. There were more important issues to deal with.

Cameron notified John Henry they were going to take care of business and terminate the anti-Metal threat. John Henry also notified her John, Derek, and Kyle were doing recon missions and Savannah was going with them.

She didn't like the new development at all. She insisted John Henry make sure Savannah was with John's team, Bob was with John, and John Henry personally accompanied Savannah. She then told him she would send someone else instead.

John Henry wanted to know who it was based upon her statement.

"Who?" John Henry asked.

Cameron didn't see the need to get specific.

"Myself." Cameron said.

Cameron wasn't taking any chances with Savannah. She would also be able to evaluate Savannah's performance in the field under real conditions. Savannah excelled and was flawless in all simulations.

John Henry was worried Cameron, or some version of her, might take things too far.

"I'll go as well." John Henry said.

Cameron felt she already covered the situation.

"It's unnecessary." Cameron said.

John Henry could see some deeper implications, even if Cameron didn't.

"You can tell it to OUR mother, if something happens to Savannah." John Henry said.

Cameron didn't want any unnecessary trouble. Everything always seemed to be so complicated.

"I'll meet you soon." Cameron said.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Ready For Anything

A new dawn
Is a new day
As one negotiates
Life's changing buffet

There are many obstacles
Which may appear and arise
The ones that need to be feared
Are the ones that arrive in disguise

Who shuffles the deck
Handing out the cards of life
Will the rewards be rife
Or laced with anguish and strife

Does anyone really
Have what it takes
Or are they all just fakes
Who really controls the stakes

In the smorgasbord of life
Everyone has something to bring
Because nothing is constant and changes
Nobody is really ready for everything

Nobody
