The world is dead. Survivors will try to scavenge anything from foods to guns. Genesis Marie Wilson, ex-Army soldier, in a lone soldier trying to survive each passing day until she stumbled upon a police officer named Rick Grimes. Together, they find his wife and son and protect the group from mercenaries and thieves and especially the undead, or the Walkers as he called them.

When Rick goes mysteriously missing, can a strange girl in the woods help Carl find his father? And when Carl starts to develop feelings for her, will he be able to reach past her stony silence and make her see that the world isn't what it seems?
