The time is here, the time is now and... Time to see if this is going to work, will the cleansing be initiated or will it be canceled and this will also be a farewell from someone whom I.M.P has made good friends with, someone whom they see as their family, and friend. Let's head to the Hazbin Hotel and see how many sinners have finished their trials, and tasks and if they are worth ascension. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter folks!

"Cleansing or Redemption."
(October 26. The I.M.P Headquarters.)
The sky is cracking and showing signs of light, and everyone within this land of the damned and sins are locked, loaded and prepared for what is to come, some are afraid of what is to come, mostly afraid of what will happen, the cleansing is here once again, and a day early too.
The news team of 666 News are getting ready to cover the story of what could be another cleansing, they wanna get the big scoop and look forward to another failed attempt from the Hazbin Hotel, but they might be wrong this time.
Alright, let's move away from there and head to the neighboring place known as Imp City, and towards I.M.P Headquarters and someone is packing her last bag, and she makes sure she has everything she owns, which she might not need when the time comes, and who is she? Delilah Silver. The sinner, book keeper and receptionist to I.M.P, she then looks out the window and sees the chaos unfolding.
'This is it, the time has come.' Delilah then opens the door to her room, and she goes down using the elevator and when she arrives to the lobby, she smiles when she sees the others. Lincoln, Luna, Loona, Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Lucy and EveLynn, and they all go over, and they help her with the other bags. "Hey guys, this is it, huh?"
They all then come over and share a group hug, and Delilah has tears in her eyes, and she hugs them back. "This is the hardest thing for me, but I have to go and seek my path to be redeemed..."
"And pass on to the new life" replied Lincoln, they all depart from the hug and look to Delilah. "You have been a very good friend, and member to this family. We're happy to have met you and given you the task of what truly gave you purpose, and we're gonna miss you."
"You did an awesome job, and we're proud of how far you've come, but this is not the goodbye forever yet. You're still gonna be in the hotel, and we can always come by and see you again" replied Luna.
Loona speaks. "And from what we heard from Charlie, you and your friends can still go and see and visit your parents back on earth, another way to spend time and redeem the past sins from before."
"You're a good book keeper kid" replied Blitzo with a smirk. "And you're damn fucking good at keeping track of the kills and other bullshit we do, we respect that and we respect you."
"You know how to handle paperwork well, and you know when to sort out everything that we have done" replied Moxxie. "I am proud at the amazing work you have done for this company."
"We couldn't be who we are and what we do if we had never met ya, kid" replied Millie. "It is a dang shame that you're not gonna be here anymore, but we all understand and accept your choice."
"We are always a call way if you wanna talk to us, we're your friends after all" replied Lucy.
"You're a team player, Delilah and even though you don't come with us much to kill, we're always rooting for you and that I.M.P is not just about the assassins" replied EveLynn.
This makes Delilah happy, and touched and she goes over and hugs them all again, and they too return the hug, and are glad for what Delilah is going to do, they then depart from the hug and head for the Hazbin Hotel, then Delilah asks. "So, whose gonna be the new staff member here and when is she getting here?"
(Hazbin Hotel, Pride Ring.)
The hotel is looking lively, and everyone is preparing for what could be their ascension to the heavens and being one with the lord almighty and be with one of the angels, and the one who seems more thrilled is Charlie, and she seems super excited, and a little bit different, and so do the rest of the staff.
Charlie. Her pupils are red, her sclera is light yellow, and she has thick black eyelashes, both top and bottom. She accessorizes with a small black bowtie and black suspenders, with an untucked white, long-sleeved dress-shirt. Over this she usually wears a fitted red tuxedo jacket with dark-red lapels and a pair of red fitted pants. She wears black and white saddle shoes.
Vaggie. Her hair is white and has a jagged, moth-like shape to the cut, with gray-lavender stripes at the ends. She wears a large, ragged dark reddish-pink bow with two long tails on the back of her head, which reacts along with her moods. She wears a dark pink blouse with a dark slate-gray peter-pan style collar, scalloped trim to the sleeves, and two buttons down the front. Her choker and skirt are the same dark slate-gray. Vaggie accessorizes with long slate-gray fingerless gloves and long stockings, which are scalloped with white at the tops and the tips of the toes.
Niffty. She has short pink hair with a yellow highlight. Her teeth are sharp and light yellow, and she has small pink dots at each corners of her mouth, evocative of dimples. Her attire is that of a red 1950's maid dress and a white apron over it with three dripping splotches. She wears a dark red neckerchief. She has small, pointed limbs with her arms being black and her legs colored dark red.
Husk is still the same, and he gets out from the bar and then he walks up the stairs, he doesn't wanna be down here when the angels show up, and we also see the crew of I.M.P show up, and they can see how everyone is excited and ready for this, and Delilah has her things and she sees everything already getting ready, but she keeps an eye out for someone, and she sees her. "Hope!" She also sees two others. "Regina, and Chastity!"
Delilah embraces her friends, and they hug her back. "So glad to see you girls, and I am so happy to be here and spend time with you girls on our road to redemption."
Hope then speaks. "Actually, the three of us. Delilah, I am not set to be redeemed yet."
Delilah is surprised to hear this. "Wait, what? Why?"
Vaggie then explains. "Hope hasn't been doing the road to redemption tasks, all she has been doing was help out around the hotel and see what needs fixing. She has been a staff member instead, and she told us that she would rather wait for you to come, so you all can redeem together."
Vortex walks by and chuckles. "Kid's got loyalty, I'll give ya that."
Delilah looks to Hope and she smiles. She then hugs her, and hope returns the embrace, and then Regina and Chastity join in, and they feel that they are truly united, and friends. Now they can spend time together and help each other on the road to be redeemed.
Lincoln and the others also see Lori and Leni are helping out, and even spot Lucifer at the top of the stairs, and watching everyone be ready for what is to come, and it is obvious that Alastor and Lady G are in their room, avoiding this. But Lucifer is here, to bear witness at what is about to happen. They also see some sinners, whom they knew as their clients, looks like they have passed their road to redemption, and the sinner count is 39 who are redeemed.
Then Charlie looks to the many sinners who are getting redeemed. "Hello, and... Well, this is happening. I am glad that all of you have come this far, and are ready for the path to redemption, a path to ascend and be at peace, and move on. You all have done an amazing an fantastic job, and this has got to be the very first time we're seeing more redeemed sinners than what happened last year, and I am so proud at what you all have accomplished, thank you all and we will miss you."
Everyone claps hearing this, and they too are going to miss the friends they have made, and the fun times they had as they all sought out redemption, just then a loud crackling can be heard, and so they all head outside, and so does Lucifer, and then they see them, the angels.
They look the same from last year, and led by Eliza, but she is not alone. Lucifer sees an archangel with them whom he knows. "Michael."
The angel sees the lord of hell. "Brother, it has been too long."
"Too long indeed." Lucifer grins, but they all know that he is super pissed off to see Michael again, the last time they met... Was long ago and he does not wish to speak of it, ever. Lucifer and Michael look at each other, and then Lucifer backs away from this, since this business is not his to deal with.
Charlie then goes over to Eliza. "Here they are, the 39 sinners redeemed, and they have done an amazing job with their path to undo their sin, they have shared stories of good times and regret all they have done, and all they seek is a new path, and a chance to have their sins removed, and their road to become something more than what they were when they have made mistakes back when they were alive, and I am proud of what they have accomplished."
Eliza sees this and she is surprised. "The Hazbin Hotel has done an exemplary job, and I am more proud of what you have done to show that this hotel, is worth keeping around. These sinners, will change and take their new path, a path away from damnation. A path to ascension." this makes the sinners happy, they are going to leave this land, and pass onto another.
Eliza then looks to Michael and she nods, and so Michael approaches the sinners. "Redemption, is now yours." He slams his sword to the ground and a bright light is made, they all look up and energy comes down and they all watch as the sinners have changed their forms, and have regained their human selves, but with angelic wings, and they look happy. "Now, ascend and be one with the lord."
The others are baffled and surprised by this, and Blitzo takes a photo, but then an angel looks to him and he groans. "Fine, I'll delete it." Everyone is still awe struck and Charlie is amazed to witness her sinners have changed, and are now headed to a better place. All of the folks from Pride Ring see this, and are surprised, and shocked and the crew from 666 News knows one thing... There will be no cleansing this year, and this angers Katie Crest.
Why? It means the news will want an interview with Charlie, and she legit hates her to the core. Today, the Hazbin Hotel has won.
Lucifer is more surprised, he didn't see this coming and to see sinners become angels, it gives him a glimmer of hope, that these sinners, the next sinners can ascent next year as well, and deep down, Lucifer feels enlightened, happy and proud.
They watch as the angels are gone, and the light is no more. Eliza then speaks. "The cleansing is no more, and we shall return when next year comes. Charlotte Magne Morningstar, you truly have shown that many sinners can be redeemed, and changed and become something more. We are all proud of you."
Michael looks towards Lucifer. "As you should be, brother."
Lucifer smirks. "Yes, I am." He then sighs. "Take care dear brother, and give my regards to the big guy."
Michael nods, and he takes to the skies with the other angels, and they leave the lands of hell, and return to the heavens. Lucifer sighs, and then he looks to the others. "What are we wall waiting for? More sinners will come here soon, and what they will seek is redemption, best we prepare for them."
This makes Charlie happy to hear her father is alright with it, and so they head back inside, and Delilah looks back and she waves to the crew of I.M.P, and they wave back and then they watch as they're friend, they're team mate, and staff member is now headed into the Hazbin Hotel, but they will see her again, because she will still be here, as she goes through her road to redemption.
(Later in the day. The I.M.P Headquarters)
We return back here, and the crew are headed to the main door, but then they see that someone is there, and that someone is their new receptionist and keeper of the I.M.P Grimoire, she has her bags and other stuff. "Hi, everyone. I think you all remember who I am, right?"
Laila.
She is a sinner, and she comes in the form of a lamb. She is wearing a grey sweater, and black pants and no shoes. Her reasons to be in hell, unknown. She actually did have an encounter with Alastor the Radio Demon once, well he saved her sinner life.
Blitzo then goes over and he speaks to her. "You're the sinner that we hired to take our former employees place, welcome to I.M.P. Let's get you accommodated to your room, and take note Velvet will once in a while come and check on the tower, and when she gets bored, have a conversation with her."
Laila is surprised to hear this and she nervously nods. "Yeah, okay. Also, I should tell you guys this, but someone left this letter here when I arrived." Laila then hands them the note, and they go over and read what it says.
Client: Maria Antigua Chichi Rosemary Lambada the Third.
A 24 year old shotacon, she is the eldest daughter of a rich South American plantation owner, she is a very kind girl but a bit naïve and too trusting of strangers. During one evening last year at a Halloween family reunion, she went out for a walk with her nine year old cousin Papito, to have a "Fun Time" but then they were attacked by a drunkard, her cousin ran off to get help, but by the time they arrived, Maria was beaten to death and the assailant nowhere to be found.
Target: Marcus Flintshire Jr.
A 27 year old man born to millionaire parents, he has a twin brother named Montgomery, and they do not get along.Marcus took every opportunity to bully and humiliate his brother, no matter how many times his parents told him off, he kept at it until one day he went too far. He had a fight with his brother, and his brother fought back for the first time and he was struck with a black eye. This angered Marcus and he pushed his brother down a flight of stairs, this putting him in a coma.
Marcus was then disowned by his family, for the attempted murder of his brother. He became an alcoholic and would beat up people when he had the chance and take what they own, but then he killed someone and he is currently and still wanted and on the run, well in hiding. Also, he has a fear of Dobermans.
Results: Give Marcus the death of El Silbon. First tie him to a tree and then use a whip to lash his back until it's raw and bloody. Second, dowse his back with alcohol, lemon juice, chili peppers and salt. Finally have a sack of meat tied to him, and have him be chased and mauled by a pack of starved Dobermans, and trap his soul to be tormented.
This makes them smirk, and then Loona looks to the sinner. "Good job, Laila. You just handed us the first gig, you've got a natural talent in this. Now, come on." they carry her bags, and they head into the building, and Laila is happy to hear this, she finally found her place, and far from being harmed by everyone else here, and deep down she is wondering if she should tell them that she had a run in once with the Radio Demon Alastor.
Lincoln stops and he looks to the sky and sees everything is back to normal, but he knows that soon it will happen again, and when it does, then they will say farewell to an old friend. 'Delilah, I know you can redeem the sins away, I know you can. Have fun, and good luck to you, kid. You're gonna need it.' He then joins the others, and prepares for the new gig of I.M.P, with a new staff member.
