Kink meme fill for prompt: Joe's group ambush on Rick was pretty epic, but I don't feel like Daryl would have been in such good shape after all that. I mean, he was receiving a pretty lengthy and thorough beating there. I was wanting a story that focuses on the aftermath of that encounter, most especially Daryl's injuries.

Four months after the Governor's final attack and the sickness that had killed several, the prison is once again thriving. In the hustle and bustle of their lives, they all have seemed to forget about one woman who had been with them since the beginning. It was like she had never been there to care for them all. Everyone had seemed to forget she had even existed. Except for him.

Daryl and Beth are arguing if Daryl still has a soul after everything that he's done. Beth makes a comment about how if maybe he cut his hair once in a while she would be able to check and see, and Daryl would be a better shot. He lets her cut his hair, and it turns out that she likes what she sees...a lot.

It started w/ a supply run and a little stress relief. It grew into something more. This is where you figure out who your friends are. Friendships change more when Carol gets into the mix of things. This story is a little twist on one of the most common FFs. What if Sophia went to Woodbury instead? I think this will be a great alternative and will continue the same things-never-goes-as-expected formula from the TV show and comics.
