Chapter 357

I'm Going In

John's team reached the location where the two big trucks left from. It was their original objective. They carefully moved in on the building. Cameron's three Terminators joined his team. They consisted of one female he never saw before and two males. Both of the males he knew as Ron and Ronny. The female said to call her Augusta, and then changed her name to June.

The female was a Cameron program clone as well as the two males. John really wondered how many of 'Cameron' there were now. He did know some of the other Terminators carried more than one program on their chip. He was worried Cameron only seemed to trust 'herself' anymore. He felt she was isolating herself as Future John did. It was history repeating itself. If Cameron decided to become Skynet at some point, none of her Terminators would oppose her. They would all join her.

He knew Cameron was worried about all of their safety, especially his.

John wanted to enter the facility and 'shut it down' after they got a look inside. They needed to know what Skynet was up to. If it was Skynet related, it was 'bad news'.

Cameron's team of Terminators already intercepted their truck and drove it away, the driver was terminated. Cameron instructed them to take it away quickly.

Derek and Jim still followed the truck they intercepted. They wanted to see where it went.

John Henry watched Cameron's Terminators 'work'. They beat the destination out of the driver of the other truck before he was terminated. It all happened quickly. With the method used, they possessed the truck, what was in it, and where it was headed. He wanted to do it with the other one too. He didn't see any point in waiting if similar results could be produced.

"I think the other truck should be taken down now." John Henry said.

Derek didn't know Cameron's team beat a confession out of the other driver.

"Maybe it will lead us to a bigger fish." Derek said. "There's something where it's headed."

John Henry didn't think Derek would order the Terminators with him to do what Cameron's Terminators did.

John followed the other operations through his com. He was worried about Derek's team.

"Be on the lookout for an ambush." John warned them.

John Henry felt they were covered.

"I have a drone with them." John Henry said.

John knew the other truck was in their custody. The drone with it might be able to be used elsewhere.

"What about the drone on the other truck?" John asked.

John Henry was worried about a counterattack.

"It's still tracking and watching for anything out of the ordinary. Skynet might try and take it back." John Henry said. "Cameron's crew checked for trackers and disabled any if they were there."

John wondered what the cargo was specifically.

"Do they know what's in the truck?" John asked. "I want to know what they're carrying."

John Henry thought they should have sent out a report. They probably did to Cameron's base and they didn't want to forward the information to him. He believed it was a mistake on CamNet's part not to keep him informed as to the nature of the threat.

"They haven't elaborated on the cargo if they looked." John Henry said.

John returned his attention to where they were at. He didn't want to get off track worrying about other things. If they were detected, things were going to go hot fast. Right now things seemed calm. He thought there should be a little more action going on.

"There's almost no activity at this location." John said.

John Henry detected nothing out of the ordinary either.

"I have the drone searching for anything around there and your team." John Henry said. "Something may turn up."

John wondered if the truck take down alerted the enemy to their presence. It was a possibility.

"I don't like it." John said. "I think it's a set up. Maybe we need to fall back."

As soon as John said it, John Henry was updated by Cameron's base. He didn't think John would like the information.

"Cameron will be there soon." John Henry said. "She's on her way."

John was irritated now. Why couldn't Cameron let him do something for once? Didn't she have anything better to do other than look over his shoulder? What was wrong with her? He let his annoyance be heard.

"It figures." John said sarcastically.

Bob didn't understand John's attitude. They still didn't know what they faced there. If there was an army of Terminators in there, things could go bad fast. He thought the extra help would be a good thing.

"There's no such thing as too much help if we run into enemy Terminators." Bob said. "John, she worries about you."

John didn't look sold on the idea. There were always unknown threats.

"Whatever…." John said.

It started to irritate Bob when John complained about Cameron helping. It was her function, her job. He knew John knew it and it shouldn't be an issue. It was. He wondered if his attitude was actually about something else. He knew for Cameron it often was. He didn't want to argue the issue in the company of others.

"Affirmative…." Bob said.

John looked at Bob when he said it and figured he was offended by what he said earlier. He felt he might have been a little bit too negative. He didn't feel bad about being negative, he felt bad about voicing it. He didn't want any hard feelings.

"I know, Bob." John said. "There's already three of 'Cameron' here now."

There was a sense of motion behind them.

"Make it four." Cameron said as she walked up.

Cameron was disappointed with John's attitude. She heard his sarcasm as she walked up. It seemed the further they moved into the future, the less John understood it. John's refusal to accept the 'Natural Order' seemed to cloud his overall view. John wanted to alter or change history, the future. She wasn't about to let him. Hopefully Savannah's new sexual freedom would allow her to expand her sexual diet. Maybe it was time to put her in John's bed. She could cut back with her sexual favors for a few weeks. It would make John more receptive to Savannah's advances if she stepped them up. Right now she needed to deal with the location where they were at. She'd deal with the problems John created later on.

She really wondered if John didn't suffer from some type of learning disability. She went over Dr. Sherman's reports multiple times. It seemed he recorded the most negative things to say about her, then Sarah. The least negative things were in relation to John. She was fairly certain Dr. Sherman got everything backwards. He was unable to save himself from an accidental termination. Perhaps it was actually a veiled suicide. If he wouldn't have terminated, she would have terminated him herself based on the diagnosis he gave about her. What did he know about cyborgs, time travel, or the future?

She didn't have a developmental disorder. She didn't have a difficult time relating to others socially. Her behavior and thinking pattern wasn't rigid and repetitive. Dr. Sherman didn't understand her, because he didn't understand the future. She was very well adapted for a cyborg. She wasn't a human female. Savannah was a human female. She really needed to expand Savannah's sexual horizons a little further. Now there were too many thoughts in her mind.

Previously Bob asked Cameron about all the 'clones'. Cameron told him she didn't want to risk anyone unnecessarily except herself. She also said she was expendable. It seemed to be the same thing she normally said when asked about it.

"You have copies of all our programs." Bob said. "If one of us is terminated, we can be rebodied with a different chassis."

Cameron did have all of the Terminators programs copied. She would re-chassis them if it became necessary. It was her goal to make it so it wasn't necessary. If she took the heat, no one else would need to.

"I don't want anyone getting hurt because I'm not doing enough to protect John and the future." Cameron said.

Bob knew Cameron was obsessed with protecting everyone. He was pleased she was there now, and there were 'four' of her. It would make his task to protect John easier. The safer he could keep John, the more comfortable he would feel.

John needed to think where things were headed since Cameron was there. He didn't think she would listen to him and would use less caution if he said anything. Perhaps it was time to just flatten the place and figure it out later on. He was still troubled by her last foray into the other structure. Things could have ended much differently for her than they did. He actually liked the fact Savannah was on the last operation. He could see if anyone could keep Cameron in check, it was her. Savannah clearly had a lot of influence with Cameron. He wasn't really sure why. He figured they could wrap things up.

"Maybe we should just hit the building with the drone now." John said. "There's no reason to drag this out and endanger our personnel.

Cameron looked at John with contempt. She didn't like it because he changed the plan, just because she arrived. She took it as a personal insult. Why did he need to disrespect her in public time after time? She was tired of playing games. It was time to bypass John and get the job done. His indecision and confusion about what needed to be done was more than evident. He should return to the Command Center and leave the fighting for those best equipped to do so.

If he wanted to blow the building up, he could have done it from the Command Center under much safer conditions. Maybe she needed to put tighter control over what was actually released to John when enemy activity, or even threats, were detected. There was only one correct way to deal with the issue. It was what she normally did, on her own.

"No." Cameron said. "I'm going in."

Bob didn't think Cameron should go in alone. He could tell she was upset now. There were still three other Terminators there to look after John.

"I'll go with you." Bob said.

Cameron looked at John and the new female Terminator.

"No." Cameron said. "I want you here with John. Julia, will remain here with John also."

John just heard a third name for the female Terminator. He was even more confused. Maybe there was more in play there than he knew.

"I thought her name was June or Augusta." John said.

Cameron was further irritated John questioned her about the female Terminator. She already picked a name but was reluctant to use it in front of him. She wanted to see if he could figure it out on his own. All he needed to do was put the names together, and her name would be revealed to him. She actually wanted to see the implication of how he would take it once he made the association. Right now she wanted to keep him guessing. Hopefully it would keep him out of her way when she went down to do her job.

"I haven't determined her designation yet." Cameron said. "Don't worry about it. Just do as you're instructed to do. The culmination of her name is beautiful."

John didn't care for the rebuke. He thought about what Cameron said about the new female's name. The names he heard so far were June, Julia, and Augusta. It was like June, July and August. He thought it sounded like the three months of summer.

The true impact of it went over his head. He would have thought it was a new low, even for Cameron, once he figured everything out and what her sheath would be Resequenced to.

They received additional disturbing news over their coms.

"It looks like the truck made us." Derek came over the com.

It was sure to be bad news. If there wasn't a warning sent out before. There was now. It was probably about to hit the fan.

Cameron would pull the drone coverage off of her Terminators with the other big rig for now. She wanted to make sure Derek was protected. She wasn't sure why his team was detected. She believed they should have moved in quickly as her team of Terminators did.

"Send the second drone to their location." Cameron said. "I'm sending the fourth drone to take the place of the second drone. It should arrive in a short time."

John Henry already sent the fourth drone when Bob said he would go with Cameron. Bob's plan changed. The drone was already headed to the target zone.

The drone over the building was at a high altitude. It was able to spot some movement through one of the skylights. Something moved inside the building. What it was, was indeterminable as of yet.

"The fourth drone is on its way." John Henry said. "I've detected activity inside the building. It looks like something is about to happen….

Everyone could tell it was going to be bad news.

What else was new?

Vanna walked towards Savannah, she could see Savannah looked happy. It was something she hadn't seen in a long time. It appeared going to Australia changed things, at least while they were there. She knew Cameron orchestrated the 'union' of Young Jesse and Savannah in Australia. She didn't like it, but she understood it. There were a lot worse things which could have played out going forward. Some of the issues were now solved. Savannah was a young woman now. She understood the needs a woman felt. She also felt there were a lot worse ways to be 'sexually educated'. The upside was any 'Jesse' was Hot. She imagined a young 'Jesse' would be really Hot in bed. Then again, she lacked experience.

Experience made a big difference. It determined if someone could get you 'there' or not. It was very frustrating when they couldn't. It was even more frustrating if she got the other person there first, and they were unable to deliver for her. It was usually due to inexperience on their part. Depending upon the circumstances, she understood it. Many of the females she 'helped' in the future were inexperienced. She wanted to make them feel they possessed value and self-worth. She understood what it was like to be abused. She didn't mind if she didn't make it under those circumstances. If she could make a female feel good about herself, and care about herself going forward, she felt she accomplished her goal. She let her mind drift as she walked. It wasn't hard to do when thoughts of the past, the future, crept in.

She noticed Savannah was with Cameron. Cameron looked really Tight. Savannah touched Cameron's face as they played around and giggled. They looked very close. She didn't believe she ever viewed Cameron quite as animated and 'happy' as she currently looked. They looked like lovers.

Wait.

'Something is off here.' Vanna thought.

She looked closer at 'Cameron'. It was all wrong.

"What's going on here?" Vanna demanded.

Savannah hadn't noticed Vanna arrive. She was focused on Cammy. She thought Vanna looked a little upset. She thought the best thing to do was go straight into the introduction. She doubted Vanna was going to approve of her new relationship.

"Hi, Vanna, this is Cammy." Savannah said.

The upset look on Vanna's face became a little more stern.

Cammy? Who was Cammy? Vanna knew Savannah called Cameron 'Cammy' sometimes. It was Savannah's 'pet' name for her.

Then it hit her. It landed on her like a ton of bricks. It really was all wrong. At this point it was clear Cammy was a new 'Cameron clone'. A clone of Cameron she created specifically for Savannah. She immediately became even more upset. Now she understood why Cameron was in such a rush to put Savannah in the arms of another female, a human female, first.

"She didn't." Vanna said angrily. "How dare her. What's going on exactly?"

Savannah felt a little affronted. It seemed Vanna was angry at Cameron or her for Cammy's creation. What was the big deal? She was defensive now and wanted Vanna to know things already happened. What was done was done. She didn't want Vanna to get into a tirade and embarrass herself.

"Cameron did and…." Savannah looked at Cammy, then back to Vanna. "…We have…."

Savannah wanted to move her life ahead. She was tired of nothing but 'herself'. There were times she pleasured herself twenty times a day sometimes when she was so frustrated. Her hormones were very active and she needed more than 'herself'. There were times when she wondered if Cameron hadn't accelerated her development process. If it was what Cameron did, she was glad. She didn't think so. She wouldn't mind if Cameron actually did it for Young Allison. It would shave a few years off what was bound to happen going forward. No. She wanted Young Allison to be who she was, until she became who she would be, on her own.

Vanna understood what was done and all the implications. Savannah would be sexually active from now on. It was probably Cameron's doing to get Savannah into John's bed. At some point in time Cammy, wouldn't be enough. She at least didn't think Savannah should have a 'full time lover', not yet anyway. It sure seemed like Savannah 'grew up' fast.

She didn't develop as quickly. Maybe it was because of her poor nutrition. She remembered stories of individuals who were so malnourished, they barely developed any secondary sex characteristics for both males and females. None of them were able to reproduce. Based upon her current experience, the latter wasn't too uncommon from those from her future. It didn't appear any of them could reproduce either, even with secondary sex characteristics. She didn't want her mind to wander. She wanted to make her displeasure unknown.

"I don't agree with this." Vanna said.

Cam was nearby and heard a discussion which seemed to get a little heated and tense. She walked over and stood beside Vanna.

Savannah looked at Cam and Vanna. She wondered how it looked any different than Cammy standing next to her.

"Really? You don't agree with what I have now?" Savannah asked. "Look next to you. What do you see? Tell me what's any different. Better yet, tell me why it should be any different. I'm entitled to the same things everyone else is able to have and share."

Vanna did look. She noticed the two clones look at each other. She realized Savannah and her were the same!

Cam and Cammy looked over each other in detail. It was a toss up which one was Tighter. It appeared as if both of them knew what was going to happen, and they wanted to look better than the other one. It was more of a tie than anything.

"It would appear history actually does repeat itself." Cammy said.

Cam eyed Cammy, Vanna and Savannah.

"Apparently…." Cam said.

Vanna was irritated by everyone's complicity. It was a serious matter. It was going to change or at least bend Savannah's future. She didn't like how the two clones acted towards them right now. We were only going to add fuel to the fire, even if they didn't say a word. Their presence was distracting, because their appearance was so enticing.

"You two, take off." Vanna said to Cam and Cammy. "I want to talk to Savannah alone."

Cammy didn't like Vanna's aggressive behavior right now. She looked at Savannah who nodded at her. It was Savannah's indication everything was OK. She still wanted to give Vanna a reminder of the reality of the situation.

"Just remember, you're talking to 'yourself'." Cammy said as Cam and her started to walk away. "YOURSELF…."

Cam wasn't sure what the real issue was there. It seemed like a lot of drama over nothing.

"What's good for the goose…." Cam said.

Cammy could see Cam was on the same page as her.

"Is good for the gander…." Cammy responded.

They were about to 'high five' each other.

Vanna glared at them, and then back to Savannah.

They moved on without the 'high five'.

Savannah didn't like Vanna to 'attack' her. She hadn't done anything 'wrong'. She hadn't done anything different than anyone else. She believed Vanna would understand her feelings most of all.

"I expected this treatment from Sarah." Savannah said. "Not from you."

Vanna was surprised to hear it.

"Sarah knows?" Vanna asked.

Savannah was very pleased with the encounter. Sarah gave her a lot of support and an indication she did the same things, more or less. She actually believed it was a lot more common for females to have shared with each other, even if it wasn't routinely admitted.

"Yes. Cameron asked for her to 'understand'." Savannah said.

Vanna wasn't sure what it was supposed to mean.

"Understand what?" Vanna asked.

Savannah felt she sacrificed enough already. Why couldn't she have what everyone else shared? She believed her actions and choices were justified.

"It was to understand I'm a young adult. It was to understand I'm lonely and I need someone too." Savannah said. "Vanna, I'm all alone. I too have feelings, desires, wants, and 'needs'. Those I wanted to share with were afraid. When I figured out what they were afraid of, it upset me even more. Who is anyone to decide two people can't be together if they choose to be? How is it fair to anyone? How is it fair when they do the exact same things themselves with the same individual?"

Vanna looked at Savannah for the longest time. She ran it all through her mind. She realized Savannah referred to the threats she made to Jesse to 'stay away' from Savannah. She understood Savannah's desire to be with Jesse would be even more so now since she was with Young Jesse. It made her wonder if Young Jesse would want to be with her since she was Savannah Weaver as well. She did know one thing, she believed she could teach Young Jesse quite a few things because of her vast experience. She knew it was a two-way street. Jesse would be able to teach Savannah quite a few new things too because of her vast experience. What Cameron orchestrated was what was best for Savannah. She would be occupied with a cyborg instead. She walked over and hugged her.

"I'm sorry." Vanna said. "I didn't want you to grow up…. I know you're not a girl anymore, nor have been for a long time. I just didn't want to admit it. I wanted to spare you the hardships of growing up and adult life. In the current environment you're in, everything is much more controlled and regulated to protect you. I know it also restricted you from expanding and experimenting with others your own age previously."

Savannah knew there were a lot worse ways to grow up. Where she was, was all very controlled and safe. It may have been 'arranged', but it was what everyone wanted. Everyone was able to make a choice. She already explained to Cammy what her sexual future was going to be. She could see it was very discerning to Cammy when she told her she was going to be with everyone Vanna was with, as well as with John. She would also bear John's child to give to Cameron as her own. She wasn't ready to start her own family. Cammy reluctantly needed to agree to Savannah's wishes and desires. She didn't want to be shut out and replaced with a different cyborg who would agree to them. She was sure Sheila or Ally would be more than happy to take her place.

"It's too late to stop anything." Savannah said. "I've only recently caught the physical activity up to the mental activity. This has been a long time coming. I'm just getting started."

Vanna drew Savannah in closer and cried. She never wanted to let her go. She knew Cammy would never let what happened to her, ever happen to Savannah…. She knew Cameron did it to protect Savannah. It was a good thing, even if she didn't want Savannah to 'grow up'. She cried harder with joy to know a group of men would never hold Savannah down and take turns, over and over and over….

Wait.

Did Savannah just say she was only getting started?

Derek was worried they were made. Something needed to happen soon before the enemy could come up with a plan or counter attack. They would need to take action before the enemy did.

"What about the truck?" Derek came across the com.

John Henry thought the best choice was to disengage. There were drones on the scene now. They still hoped to find out where the truck was headed.

"Let the truck go and we will follow it with a drone. I have two of them on it." John Henry said. "If the truck stops, send in the Terminators."

Cameron was worried for Derek's safety now. It looked like the surveillance operation was about to go hot.

"Jim is to remain with Derek at all times." Cameron said. "I want Derek protected if it falls apart."

Nobody wanted to argue with Cameron.

"Roger." Derek said. "Caution will come first."

Cameron turned her attention back to where she was.

"What about the building?" Cameron asked. "I need to know more."

John Henry viewed all the drone images. The activity seemed confined to one area inside the building. The drone was too high to do any accurate scans of the building.

"There appears to be some activity going on the northwest corner." John Henry said.

Cameron knew there was only one option left. Skynet activity there could be about to ramp up. She needed to know what else was in the building and what they were doing.

"I'm going in." Cameron said.

Ron and Ronny checked their weapons.

"We will accompany you." Ron said.

Cameron looked at Summer, Bob and John. There could be Terminators there.

"No." Cameron said. "I can do it alone. You two stay with John, Bob, and her."

John wouldn't have it. Cameron should have help. He laid out the reality of what was going to happen.

"Cameron, I want at least one of them to go with you, or I will go myself." John said. "I'm not fooling around. Don't turn something simple into a major episode. There's a chain of command which you need to respect."

Cameron glared at John. Why did he have such trouble understanding the future? He even had the nerve before to say she was 'dense'! Did he think she forgot the dig, or any of the others, especially when he was with the 'Bitch Whore' Riley, Future Riley? She didn't want to start to glitch before combat.

"Fine. Ron, you come with me." Cameron said.

Bob didn't like to see Cameron endangered. He didn't think John's request was extreme in the slightest. He would have gone down himself if Cameron would have gone down alone.

"We all worry about you, Cameron." Bob said. "We care. You're not the only one who cares about others."

Cameron knew Bob spoke for all of them. She also found out previously Bob was the first Terminator who offered his power cell to blast Duplicate Cameron out of her 'tomb'. He offered to give up his existence for 'Cameron', for her. She KNEW they all cared. She didn't understand why she didn't feel the same way about herself.

"It's understood." Cameron said. "Let's go."

Ronny waited until Cameron and Cam departed.

"I'll take up a flanking position." Ronny said.

John looked apprehensive.

"Is it wise?" John asked.

It wasn't what Cameron 'ordered'.

"I'm Cameron too, John." Ronny said. "I know what I can get away with….. I know what I can do if it falls apart too. I want to be able to help Cameron and Ron as well if it becomes necessary."

John wanted Cameron protected.

"Do it." John said.

Ronny went to move out.

Cameron and Ron were gone less than a minute when something new developed.

"I have movement off to the side." Cameron said. "Ron is on it. I'm going in, alone…."

Ronny took off at a run.

John looked at the two Terminators with him. He figured only Bob would listen to him.

"If things get hot, I need you to go down and help them out, Bob." John said.

Bob looked at the female Terminator.

"Affirmative." Bob said. "I'll go after Cameron."

John looked at her too. He knew what was inside of her, even if her current appearance was different.

"I'll still have plenty of protection." John said. "'Cameron' is here with me…."

Closing monologue by Cameron:

I'm Going In

Invisible walls in one's life
Block them from many things
Everything they reach out for
Seems to be attached with strings

Without any doubt at all
There's absolutely no free ride
Everything comes with a price
Even if the true cost can hide

Sooner or later or even now
The toll will come due
Everyone needs to pay the Piper
Or the interest continues to accrue

So what does one do to exist
If nothing is done there is nothing
The long term effects of it
Can be degrading and quite crushing

Eventually everyone rolls the dice
To want to be loved isn't a sin
No one ever really thinks twice
As they say, 'I'm going in'

Nobody
