Rebecca is a woman trying to find her mother and sister. Traveling with her father, wanting to survive in a world full of monsters, she encounters a rough redneck. Will he be enough to stop her in her tracks and keep her from her goal? Will he be a friend or an enemy? Will he end up loving her or killing her? Life can easily become a living hell. Sometimes dying is the easy part.

When he'd gotten her out, he'd taken her hand. And honestly, until they'd reached the wall, that was how they'd stayed. Until necessity had pulled them apart and he found himself leaning up against the eastern gate, weaving his fingers together and boosting her up the moment the kid on guard turned the other way.

(Rewritten) Our pasts are all unique. All the time we are reminded of it by small things we see every now and then. Sometimes the smallest thing can symbolize something so powerful in someones past. But when past itself comes through the door, how would a person react?

The events of 3.15 happen differently in that Merle finds Daryl has been killed and turned. Full description inside. Rated T for language. One-shot.

This involves Daryl escaping from Woodbury and running back to the prison. There's also parts from Carol's POV back at the prison. I only wish I owned The Walking Dead!

Apart, we thought we were strong. But suddenly being thrust into a world where we only had each other, and soon other survivors down in Georgia, we came to find that we might have all been dependent on each other more than we originally thought. Through accepting this fact, our bond grew and we discovered that maybe love never truly dies, and that together, we could be infinite.

Carol's dreams continued to grow more and more disturbed, until her exhausted mind could take it no longer. She awoke with a start, heart racing and breath heaving. Carol is a strong woman, but even she has nightmares that make her cry. Eventual Carol/Daryl.
