Helluva Loud Adventures.
"Cheers and... Well, an orchid."

(January 3. Bingham-Horvitz Residence, Franklin Avenue Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Moxxie is at the backyard, and he is checking on the flowers which he planted alongside his wife, and he is glad the snow is gone, but he knows it'll come back soon, it is still the season of winter. Moxxie then looks around the backyard, and he has some thoughts.

'Hmmm, perhaps we should add some roses to the backyard. It would be nice to look at, and the whole place could use some more touch up before spring fully...'

The backyard door is kicked open hard, and the imp is startled to see his eldest adopted daughter, EveLynn, and she doesn't look happy. "EveLynn? There is no need to kick the door open, and also how was the basketball practice..."

"No time dad, I need to know something... Do you and mom have any experience with cheer leading?"

That is something he didn't see coming, from his own daughter. "Wait, what? Why?"

EveLynn sighs. "Because we need it. Paula, Maddie, Annie, Lainey and I need some way to beat those cheer leaders at their own gain, and show them that we basketball players are all about the importance of the sport. So, we had this bet and we are not letting those cheer leaders win."

Moxxie then thinks about this. "EveLynn, you are already athletic, and would be capable of doing such cheer leading acts. You have done so much, even leaping and long jumps during our kills, but if you are to beat them, then I know some thing or two when it comes to cheer leading, and one of which is presentation."

EveLynn is confused. "Presentation? Are we talking about a lights show?"

Moxxie nods. "Yes, but the lights show needed is not fireworks, because those are for when the cheer leading sport is taking place outside. What you will need is one involving lights from above, and electronics with a very heart pumping and motivating beat."

"The crowd itself needs to be within the spirit of confidence on what they believe, and what they need to believe and cheer for is that they're team can win. The true motive of the cheer leader is such action, not just to cheer the team onward to win, but to get the crowd pumped up and also with them."

EveLynn is baffled by this. "Wow, now that sounds like some awesome advice and I think I can have someone we know help us deal with this cheer leading problem and contest. We are so gonna beat those girls. Thanks dad..." She is about to go and meet with her friends, but then Moxxie stops her by getting in her way, and yes he leaped over.

"Not so fast young lady."

EveLynn is confused, and also surprised. "What the heck dad? Also, nice leap and land."

"Thanks, but back to the question. EveLynn, why are you and you're friends going against the cheer leaders?" Moxxie then sees the upset look on EveLynn, and he can tell that something is wrong and has something to do with her school, or yet the basketball team. "EveLynn, what happened at school?"

Seeing no other choice, EveLynn tells her imp dad, everything that has happened today.

(McBride's Residence.)

Lincoln and Clyde arrive to the house of the McBride's, and Clyde sees the house he once called home. "Has been some time since I have been here."

"Yeah, well you called me to come along, and whatever this is all about it had better be good." Lincoln has a pistol with him, he is being cautious and thinks that the McBride's might be back to their old ways, again.

They knock on the door, and Harold is the one who opens it. "Good come inside, this is a serious emergency!" They can see his worried, scared and desperate face, and they can tell that something happened.

They head inside and follow him, and then Lincoln asks. "Alright, so what the heck happened? You're face looks like, and says that something died."

"Something did die, Lincoln!" Harold then shows them, and they see the dead orchid and Clyde gasps as well. "I know, horrible right? I was just... Oh, what have I done?! Again."

They see, the wilted (dead) orchid, and Lincoln is confused. "An orchid? Ummm, okay? What the heck am I supposed to be looking at?"

"This is not an ordinary orchid Lincoln!" said Clyde, and then he explains. "This orchid is the rare Eternal Love orchid, and Harold gave it to Howard long ago, during their first date and it has been the symbol of their love for some time. It rarely blooms, and when it does..."

"That is when Howard gets emotional and cries tears of joy for such beauty" replied Harold. "This special and rare flower must only be watered once, and I mean only once every 12 hours, and while Howie and I were locked up, we asked our neighbor to water our plants, and she did an amazing job."

"Now, this is happening!" Howard then cries. "We need... A new one, and we need one fast!"

Lincoln is still confused. "Okay then." He looks to the orchid. "Which flower shop did you get this rare thing? Or was it from an online thing?"

"Nope" replied Clyde. "This flower is rare and one of a king, and is located in a harsh and dangerous swamp, and yeah I looked it up long ago and..." Clyde then recalls something and he looks towards Harold. "What did you mean by, again?"

Harold then explains. "Alright, so on some occasions I may have accidently killed the orchid, and I had to travel to a swamp to get a new one."

"Then go to this swamp and get a new one" replied Lincoln. "Wait, do you need some ride from me or something?"

"No, no. I have someone who can help get the flower, and he lives in the very swamp where it grows" replied Harold, and then he looks worried. "But recently... He told me, that the orchid doesn't grow there anymore!"

Lincoln and Clyde are surprised to hear this. "What?!" Clyde feels like fainting.

Harold nods and then he explains. "He told me, that some company has torn down a portion of the swamp, and that said portion is where the orchid is usually growing, and with that part destroyed, there is nowhere else to find it, except for the Everglades, and Africa. But, I don't think I have the cash for that flight..."

"Let me help" replied Lincoln.

This surprises them. "What? Really?"

Lincoln looks to the orchid, and he carries it. "Let me bring this to someone, who might aid in getting you a new one, or perhaps... Have a whole park filled with them."

Hearing him say that makers Harold confused, and then he speaks. "Hang on, can you repeat that again? Did you say, a whole park?!"

"To be continued in the next chapter folks!"

A/N: Continuing will be tomorrow, involving the whole cheer leading thing, and the orchid they seek. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter folks!
