Hey now, looks like the time has come for a little Casagrande to receive something, to celebrate something good. Based on the episode "The Odd Father" So, let us a see what is a goin' to be a happenin', huh? Pardon those words guys, I'm just getting' the feelin' of... It's just business. I need to stop watching the Godfather. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter folks!
Helluva Loud Adventures.
"The Christening, and the Odd-father."
(January 22. El Palacio Chapel. Great Lakes City.)
The portal opens, and coming through are Lincoln, Luna, Jordan, Loona, Lori, and Leni and for some reason, Charlie and Vaggie are here. They wanna see this event, something Charlie knows, and something Vaggie has seen, and yet she wants to be here since she is friends with the Casagrandes.
They are all wearing something formal and nice, and nothing revealing. Charlie sees the building where the event is going down, and she seems excited. "Wow, this is the first for me."
Luna then asks. "Which one? The baby getting Christening or the church?"
"Well, not the second one" replied Charlie. "I am so excited to be part of this, and thank you guys for letting us come along."
Vaggie then realizes. "Wait, I thought Loona had a plus one and the others? I mean, Lori and Leni allowed us to come along as their plus one."
Loona smirks. "Here they come, our plus one's." the portal opens, and they see the Ars Goetia family. Stolas, Stella and Octavia. "Jordan here, wait who is your plus one?"
Jordan then speaks. "Umm, I don't have a plus one. So, I guess I'm on my own." All of them then go towards the chapel, but they do turn their phones to silent.
The doors open, and its Rosa. "Oh, good you all came. Come inside, wait is the church alright for..."
"We're fine with it" replied Stolas, Stella, Octavia, Loona, Charlie and Vaggie, and they all head into the chapel and they see the whole place has been made as a perfect setup for Carlitos.
"Whoa dudes. You guys went all out on this place, and all for the little guy" replied Luna. "Nice.".
They all go over and get ready, Stolas looks around. "I have seen fancier places than this, but this is alright too. I mean, the one thing that makes this remind me of the olden days of churches and chapels, would be those statues, and stained windows."
Stella is curious and then she asks Rosa. "There is a celebration after this, right?"
"Oh, si there will be, back at the apartment on the roof, you're highness" replied Rosa.
Stella chuckles. "Oh come now, it's Mrs. Ars Goetia." They all gather around, as Carlos is holding his son.
But before anything can be done, Frida is confused and she looks around and she sees that something, well someone is missing. "Where is Vito? He should have been here by now?"
"Wait, wait. Vito?" asked Lincoln. "What does he have to do with this? Wait, what the heck is going on?"
Ronnie Anne then explains. "Vito is the godfather of Carlitos, Tio Carlos made that happen."
"Wow, and you chose him, why?" asked Loona.
Carlos is nervous, and before he could speak, someone shows up and it is Vito. "Wait!" They see Vito is here, wearing a light blue suit and he looks like he is swearing.
"Vito!" The Casagrandes were glad to see him. But Carlos is surprised. "Vito?!" Carlitos looks happy to see him again, and Lalo backs away, he was gonna be chosen to be Carlitos Padrino.
Stolas then asks. "Did you run all the way here? Why didn't you hail a cab?"
Vito then explains. "Sorry, I'm late. I couldn't find my phone so I couldn't call ou guys." He then goes inside. "My scooter got towed, and then I lost my wallet. So, I couldn't be able to take a cab." He then showers some of the sweat off from the fountain used for the whole christening thing, and this disturbs Stolas and Stella, but Luna took a photo of the whole thing.
He then wipes his face with the robe of the priest. "So, I ran all the way here, and I think a lost a few pounds."
Frida is baffled. "You ran 57 blocks?!"
Vito nods. "Anything for my god son. Here let me see the little guy." He is about to hold Carlitos, but Carlos stops him.
"No, you're too late Vito!" Carlos grabs the arm of his son.
Vito does the same. "What are you talkin' about? I made it, didn't i?"
They have this tug of war for the baby, and this startles the others, and Stolas is getting angry, and he goes over to diffuse this issue, but then they let go of the baby, and Carlitos is sent flying, to which Stella Ars Goetia reacts and she catches the baby before he lands into the cake.
"By the lord's Lucifer and his name! What is the matter with you freaks?!" She then hands the crying baby to Frida, and the mother of the infant looks to the Carlos and Vito angrily.
But Carlos yells at Vito. "You see what you did now, Vito!" He then hands back the phone and wallet. "This is the reason why I stopped you from coming today!"
This makes everyone surprised. Vito on the other hand, I think he is just seeing this now. "What?! Wait just a sec, I'm starting to see that you had something to do with my stolen phone, missing wallet and my scooter getting towed."
Octavia then asks. "How oblivious and dumb is that old man?"
Loona then drinks some punch. "You have no idea."
Carlos then speaks. "Well, you figured it out. What choice did I have anyway, I am sorry Vito, but I just can't let you be the Padrino, you're just too much!"
"Hold it!" Stolas then uses his Grimoire. "Let us see from your memories of what went down." He then makes the illusion and they see what went down days ago, while Carlitos was spending time with Vito.
It started when Vito saved Carlitos from some random roller skater. Vito then took an hour walk with the baby and came back with Carlitos looking like Vito, then they went to eat lunch which he gave Carlitos blended meatballs, and they made him poop a lot. When Carlitos was napping, Vito had an extra baby radio to hear him, and he is really close to the apartment.
They all look towards Carlos, and Lincoln speaks. "I don't get it, sure he fed him meatballs till he pooped, but he helped make sure he was fine while sleeping."
Loona then speaks. "Still, you should only be the godfather and take care of the little guy when there is no one to watch after him, and technically Carlos was there, and he was still around and alive. The kid should be given the chance to live with the godparent, depending if the worse has come to the parents."
Octavia then continues. "In other words, should the parents be dead or sent to jail, then the godparent steps in. Right, priest?" the Spanish priest nods, and she fist bumps with him.
Vito is surprised, and then he realizes. "Oh, oh Oompa-Doompa. I didn't know. Carlos I am so sorry about that. I was just wanting to spend some time with my godson. I didn't mean to be all clingy."
Stolas then realizes. "Oh for hell's sake, now it makes sense. Carlos. Vito is Italian, and the Italian tradition of the familia to them, is that the godfather is almost always around, and is almost as different from you're country and origin. Two different parts of the world, and two different actions of what their family traditions mean."
Stella smirks. "And there is a concept you didn't see coming, also aren't you supposed to be a smart college teacher of some sort? How did you not figure that one out?"
Carlos realizes this. "Oh, I didn't mean that to happen, and I didn't think of that."
"Well, I should be going..." Vito is about to leave, but then Carlos stops him.
"Wait, stop Vito. Look, I am sorry for what I said, and I was wrong again. Vito, you were doing only what you thought was right and just wanted to spend some time with Carlitos. Do you still wanna be the Padrino?"
Vito smiles hearing this. "Sure, what the heck. Of course I would, and I won't be too much and all over the place. Let's get this kid Christened!"
They then go back to the christening, and as soon as it is done, Vito then speaks. "Hey, check it out Carlitos. Twinsies!" He rips his suit off, and he is wearing the same thing as Carlitos, and he jumps in the arms of the priest to carry him.
Carlitos then calls out. "Oompa-Doompa."
They all come together for a group photo, and then proceed with the celebration at the Apartment. The folks from hell and Royal Woods are glad that this all worked out, and glad they didn't have to do much to help.

Lady Ace dodges some bullets, and she faces a stolen pickup truck and a machine gun has been mounted and it looks like a Technical now, the men inside robbed one of the banks earlier, and now they are trying to get out of town. Lady Ace flies in, but she makes a barrier as to not get hurt, and then she throws some energy blasts.
One of the blasts hits the truck at the front wheel, and it is spinning out of control, but then the truck is back in motion and tries to escape, and this angers Lady Ace. "Okay then." she then flies high into the sky, and she looks down.
Lady Ace then comes down at full speed, but then something shiny from below blinds her focus, and she loses her balance, and she lands onto the truck and the whole thing blows up.
Firemen arrive and they put out the flames, then Lady Ace comes out of the fire using an energy barrier, and she has the knocked out criminals, and the bags of money. "And everything is now A-Okay." Everyone cheers seeing this.
Then she hands the crooks and the cash to the police, and then she is met by news reporters and then Katherine Mulligan asks with a confused expression. "Lady Ace, did you intend to do that?"
Lady Ace then speaks the truth. "I didn't, I lost my balance when someone shined something at me." The others are confused hearing this. "But, it could just be an accident from something reflecting. Also, I gotta go." She then takes to the skies, and goes back to patrol.
The one who made that shine, was Rodney Spokes and he goes back to hiding near the vent on the roof of the building, and he scratches his chin. 'Looks like that worked, alright time to see what else can work to see if I can bring her to the ground.'
Rodney then puts the mirror back into the bag, and he leaves the roof and continues to follow Lady Ace, and see what else might just work to take her down, for whatever plans he has for the true blue superheroine from Royal Woods.

A/N: Well, that ended well for the Casagrandes and Carlitos, and someone is still following and has some plans to take down and possibly capture Lady Ace. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter folks!
