Chapter 591
When Do We Start
Cameron wanted to speak to Claire. Hanna and Holly both spoke with her first. She really didn't care about what either of them had to say.
It seemed there were enough problems for her to deal with already. She didn't need anymore.
Cameron knocked on Claire's bedroom door.
There was no answer at first.
Claire knew what was coming. She loved Cameron dearly but she was afraid. It wasn't for herself.
"Come in, Cameron." Claire said.
Cameron walked into the room and faced Claire.
They both stood there as they looked at each other.
Claire lowered her gaze. She then looked back at Cameron.
"Please don't take Summer from me too." Claire said. "I'll do whatever you want. Please let me keep one of my girls."
Cameron tilted her head slightly. That seemed to be an issue that everyone else was hung up on. That was a subject for a different time.
"I'm here about Allison." Cameron said.
Claire sucked in her breath. She knew Cameron was going to take Her Allison away. She would be grown when she came back.
"I know you've come for her." Claire said. "You've come to take her from me."
Cameron tilted her head slightly in the other direction. That was a separate issue as well. It would be dealt with later on.
There was a look of hurt and fear on Claire's face. She was powerless to stop Cameron. It was still her daughter.
Cameron knew they were each talking about a different Allison. She wanted to get Claire squared away and to calm down.
"I'm here to keep Allison from going into My future after her baby." Cameron said. "Things don't look good. If she loses this baby she's leaving. I won't stop her, it's her wish. I only know one thing that will keep her here…."
Claire's mouth dropped open slightly. That wasn't what she expected to hear. Cameron was here to help her keep her daughter from leaving. She knew right away her body was the key.
"I can have another baby for her, her baby." Claire said. "Or give her mine."
Cameron needed the use of Claire's body and its reproductive capability to push her agenda. It would offend the fewest people with Claire's cooperation and assistance.
"Yes, as we did before, as you did for her and for me." Cameron said. "I won't take your girls from you – any of them."
Claire wanted to believe that. She didn't know if she could. Cameron always got what she wanted, one way or another.
"You're not here to take MY Allison away?" Claire asked.
Cameron wanted to hedge her bet. She knew that she would need to come up with a baby fast for Allison if she was ready to leave after her next failure. There was only one way to do that. It was to take Claire once she was pregnant with Allison's embryo into the past and bring her back right before delivery. They could leave here now and return a minute later. Eight or nine months would have passed. She didn't want to chance having the baby in the past. She would rather risk a premature delivery with the trauma from the temporal transfer.
"No." Cameron said. "Young Allison may accompany us when we go. I'd like that."
Claire was still confused.
"Go?" Claire asked. "Go where?"
"We would go back to the 'past' for eight months or so." Cameron said. "Young Allison can arrive before us or stay after us too. You would be with her for most of the time."
Claire knew that would take her away from her youngest daughter.
"What about Summer?" Claire asked.
Cameron didn't think she would even know the difference. It would all happen fast in real time here in the present.
"She'll take a nap while we are gone. It won't be for long." Cameron said. "She won't even miss you. We will return soon after we leave."
Claire would still be away from Summer for those eight or nine months.
"I'll miss her." Claire said.
Cameron would like to 'mature' Summer as well. That would need to be the topic of a later discussion. She wanted Claire's mind at ease now.
"You'll also still have her." Cameron said. "Summer will still be the same."
Claire wondered about her Terminator lover. They shared multiple times everyday.
"Will Hanna go also?" Claire asked.
Cameron wanted everyone happy and satisfied. She knew a happy customer was a repeat customer.
"Of course she'll go." Cameron said. "I'll be there as well."
Claire looked at Cameron when she said she would go too. Maybe she could get what she wanted from Cameron. She wanted to share her love with her. She believed she could provide Cameron with what she wanted, even if it wasn't what Cameron thought she wanted. Maybe there were a few other perks she could get.
"If My Allison goes, will Anna come too?" Claire asked.
Claire knew Anna was just like 'Savannah'.
Cameron could see that Claire took the bait. She would reward her some more too.
"Yes." Cameron said. "We can bring Sheila or Ally as well."
Claire had a soft spot for Jesse. She was drawn to her. Sheila was just like 'Jesse'. Ally was just like 'Cameron', sort of. She could fulfill all her fantasies in the past.
"Sheila and Ally can go too?" Claire asked.
Cameron would sweeten the deal any way she could. She wanted Claire to want to go. It would make everything so much easier.
"I can assign Hanna other duties if you think that's too many Terminators." Cameron said. "Hanna can tend to Summer. Talk to Hanna, the Metal girls all get along very well with each other. I can also ask Holly…."
Claire moved forward and hugged Cameron. It was everything she wanted.
"When do we start?" Claire asked.
Cameron scanned Claire as she hugged her. She would have asked Jesse to go as well if it was necessary. She knew what Claire wanted besides her. It looked like enough was offered.
"Maybe as soon as a few days…." Cameron said. "I want you to think everything over first. It has to be everything you want to do on your own."
They both knew there was nothing to think about. Claire would do anything she could for Cameron. Claire was as helplessly in love with Cameron as everyone else was.
Everything that Cameron offered was a bonus to make everyone happy. All the Metal girls liked to share with Claire, so did Jesse, Vanna and Savannah. She was pretty sure that Sarah would too if it was a clandestine hook up. She saw how they both looked at each other. Maybe she should work on that first. It would make Sarah and Claire happy. She liked when everyone was happy.
John didn't want to lose track of the two Gray chase vehicles. The big truck was tagged but the van and the SUV weren't. He didn't want one of them to ambush any of their group.
"Where's the SUV the Grays are driving?" John asked. "Is it closing?"
John Henry didn't think John would like the update.
"It was." John Henry said. "We've lost it."
John wasn't sure how.
"Tom was on it." John said. "Does he still have a visual?"
Tom needed to back off so they didn't get 'made'. Some traffic developed and they were separated.
"Negative." Tom came back. "I've lost them in traffic. They still have to be around here."
John Henry was somewhat perplexed. He couldn't find them on any traffic cameras.
"I'm checking traffic cameras." John Henry said. "They're not showing up."
John feared the worst. They didn't know if the group made them or not.
"They must be stopped. It's possible they're in a building or parking garage." John said. "They might have switched vehicles too. Derek and his teams need to be on the lookout for anything out of place. They could be setting up an ambush."
Savannah and Young Allison went into the bunker to review the most recent 'field trip' Savannah was on.
Young Allison knew it was very dangerous. Cammy and Cameron were shot at with minigun fire. She wanted to know what Savannah did and how she'd disabled an HK Track.
Savannah noticed CamNet was still on. It caught her attention right away. It showed what was happening with the mission Derek and the other teams were on.
Young Allison didn't want Savannah to think she spied on her. She liked to follow all the missions she knew about.
"I wanted to see what happened with that mission too." Young Allison said. "It is only surveillance for now. I want to know about yours. The mission you were just on, Savannah."
Savannah didn't want to romanticize what they'd just been through. It was nearly deadly and very 'touch and go'.
"It was a close call for Cameron and Cammy." Savannah said.
Anna was able to give Young Allison a good reconstruction of the actual events.
"It was a close call for you too." Young Allison said. "You saved them, one of them anyway."
Savannah frowned. She didn't want it to be thought of that way. They all played their part.
"Did Anna say that?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison didn't want to get anyone in trouble.
"She was very worried about you three." Young Allison said. "I was worried about you…."
Savannah smiled at her.
"I was worried about Cameron and Cammy too." Young Allison quickly added as an afterthought.
Savannah told her all the details she was missing from the mission and answered all her questions.
Young Allison took it all in. She also kept track of the feeds from CamNet and John Henry. She wondered if she possessed what it took to 'cut it' out in the field.
"Are you ever afraid?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah wasn't hindered by her fear. Her love was able to power through the fear. She knew her love might get her killed one day too. She would do her part no matter what the cost was.
"Yes." Savannah said. "I'm afraid sometimes but fight through my fear. I MUST do it to help Cameron. Sometimes you have to do what you know is the right thing, even if it's dangerous."
Savannah learned sometimes you have to make a hard choice and just do it. You know it's the right choice and the cards will land where they fall.
Young Allison knew that sometimes Savannah needed to kill. She didn't want to say it that way. It was still part of the job.
"You've needed to 'hurt' people before." Young Allison said. "I've read all the reports."
Savannah knew they both knew she killed more than a few Grays and deactivated a few Terminators.
"I have but it was only to defend myself or Cameron." Savannah said. "I know you're a big girl now but is that what you really want to know?"
Young Allison wanted Savannah to know she was 'ready' for more.
"Yes, other things too…." Young Allison said. "My school work is at a much higher level than my age group. I know a lot. I know you did too growing up."
Savannah was aware that was true. She also believed that Young Allison would be superior to her in every way.
"I do know that." Savannah said. "You're learning everything at an accelerated rate compared to me. You will be much better at everything than I am."
Young Allison wanted to know more and do more.
"I know you've been to the future, several of them." Young Allison said. "I want to hear from you what it's like and what you saw and experienced."
Savannah looked around. She knew CamNet monitored everything. She didn't want her personal or private thoughts 'captured'. She figured Cameron would view them.
"Let's go for a walk." Savannah said.
Young Allison's eyes widened.
"Do you mean just the two of us?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah wasn't sure what Young Allison thought she meant. She had a pretty good idea. She didn't need to be a Terminator to scan Young Allison to know she was aroused right now. She wanted to keep her grounded some.
"You know that's not possible." Savannah said. "Cammy and Anna will worry about us if we slip out. We have to think of how everything we do affects others. It is VERY important we think of others, always."
Savannah knew to be a good leader everyone else must come first. She watched Cameron do this in the first future she visited. Cameron always put everyone else first. She also saw Cameron do it in the second future, Cameron's own future. She knew Cameron did it here as well.
They got up to head out. Savannah was ready to tell Cammy and Anna to follow them with their audio off. She wanted them to be able to speak freely with each other. She expected there to be some sexual talk. She didn't want to encourage or discourage Young Allison.
Young Allison looked at the monitors again. She sat back down and brought up some other screens to review.
Right away Savannah picked up a danger vibe. It seemed that Young Allison spotted something was wrong.
"What is it?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison was able to see where everyone was at on her satellite map. CamNet could show where they'd been as well
"I'm not sure." Young Allison said. "Our teams are being led around in circles."
That spelled only one thing to Savannah.
"It may be an ambush!" Savannah said. "You must notify John Henry."
Young Allison thought Savannah should. She felt she'd intervened too much already.
"You do it, quickly." Young Allison said.
Savannah immediately contacted John Henry and relayed what Young Allison indicated.
Young Allison didn't like to get directly involved. She'd done that earlier.
"Normally I have Anna do it through CamNet." Young Allison said.
Savannah understood what Young Allison was worried about. It wasn't her ability or intelligence.
"Is it because of your age?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison looked down and then directly into Savannah's eyes.
"Yes." Young Allison said. "Only you can understand me since you experienced the same things. I may still be in a girl's body but I'm not a girl education wise or emotionally."
Savannah could see Young Allison possessed more than a girl's body. She was well on her way to a young lady. It also reminded her how alone she'd felt around that age
"I grew very lonely around the age you are now." Savannah said. "I try to make sure you don't feel that way."
Savannah didn't think it was wise to tell Young Allison she saw what everyone else was doing around her and wanted the same thing. She'd begun to pleasure herself ten or twelve times a day. She tried to be with Jesse and even John. None of them would touch her. In that instant she realized that very soon Young Allison was going to do the same thing with her. At least Young Allison had her family. She didn't have anyone.
Young Allison wanted to make sure Savannah knew what she wanted.
"I know you're always there for me." Young Allison said. "I KNOW you'll always be there for me."
The girls shared a knowing look. They both knew they were going to be lovers one day. That day seemed real close right now.
"I will." Savannah said. "I swear it."
Young Allison hoped when she 'grew lonely' that Savannah would be there for her. Every day she thought about it. She didn't want Savannah to know she'd begun to pleasure herself several times a day. It was always Savannah or Cameron that she thought of.
Derek's team received the alert from John Henry. They all started evasive maneuvers and took divergent routes. They were going to rendezvous and rejoin to increase their firepower.
"What about the truck?" Derek asked. "We may lose it."
John feared an ambush more than he did losing the cargo in the truck.
"I would rather lose the truck than any of our group." John said. "There are too many questions in this for an unknown payoff. We have the tracker on it."
Derek thought about Riley and their baby on the way. This 'recon' mission was now way beyond that as they always seemed to do. He knew John was worried about him. He also knew Cameron would be all over John if things got worse.
Bob thought some more flexibility would be a good around this time.
"Maybe I should have kept the bike." Bob said.
He referred to the motorcycle he'd 'borrowed' earlier.
"You can always 'borrow' another one, if we need it." Derek said.
John was a little perplexed as to what was actually happening.
"We have four vehicles out with the truck, along with the van and the SUV we were following." John said. "They haven't really gone anywhere."
John Henry thought about that. Maybe the destination was closer than they thought.
"Maybe they actually don't have far to go." John Henry said.
John could picture that. It seemed an elaborate way to check for a tail.
"That could be." John said. "It really makes me wonder why there needs to be all the 'cloak and dagger' routine."
John Henry thought it must be the cargo.
"There may be a bigger prize here than we think." John Henry said.
John knew it could be that. They could also see what they wanted to see.
"Maybe we're reading more into this than there is." John said. "It may be like what we've thought we encountered before."
John Henry knew what the bottom line always was.
"You know Skynet in some form is behind this." John Henry said.
John frowned. Skynet meant Cameron's involvement at some point
"Aren't they always?" John asked. "Maybe we need to notify Cameron about this."
John Henry was sure CamNet already made the notification to Cameron.
"I'm sure she already knows." John Henry said. "She needs to let the rest of us share some of the burden."
John frowned again.
"Good Luck." John said.
John knew Cameron wanted desperately to protect him and everyone else too.
Ally and Sheila just rescued some girls from the sex trade.
"Do you have clothes?" Ally asked.
The girls didn't know where there clothes were. They'd been naked for over a week. They'd all been abused numerous times.
"I know where some are at." Ally said. "Follow me."
Ally led the girls into the room where Sheila was at.
There were two men on the beds and one nude dead man on the floor. There were three piles of clothes neatly folded.
The short girl still carried the thug's gun. She lifted it as soon as she saw the two men. It was clear she was about to shoot them. They'd abused her and the others so it was understandable for her to want some retribution or payback.
"This is sweet." The short girl said.
Sheila could see the girl's passion. The 'Jesse' in her called out to 'help' the girl find justice. She gently lowered the short girl's raised gun down.
"It's all up to you." Sheila said.
The short girl wanted vengeance.
"I'll take care of them." The short girl said.
There was nothing but terror in the two men's eyes.
Ally didn't want the other girls to be a part of something they didn't want to do.
"You two can leave if you want." Ally said. "We can take you to the hospital or the authorities."
The other two girls wanted to leave. They dressed. Sheila told the short girl she might want to wait before she put her clothes on. The short girl understood.
Ally took the other two girls away.
Sheila wanted some answers.
"I'll tell you what to do and when." Sheila said.
The short girl nodded.
"I want them to suffer." The short girl said.
Sheila smiled.
"Believe me, they will." Sheila said.
The short girl looked at the gun.
"When do we start?" The short girl asked.
Sheila began to ask questions.
When Do We Start
Everything in life
Is about making a choice
It matters not
If one has a voice
People like to gamble
They roll the dice
About the consequences
They seldom think twice
When people don't get
Everything they want
They're more than likely
To pull a stupid stunt
Most are willing
To take more than they give
They really don't care
Who will perish or live
Even to know all that
People think they're too smart
Driven by lust and greed
They ask when do we start
Nobody
