At a sunny day, Ruby oversees Tatsumi And Bulats Aura Training for the day since she was more experienced with Aura.

"Remember, If you keep inserting aura into your weapons it doesn't just make them more durable, it can cause more damage too." Ruby reminded as the two grip their weapons tighter "But don't rely too much on the defense and boost it gives you. Once you take too much hits and Your Aura breaks, You'll be left vulnerable."

"Gotcha." Bulat gave a thumbs up while Tatsumi Nodded.

"Good. Now get back to sparring and Only Aura infused weapons. Nothing else." Ruby ordered while the two nod.

She sits back and watches as they Train their Aura more.

"You're handling the Aura training pretty good." She looks back and Sees Najenda walking over with a complement.

"Eh. I learned from the best myself. So I remembered some teaching pointers." Ruby answered.

"Then you should teach us all you can." Najenda said "If we unlock the Auras of just a few of our most capable soldiers we can fight back against the empire far better than before."

"...uuugh So How many more peoples Auras do I have to unlock?" Ruby asked with a groan.

"Well...Can't you at least teach Me how to do that?" Najenda curiously asked "that way some of the hard work can fall on my shoulders too."

"That one takes a LOT more concentration than just Infusing Aura into your weapons or body. It's practically pulling out someone's Aura from their souls by using your own Aura. I'm even surprised I managed to pull it off considering that I've NEVER done it before." Ruby Explained.

"Which means we have to first master our own Aura first, right?" Najenda asked as Ruby nodded.

"Just give it time. It took me a long time to get good with my own Aura, It's practically the same with everyone." Ruby assured.

"I'll take your word for it then, Seeing you're the teacher in this part." Najenda nodded.

But suddenly, Ruby and Najenda see a very Grumpy Leone with Lion Features again, walking back into the hideout.

"Still no luck huh?" Ruby chuckled.

"Nothing happened!" Leone yelled.

Over the past few days, Leone was trying to awaken her Semblance by fighting Danger beasts in the wild without end. Because Ruby explained that she got her Semblance first when she was fighting a bigger Creature of Grimm, Which was a deathstalker at the time. So this just sparked the idea for Leone to unlock her own semblance by continuously fighting a big number of Danger beasts over and over again.

"Leone, It doesn't always work like that." Ruby tried to reason with Leone "It's not always life-threatening situations, it's mostly times when your emotions are at their highest or when you want to protect something or someone with everything you have."

"Well that just makes it harder!" Leone whined before she then grabbed onto ruby again and pulled her face into her chest again while hugging her "Pleeeeease tell me there is a shortcut!"

"No...There...Isn't..." Ruby managed to speak while her face was buried into Leones breasts.

She then used her semblance to escape from Leones Grip "And Stop doing that!"

"Awww Why?~" Leone innocently asked.

"Because It's weird." Ruby answered "Now if you excuse me I have some teachings to do!" She then walks back to Bulat and Tatsumi in the training ground.

"Hmmmmph. Joy kill." Leone pouted.

"I have to agree with her Leone. You really need to stop being so clingy on her." Najenda admitted.

"Awww." Leone pouted more "...But I'm not gonna stop~~"

"Ruuubyyyy~~~" Leone greeted before she grabbed Ruby from behind and pulled her into a hug "Wanna hang out?"

"I'm Busy!" Ruby answered as she got out of Leones hug.

"Awww~ Okaaaay~~" Leone nodded while Ruby walked away

"Ruuuubyyyyy~~~~" Leone then suddenly hugged Ruby from behind again in the training ground With Akame also there "Wanna go to the capital for a bit?"

"I can't!" Ruby answered trying to get Leone away.

"Why not~~" Leone asked

"Leone, She's helping me with my Aura Training." Akame answered "And after that she still has Writing lessons with Sheele again."

"Awww" Leone pouted.

"Rubyyy~~" Leone tried again, But Ruby dodged this time!

"No." Ruby Answered before She even asks and walks away.

"Aww Come on!" Leone Pouted.

"Rubyyy~~~" Leone called out.

"Busy here!" Ruby called out from the workshop.

"fiiiiiiine" Leone whined.

"Ruby~~" Leone called out.

"Cleaning duty! Busy!" Ruby answered as she walked away.

"Aw man...Wait...Wasn't Lubbock on Cleaning duty today?" Leone Wondered.

"Ruby?" Leone called out "Wanna hang out?"

"Sorry. Busy here." Ruby answered as she was working on her Crescent Rose at the moment.

"How long is that gonna take exactly?" Leone asked.

"...All night." Ruby answered.

"...Fine. Call me if you need something." Leone nodded and walked away.

"Ruby?" Leone approaches the younger girl, Who in turn walks past her.

"Can't! Gotta go somewhere! busy!" Ruby said in a rush as she ran and even used her semblance to burst away a bit later.

"...Okay?" Leone said with confusion.

"Hey Ruby." Leone tried to approach Ruby.

"Sorry, Got something to do right now." Ruby answered as she walked away.

"..." Leone just watches her go.

"She's totally trying to Avoid me!" Leone grumbled with Lubbock and Tatsumi present.

"She's probably just tired of having you being clingy on her?" Tatsumi guessed.

"Oh shut up! I haven't been trying to for almost a week now!" Leone shot back "And she STILL wants to avoid me! Heck most of the times I've seen that she doesn't even want to make eye contact with me!"

"Jeez did you say or do something to her?" Lubbock asked.

"Literally nothing." Leone answered "there was that one time I tried t scam her the first time We met but It apologized about that! Seriously what's up with her about me!?"

"Sis, You're thinking too hard on this." Tatsumi suggested "Look, Alongside Sheele teacher her and teaching us how to use our Aura, she still has to go on missions right? She's pretty busy to me."

"I offered to go on one of our jobs with her and she said she could handle it herself." Leone said "She IS avoiding me! And I'm getting to the bottom of it!"

"Maybe you shouldn't sis." Lubbock said with a bit of worry "You should probably offer her some Cookies first! She loves those."

"Yeah! You're right! Where do we keep the rest of our Cookies?" Leone asked.

"Oh Boy." Tatsumi sighed, feeling as if a disaster is coming up soon.

"You did great today." Ruby said as she and Akame walked away from the training ground "But next time, Don't try to harden your Aura. It only causes it to run out faster."

"Right." Akame Nodded.

"Ruby! lookie here!" Leone called out and presented a plate of Cookies "got some left! Wanna have them?"

'Got some Cookies left! Wanna take them?'

"Uh...Yeah. That's nice of you." Ruby took the Plate, trying to get a certain memory out of her head.

"Soooo, How've you been?" Leone asked.

"Mostly good." Ruby answered as all three walk together.

"So hey. You free right now? I wanna talk to you about something." Leone asked.

"About what?" Ruby asked.

"Meh. Girl stuff." Leone said.

"Um...Sorry but I'm kinda_"

"No you're not." Leone cuts her off "You're perfectly free and your schedule is completely empty right now. I checked with the boss and you don't have anything else to do, and you just checked your weapon yesterday."

"Eh? W-Wait did you_"

"So you're totally free!" Leone had her cornered while Akame just watches, feeling like she is left out of this conversation "You can't sneak your way out of this one~. Or maybe you got something embarrassing to hide?~"

'Got something cute to hide?~'

Another memory flashed before Rubies eyes, as she quickly shacks it off

"I-I don't I just...I'm a little tired that's all."

"Tired?" Leone then leans in a bit "So do you want Big Sis Leone to carry you back to your room?~~"

'You want big sis to carry you to bed?~'

"No. I'm just...really not in the mood." Ruby answered, trying to just get this conversation over and done with.

"You seemed to be in a good mood just now when you gave out pointers to Akame." Leone pointed out the flaws in rubies argument.

"...L-look Leone just...Tell me what you want." Ruby said.

"Just to talk." Leone said "What is that a bad thing for two friends to talk?"

"I'm just not feeling it okay?" Ruby said.

"Not feeling it to talk? Or not feeling it to talk to me?" Leone questioned.

"Ugh, Just, stop playing with my head!" Ruby said as she just handed Akame the Cookie plate and began to walk away.

"Hey wait! I'm not even_" Leone tried to call out.

"Just leave me alone!" Ruby said as she walks on.

"Wha? Oh that is IT." Leone angrily declared as she starts to walk toward Ruby "I'm done being nice here!"

"Leone wait. You might make it worse." Akame warned.

"And if I don't, she'll just keep up this attitude of hers!" Leone shot back as she runs ahead against Akames protests, and quickly grabbed Ruby by the shoulder and presses her against the wall by force!

"What the-Leone the hell!" Ruby said as she tried to break free of Leones grip.

"Alright Girly! I'm done trying to use sweet talking for our problem here!" Leone explained aggressively "Now tell me what the hell is wrong already!"

"What are you talking about?! There's nothing Wrong!" Ruby answered.

"Quit lying! You've been avoiding me every chance you get!" Leone yelled.

"I-I haven't!" Ruby tried to deny the accusation.

"You're still lying!" Leone yelled.

"Leone stop!" Akame tried to intervene which Leone Ignored.

"What the hell Did I even do to you?!" Leone demanded.

"N-Nothing! You did nothing wrong okay?!" Ruby yelled back.

"Then why are you trying to ignore me?!" Leone asked again.

"I'm NOT!" Ruby yelled again.

"Yes you ARE!" Leone yelled again.

"Enough! Both of you!" Akame tried to separate the too which didn't work.

"Listen here young lady! I'm not letting you go until you finally fess up!" Leone yelled.

'Now look here young lady! I'm not gonna let you go until you tell me what happened to you today!'

"I-I don't have anything to F-Fess up!" Ruby said, trying her best not to show her cracking voice while the memories all flow back.

"OH there you go again! Lying straight into my face!" Leone yelled.

'there you go again, throwing cute dishonesty in your big sisters face~'

"S-Stop It! J-Just l-let me G-g-go!" Ruby began to beg, Which only Akame noticed the crack in her voice and went unnoticed to Leone.

"Look I just want to know what the problem is!" Leone said as she calmed down a bit.

'I only want to know what happened to you ruby. I really are about you!'

"S-Stop it!" Ruby tried to push Leone back as best as she could, while Akame did her best to pull Leone off of Ruby which the Blonde didn't even budge.

"Damn it I'm just trying to help you dumbass!" Leone angrily yelled.

'I'll always help you out. anytime.'

'Everyone's gonna call you the bees knees!'

'I thought it'd help break out of your shell!'

'I love it when you get feisty!'

'Whatever happens, We'll keep following you Ruby.'

'I'm sorry...I should...have been...a better sister for you...'

"STOP IT!" Ruby then finally snapped with tears bursting out of her eyes, as she pushed Not just Leone but Akame away too and fell on her knees, as the two are stunned at her suddenly crying now "I can't...Hic...I-I just can't...Sniff...Just...stop...sniff..."

"Ru...by?" Leone asked, not just confused but absolutely guilt-tripped by this.

"Ruby?! What's wrong?" Akame asked as she knelt down next to Ruby.

"Stop...Just...go away I-I can't...I just can't..." Ruby kept mumbling with more tears coming.

"H-Hey...I-I'm sorry I didn't_" Leone tried to speak.

*Wooosh!*

"Ruby wait!" Akame called out as they watch Ruby use her semblance to fly away as fast as she could.

'...What the hell have I done?' Leone Asked herself, Feeling an rageful urge to just punch herself.

After what happened, Akame had been trying to look for Ruby after she ran off.

She went to Rubies room, Only to find it empty. So she left the hideout into the forest, following a faint trail of Rose petals.

As she followed the trail of roses, She found Ruby sitting down by a tree, still sobbing while burying her face into her knees.

"...Ruby?" Akame called out, but Ruby only kept crying and didn't even notice Akame.

Seeing that she wasn't emotionally stable, Akame slowly walks toward ruby and gently pulls her into a comforting hug.

Finally noticing that Akame was there, Ruby slowly hugs her and cries into Akames shoulder while the other girl gently pads the back of her head.

"Its okay...let it all out." Akame soothingly whispered, Letting Ruby to release her sadness.

After a few minutes, Ruby finally stopped and They both just sat down under the tree.

"...Sniff... I'm Sorry..." Ruby said.

"Don't be. It's okay." Akame assured "...But what happened back there? Why...did you suddenly get sad?"

"...A while back...Leone...She kind of told me about how you and...Your sister got into the capital in the first place." Ruby explained while Akame listened "Is...your sister..."

"No. She's still alive." Akame answered "I tried to bring her with me...but I couldn't succeed."

"Oh...How is your sister like? if you don't mind me asking?"

"...She's really cute. As far as I remember she really likes Cookies and snacks, Not how you do however. When we reunited Back then We used to snuggle in bed until she fell asleep on me." Akame answered with nostalgia and a little bit of happiness.

"Heheheh...Me and my sister used to do that too..." Ruby chuckled a bit.

"...What?" Akame said with surprise and shock "You and...Your sister?...you used to...?"

"Y-Yeah...I...Used to have an older sister...she...Sh-She..." Rubies voice started to crack again "...She bled out...I-In my a-Arms..."

"...Oh my god..." Akame gasped at her answer. She slowly wrapped a hand over Rubies shoulder and pulled her closer for comfort, Which Ruby laid her head on Akames shoulder for comfort "I'm...sorry you had to share that...But, What about Leone? Did she...in some way remind you of your sister?"

"...Remind me?...I wish that was All there was to it..." Ruby answered "It's because..." She then whispered something into Akames ear...Which caused her red eyes to go wide in shock.

"...R-Really?" Akame asked, Completely stunned.

"...I wish it was just some cruel joke...but it's true...and...I just...I just Couldn't...E-Everytime she speaks or looks at me ALL I see is..." Ruby tried to explain further, only to give up and hug Akame close.

Akame hugged Ruby back tightly, Still in shock of Rubies Answer.

"...I know it wasn't Leones fault...but I just...I really can't keep facing her and keep being reminded of..." Ruby weakly spoke.

"Shh. You don't have to continue... it's okay." Akame tried to comfort.

"No it's not okay!" Ruby declined and got out of Akames arms and stood up "I know that Leone didn't do anything wrong, And it's not fair what I've been doing to her! I'm... I'm trying to just move on! I thought I can finally be over it and live my life and focus on what's important here in this line of work! But...I just don't know anymore...I just wish I could move on...Like how you probably did..."

"...Move on...?" Akame said as she stood up too while looking down, her hair shadowing her eyes"...You're wrong...I never moved on..."

"W-Wha?" Ruby said as she looks at Akame.

"Losing people that you consider family and friends...It's never an easy thing to move on from." Akame began to explain "It's okay if you want to mourn the loss of anyone you cherish. There's no shame or anything wrong with it. But...I just don't want my emotions to get in the way of my missions."

"Akame..." Ruby said.

"I understand how you feel. But don't let it hurt you like this. I understand why you wouldn't talk about it...but you made a promise to me, Remember?" Akame spoke.

"...Yeah, I do. And I'm still gonna keep it." Ruby said, wiping away all the remaining tears in her eyes and smiles at Akame "Thanks. I really needed that."

"Sure thing." Akame smiles back.

"...I'm done trying to ignore this." Ruby declared "I'm gonna explain everything to Leone."

"Are you sure you can?" Akame asked, worried about Rubies Emotional stability.

"I'll try." Ruby nodded "Let's go back."

As the two walk back, Ruby walks around the hideout and finally Finds Leone looking around in the Training ground.

"...I guess she's looking for me..." ruby said to herself as she walked toward Leone "Hey Leone."

"EH?" Leone gasped as she heard Ruby's voice and turns back. She then sprints toward her worried "Where'd you go?! I looked EVERYWHERE for you!"

"Sorry. Needed some time alone to myself." Ruby apologized "But that aside...Can we talk? Alone? In my room?"

"...Okay, Sure." Leone nodded.

"Good." Ruby said as they both walked to her room.

Ruby closed the door behind them and sat on the bed, and offered Leone a place on the bed to sit down on too.

Leone sits right infront of Ruby "...So you got something to tell me?"

"Yeah...I need to explain something to you. But...Promise you won't get...freaked out or weirded out okay?" Ruby asked

"...I can try. It depends on what you want to tell me though." Leone answered.

"Okay...So...First of all:...I used to have an older sister." Ruby said, while Leone is surprised by this "Her name...Was Yang. She...Died in my arms a long time ago."

"...Oh...I'm sorry to hear that...But...What does this have to do with_"

"To do with what happened today? No, It has to do with why I've been avoiding you all this time." Ruby explains "...Because...Leone...You...You look EXACTLY like her."

"...W-What?" Leone asked, completely stunned.

"You have the same hair color as her...the same face...the same attitude and personality...the same likes, a few of the dislikes, the same temper...You even have the same clothing fashion as her. Heck, she used to wear the same Tube Top as yours! But Hers was yellow tho." Ruby explains further "It's like...It's as if you ARE her."

"...Holy shit..." Leone said, still in shock at this development.

"L-Look I'm sorry. It's just that every time you told me to call you sis...or every time you said something funny or stupid, I kept being Reminded of Yang and...It just hurt me every time I was reminded of how she died." Ruby said as she wiped a small little tear from the corner of her eye "I'm...really sorry I did all that to you because of my own issues."

"Hey it's okay! Now I can at least understand why you did that..." Leone said.

"...are...you okay with this? After knowing all of that are you really fine with it?" Ruby asked, worried about Leone feeling bad about this.

"..." Leone just kept silent, and then just suddenly pulled Ruby in for another hug. But this time instead of just for teasing...it was comforting, warm and caring.

"L-Leone?" Ruby slightly gasped.

"Ruby, First of all: I'm sorry that I reminded you of all that depressing stuff." Leone said as she hugs Ruby closer "Second: I won't try to replace your sister for you, but I swear I'm still gonna be the best friend you'll ever gonna need."

"You...Mean it?" Ruby asked.

"Yup! So don't be so sad about it anymore, okay?" Leone said "Wouldn't want you crying all day by yourself! You look better when you smile anyway!"

"...eheheh...Thanks." Ruby smiled as she hugged Leone back tightly "...Can you please stay a bit longer?"

"Sure! If you want we can even have a sleep over! Just you and me!" Leone cheered.

"Heheh...Thanks...Sis." Ruby mumbled as she hugged Leone closer.

"...Sure thing Ruby." as Leone spoke again, Ruby slightly jolted, because instead of Leones voice...she could swear she heard Yangs voice instead "Anything for you."

...Ruby just smiled, and hugged Leone closer peacefully as the two enjoy their moment.
