After Blitz's brush with death from the murder family, Stolas forced him to stay in the manor until the baby was born. Loona took over leading I.M.P., and even Octavia sometimes popped over to the office to take Loona's place as secretary while they went to earth. Stolas had converted one of the guest rooms into a nursery for the baby. And Blitz with his love of horses left a few stuffed horse toys in the nursery and even a horse mobile. With all of Blitz's mood swings and spacing out, he was excited to meet their little bundle of joy. Blitz wanted to be surprised with the gender of the baby when it was born.
Well, two months and a week passed and the baby wasn't born yet. The baby was supposed to be born three days ago but it never happened. Blitz was getting annoyed and impatient for the baby to be born already. Stolas would always keep Blitz comfortable and happy that way the baby would be born on its own time. Millie and Moxxie would come by to check up on Blitz after work. Even Kara would come by the manor and bring different kinds of tea for Blitz, sew baby clothes, and she would even watch over Blitz when Stolas had meetings. Little did Blitz know, this baby was gonna bring him and his family closer.
Stolas was at a big meeting that he couldn't get out of, so Kara was at the manor with Blitz to keep him company. While Kara was making lunch for the both of them, Blitz was looking at old family photos from when he was a kid. Kara had just walked into the living room with lunch trays when she saw from the corner of her eye the photo on Blitz's phone. It was a photo of young Blitz with a female imp who looked almost identical to him. "Who's that?" Kara asked.
Blitz was startled hearing Kara's voice then he tried to hide his phone. "I don't know what you're talking about!" Blitz snapped.
"Blitz… I saw the photo. Who was that?" Kara asked, again.
Blitz took a deep breath and then handed his phone to Kara so she could see the photo. "That's my twin sister, Barbie Wire. We used to be so close until an incident years ago. Now she's in rehab in Sloth Ring and I hardly see her. I did invite her to the wedding to try and make up with her but she never came." Blitz answered.
"What incident? And why is she in rehab?" Kara asked.
That's when Blitz told Kara that he and Barbie grew up in the Greed Ring with their parents in their family circus. Barb was a natural on the high wire and Blitz was an acrobat clown with his best friend Fizzarolli. The three of them were so close like siblings. Growing up, the three of them always had each other's back. Even when Blitz's father would always put him down for being a terrible clown, Fizzarolli and Barbie always found ways to cheer him up. Until the incident, it was Fizzarolli's birthday and Blitz had a crush on his best friend. He wrote a letter to Fizz and was about to give it to him when he saw his father give Fizz a car that said, 'Wish you were my son.'
Blitz was heartbroken seeing the card then he stormed off and threw his letter on the ground. He suddenly heard screams coming from the tent and the whole thing was on fire. An explosion from the tent caused scar marks on Blitz's hands and face. Fizzarolli's injuries were way worse; the explosion was caused by a box of fireworks that left Fizz completely damaged. His horns were broken off, his arms and legs were completely burned and unsalvageable, his face was burned as well, and even his vocal cords were damaged. The entire circus was burned down, Fizz was rushed to the hospital but Barb and Blitz lost their mother in the fire.
After that, none of the doctors or nurses would even let Blitz see Fizzarolli, claiming that Fizz didn't want Blitz to see him. Barb took the death of their mother hard; she started staying out late and doing drugs just to numb the pain. It got to the point where Blitz found her passed out from an overdose of H-8. Blitz checked her into rehab and would sometimes check up on her. But even after all that, Blitz was so sure that his sister hated him. The nurses would say the same thing, she didn't want to see him. That's why he sent an invitation to the rehab center for Barb to come to the wedding, he wanted to see her again. But she never came to the wedding.
Kara felt bad for Blitz and hearing his story she wanted to make things right. So she convinced Blitz that she would take him to Sloth to visit Barb in rehab. Blitz wasn't too sure about leaving the manor, heavily pregnant. But Kara promised him that it'll be a quick visit, in and out, no problems. With that, Kara helped Blitz into her car and the two of them drove to the Sloth Ring. When they arrived at the rehab center, Kara helped Blitz out of the car and the two of them went inside. The nurse gave Blitz glares and Blitz glared right back at her. "Well if it isn't the deadbeat." the nurse said.
"Well if it isn't Nurse Pussy Face." Blitz snapped back.
"You ain't getting in here. Go back to your prince sugar daddy baby." the nurse said, snarky.
"You know I kill people for a living, right bitch?"
Kara groaned before turning to the nurse, "We're here to see Barbie Wire." she said, trying to break the fight between the nurse and Blitz.
"She doesn't want to see you. Now beat it." the nurse said.
"Excuse me? But I think Barb can answer for herself. Let her know that she has visitors." Kara said, repressing her anger.
The nurse scoffed at Kara then she told them to leave again. "And don't bother coming back. Barbs never gonna want to see her deadbeat brother. Should've rotted in greed." the nurse said.
With the hormones kicking in, Blitz looked like he was about to cry. Kara snarled at the nurse then she grabbed the nurse by the throat. Kara spoke in a low demonic voice, threatening the nurse to let them see Barb or else. The nurse almost shit herself before letting Blitz and Kara see Barb. Kara let the nurse go then she and Blitz went to Barb's room. "Wow! I don't think I have ever seen you that angry. I mean, Loona, I can see. My sister? Yeah, I've seen her beat her ex-boyfriend. But you? I thought you were a goody-two shoes." Blitz stated.
"Hey. I can be scary when I need to be." Kara stated.
They found the room that Barb was staying in. Blitz knocked on the door to the room, someone opened the door, Barbie Wire, Blitz's sister. She was surprised to see her brother here and pregnant no less. Blitz waddled towards the bed and sat down on it. Kara stood outside the door, giving the twins space to talk. "Blitzo, why are you here? Shouldn't you be with the Goetia Prince?" Barb asked.
"The O is silent now. And I thought you would have come to my wedding." Blitz stated.
"I never got the invite. I would have liked to meet my new brother-in-law. From what I heard, you adopted a Hellhound, you're the stepfather to a Goetia Princess, and you run a killing business. I saw your cheesy commercial."
"Hey. The commercial is not cheesy!"
"Oh really? It has an annoying jingle. Also, kids die for free?"
"That was a last-minute add-on! Plus that kid had it coming for insulting my children."
Barb giggled then she put her hand on Blitz's stomach. She felt the baby kick, and it gave her a new feeling. "Blitzo… Um, Blitz, I owe you an apology. You didn't fuck up my life. I was a mess and you were looking out for me."
"Hey, I'm your brother. Besides, I think my kids would like to have their cool Aunt Barb in their lives."
"Cool Aunt, Huh? I could get used to that. But I wanna help with your company. I've been clean for years and I need to find a place to live and a job. And I was getting over my addiction and withdrawals when you had the wedding. I would have come but the stupid staff kept me in rehab and banned me from leaving."
At least that explained why Barb wasn't at the wedding. Blitz pulled his sister into a tight hug as a way to say that he understood. Just then, Blitz felt his stomach cramping up followed by wetness in his pants. He started to pull away from his sister and then panted and groaned in pain. "Blitz? What's wrong?" Barb asked, concerned.
"The baby… It's coming." Blitz mustered out.
Barb forced Blitz to lie down on the bed while she called for Kara to get into the room. With Kara's powers, she turned Barbie's bed into a hospital bed for Blitz. She tried to call Stolas on her phone but it just went straight to voicemail. She then called Moxxie and told him to get Loona and Octavia and head to the rehab center in Sloth, Blitz was having the baby. Barb ordered the nurses to get towels, hot water, and blankets. She then asked Kara to go outside and wait for Stolas and the others to show up. As for Barb, she was gonna help deliver the baby herself.
"Blitz, I'm sure Stolas will be here soon. But I'm here and I'm gonna help deliver my niece or nephew. Besides, this isn't the first time I've helped deliver a baby." Barb stated.
"Delivering a foal is not the same thing as delivering a baby imp or a crossbreed, or I don't know!" Blitz screamed then he hissed in pain, "Christ on a stick! I'm gonna kill Stolas for doing this to me!"
Moxxie and Millie finally arrived at the rehab center with Loona and Octavia. But there was no sign of Stolas yet. Moxie and Millie ran inside the room where Blitz was giving birth. "Oh good, you must be my brothers' employees. Grab a hand and let my brother crush yours." Barb ordered.
"Brother?!" Moxie asked.
"Yeah, yeah, this is my fucking twin sister, Barbie! Now can we get back to the pregnant man?! AHH! Satan fucking dammit!" Blitz shouted, cursing his head off.
Millie and Moxxie each grabbed Blitz's hands just as Barb said that the baby was crowning. She kept telling Blitz to push and he was. He kept pushing, screaming, and gripping onto Millie and Moxxie's hands like it was the last thing in Hell. Moments later, Blitz had given birth to a beautiful baby boy. Blitz was panting and sweating like crazy after the birth. "Oh thank satan! It's over." Blitz said.
"Um, Blitz."
"What? We're done, right?" Blitz said until he was in pain again, "What the fuck?!"
"That's what I was trying to tell you! There's another one coming!" Barb shouted.
"What?! The doctor said that it was just one!"
Meanwhile, Loona and Octavia were with Kara outside the room waiting for the babies to be born. They could hear Blitz screaming and cussing from the pain. "And I'm not having kids," Loona muttered.
Just then, a portal opened and Stolas stepped out of the portal, frantically looking for Blitz. Kara had to hold Stolas back from going into the room. She told him that Blitz was okay, and his sister was handling the delivery. But Stolas was determined to see his husband and child. He barged into the room; thankfully Blitz was done giving birth to the second baby. Stolas shoved Moxxie out of the way and hugged his husband tight. "Blitzy. I'm so glad you're ok!" Stolas said. "Where's the baby?"
"Um, Stolas. I have something to tell you."
"Darling, what is it?"
Before Blitz could answer, Millie and Barbie came over with the babies wrapped up in blankets. The baby boy was more like Stolas except he had little nubbed horns, sharper teeth besides a beak, and imp-like eyes. The baby had a mix of white and red feathers but had gray tail feathers. The second baby was a girl who looked a little more imp-like. She had red skin, little nubbed horns, and even an imp tail. Though she did have talons for feet and even owl-like eyes. She also had small feathers on the ends of her tail. Stolas had tears streaming down his face seeing his newborn son and daughter.
"You must be my brother's husband. I'm Barbie Wire, folks call me Barb. And it's safe to say that you two have a pair of healthy twins." Barb stated.
"Finally nice to meet Blitzy's sister," Stolas said.
Barb snickered, "Blitzy?!"
"Stolas, can you not call me that in front of my sister? She'd find anything to use against me." Blitz said.
"Too late, Blitzy," Barb said with a smirk.
"Just give me my kids."
Millie and Barb put the babies in Blitz's arms just as Loona and Octavia came in. They were so excited to meet their new baby brother and baby sister. Blitz named their son Spiroz while Stolas named their daughter, Helia.
