Chapter 795
Last Dance
John and John Henry monitored the teams in the field. There were still three teams looking for any of the boxcars that were stored or being moved around the rail lines to avoid detection. Cammy and the Metal girls were an extra team. They currently checked every possible location on the 'Coast Line'.
John Henry was a little surprised to hear from Cammy's team so soon.
"I've received an alert from Cammy's team." John Henry said.
John thought that things were a little sedate for Cammy's team so far.
"What did they find?" John asked. "There haven't been any updates from them for awhile."
John figured why they stayed dark for most of the journey. This was a low risk assignment and would probably not bear any fruit. He knew the girls would get the job done even if it was a mundane job. It's what they did. They stayed with the task until it was accomplished. It was a Terminator thing.
John Henry knew what their task was, even if he didn't know all the details.
"They're physically checking every industrial siding for a building that has a rail line that goes inside of it. I mean actually into the building itself. Some of those locations are remote and isolated." John Henry said. "I don't know what they've found."
John would like to see a little body cam footage to know what was happening. He personally didn't want to ask them for that. He was pretty sure what images he would get from Sheila when she found out he wanted to see some body cam footage. It wasn't so much that he minded the images. It was that he didn't want to get caught by Cameron for looking at them.
"We need some visuals." John said. "They've most likely not found anything."
John Henry hoped to have a visual in the next few seconds.
"I'm trying to communicate with Cammy." John Henry said. "We have her body cam feed."
John and John Henry were a little surprised at what the first image they saw was. It appeared to be body cam footage of a van that was torn to shreds. It started to smoke.
John sat up in his chair. It appeared they must have made a solid contact with an image like that.
"What the Hell? Whose van is that?" John asked. "What happened to it?"
John Henry was able to determine the van was chewed up by minigun fire. It could be from an HK drone or from an HK Track. Based upon the damage he could see to the van, it didn't appear to be from an HK drone.
"It looks like an HK Track has attacked it." John Henry said. "This appears to have happened just seconds ago."
There was a running motion to the camera as it swung wildly from side to side.
There was a ladder and then something flashed in front of the body cam.
John wasn't exactly sure what he saw even though he knew what he saw was.
"What was that?" John asked. "That was someone's naked rear end."
John Henry was able to correlate the images with the past body cam images that Sheila sent him. There was a second person that was visible as well. They seemed to be similarly attired or in this case, unattired.
"It looked like Sheila's rear end." John Henry said. "That must be Cammy's rear end. No, that's Ally's rear end. There was no jewelry present. I'm on Cammy's feed."
John thought how much it looked like Cameron's rear end. Wait. Did John Henry just indicate that Cammy now had jewelry in that same location as Sheila? He hoped to be able to see some body cam footage of that. Cameron usually did the nipple rings a few times every year for a week or two at a time. She'd only installed the lower rings once. That was only for a day. She said they were uncomfortable with her tight clothing. He actually believed it was for another reason. It was probably his fault. Since the rings were there they were easy to grasp and pull out a little ways from her body. He was pretty sure that that upset her to see 'things' out that far from where they should be. He knew that was nowhere close to how far Sheila could stretch 'things' based on the images that he'd viewed of that. He just thought Cameron liked everything trim and tucked in. She'd actually mentioned something about the 'Barbie look' one time. He wasn't really sure what that meant. He needed to refocus.
"What happened to them?" John asked. "Where are their clothes?"
John Henry thought of the earlier image of the chewed up van that had started to smoke.
"They're probably burning in the van." John Henry said. "I think they were surprised."
It sounded as if they were caught off guard or taken by surprise to John. That wasn't something that should have happened.
"Do you think they were ambushed?" John asked.
John Henry was able to determine that the girls were partially protected with body armor.
"No, I think that they were just surprised." John Henry said. "There was some time to act. They have weapons. I didn't spot damage on any of them. They're perfectly able to fight with or without clothes. The fact that they actually have their weapons with them shows that they should be able to meet any challenge. They have their vests on."
John looked at the images from Cammy's body cam whenever he could to see 'more' of Sheila and Ally.
"And it appears nothing else." John said.
John Henry wasn't so sure about that. He waited for a new image to flash across the screen.
"Sheila probably has her jewelry on…." John Henry said. "There, I just saw some."
John doubted he would get a close up but he would settle for any view he could get.
"I saw it too. It's rather impressive and bold." John said. "Do you have any drones nearby?"
John Henry scrambled the crew that was on alert. They headed for the Blackhawk.
"No. It's daylight; everything's in a hanger right now." John Henry said. "I have a team boarding the Blackhawk as we speak. They will be wheels up in two minutes."
John didn't think they were going to be much help to the immediate situation. There had to be a fair amount of travel time involved to get to the location where the girls were at.
"How long will it take them to get there?" John asked.
John Henry already made that assessment before he scrambled the crew. He figured that they would probably be a clean up crew more than anything.
"The battle will be concluded, one way or the other before they arrive." John Henry said. "They're too far out to make it before this is over. If the girls are fighting HK Tracks they will need to knock them out soon or they will get chewed up."
John wanted some better answers as to exactly what was going on.
"Let me have their communications." John said.
John didn't like the look of this at all. It appeared the girls were inattentive and weren't ready for combat. They were at least not ready to fight HK Tracks. He wasn't really sure who would ever be ready to do that anyway. HK Tracks were killing machines. No one wanted to face them if they could be avoided. That was unless they had a LAW rocket or a TOW missile.
Seconds Earlier:
Ally could recognize the alarm in Cammy's voice.
"What did you see?" Ally asked.
Cammy only briefly caught a glimpse of the danger. She quickly deduced what was going on and why.
"I think it was an HK Track." Cammy said. "It was headed to where we should have been, instead of where we ended up at when Sheila almost wrecked the van again."
Sheila felt her reckless driving was justified.
"That's called defensive driving." Sheila said.
Ally didn't like the fact that they'd almost wrecked several times to get to that point.
"It's more like offensive driving." Ally said.
Cammy looked at the two naked figures of Ally and Sheila. They only wore their vests and carried their M4s.
"Shut up." Cammy said. "You two look pathetic."
Sheila thought it was all a matter of perspective.
"You didn't say that a while ago when you got a 'close up'." Sheila said.
Cammy did have a 'close up' earlier. She'd experienced that same close up for eight years in the past. She was well acquainted with it. That was the beauty of it, it never got old. Now wasn't the time to dwell on that. Now was the time to avoid getting shot up or terminated.
The girls were able to get out of the van before the HK Track spotted them. If it did spot them running, it would have attacked them first. They needed to get to a place of concealment as quickly as possible. HK Tracks weren't known for operating alone.
An HK Track rumbled around the corner and attacked the van. It opened up on it with its minigun. It shredded it from one end to the other.
Cammy looked back to make sure the HK Track wasn't in 'hot pursuit' of them. The van was wasted, it started to smoke.
The Metal girl's moved around the backside of the building now, away from the HK Track. They heard it attack the van again. There was a loud 'whoosh' sound as the ruptured fuel tank caught fire.
Ally looked down at her scantily clad sheath. She only wore her vest and carried her M4.
"Our clothes are in there." Ally said.
Sheila thought their current attire left a little we desired.
"I think it's more like were in there." Sheila said. "They're burning up."
Cammy detected a new threat in front of them.
"Listen." Cammy said. "There's another HK Track coming from the direction where we're headed."
They could hear the HK Track that attacked the van start to follow them.
It was apparent that there was now an HK Track closing in on them from both sides. That was news they could do without based upon their lack of heavy weaponry
Sheila spotted the roof access ladder to the building. It might serve as a temporary fix. They might be able to scope things out better from on the roof. That was only good for so long. They could be 'made' at any time.
"Quickly, up here." Sheila said. "Maybe there's a way in or we can get a look inside."
The access ladder was close enough for them to get up on before the HK Tracks came around both corners.
Sheila started up the ladder, Ally followed her. Cammy brought up the 'rear'.
Cammy went up the ladder behind Ally and Sheila. She was provided with a clear look at both of their bottoms as they hurried up the ladder. She felt she needed to say something.
"That's a nice view." Cammy said.
Ally looked back at Cammy and then at Sheila above her.
"It's not as nice as my view." Ally said. "I can see two gold rings."
Sheila hurried up the ladder. She briefly looked back down at Ally and Cammy below her.
"If I could, I would give you a 'golden shower'." Sheila said. "I wish I was a human female right now so I could. I would do it too."
Ally thought she would if she could. She was glad that she couldn't.
Sheila was up over the top in just a few seconds. She turned around and pulled Ally up. They both reached down and pulled Cammy up. The first HK Track rumbled around the corner two seconds later. They quietly moved away from the ladder that led to the roof, which they'd just climbed.
The girls knew they needed to be quiet so they didn't give away where they were. They also didn't know who or what was inside the building. There could be anything inside from a squad of Grays to an HK Tread. There could be a Terminator inside as well. They figured anybody inside currently would look out to where the shredded van sat since that's where the activity occurred.
Ally wanted to glance over the lip of the roof at the two HK Tracks below but didn't.
"We really need a LAW rocket now." Ally said.
Cammy wished she would have had a little more time to retrieve some additional weapons from the van.
"There were two of them in the van." Cammy said.
Sheila looked in the direction of the billowing smoke where the van was parked.
"They're gone now." Sheila said. "I would have to say that we're sort of 'high and dry' at this point.
Cammy spotted something and wanted the girls to use additional caution.
"Here's a skylight." Cammy said. "It's painted over. Don't make a shadow on it."
Cammy scratched off the paint in a corner of the glass and peered inside. She wasn't surprised by what she spotted inside.
"There are two boxcars inside." Cammy said.
Cammy fed the information to John Henry now.
Ally wanted to know what else they could see inside. She hoped to get a little better idea of what they were going to have to face. She would have preferred to have a little more clothing in a combat situation.
They could hear both of the HK Tracks stopped moving. They thought that was somewhat strange.
"Are there more HK Tracks or any HK drones inside?" Ally asked. "Sheila, go see where the HK Tracks are at but be careful."
Sheila moved over to the side of the building to see what the two HK Tracks were doing. They currently faced each other. They were probably communicating. They passed each other and each went around the building from the opposite side from which they'd come from. They seemed somewhat dissatisfied that they hadn't been able to locate any additional targets.
Sheila moved back over to where Cammy and Ally were.
"They seem stupid." Sheila said. "The HK Tracks I mean."
Cammy thought they might be a little slow but she was sure they'd look for additional hiding places.
"It is only a matter of time until they figure out we must be up here." Cammy said.
Ally looked in the direction of the smoke that billowed up.
"Maybe they'll think we were in the van." Ally said. "We would've been terminated if we were. They can't know if we're human or Terminators by what they've seen so far."
Sheila didn't think they were going to get off that easy. She wasn't sure if they just went from the frying pan Into the fire with their current location.
"More than likely there's an HK drone on the way and we're sitting ducks up here." Sheila said.
Cammy wanted better concealment as well.
"We need to get inside the building." Cammy said. "It should protect us from an HK drone attack.
Ally looked around the roof of the building. The choices it offered seemed limited.
"There's no roof access from the inside." Ally said. "Let's pry open one of these skylights. We can drop down on top of one of the boxcars."
Cammy wanted to know more about what else was inside the building before they entered it. They would most likely need to use the method Ally put forward. It was sure to put them at high risk.
"Wait." Cammy said. "We need to make sure there are no Grays or Terminators inside. They can light us up where we are now if we're not careful."
Cammy was aware that bullets would tear right through the roof like tissue paper. Their velocity would hardly even be slowed as it happened.
Sheila thought a little bit about the 'reception committee'.
"With those two HK Tracks as sentries. I don't think there's anyone else here." Sheila said.
Cammy wanted everyone to look at the same time in case there was anyone moving around inside. There was a better chance they'd be able to spot them.
"There are two more skylights." Cammy said. "I want each of you take one. Only scratch off the paint in a small corner on each end. We need to hurry. Don't bounce when you walk and don't make a shadow on the skylight."
John Henry currently monitored all air traffic around them.
"I show there's nothing in the air around you that shouldn't be there." John Henry said.
Cammy wanted to check out the boxcars as much as she wanted to get some additional cover.
"That's good to know for now." Cammy said. "We're on the roof. We want to gain access into the interior. There are two boxcars inside."
Ally checked both sides of her skylight.
"I see nothing. There's no movement." Ally said.
Sheila thought she might have found their entry point.
"I don't either." Sheila said. "If we go in this window, we'll be right over one boxcar. It's only a short drop."
Cammy went and looked over one corner of the building, she directed Ally to check the opposite corner.
Both HK Tracks were at their farthest point apart.
"Maybe we should bring the HK Tracks down first." Ally said. "They might be the only things guarding this place."
Cammy wanted to kill two birds with one stone. She wanted to make their response two pronged for a better chance of success.
"Sheila, you go in through the skylight quietly. Ally and I will take the HK Tracks out." Cammy said.
Ally looked down at her vest. It was rather Spartan.
"I don't have any Thermite grenades." Ally said.
Cammy knew they were other ways to take down an HK Track from past experience.
"You have your Taser." Cammy said. "We'll use the method Savannah developed."
Everyone was in position and ready to go.
Cammy and Ally would jump down in back of the HK Tracks and try to shock them with their Tasers. Being at opposite corners from each other, the HK Tracks wouldn't be able to cover each other.
Sheila pried the skylight open. She took a better look around inside. There was no movement of any kind. There could still be plenty of danger hiding and waiting for her.
The three girls were ready to act….
It looked like they were in 'it' and in it deep.
Earlier:
Young Allison swam next to Cameron. Cameron could get good speed in a straight section but needed to slow for the corners to turn around. The nature of the flotation devices made a rapid turn unstable. Cameron still tried it several times and floundered each time.
Holly was mindful of the time. She was also mindful that everyone stared at her voluptuous breasts.
"We'll need to leave soon." Holly said. "We still need to pick up the others."
Holly was still in the water but in the shallow end. Savannah swam up next to her.
"Do you want to try it again?" Savannah asked.
Holly looked over at Cameron and Young Allison. They both looked very happy to be with each other right now.
"No, let Cameron finish." Holly said. "I'll come here with Allison, MY Allison and I'll do this with her. I want to bring Hanna too. This was really a different experience for me. I have no data for such an environment. It was very stimulating and rewarding."
Savannah wanted Holly to understand it in human terms.
"I think you felt what we call 'fun'." Savannah said.
Holly tilted her head slightly to the side with that revelation. She now knew how to interpret that feeling. There were other times when she'd experienced it is well but didn't know how to process it.
Savannah told Young Allison they needed to wrap it up. They all exited the pool.
Cameron and Holly both agreed they shared a good time 'swimming'. They went back to the locker room, everyone changed back into their street clothes again. Of course that was after they all took a good look at each other as they stripped off their swimwear. It seemed that Young Allison drew the most looks from the other three females.
Young Allison secretly looked at Cameron as she dressed. She longed for the day she would look just like THAT. She also looked at Savannah. She longed for the day when she would be able to touch Savannah and Savannah would be able to touch her back.
They didn't want to run short on time since they were supposed to meet up with the others. If it wasn't for that restriction, Young Allison, Savannah and Holly would have run back to the Young residence while Cameron scouted around them in the SUV.
They hopped in Cameron's SUV and went back to get the others. They were waiting at the Young residence. Everyone was ready to go.
Cameron and her entourage took two vehicles to the Fifties and Sixties diner and malt shop with the full group. The Detail followed in a van and 4X4 pick up truck.
Once they entered, Young Allison took Summer to the 'Juke Box' and asked her to pick a tune. Summer picked a song she thought sounded like a cute name.
'Rip It Up' by 'Bill Haley', blasted through the room, moments later.
The Metal girls all ordered ice cream, the human ones ordered some burgers, fries and malts.
While they waited for their food, they all danced. Young Allison started with Summer and then the Metal girls took over with Summer. That left Savannah and Young Allison to pair up. Cameron went over and selected a slow dance song when she saw Savannah and Young Allison were together.
'The Stroll' by 'The Diamonds', brought everyone closer together.
Cameron smiled at her handiwork but was surprised when Claire picked her as her partner.
Claire looked into Cameron's eyes.
"Everything has a price…." Claire whispered to Cameron.
Cameron pulled Claire in closer. She wanted to make things clear for Claire.
"As long as it's not too 'expensive'…." Cameron whispered back. "Some can only 'pay' so much and then they need help."
Claire thought about some of her past experiences. She was very aware of who made it all happen. Everyone was made 'available' to her. It was no problem for the Metal girls if she wanted a particular one. The human girls were a little harder to control but they were all able to cycle through anyway.
'Others have paid the tab for them…." Claire whispered to Cameron. "Thank You…."
Cameron knew that Claire wanted to kiss her. Hanna came over and took over for Cameron - again. She gave Claire the kiss she desperately wanted as the slow song played.
Cameron was pleased to see how Claire and Hanna interacted. She could see that Claire was a very passionate kisser. She could understand why all the human females sought that kiss out. It was more than just a kiss to them. She was pretty sure that the Metal girls would all interpret it differently.
The food soon arrived and was consumed. There was a lot of joking and laughter. It seemed everyone shared a good time. Summer stole the show. Once everyone was satisfied with their lunch, Savannah picked the last song before they left.
'Johnny B. Goode' by 'Chuck Berry', rocked the café. The girls all went out for a last dance.
I Work Out
The volcano will explode
The ice will crack
Your life is derailed
You've gone off the track
Your destiny was determined
The plan was laid out
Now you are blinded
To what it's all about
I've been here
To be your guide
Now by the rules
You no longer abide
To not be with me
You no longer miss
My lonely empty heart
Awaits your sweet kiss
When it all falls apart
When you are filled with doubt
You have a choice of but one - ME
I work out
Nobody
