Chapter 800

Circus Act

Cammy's team faced a new threat. There were Grays or a Terminator about to show up. The Grays wouldn't know what happened before they arrived. John Henry kept all communications but their own blocked.

Cammy told the HK Tracks to hold their fire and remain inactive until the SUV stopped and the occupants got out. She only wanted them to act if a Terminator was present. They were to appear to be in standby until then, even though they weren't. They also wanted the HK Tracks available in case further HK drones showed up. It would be easier to take the Grays down themselves.

The scene the Grays were about to encounter was a mass of confusion and wrecked equipment, some of it was still smoldering.

The Metal girls concealed themselves. Sheila and Ally were both still naked except for their vests.

The Gray's SUV did a 'once around' the building. They crossed over the railroad siding to complete their circle of the structure.

There were four occupants in the SUV. Two of them got out, they each carried an AK47. The SUV then drove around to the other side and the other two occupants got out. They carried the same weapons. They advanced on the building from both the front and the back.

The girls felt the only threat to them would be a Terminator at this point.

Cammy tracked the two men who just got out of the SUV. She hoped neither of them was a Terminator. There was only one shot left in her Taser.

Ally and Sheila were together. They tracked the two men who'd gotten out of the SUV earlier. They were inside the building. They waited for the men to enter.

Ally pulled her Taser. She wanted to get some clothing before the rest of their Terminators arrived.

"Let's try not to bloody the clothes." Ally whispered in Sheila's ear.

Sheila didn't care for any of the clothes that the Grays wore. She made her dissatisfaction known to Ally.

"They all look like bums." Sheila whispered back. "I'd rather stay naked."

Ali didn't think this was the place for that to happen but she'd take it anyway. She always liked to see Sheila naked.

"I'd rather you did too." Ally said.

Sheila thought about taking her vest off so she'd be completely naked. She decided she better wait until they took down the Grays. She didn't want to risk any unnecessary breast damage. She didn't want to look like Cameron did at times in the past. She'd like to be able to wear both of her nipple rings, not just one.

"Maybe I will then." Sheila said.

John Henry monitored all the communications to keep track of what was happening. He didn't want the girls to get sidetracked or start anything sexual.

"Stay focused." John Henry said.

Sheila figured she knew what made the Command Center happy.

"I bet you're both focused on our body cams." Sheila said. "When I get back you won't need to look at the monitor. All you have to do is stop by my room. I'll let you have your own personal close up. It will be up to you what you want to do at that point. I'm game for anything."

Sheila didn't expect any further communication from the Command Center for a while.

Earlier:

Savannah was in a maximum performance climb with the UH-1. She tried to gain altitude to be above the HK drone that stalked them. That way Cameron would be able to use the remaining Stinger missile on it and hopefully bring it down this time. They needed to be above it so the rotor wouldn't block the shot.

When they cleared the rock formation Savannah was above the HK drone.

Cameron was ready with the second Stinger. She moved to the doorway of the Huey to take the shot. She aimed the Stinger and prepared to fire at the HK drone that was now below them.

There was a fleeting darkness over the canopy of the Iroquois. It was followed by a massive jolt to the UH-1 that shook the entire helicopter. It rocked violently.

Cameron slipped and fell out of the helicopter door. She still held the Stinger.…

Anna slammed onto the floor of the helicopter and started sliding out the door after Cameron, she still held onto her. Her hands slipped down to Cameron's ankles. It was actually up to her ankles, as Cameron was inverted at this point. Anna's foot looped around a seat mount. Hanna moved to assist her.

Savannah struggled with the helicopter. She saw Cameron go out the door still holding the Stinger. Anna was still holding her and was slammed onto the floor of the helicopter as Cameron almost slipped out of her hands. Now Anna was on her way out of the helicopter doorway still holding Cameron's ankles.

Hanna reached over and grabbed one of Anna's ankles as she disappeared out the door. Hanna managed to grab onto a seat frame but she was already halfway out the door.

Savannah could see the Metal girls going out the door, one by one.

"Holly, go help them." Savannah shouted as she struggled to maintain control of the chopper. "I have this."

Savannah wasn't sure if she actually had it or not. She didn't know what was wrong with the helicopter but she could see Metal girls needed help now.

Holly jumped over the seat into the back of the helicopter. She reached over and grabbed Hanna's ankle just as the seat tore loose. Hanna was now on her back and two thirds of the way out the door. Holly wedged herself in. She currently held all three of the Metal girls. She could only see that she had Hanna but based upon the weight she knew Anna and Cameron we're still there. It was quite a handful to hang on to as the girls were buffeted in the slipstream of the helicopter. At this point she really hoped that she didn't slip. She would most likely go out the door still holding onto Hanna as all four of them fell to their doom.

Savannah looked back as she fought to control the helicopter. There were alarm warnings going off as she struggled to regain control of the helicopter. When she briefly looked back all she could see was Holly and part of Hanna. She didn't know the status of Anna or Cameron. It looked rather bleak from her position in the pilot's seat.

Holly held Hanna, who held Anna by one hand, who held Cameron, who still held the Stinger. All of them hung upside down from the door of the helicopter as they dangled in the wind. If anyone had been around to observe them from the ground or the air, it would appear to be quite a circus act. Right now it was actually a struggle to survive.

Two of the Grays entered the building as they held their weapons ready. They came in through the remains of the automatic door that Ally and Sheila smashed open earlier. They could see a mass of holes from what appeared to be a minigun fire all around the opening as they entered. They looked around the interior and wondered what happened in there.

They could see a boxcar lying on its side with an HK Track smashed up against the loading dock. The other boxcar was at a crazy angle three fourths of the way out the door. The floor was littered with shell casings and spent projectiles that appeared to have ricocheted off two or three surfaces.

The two men didn't see anyone.

"Holy crap…." The first Gray said. "What happened in here?"

The two men needed to be careful they didn't slip on the massive amount of shell casings that were on the ground. Many of them were crushed, probably by an HK Track.

"I don't know." The second Gray said. "It looks like a battle was fought around here."

For the amount of destruction that they viewed, they didn't spot any bodies or blood. It seemed like they should have.

"Someone must have been killed in here with the amount of this destruction. Where are the bodies?" The first Gray asked. "We only picked up the alert a short time ago."

The two Grays looked at the boxcar that was on its side. They really wondered how something like that could happen. There must have been an explosion of some kind in order to blow both those boxcars to where they were at right now. They looked up at the giant hole in the roof and the pieces of debris scattered around the ground.

"Let's go tell the others what we found. My phone still doesn't work." The second Gray said.

They really wonder who was responsible for what happened there. There was one group that came to mind right away for both of them.

"This looks like the work of those nut jobs." The first Gray said.

The second Gray nodded. He'd heard the reports as well.

"Do you mean those fools who worship 'Sky Master' or some kind of nonsense?" The second Gray asked.

They really weren't sure how they were going to be able to explain everything that they'd just viewed.

"Those are the ones." One Gray said.

The two men slung their weapons since there didn't appear to be any threat that remained inside of the building.

They headed for the door to leave.

"I really don't think that anything could be stranger than this." The second Gray said.

Sheila and Ally were able to move to where the men were going to have to pass to leave.

"Actually it can." Sheila said.

The girls each grabbed one man and choked them out.

As the two men lost consciousness they did realize that it could get stranger. They'd just been jumped by two hot looking females who are naked except for the combat vest that they wore. The darkness overtook both of them.

"You deal with these morons." Sheila said as she went to help Cammy.

Sheila was still naked and only wore her vest.

Ally proceeded to strip off the men's clothes as she searched and then bound them. She drug them away. She pulled both of them by their foot across the rough concrete littered with spent ricocheted bullets and empty shell casings. She knew any injuries they suffered now weren't going to matter later on. Their choice to serve Skynet already dictated their fate. They would be questioned and then terminated.

She looked over the clothes and wasn't impressed by them at all.

"These are crappy clothes." Ally said as she kicked one man in the leg. "You don't need to dress like you're in the future anymore, moron."

She checked their bonds again and went out after Sheila.

Ally was still naked and only wore her vest.

Earlier:

Cameron felt herself about to fall out of the helicopter. She knew Anna would hold on to her. Or would she? She still held the Stinger armed and ready to fire as she fell out of the door and into the sky and into nothingness. She impacted the skid and stopped for a second and felt herself fall again. She stopped again with a jolt and then fell some more. She looked back up and saw Anna was completely out of the helicopter as well as most of Hanna. That meant Holly must be holding onto Hanna and Savannah alone struggled with the ailing helicopter. She was unsure what happened that caused the violent jolt. It was like they hit something or something hit them.

The HK drone spotted where the helicopter was at and started to climb to intercept them. It wanted to close in to effective gun range.

Cameron saw the HK drone below them. It was now in pursuit of them. As she swung completely upside down in the wind, she aimed and fired the Stinger. The small missile picked up its target and tracked true. It struck the HK drone and it exploded. She dropped the fired weapon and looked back up at Anna as she was buffeted around in the slipstream.

She was sure it all must look like some crazy circus act.

Now what?

Savannah tried to fly the helicopter and watched as the Metal girls disappeared one by one out the door. Holly was able to get to Hanna right before she went out too.

There was a whoosh of a missile that was fired and the sound of an explosion a second later. Savannah wondered if there was some kind of chain of Metal girls hanging on that she couldn't see. It was obvious Holly seemed to have a handful to hold on to. That must have been Cameron who fired the Stinger. She'd been holding on to it when she went out the door. This was a lot to process. The warning lights and alarms turned off one by one. She gained complete control of the helicopter again as well.

Savannah checked everything and her instruments. Everything seemed to check out. Other than the dark blur over her before the jolt, everything checked out fine. She wasn't sure what was going to happen next. It appeared that if Holly moved or attempted to pull Hanna back in that she might lose her footing and go out the door herself.

She could see that she was going to need to come up with a new plan and come up with it fast to help everyone out. Since the helicopter wasn't shredded by minigun fire, she needed to assume Cameron was able to bring the HK drone down. She quickly looked for a spot where she could set the helicopter down at. If nothing else she needed to get it closer to the ground as soon as possible in case any of the Metal girls lost their grip or before Holly was pulled out of the helicopter as well.

Cammy watched the two Grays that exited from the SUV. They split up, one of them passed by where she was hidden. She reached out and grabbed him. She snapped his neck. She drug him around the corner away from view. She then set out after the other Gray with her Taser.

Sheila was outside now and went to where she last saw Cammy and found the dead man instead. That meant there was still one Gray out there and Cammy was stalking him.

Cammy watched the Gray check on one of the HK Tracks.

"There's nothing wrong with this one." He said as he looked for the other man. "It's in 'standby' or something. What a piece of crap."

That didn't sound like a Terminator talking, Cammy thought.

The Gray went around the corner. Cammy moved up behind an HK Track. The Gray popped back around the corner with his AK47 up as he searched for a target. He evidently wanted to check to see if anyone would follow him or show themselves. It was clear by his actions he thought it would be a human and not a Terminator. He didn't see Cammy behind the HK Track. He lowered his weapon slightly.

"Joe!" The Gray called out.

'Joe' didn't answer. He was dead.

The Gray looked around the corner where he was headed, then turned to go back the way he'd come. He wanted to know where his friend went.

"Joe!" The Gray called out again.

"I found something." A 'male' voice said from around the other corner. "Hurry…."

"Joe?" The Gray asked.

Cammy moved around the HK Track when the Gray passed. As he neared the corner he raised his AK47 ready to fire. Cammy aimed her M4 and fired a single round. It struck him in the head. He went down like a rock.

Sheila poked her head around the corner and gave Cammy a 'thumbs up'.

"Two targets were neutralized, two are captive." Sheila said.

Cammy gave John Henry a complete rundown of everything that transpired. Sheila filled in her details as did Ally.

Ally saw everything was under control. She went back to the captured Grays. They were both still out. Sheila joined her with two more pairs of pants and another shirt.

Cammy wanted to know about the helicopters. She wanted to make sure that the girls weren't still in danger.

"John Henry what is the status of the two helicopters and the HK drone that was after them?" Cammy asked.

John Henry could only go by the initial report Savannah gave him. He only knew for sure that Holly and Hanna were still in the helicopter, at least part way.

"We may have lost two from the Iroquois." John Henry said. "They went out a door while they were flying. There was some type of incident."

That sounded like bad news to Cammy. She wondered what the incident was. Maybe the helicopter was damaged now. It sounded as if the HK drone may have attacked it. What concerned her most were the two that were missing.

"Who was it?" Cammy asked. "Where did they go?"

John Henry could only go by what he was told.

"It was Cameron and Anna. They went out the door at altitude." John Henry said. "I'm watching Holly's body cam and she's holding on to Hanna who is hanging out the door as well."

That sounded very strange to Cammy. She wondered why Holly hadn't pulled Hanna back in. The only thing she could think of is that one or both of them was severely damaged and unable to function properly. Maybe it was both of them.

"Were they hit?" Cammy asked. "Do they have some kind of mechanical damage?"

John Henry was unable to ascertain the nature of the problem. Savannah didn't know what went wrong. She thought that something hit the helicopter or the helicopter hit something.

"Something happened, I don't know what." John Henry said. "Savannah is struggling with the helicopter now."

Cammy wanted a better answer about the rest of the crew.

"What about Cameron and Anna?" Cammy asked.

John Henry didn't answer right away.

"They're gone…." John Henry said.

"Where did they go?" Cammy asked.

"They're just gone." John Henry said.

Savannah was aware Holly must be holding on to more than Hanna still. It appeared that Holly fought to maintain her position and not be pulled out as well. She looked for a place to set down. She would hover about fifteen feet off the ground, first.

She saw the burning wreckage of the downed HK drone as she neared the ground. At fifteen feet she hovered and a few seconds later, Holly pulled Hanna back in. Just as she was about to touch down, Anna and Cameron hopped back in. It looked like a really 'bad hair day' for both of them and Hanna.

Cameron moved up into the copilot's seat. She was concerned for Savannah safety and whatever afflicted the helicopter. She knew that something happened to it but she didn't know what.

"Let me take it." Cameron said after she put her headphones on.

"You got it?" Savannah asked.

"I got it." Cameron said.

Cameron explained to Savannah they probably hit a large bird, maybe a Pelican, possibly several. She wanted to take control in case there was more damage that hadn't been detected yet.

They were relieved in the Command Center when Cameron reported back in

Cameron reported to John and John Henry everything that happened. She checked the controls and the performance of the helicopter as they flew.

Savannah looked in the back. Holly mounted the 'Pig' back in the starboard door. Hanna and Anna both held a LAW rocket ready as well as an M4. She turned her attention to Cameron.

"How soon will it be until we reach Cammy's team?" Savannah asked as she looked at the map. "I make seven minutes at this speed."

Cameron smiled at Savannah's navigation skills. She felt that the helicopter checked out OK as well. She felt Savannah would be able to handle it without any problem again.

"Six minutes and fifty seven seconds." Cameron said. "Do you want it back?" Cameron asked. "Everything seems back to normal to me."

Savannah wanted to know the condition of the landing zone.

"Is the LZ hot?" Savannah asked.

Cameron didn't think so. She spotted the Blackhawk headed towards them.

"It's currently not hot. Cammy's team has four Grays on the ground. Two are captive and two have been terminated." Cameron said. "There's the Blackhawk."

Cameron would have expected the Blackhawk to be at the Landing Zone already. They'd probably diverted to check on them when they didn't know the status of Anna and her. They probably also we're headed to check on them in case the Iroquois needed to set down if it was damaged too badly. They would have been able to pick up the surviving team members that way.

Savannah watched the Blackhawk move in closer and close up into formation with them. It flew just in back and off to the side of their chopper. It maintained a safe distance in case the Iroquois developed a further problem.

"The LZ is clear." John Henry reported.

Cameron looked at Savannah who nodded.

"The controls are good." Cameron said. "You got it?"

Savannah was already on the controls. She was ready.

"I got it." Savannah answered.

Savannah retook control of the Iroquois. She took one look around the interior as she flew. Cameron was by her side in the copilot's seat. Holly, Hanna and Anna we're all there and ready with weapons as well. She was very relieved they hadn't lost anybody. What she wanted to do was to find out if the incident that occurred with the Iroquois was her fault or not. She didn't believe that it was but if it was, she wanted to know that. She'd pushed the helicopter beyond the redline to climb to get above the HK drone. She wasn't sure if Cameron would tell it to her straight or not. If she'd made a mistake that could have caused some of them to be terminated she wanted to know.

Years In The Making

Some things in life happen fast
Some things happen very slow
As the years quickly pass by
One wonders where the time did go

Someone casually meet another
They soon share a night of fun
Once things are finished
Their separate ways they run

Most have many partners
It's just mainly for the thrill
Some will find out soon enough
They should have been on the pill

Others take a slower approach
They believe in the love they feel
They try to make the other
See what they feel is real

They want there to be
No confusion or mistaking
What they've built has been
Years in the making

Nobody
