Romeo sat on his usual seat waiting for the first fight to come by.
"Yep that's more like it Magnolia!" Max praised the wild crowd "Now for the next fight it'll be between one of our there to be fighters and a newcomer!"
First came a young woman with long violet hair styled in a ponytail by a red bow and brown eyes covered by a pair of glasses dressed in a blue one piece with a white skirt bottom, once she entered the ring she took off her glasses adjusting her eyes. Then a cloaked figure wearing a black robe the figure wasn't that taller than Romeo which caught the teen's eye who kept it firm on the figure who passed by making a breeze once it was near the ring the breeze turned into a swirl of wind that flew the figure up taking off the cloak before the figure gently stood on the opposite side of her opponent.
Romeo's eyes widened seeing the unconcealed figure's appearance it was a girl not that older or even taller than he is, she had long dark blue hair which was wrapped in a ponytail similar to that of her opponent held by a yellow bow and brown eyes, her dressing was less conservative than her opponent's being a teel green top with a matching short skirt bottom "A kid?" a man next to him asked disappointed.
"That's no simple kid" another man argued.
"Yes it must be that child wounder who posses the power of the sky dragons" a woman said.
"It is" another man said.
"Well too bad for the kid her opponent may not be a champion material but she is strong" another woman commented.
Back in the ring the little girl closed her eyes in a sigh having seen the reaction coming but it doesn't matter she'll prove them wrong here and now, "Ladies and gentlemen for our opening fight we start with a debut, standing on the red corner she may not be a fan-favourite but she is more than capable please give it up for Laki Olietta" the people gave little fanfare much to Laki's displeasure even more so with her lacklustre introduction. Max then turned to her opponent "In the blue corner making her debut on the professional stage please welcome Wendy Marvell!"
Much like Laki there wasn't much fanfare for Wendy aside from Keigo "Yeah show these adults who's in charge!" but was quickly shot when an adult glared at him making him squirm and shrink.
Lucy and Juvia paraded the cards for the first round and during that period the former stole glances towards the newcomer whilst the latter wished luck for Laki and both were out.
Standing up on both feet's both competitors eyed one another.
DING! DING!
With the bell ring the two began circling each other's before Laki slammed her palms into the floor making wood come out and fall on Wendy "Give up" Laki suggested as she patted the wood with pride "This thing is as sturdy-woah!"
Laki's boasting was cut short by a strong wind that sent her flying along with the wood being blown from Wendy's mouth, the little girl then watched as Laki fell down on her back before she jumped up and swings her foot down on Laki unleashing a powerful whirlwind the raven haired woman had very little time constructing a giant wooden dome on top of her to lessen the impact but the wind still crushed the wood and lifted Laki up for a dropkick from Wendy who landed her down for the count "1…2..-" Laki managed to recover and parry Wendy off of her.
Meanwhile in the stands people cheered "That kid isn't bad" a man praised, Romeo watched her enamoured.
"Please don't underestimate me" Wendy asked her opponent politely.
"I'll do that" Laki said as she then created a massive wooden spiked ball that rushed towards Wendy but the girl once again blew a gust of wind out of her lungs that sent the spiked ball towards Laki who then created multiple giant hands and legs made from wood to hit the ball back, this game of tennis continued until a bell ring.
DING! DING! "Round one over winner neither" Max announced.
The two retreated back to their corners to catch their breaths and plan for the next round "Wendy" an adult women's voice called making the girl turn around to see an elderly woman with short pink hair.
"How did I do Porlyusica?" Wendy asked in anticipation of approval.
"You still need to push harder like we trained Wendy" Porlyusica answered "You only got lucky because your opponent thought of you as a child but now that mindset will be gone."
"I know" Wendy said.
Juvia and Lucy paraded around the cards of the second round which promoted Wendy to get up "Okay this time I'll attack first."
The two got up meeting in the middle before the bell rang.
DING! DING!
The second round began with Laki immediately putting a distance between them before generating and sending wooden shaped weapons towards the petite girl who rushed towards them with drawn finger nails and swiped across them accompanied by a wake of wind that destroyed them and propelled Wendy towards her opponent with headbutt to her chin making Laki fall outside the ref began the count for her to get back in which she did early but was soon hit by a speeding Wendy who ran circles around her hitting from different sides until she headbutted her from the back taking her down as Wendy sat on top of her "1…2…3!"
DING! DING! "Round 2 over winner Wendy Marvell" Max announced.
"Woah she's really strong right Romeo?" Keigo asked his friend but no response came from the boy in question promoting Keigo to turn around seeing the boy completely absorbed as Wendy skipped cutely back to her corner with joy "Hey Romeo!"
"Woah did you say something?" Romeo asked.
Keigo smiled "Yeah but you already gave me the answer."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Romeo asked feeling insulted.
"Juvia is amazed by Wendy what about Lucy?" Juvia asked.
"Yeah she's incredible" Lucy answered with widened eyes and her jaw on the threat of falling out.
"Very good Wendy" Porlyusica praised "However the first one was a stalemate meaning the next round will be tougher since it'll determine you as the winner."
"I know" Wendy half shouted in whisper swallowing her lump on the throat.
Porlyusica massaged the girl's shoulders before patting her back "You go for the win girl."
"I'll" Wendy whispered with a huge smile as she meted her opponent in the middle both on their toes with Laki being concerned whilst Wendy had a small smile upon her lips.
DING! DING!
The third round began with a blast as Wendy lunged towards Laki who putted a distance between them before shooting another ball of spiked wood towards Wendy who blew it away with a powerful breath from her lungs right back at Laki who dived towards and entered making it stop in motion making Wendy stagger back at this but before she could wounder any longer the spiked ball began trembling putting the blue haired teen on her toes, the ball blew up into several wooden bridges that surrounded the ring making Wendy look around curious.
"What is that?" Keigo asked pointing at something seemingly moving from within the wood making its way behind Wendy.
Romeo's eyes widened realizing this "Look out!" he shouted.
Hearing this Wendy dodged the thing revealed to be Laki who almost got a hit on Wendy before she dived back inside the wood moving around it, Wendy began jumping from one place to another avoiding Laki who picked up more and more speed even though she missed she came closer and closer to landing a hit on Wendy by limiting the space using the wood to close on her like a spider web and just as she was about to land a powerful blow Wendy gathered up wind beneath her feet's as she lunged at Laki who wa shit by a ball of air ridden by Wendy who moved the ball around shattering the wood before it ran circles around Laki hitting from one corner to another until Wendy jumped up taking up a deep breath gathering air unto her lung before she breathed it out at her opponent in full force.
The crowd in the stands covered their eyes from the pressure of the wind before it finally subsided and were greeted with a fallen Laki and a triumphant Wendy.
DING! DING! "Round 3 is over your winner by knock out of this match is WENDY MARVELL!" Max announced enthusiastically.
Soon the entire arena erupted into cheers and claps along with shouting the winners name "WENDY! WENDY! WENDY!"
The little blue haired girl smiled as she waved to the crowd before feeling a palm on her shoulder looking up she saw Porlyusica "Well done Wendy."
The small girl smiled brightly as she jumped in oy and bowed before the seated crowd. "Well Romeo I can say for sure we had just witnessed the beginning of a new era" Keigo said.
"Yeah we did" Romeo said.
The show continued with more exciting fights but the pair of teens especially Romeo couldn't stop thinking about the match they saw or rather about Wendy Marvell.
"That's all for today folks make sure to have a safe drive home and a good night" Max said valediction to the fans who began leaving their seats one by one.

Outside the arena
Romeo and Keigo walked side by side "Man this was great I wish I can get tickets every time" Keigo said.
Romeo let out a small sigh "Yeah that's what I thought at first" then he stopped in his tracks.
"What's wrong?" Keigo asked.
"Uh nothing I just remembered something is all I'll be back in a few minutes" Romeo answered.
"You can go hoe after your done, it's getting late I'm going home myself" Keigo revealed, after waving goodbye to one another the two parted ways.

Backstage of the arena
"Hey" Romeo greeted opening the door.
"Romeo Juvia is happy to see you" the blue haired woman said hugging the boy.
"Yeah nice to see you too Juvia" Romeo said.
"Hey Romeo" Natsu greeted accompanied by Gray and Lucy.
"Hey bros" Romeo exchanged fist pumps with them.
"Romeo is here?" asked a feminine voice revealing itself to be Laki.
As soon as he saw her Romeo approached her bypassing the other's in a rush "Laki sis good match."
Laki chuckled a bit discomfort ably "Yeah thanks for cheering me Romeo. You were cheering me, right?"
"Of course I was" the teen answered with difficulty "So where's your opponent?" Romeo asked looking around.
"You mean Wendy? Well she already left" Lucy revealed.
Romeo hanged his head down letting out a grunt "Why does Romeo want to see her?" Juvia asked with a small smile.
"Um" the boy stumbled in his words "I wanted to stand up for Laki…and well also welcome her in."
"Hmph, really?" Juvia asked teasingly.
"Kid run for it otherwise she'll never let it go" Lucy warned giving the boy a pleading look "Trust me."
"Lucy" Juvia cried depressingly "Juvia thinks love can make every-"
"Yeah I trust you" Romeo suddenly spoke cutting Juvia off.
"Romeo" Juvia glared.
"Okay I'm going, good job you guys" and with that the boy left.
"What's going on?" asked Wakaba.
"Oh Romeo was here and he was looking for that girl Wendy" Natsu answered.
"What?" Macao cried as water falls made out of tears cascaded down his face "And he didn't bother to see his Oldman."
Wakaba rested his hand on his shoulder "Don't think about it too much he's that age, just give it a year or two and he'll get over it."

Streets
Walking back home Romeo mused in his thoughts which kept going back to Wendy unable to shake her off of his head, he was surrounded by strong people since pretty much the time he acknowledged things but tonight was the first time he saw it in someone in his age and a girl no less. He just couldn't stop thinking about her is all "Maybe" he mused outload but suddenly his mind showed Juvia with her teasing smile stopping him in his tracks along with Lucy's warning.
"She'll never let it go" the warning echoed in his ears.
Shrugging it off the boy kicked a nearby can before resting his hands in his pockets "It's probably nothing."
