(Arendelle.)

Elsa, Queen of Arendelle, was silent. This was… Not an easy position she and her kingdom had been put in. Another kingdom was to arrive on their shores. One whom was to bring an important deal to them.

"Your highness?" Elsa heard as she started to shake her head. "The first ship is due to be here in an hour. The official markings show it's the delegation ship of Ignis." One of her servants stated as she slowly straightened up in her throne.

"Tell the guards I will be down in 50 minutes." Elsa ordered as the princess slowly stood up. "You can go." Elsa stated while she cleared her throat.

The former princess was well aware of her duties as ruler of a nation. She was also well aware that Ignis was a powerful ally as the Southern Isles had been before they had slowly cut ties with the other. She hadn't met the king of the powerful kingdom, but she had heard some rumors at the moment.

She wanted to speak to her sister before she started these negotiations, but there was not really any time. She wanted to think of how best to approach this. Many people were scared of her because of her 'witchcraft', something that made her roll her eyes.

'If I wanted to hurt someone? I would.' Elsa thought to herself as she started to slowly descend down the steps to her room in the castle.

Several of her servants moved to help her as she held up a hand. Elsa didn't want everyone to think she was weak or needed help to do something. She also didn't want someone to think of her as incapable.

"Are the guards all ready?" Elsa asked while she raised an eyebrow at one of her guards. "They do have plenty of guards considering how important this meeting is." Elsa stated to which the soldier nodded.

She slowly went to prepare for when the king and his entourage arrived. It would be entirely interesting to her when they came here.

Part of her questioned how they had heard of her and Arendelle. Then again? She was considered to be a witch by at least one kingdom. It didn't really surprise that news might have carried outside their borders.

"Should I clear the streets?" One of the guards asked while she started to walk forward. "A political delegation is sure to have the citizens curious." The soldier added to which Elsa nodded before she cleared her throat.

"Yes." Elsa stated as the soldier slowly walked away.

"And the princess? This meeting does involve the royalty of both Arendelle and Ignis." The soldier put in while she nodded to the soldier. "I'll make sure they're at the meeting. "The soldier added before he left.

Elsa was left alone besides a few soldiers who had guarded the palace. She slowly allowed them to leave. If someone wanted to try and hurt her? They'd be more direct, entirely attempting to kill her in a humiliating fashion. She started towards her room once more, wanting to be ready for when the king had come to visit.

"Hmm." Elsa stated while she cleared her mind and then slowly started to walk forwards as she waited.

She wanted to be involved more, but there were limits put on what she was allowed to do. She didn't want to think of the flaws in if this deal went sideways. Elsa didn't want a war on the shores of her home, and she expected the king had the same idea.

She was still reminded of Hans who had tried to kill her on her own soil and take over her home. She wouldn't allow it to happen again, not while she still had breath within her lungs. Elsa started to think what happened if this was a good meeting.

"A new ally was something we needed after the last two treaties." Elsa stated while she rolled her eyes. "This will be interesting." Elsa added as she entered the next hallway.

She shook her head and slowly entered her room. There was no time for more thoughts like this. Now was the time for action and words.

Little did she know the designs of the world had plans for them.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed at the moment. Since I didn't want the other story to be so meh? I decided to remake it. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show both Elsa and the King of Ignis meeting and set up more of the plot. Until the 900–4500-word chapter.
