Chapter 822

Let's Start

Once the Resistance fighter was dead, Cameron and Savannah shared a moment of closeness. It was awkward with the death and destruction around them. Maybe it was because they needed to fight at three separate locations on that day that they felt a need for closeness. It was a long day filled with plenty of violence and death.

"We need to go." Cammy said from out of view.

Cameron and Savannah looked at each other and checked around one more time for anything they'd missed. They didn't find anything additional.

Everything was loaded and it was time to go. Cameron and the teams all withdrew from the Gray's safe house.

The 'clean up' team of Cameron's Terminators would arrive later and 'salt' the area with drugs and cash. It was the easiest way to leave a crime scene and direct attention elsewhere. The more local gangs she could frame, the better.

There was no follow up information to work with from that location. They were at a dead end until they spent the time to go through the computers, phones and the chip of the captured Terminator. Some of that may produce a lead, maybe not if this group was really only in the past – the present, for two weeks. They may have got lucky and nipped this one in the bud.

Cameron decided that Holly, Hanna and Anna should return to their assignments at the Young residence. They wanted to help with finding additional information but she decided otherwise. They'd been part of the 'payback' for targeting the Young family at the mall. That part of the operation was over and hopefully it was a clean sweep.

Cameron, Cammy and Ally would take the computers, phones and the chip. They would try to glean them for any information.

A new target was always welcome to Cameron. The more action she was in, the less everything else 'bothered' her. When she was in combat, all the other things that haunted her seemed not to matter. She wondered if that was why she was in combat so often. It seemed combat was preferred to dealing with her 'problems'.

Cameron asked Sheila to go with Savannah to pick up Young Allison and finish their swimming activity. She wanted them to pick up where they were at before the interruption. She was aware of all the interaction that occurred. She wasn't opposed to what Sheila did as long as she didn't touch Young Allison. She wanted to make sure that Young Allison's focus remained directed at females. Sheila would help make that happen.

Savannah asked if she could help Cameron with the new information instead. She felt she needed to do more. She was still a little steamed at everything that went down.

Cameron wanted Savannah to remember what was important. She felt Young Allison was who Savannah needed to be with now. It wasn't her, not how Savannah felt right now. She was going to push it some.

"Young Allison looked forward to spending time with you and Sheila earlier today." Cameron said. "I want that obligation fulfilled. You must take care of those you care about first."

Savannah was aware that was something she stressed with Cameron before. She would make one more try to stay with Cameron.

"I want to help you." Savannah said. "We could work together."

Cameron decided to spell it out.

"I'll need to go and see John later." Cameron said. "I'm undamaged currently…."

Savannah understood the message Cameron wanted to convey to her. There were others in their lives that needed attention and wanted to share with them. It was something important.

"I understand. Everyone has obligations to fill. Do you want me to return to the Resistance base or your base tonight?" Savannah asked.

Cameron looked at Savannah for a long moment. She didn't want her to go to someplace specific tonight. She would make herself clear as to what she wanted.

"You know what I would like since I just told you where I was going to be and with who tonight." Cameron said. "It's time."

Savannah smiled. Cameron never let up. It was her programming talking.

"Tell that to John." Savannah said.

Cameron briefly reflected on all the hours at nights she spent 'conditioning' John do that very thing.

"I will." Cameron said.

Cameron actually told John that many, many times. There were a couple of close ones where it almost happened but it didn't. She would bring it up again. Until John was with Savannah and Young Allison as a teenager, her mission wasn't complete.

Riley was in her room with Derek. It seemed their relationship was a little strained recently as her pregnancy progressed. There were often problems that she experienced. Right now was one of those times but this one seemed a little different. She tried to ignore it and hoped it would go away, it didn't. It seemed to get worse. Now she was worried. She finally decided to say something. She chose her words carefully so she didn't cause any alarm.

"Derek, I feel 'different'." Riley said.

Derek took a good look at her and thought she didn't look so hot right now. She looked sick. He thought maybe someone with some experience might come in handy.

"Let me call Sarah." Derek said.

Riley hated to bother other people. She felt inadequate as it was. The more she needed to bother other people the worse it made her feel.

"Don't bother them." Riley said. "Kyle and you just returned from a recon mission. Let them have some 'alone' time."

Derek looked at Riley for a long moment. There hadn't been much alone time for either of them recently. Actually it had been quite a while. He understood that things were difficult for Riley so he didn't push anything. He certainly didn't want to be responsible if anything actually happened to her or the baby.

"I remember that." Derek said. "Alone time doesn't happen much anymore."

Riley felt immensely guilty. She knew that she'd slacked off on sharing her affection with Derek. She didn't want to use her 'lady parts' and end up with some type of a problem. She was terrified about what could happen to her after what happened to Jesse, Vanna and Allison on multiple occasions. There were other ways that she attempted to satisfy him but they were a little tougher now that she had a new problem.

"I'm sorry. I do what I can." Riley said. "You know I have a sore gum. A tooth has been bothering me. You know I always try when you want me to."

Derek felt like a jerk all of a sudden by what Riley just said. He didn't want to make it sound like that was her primary function in their lives. It wasn't. They still shared what closeness they could with each other. They were both from the future and they knew what a precious cargo that Riley actually carried inside of her. They were literally people that would kill to get their hands on that baby to have as their own. He thought maybe he should backtrack some from Riley's interpretation of what he said.

"I didn't mean it like that." Derek said.

Riley felt totally inadequate as a female right now. She felt like a whale. She knew there were others who could satisfy Derek and provide him with sexual comfort.

"Yes you did." Riley said. "I understand. Jesse is here…."

Riley was upset she was unable to satisfy Derek. There was someone there who could. It was nothing new. It really wouldn't be a big deal. They'd both been with Jesse before. It was never at the same time though, all that was before they became a pair. Jesse was the most satisfying female that she'd ever been with. No, Jesse was the most satisfying person that she'd ever been with. The girls from the future were all about the 'finish'. That was truly the only moment that any of them could escape the Hell that they lived in. She always felt and Jesse was full of love waiting to explode out of her. She believed Jesse kept that love buried. She wasn't really sure why. She felt that Jesse was haunted by her past and didn't feel that she deserved to have a loving relationship with anyone either male or female.

Derek felt Riley's words sting him a little. He'd always wanted more from Jesse but it never happened. It was always about the sex. They did share moments together but Jesse always shut those moments down when they started to expand. He never really understood why. He didn't want it to become an issue between Riley and him about his past with Jesse. There'd been times when they were alone together and no one else was around. There were thoughts that crossed his mind but Jesse always backed away before anything could even start to happen. He didn't know about her promise to Cameron that she would never interfere with Riley and him.

"Don't start that." Derek said. "We've never done anything since I hooked up with you. You know that."

Sometimes Riley and Jesse were alone as well. She always thought maybe 'something' might happen but it never did. She didn't know about Jesse's promise to Cameron either. She did however ask her if Derek ever 'bothered' her.

"I asked her about that." Riley said. "You've never approached her either."

Derek got some 'coaching' from his brother. That was bad enough. He also received some 'coaching' from Sarah which was even worse. He knew that Cameron was involved somehow but he didn't know how much she'd touched Jesse's heart.

"Sarah and Kyle both talked to me about it." Derek said. "Cameron spoke to Jesse as well."

Riley looked at Derek for a long moment. There were times that she desperately wanted female companionship. It was something that she craved. She always felt another female could satisfy her better than a male could. The only trouble was all of the other females kept some distance between them. She'd only been with a Metal girl one time and it was Hanna. It wasn't long after that that Hanna was gone and shipped off to Palmdale. She really wished that she had a little more experience about being pregnant. She touched her gut.

"There it is again." Riley said.

She looked very uncomfortable.

Derek was as nervous as he was worried. The earlier talk about Jesse hadn't helped any. His main concern right now was for Riley and their baby. He felt almost powerless to help. He still felt he needed to do something.

"Let me call someone." Derek said. "I can call Savannah."

Riley didn't know about all the events that transpired throughout the day. She only knew what John Henry told her at one point when she asked where Savannah was at. She wasn't told of all the other 'activity' that Savannah was involved in.

"She was going to have a day out with Young Allison and Sheila." Riley said.

When Riley mentioned Sheila he thought about the photos he'd received the other day. When he looked at those photos he thought about Jesse. Actually when he viewed the first close up he thought the photo was from Jesse. It was only when he saw the full body photo that he realized it wasn't Jesse but her cyborg counterpart.

"I received a few photos from Sheila the other day." Derek said.

Riley was highly stimulated when she received the photos. She knew right away they belonged to Jesse. She soon found out though that it was actually Sheila.

"I think everyone did." Riley said. "They were all erased automatically."

Riley wanted to keep those images. She immediately started an internet search so she could look at more images just like them. Now she looked at images of females whenever Derek wasn't around. She spent hours at a time watching videos. She often pleasured herself as she did.

Derek wanted to qualify where he was at when he received the images. He didn't want to get 'blamed' for anything that he didn't do.

"I was with Kyle, Bob and Jim, when I received them. We all did." Derek said. "They were interesting."

Riley looked down at her body. She was thoroughly disgusted with its current appearance. She was even more disgusted that she didn't feel like doing anything anymore with Derek. Since she'd become addicted to the videos of females together, she didn't really need anything from him. There was no desire.

"I guess with me looking like a whale that they would be." Riley said. "I'm sorry I haven't felt like doing 'more'."

Derek felt very guilty to hear Riley say that. He tried to call Savannah anyway.

"You're doing the most important thing any human can do, Riley." Derek said. "Savannah isn't answering. My call is being redirected."

"How may I assist you, Derek?"

Derek was a little surprised to hear the voice on the other end of the phone.

"Cammy?" Derek asked. "Cam?"

"No."

"Cameron?" Derek asked.

"No. I'm CamNet."

That was really a big surprise to Derek. He wasn't sure if that was actually correct or not. He'd never spoken with a super computer before. He thought CamNet was 'off limits' to everyone.

"CamNet?" Derek asked. "I didn't know you 'talked'."

Derek really didn't know what to expect.

"I can do many things." CamNet said. "Savannah is swimming now with her mate Young Allison. Sheila is with them. She's directed me to handle any potential emergency. I was informed that Riley may need 'help'. I have access to many files."

Derek didn't need to think about it for more than a second. Here was someone that had access to all the information in the world. He figured that CamNet could help Riley more than he could right now.

"Let me give Riley the phone." Derek said.

Riley's phone started to ring.

"There is no need to hand her your phone. I've just called her." CamNet said. "I've also contacted Cameron. Cameron has suggested I contact Sarah and Claire as well."

Derek looked over and Riley was talking at the same time he was. Somehow he found that very strange. He wanted to make sure what actually was happening.

"Are you talking to both of us at the same time?" Derek asked.

"Yes." CamNet said. "I'm speaking with Cameron, Claire and Sarah as well."

Derek needed to think about that for a few seconds.

"Do you mean all at the same time with different conversations?" Derek asked.

"Yes." CamNet said. "Savannah has asked me to act on her behalf if she is unavailable."

Derek really didn't know what to say at this point. He was grateful for the assistance so he said what he felt.

"Thanks…." Derek said.

"I'm where I'm needed." CamNet said. "I'll have Savannah contact you when she is available."

Derek didn't really want to mess up Savannah's day. He didn't think that he would be able to prevent Savannah from calling as soon as she could anyway.

"Thanks…." Derek said again.

"You're welcome." CamNet said. "Call again if you need me for anything else, goodbye."

Derek looked at his phone. He wondered how he was supposed to do that since he didn't have CamNet's number. He figured all he would have to do is pick up the phone and say her name.

Riley looked over at Derek. She looked a little less depressed. He felt she actually looked a little bit happy right now.

"Sarah is on the way and I'm speaking to Claire now." Riley quickly said.

Derek still held his phone in his hand. He looked at it again. He'd only attempted to contact Savannah thirty seconds ago.

"That was fast." Derek said.

There was a knock at the door. Derek answered it. It was Sarah.

"Hi, Sarah." Derek said. "I'm sorry about this."

Sarah didn't think that it was a big deal. She knew what it was like to be pregnant and feel alone, even if there were others around her.

"It's fine." Sarah said. "I'll take care of this."

She seemed to only have a robe on. It appeared to be the only thing she wore.

Riley put Claire on 'speaker phone' with Sarah.

Derek caught a quick flash of one of Sarah's breasts as she made her robe a little tighter and cinched the belt up. He liked how high and tight it looked. There was no droop or sag to it. Riley actually had quite a bit of both. He knew there was nothing she could do about it because it was mostly genetics but high and tight did look sweet. He quickly looked away before he saw anymore.

"We need to talk about girl stuff." Sarah said as she shooed Derek off.

Derek thought maybe it was some information that he should know for the future.

"I don't mind." Derek said.

Sarah paused and glanced at Riley before she looked back at Derek.

"Claire and I do mind…." Sarah said. "It's about our bodies and private."

Derek just realized he'd put his foot in his mouth. That wasn't his intent. It looked like it was time for a quick retreat.

"I'm sorry." Derek said and quickly left.

Derek headed over to see Kyle. He arrived at Sarah's and Kyle's room a minute later.

Kyle carefully peeked around the door when he opened it. He didn't have a shirt on.

"Is everything OK?" Kyle asked.

Derek briefly wondered if Kyle was naked. He remembered that Sarah only had the robe on. It quickly dawned on him what they'd been doing. Now he felt like a jerk again.

"I don't know. The girls chased me away." Derek said.

Kyle opened the door and let Derek in. He only wore a pair of pants.

"I'm sorry." Derek said as he indicated Kyle's attire.

It was clear a private moment was interrupted.

Kyle knew that there were different priorities in life.

"Riley is something more important right now." Kyle said.

Derek looked around to see if anyone else was there.

"Where's Jan?" Derek asked.

Kyle knew that Sarah set something up with the girls to watch Jan for a while.

"Vanna and Jesse have her." Kyle said.

Derek wondered what they were up to.

"Did they go out?" Derek asked.

Kyle thought they had a few fun things planned for Jan.

"Yes." Kyle said. "They took her to see a movie and to an arcade."

Derek felt guilty again.

"I feel really bad for them." Derek said.

Kyle was pretty sure he knew what Derek referred to.

"Do you mean about kids?" Kyle asked. "Because it's Vanna and Jesse?"

Derek felt very guilty that Riley was able to get pregnant and keep the baby while the other girls always had trouble every time they tried. He knew that was the fault of Skynet. He still felt guilty though.

"Yes." Derek said. "I know Cameron has tried several times to 'help' them."

Kyle didn't think that Cameron would let anyone down in the long run.

"Cameron will make it happen." Kyle said.

Derek didn't doubt that at all. He was still worried about Riley and wanted see how things progressed.

"Let me go back and check on Riley." Derek said.

Kyle was aware that Sarah shooed Derek away once. He wanted to give him some advice so he didn't get on the wrong side of Sarah.

"Be warned." Kyle said. "If Sarah tells you to scoot, you best listen."

Derek thought that was good advice.

"I will." Derek said.

Cameron was at the secure location where she went through the computers and phones of the three sets of Grays that they'd terminated earlier in the day. When she received the call from CamNet she knew it was important. She tried to get the ball rolling for some action to help.

She returned to the work area when she was done.

Cammy noticed she'd left in a hurry. She wanted to know what was happening

"What's wrong?" Cammy asked.

Cameron was a little worried about the entire ordeal.

"It's Riley." Cameron said. "I think she is going to be early."

Cammy didn't think Riley was out of line as far as pregnancies went. She'd done plenty of research herself both times when Savannah was pregnant.

"It's not that early." Cammy said.

The more Cameron thought about it, the more it weighed upon her.

"I don't want any problems." Cameron said. "I think maybe I need to go back."

Cammy could see Cameron was going to have a problem.

"Your hand is glitching." Cammy said.

Cameron looked down at her hand. It disgusted her to no end.

"I know." Cameron said. "I need to go."

Cammy thought that was a bad idea.

"I can't let you go alone like that." Cammy said.

Cameron tried to brush it off.

"I'm fine." Cameron said.

Cammy was sure that Cameron was anything but fine right now.

Things eventually quieted down in the Command Center.

With the current situation over and no new leads to follow up on, John thought about making it an early day and leave.

"I may wrap it up early today." John said. "If anything happens you can contact me."

John Henry knew that Cameron was on her way back. He didn't know what her current reason was. He thought it was for something else.

"I understand." John Henry said.

John looked at one of the security monitors.

There was unusual activity occurring.

"What's happening there?" John asked. "Is everyone alright?"

John Henry began an internal review of his files on his server. He began to wonder if he'd missed something.

"I haven't been made aware of any problem." John Henry said.

John saw Derek being shooed away from his room by Sarah. He wondered why his mother was involved in whatever was happening. He was aware there were times when she could be quite headstrong.

"I better check this out." John said.

John Henry knew a bad idea when he heard it. He thought maybe he'd better spell it out for John before things got ugly.

"I think you'll get the same reception as Derek." John Henry said. "It must be something personal."

John didn't think he really needed another headache today. He was curious as to what was going on.

"Probably." John said. "I need a break after all that action today anyway."

John quickly stood up.

"I don't think you will find it there." John Henry said.

John already started to walk away.

Savannah was in the pool with Young Allison and Sheila.

So far Sheila's top only 'accidentally' came off twice. Both times Savannah retrieved it for her. Both times were in front of Young Allison.

Savannah was glad there weren't too many people in the pool. She knew Sheila was playing around with Young Allison and why. She told Sheila that was enough 'accidents' for now.

Young Allison challenged Sheila to a swimming contest. It involved Sheila only having the flotation device around her waist. It required Sheila to maintain perfect balance.

It was clear to Sheila that Young Allison was going to be more aggressive and assertive than Allison was. It seemed she was going to be a 'hot' item in private too at the rate she was going. She knew when someone had a case of 'hot pants'.

"She's a real firecracker." Sheila said to Savannah. "She's very competitive."

Savannah knew that was a quality Young Allison possessed. Future Allison seemed to show that as well. Allison however didn't. They were all the same person but what happened in their lives going forward made them all different individuals as far as their personalities went. Many things were the same on all three of them but there were drastic differences in other areas.

"Cameron has always stressed being the best and then being better, for both of us." Savannah said. "Young Allison is a very special and gifted individual. She will be superior to me in everything."

Sheila was around Savannah extensively as she grew up. She knew that Savannah was going to be a hard act to follow. She wanted to say something about an event that happened earlier in the day.

"That I doubt." Sheila said. "You're gifted and special, Savannah. I'm sorry about the kiss I stole earlier at the mall."

Savannah didn't see it as a problem. It was simply part of the mission.

"I let you share it with me." Savannah said. "I liked it."

Young Allison popped up from underwater right next to Sheila and Savannah.

"What are you two scheming about?" Young Allison asked.

Savannah didn't think it was scheming at all. It was what she believed.

"I just told Sheila you will be better at everything compared to me." Savannah said. "I believe that."

Young Alison didn't want there to be any real personal competition between Savannah and her. The games they played or the activities they did were a different story.

"We'll always be equal." Young Allison said. "Neither of us will ever be 'better' than the other."

Young Allison looked at Sheila.

"That doesn't apply to you, Sheila. Are you ready to swim?" Young Allison asked. "You will need to trade speed for agility and balance."

Savannah was sure that Young Allison was about to set Sheila up for failure.

"I'll stay with Sheila." Savannah said. "Let's start."

It was clear Young Allison thought she held an advantage. That wasn't something that was easy to do over a Terminator.

Sheila was aware she was in an environment that was foreign and unknown to her. Water and Terminators didn't mix. To be nearly naked with Savannah and Young Allison made it all worthwhile.

Strange Things Happen

There are the rejected
The ones who feel so alone
To the demons deep within them
They endlessly seek to atone

To free themselves from torment
They desire to self vindicate
Hoping the sorrow and pain inside
Will vanish and itself eliminate

Everyone is shunned
Two never become one
It is only other people
That seem to have any fun

Circumstances sometimes dictate
That two are forced together
The shells crack and split
There soon develops a tether

Put two lonely empty hearts close
They can soon feel it from within
In a very short amount of time
Strange things happen

Nobody
