"I am the strongest in the world right now."
Were the final words Sasuke remembered saying before he got taken out of the Elemental Nations forever.
Once he killed Naruto, he had plans. Plans to kill all the Kage. Plans to kill all the Tailed Beasts because he already had all their Chakra. Lastly he planned to establish unity across all the ninja world under his command. The one and only superior Kage.
But life had other plans.
Now he sat in a office across from a man. A man named Ozpin that had hair that reminded him of his old sensei, Kakashi. He was clad in green all around and had on glasses. He was sipping coffee from his mug as he stared at him with interest.
Interest that he was more than familiar with. Orochimaru used to stare at him with similar interest because he wanted his Sharingans. Obito stared at him like that because he was glad to have someone to manipulate and use as a tool.
Now he didn't know what exactly this man wanted from him, but his head will fly from his shoulders if he think he could manipulate him or use him as a tool.
"So basically you're telling me, long ago you wished that these 'brother Gods' give you someone strong enough to help change the tides of this war? And now your wish is finally fulfilled because they gave you me??" Sasuke questioned as he summarized what Ozpin told him.
He didn't know who these 'brother Gods' were either, but he wondered how exactly they were able to pull someone like him from the Elemental Nations to this new world. They had to have been powerful and strong.
Ozpin nodded. "Indeed Mr. Uchiha. I wished for them to send someone random, but strong and powerful. It looks like they finally decided to send someone, that person being you." Ozpin responded.
"So why should I fight for a war I don't have anything to do with??" Sasuke asked with narrowed eyes. This question was on his mind since the beginning. He literally just got done fighting in a war in his own home world. Now he was asked to fight in another that had nothing to do with him?? Fortunately for Ozpin, he genuinely was curious about this world and its inhabitants because if he wasn't, he would have killed Ozpin and these 'brother Gods.'
Ozpin adjusted his glasses. He knew he had to phrase his next words carefully or it could cost him this chance or even potentially his life.
"..It's because we really need your help Mr. Uchiha. Unfortunately if we lose this war, it could be the end of Remnant as a whole. The people need the strength and power of a hero and I believe that hero is you." Ozpin said.
How selfish.
"So I get pulled out of my world without my consent to fight in a war I have nothing to do with and now you want to use me as some pawn??" Sasuke said with a growl and slight coldness in his tone.
Ozpin's eyes slightly widened as he felt a foreign cold and heavy pressure directed towards his being. This man was very dangerous. He had to calm him down.
"You have me misunderstood Mr. Uchiha I only want your help." Ozpin reassured him.
"Is that why you want to enroll me in this academy of yours? So you can watch my every move??" Sasuke questioned him again. Don't get him wrong, he knew Ozpin was telling the truth even without his Dojutsu activated, and he also knew he had good intentions, but the man reminded him of Danzo. He would do anything necessary to win this 'war' as long as it was hidden with good intentions. That type of person was dangerous. Just look what happened to his clan.
"It's your decision Mr. Uchiha. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do." Ozpin responded.
Clever. Smart answer. Even though he didn't answer his question, but Sasuke already knew the answer. Sasuke looked down in contemplation.
His thoughts first went to his old world. From the looks of it, there was no way for him to go back right now. Even if he did go back, what was left for him? He was sure Naruto has found some way to release the Shinobi from the Infinite Tsukuyomi by now and he was probably going to search for him. He doubt Naruto would reach him anyways. It's not like he would be welcomed with open arms. It's not like the people of the Elemental Nations would celebrate his name. Especially because of Madara and Obito. There was no redeeming the Uchiha name. They were feared, hated, evil and infamous.
A sudden thought then came into his mind. What if he could change that in this new world?
What if he could let the darkness and vengeance he was so consumed by go and bring admiration and celebration to the Uchiha name?
But was this new world worth it was the question. He would have to find out. He would have to see what in this world was worth protecting and fighting for.
If he didn't find anything and if his time was wasted, then he would destroy this world and continue on from there.
But if he found his answer, then he would direct his steps..toward the light.
Look at him, being like the loser. It was almost laughable.
Ozpin patiently watched as thoughts played out in Sasuke's head. It seems like he finally came to a conclusion.
Sasuke looked back up at Ozpin. "I accept your offer. I only want to be on a team by myself. I get to chose if I want to or don't want to attend classes and lastly, have the freedom to do whatever I want to do." He said. He didn't want Ozpin to think he had too much control over his movements. Even though he didn't because either way he would do what he wanted to, but that was all he wanted, at least for now.
Ozpin nodded. "I was going to put you on a team by yourself anyways, but you still have to go through initiation because it's our policy. For the other two I only ask that you attend at least most of the time and as long as you abide by the rules."
Sasuke nodded. That was fair and if he didn't want to attend, he could use Shadow Clones. He figured the 'initiation' was to test students skills and potential. That wouldn't be a problem for him.
"With that being said, welcome to Beacon Academy Mr.Uchiha." Ozpin offered him a grin.
-Cutscene-
"Here's your room, Mr. Uchiha." Professor Goodwitch said as she looked at Sasuke with interest. 'So this is the young man of 'prophecy?'' She thought as she gave him a once over. He looked to be very strong and experienced, but she will know soon once his initiation starts in the morning time.
Sasuke nodded in thanks to her and entered the room.
It was very spacious for a single bed room. It was bland and plain, but it would be suitable and livable for now. It was way more better than the concrete beds he slept on when he went to train with Orochimaru.
Sasuke placed his new scroll and new clothes that Ozpin gave him down on the dresser. The clothes was the Beacon Academy uniform and a regular fitted black t-shirt and matching sweatpants. Ozpin gave him some Lien to go buy some more suitable attire for him. He would most definitely visit Vale sometime soon, once he gained knowledge on this world of course.
Sasuke placed his Kusanagi sword and sheathe in the corner. Luckily, somehow his favorite weapon was with him once he came into this new world. He was glad because he thought he lost it forever.
He gave another confused glance to this 'scroll.' It wasn't like the scrolls he was used to, far from it. It was like a..machine if you will. Ozpin gave him a fast tutorial on how to use it and he was surprised of how advanced it was compared to what was in the Elemental Nations.
He released a long deep breath.
He felt drained. He didn't eat for days. He fought nonstop in the war, against a Goddess, and then against Naruto. His Chakra also needed to be replenished.
His initiation was in the morning time, so he still had a couple hours he could get some rest.
He would definitely take a shower and get himself together first.
-Cutscene-
Sasuke's eyes snapped open to the loud alarm ringing right beside him. He pressed it with quickness to turn it off.
He glanced at the time. It looks like he overslept a bit. Fortunately not to the point when his initiation time started. Ozpin told him that he would send Professor Goodwitch to get him before it began.
He felt his Chakra reserves. They weren't 100% yet, but his Chakra replenished a good bit from yesterday. It also seemed like it replenished at a faster rate now which was good.
He looked at the Moon seal on his left hand. Luckily he still had the Yin-Release Chakra inside him. He could also feel the newly enhanced Hashirama Cells inside him that Kabuto pumped into him when he was healing his wound.
He was sure it was one of the reasons he was mostly healed and his faster Chakra replenishing.
He wondered if he could get another Eternal Rinnegan now that he had the Hashirama Cells inside him.
He decided that he would think on it later.
He stood up and grabbed his Kusanagi and strapped it to his new black sweatpants with the durable purple rope. He already had on the new fitted black t-shirt Ozpin gave him and he put on his regular black Shinobi sandals.
He then got his hygiene together and looked at himself in the mirror.
'Not bad' he thought as he nodded.
Knock Knock Knock
He was right on time too as he could sense Professor Glynda on the outside of his door.
He walked to the door and opened it.
"Are you ready for your initiation Mr. Uchiha?" Glynda said as she adjusted her glasses looking at him.
Sasuke nodded and then the two left.
He was ready to get this over with as he wanted to get knowledge and understanding of Remnant.
-Cutscene-
Team RWBY, Team JNPR, and Team CRDL sat in the amphitheater as they waited to watch the new male student's initiation.
"So do you guys think the new guy is strong? I wonder if he has a cool weapon.." Ruby thought with her hand on her chin as she initiated conversation.
"Hopefully he's strong or this would've been a huge waste of our time." Weiss scoffed as she crossed her arms.
"Cheer up Weisscream. I for one hope he's handsome because Beacon could use some new eye candy." Yang said as she smiled.
"I wonder if he's a Faunus? And if he is what type." Blake said. She was curious about this new person. He had to be important if all the teams were gathered there.
Pyrrha listened in to the conversation. She herself hoped he didn't recognize or know who she was. If that was the case, then she would love to get to know him.
"Do you think he knows how to make pancakes Ren??" Nora asked as she looked at him.
Ren smiled and shook his head. Classic Nora.
"Well we're about to know in a minute guys." Jaune said.
Cardin crossed his arms and chuckled with his team members. They couldn't wait to bully this new weak and fragile student. It will be fun.
"Quiet down everyone." Professor Glynda said as she walked on the stage. "The new student's initiation is about to begin."
The large smart board then glowed and showed camera footage.
Everyone watched as Professor Ozpin came into view. He looked directly into the camera.
"It's nice to see you all everyone. We are about to witness the new student's initiation. Please be kind and welcome him with joy into Beacon Academy." Ozpin grinned as he then gestured to Sasuke.
Sasuke walked into camera view. "My name is Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha." He calmly said and nodded.
