Chapter 840

What Happens In Vegas…

Cameron, Savannah and Frank all stepped off the slowly moving locomotives. They watched them accelerate away with a salute from the air horn and thick clouds of black billowing exhaust. The exhaust smoke was one of the after effects from the turbo lag as the locomotives were put into 'Run 8'.

Cameron looked away from the locomotives and turned her attention to Savannah.

"Savannah, I want to say that was some very fine railroading skills that you displayed." Cameron said.

Frank thought the same thing in the first few minutes he'd watched Savannah handle the train. He was impressed how quickly she was able to adapt to the controls.

"I agree." Frank said. "She seemed to have a really good feel for the train."

Cameron knew that there was an added layer of complexity involved.

"Don't forget she was pushing too, not pulling like is normally done." Cameron said. "That takes a little higher level of skill not to put the train on the ground."

Savannah felt a little embarrassed. She didn't think it was that big of a deal. She did appreciate that both Cameron and Frank thought that she'd done a good job.

"Thank you." Savannah said. "I always try my best."

Savannah looked at the airplane and saw right away that the Cessna wasn't exactly where she'd left it. She wondered if something happened and they needed to move it when they loaded the equipment.

"The plane is in a different spot than I parked it." Savannah said. "Didn't I park it far enough away?"

Cameron didn't think it was a big deal

"They must have needed to move it." Cameron said.

Dan pulled up in the SUV.

Frank joined Dan in the SUV. Savannah said her goodbyes to Dan and Frank. She thanked them for all their help. They waited and watched in their SUV as Cameron and Savannah headed for the Cessna.

Savannah looked down the length of the dirt road. There were some big ruts in it from the loaded trucks as they'd left the area with the captured HK equipment. Some of the trucks were heavily loaded. She knew that she wouldn't be taking off from the dirt road. That was just as well, she really didn't want to anyway unless she needed to.

"The dirt road is a little beat up now." Savannah said. "I'll taxi back to the paved road for our takeoff."

Savannah inspected the plane and climbed in. She checked the instruments and gauges.

"I know why the plane is in a different spot now." Savannah said.

Cameron actually knew why as well.

"It's because you now have a full tank of fuel." Cameron said.

Savannah was pleased that issue was taken care of.

"Yes." Savannah said. "Thank You."

Savannah fired the plane up and let it warm up for a short while before she started her quarter mile taxi on the dirt road. Dan and Frank followed in back of them by a few hundred feet in their SUV.

Cameron thought Savannah would ask her few questions about why they now had a full fuel load. She didn't, so she decided to prompt her.

"Do you know why you have a full tank of fuel?" Cameron asked.

Savannah mulled over the idea when she was in the locomotive. She specifically hadn't said anything to Cameron or CamNet about it. She didn't want to influence any of their decisions.

"Of course I do." Savannah said. "We're headed to Las Vegas."

Cameron looked at Savannah with wide eyes as she spoke.

"Only if you want to – do it." Cameron said.

Savannah quickly looked at Cameron. She held Cameron's gaze for a long moment and swallowed hard. She clearly understood what was implied. She thought carefully before she spoke.

"We need to follow the operation through." Savannah said. "We want to see if anyone checks on the boxcars."

Cameron finally looked away from Savannah's eyes and turned her attention forward.

"Let's go." Cameron said.

Savannah looked Cameron over as she looked ahead.

"Our clothes need some 'work'." Savannah said.

Cameron looked down at her clothing. She was disgusted at what she saw.

"You mean mine do." Cameron said.

Cameron looked in the back. There were some folded clothes. She was a little surprised at what she spotted.

"They did get me some clothes." Cameron said with some excitement.

Cameron started to remove her dirty clothes. She touched her sheath in several places.

"I think I need a shower too." Cameron said.

Savannah quickly saw an opportunity to get her innuendo in.

"We can - get a room…." Savannah said. "We can always shower together to save water."

Cameron looked at Savannah as she removed her outer garments. She was now down to only wearing her underwear. She made no effort to reach for the clean clothes.

"Aren't you going to get dressed?" Savannah asked.

Savannah taxied onto the paved road.

Cameron looked at Savannah and faintly smiled.

"I might put them on later, if I feel like it." Cameron said. "It's hot out."

Savannah smiled at that answer. She was aware of where Cameron used that reference previously. Cameron actually asked her if she understood what it was that she implied when she'd visited John after she changed her clothes and said that. She understood that Cameron clearly 'offered herself' to John if he wanted to choose her over Riley. Evidently at that time he didn't.

It actually upset her a little when she thought about that. She felt John needed to be 'punished' for that transgression. She thought about asking Cameron if she could borrow a male Terminator's chassis. She would rather allow Cameron the honor to actually take her virginity as a 'male'. She thought that that would be a justifiable payback to John when she informed him that he actually wasn't her 'first' and why. She knew that her mind drifted a lot further than she'd anticipated. She needed to refocus. They were still in a potential danger zone.

Savannah ran the engine speed up.

"Do you see anything in front of us?" Savannah asked. "I don't want any surprises."

Cameron saw that Savannah was a little distracted and took advantage of that situation.

"You have a clear take off." Cameron said. "There is nothing in your way…."

Savannah looked over and Cameron was naked now. She took in Cameron's naked beauty. It was truly next to none. Now she really needed to refocus. She didn't want to wreck the plane on take off.

She increased the throttle and released the brakes. They started to move. She firewalled it. The plane gained speed as it roared down the highway and took off smoothly. She'd already checked the map and decided the best route to follow into Las Vegas.

"I'll follow the railroad tracks but stay off to the side." Savannah said.

Cameron made a point to slowly spread her legs some.

"You know the route and destination." Cameron said.

Savannah looked over at Cameron as Cameron looked at her.

"I know both of them…." Savannah said. "There are many and varied routes to any destination."

Savannah circled around to follow the train. Dan and Frank were on the paved road. She couldn't help but continued to glance at Cameron's naked form. She could see that everything was a little more 'exposed' now. She felt more than a little distracted and hoped that it didn't compromise her flying ability.

"I'm going to have trouble concentrating." Savannah said.

Cameron's left hand gently slid from her neck, through the valley of her breasts and down along her left inner thigh.

"I can 'take over' at any point." Cameron said.

Savannah looked at Cameron again.

Cameron smiled back at her. She wanted to make her intentions clear.

"Savannah…." Cameron said. "What happens in Vegas…."

Savannah was well acquainted with the saying from television commercials. It was very clear to anyone who heard it exactly what it meant and indicated.

"Stays in Vegas…." Savannah said.

Savannah looked at Cameron as she sat naked next to her and swallowed hard.

Cameron looked at her with her big brown puppy dog eyes and smiled.

Savannah needed to concentrate a little harder on her flying. She could feel her body respond to Cameron's overt sexual overtures. If they weren't in the air right now she was pretty sure that she wouldn't be able to keep her hands off of Cameron. She considered turning on the autopilot.

Earlier:

Bob drove Young Allison and Anna away from the airport.

Young Allison wanted to make it clear to Anna that she appreciated what she'd permitted her to do with her minor contribution to the operation as well as the extra flight time.

"I want to thank you again, Anna, for allowing me so much flight time in the Beechcraft." Young Allison said.

Anna was impressed with Young Allison's flying and how easily she adapted the twin engine aircraft.

"You did an excellent job." Anna said.

Young Allison questioned Anna about some of the flight characteristics she experienced and noted as they drove along. They neared the malt shop.

"We're almost there." Young Allison said.

Bob arrived at the 'Fifties and Sixties' malt shop.

They exited the SUV and headed for the door.

Young Allison rushed ahead and held the front door for Bob and Anna.

"Thank you." Bob said. "I should be the one to hold it for you."

Young Allison wanted to show her appreciation to both Terminators. Besides, she didn't need to spend any of her money.

"You're paying." Young Allison said.

Anna headed to the jukebox and selected a tune.

'Queen Of The Hop' by 'Bobby Darin', blasted through the room.

Young Allison picked things out to order for everyone. Everything was ordered to take home.

Anna wondered if Young Allison overdid the ordering a little.

"We're going to have to hurry home once we get the order." Anna said. "That's a lot of ice cream."

Bob was confident in his driving skills.

"We will." Bob said. "I'm an excellent driver."

Young Allison used the restroom and returned a few minutes later. Anna was gone.

"Where's Anna?" Young Allison asked.

Bob watched Anna look around after Young Allison headed towards the restroom.

"She's by the jukebox. She's in back of it almost." Bob said.

Young Allison looked over at the jukebox. It looked like Anna was 'hiding'.

What the Hell?

Young Allison went over to where Anna was at.

"What's wrong?" Young Allison asked.

Anna looked around the interior of the malt shop a little nervously.

"I feel 'different'." Anna said.

Young Allison was instantly concerned that there was some type of a problem.

"Are you malfunctioning?" Young Allison asked.

Anna looked down the front of her sheath.

"No." Anna said. "It's the way I 'look'…."

Young Allison saw what she meant. She didn't think it should be that big of a deal. That's how she looked too.

"You look like me now." Young Allison said. "This is how we look."

Anna realized that was true. She watched as Young Allison looked down the front of her body. She quickly realized she was going to make Young Allison feel bad about the way that she looked.

"I'm sorry." Anna said. "I'm going to give you a complex if I keep doing this. It's just that it's a big change for me from how I looked before."

Young Allison didn't think this was a big deal. It was certainly nothing to dwell on. They both knew the future and what their appearance would be.

"We both know what we will look like as we'll 'grow'." Young Allison said.

The next song started to play.

'Sweet Little Sixteen' by 'Chuck Berry', filled the room.

Young Allison thought about the first song Anna chose and now this song.

"Do I detect a common theme in the music you selected?" Young Allison asked.

Anna thought it was because she wanted her teenage appearance back.

"I think so." Anna said. "Its wishful thinking on my part I guess."

That thought gave Young Allison an idea about something to do in the not so distant future.

"We'll play these songs here again when we get back from the past." Young Allison said. "Then they will be about 'us'."

Anna looked over at the counter.

"Our order is ready." Anna said.

Bob already paid so they took the cardboard trays of malts and ice cream and headed for the door.

'You're Sixteen' by 'Johnny Burnette', began to play as they exited.

Young Allison looked over at Anna and smiled

Anna shrugged her shoulders.

"We'll get there together, Anna." Young Allison said. "You're still beautiful to me no matter how you look. I know your program is really you anyway. It doesn't matter what your sheath looks like."

That honest thought made Anna smile. It actually made her love Young Allison even more.

"You're the best, Allison." Anna said.

They climbed in the SUV with the treats and headed for the Young Residence.

John checked to see where everyone was at now. He was able to track the progress of the captured equipment. He was glad to see Dan and Frank were away from the area now. He wasn't happy with what he saw for Savannah and Cameron.

"I see Cameron isn't done dragging Savannah around." John said. "At least Young Allison is headed back home. I don't see why Savannah can't be too."

John Henry viewed things the same way that Cameron did.

"The operation hasn't concluded yet." John Henry said.

That wasn't the answer that John wanted to hear. He thought about how the girls started out today with what they thought would be fun and some time with each other. So far the day had been anything but that. He knew how disappointed he would have been if everything like that would have been messed up for him. He'd already experienced enough stuff like that growing up.

"They were out for a day of fun and sharing, not to get involved with Skynet activity." John said. "Where they're headed now can only lead to more danger."

John Henry viewed it as additional training for both Savannah and Young Allison.

"There are many paths on a journey." John Henry said.

John was not sure what that meant exactly. He didn't want to ask because he was sure that he wouldn't like the answer and it would only further upset him. The one thing that he was sure of was that Cameron and Savannah were headed for unnecessary danger. He also knew that Cameron had a way to find danger even if it didn't find her.

"I want some teams of Terminators to back them up." John said. "I know they're headed for Las Vegas. I don't want them there alone. We don't know what's happening there or what they will face."

John Henry thought it was a good tactical move by Cameron.

"That's where the action is or will be if there is any." John Henry said. "We know that much."

John wanted to do more. It was time for action.

"How soon can the jet be ready?" John asked. "I think we can be there in less than an hour from wheels up."

John Henry already anticipated John's next move. John already expressed his earlier desire to go to Las Vegas. He made all the arrangements already.

"The jet will be ready by the time we get to Van Nuys Airport." John Henry said.

John looked a little surprised.

"We?" John asked.

John Henry knew that Bob normally accompanied John on his away missions. Bob was currently tied up. Besides, he was ready for a little time outside of the base. He could use a break from being plugged in all the time.

"I'm going to go with you. I want to try my gambling skills." John Henry said. "Bob is away as well, he's with Young Allison. He picked Young Allison and Anna up from the airport."

John contemplated what to do. He was sure whatever he did would have some kind of repercussions. Most likely they would be negative.

"Do you think I should run this by Cameron or surprise her?" John asked.

John Henry was sure anything John did would be frowned upon by Cameron.

"Cameron doesn't like surprises." John Henry said.

John smiled to himself. He was well aware of that.

"No, she doesn't. This will reinforce that belief." John said. "Let me grab a few things from my room. We'll head to Van Nuys as soon as I return."

John headed for his room while John Henry unplugged.

John passed Gail in the hallway near Savannah's room. She'd just put something in a bag. She seemed to be in a hurry.

They exchanged greetings and kept going.

John didn't think Gail looked very happy. He thought about it and she never really did. It was only when she was around Jesse or Savannah that she looked 'normal'. Being around the other girls, both Metal and human, was also positive for her. The rest of the time she looked like she wanted to terminate someone.

Right now was one of those times. She really looked like she wanted to terminate someone. He actually felt that look was directed at him. He shook his head to clear it. Where did that thought come from?

Moments ago:

Gail headed for Savannah's room. She knocked and entered after a few seconds.

She exited a few minutes later with several items.

'Do you have everything?' Flashed on Gail's phone.

'I do….' Gail responded.

She carefully put the items she'd collected in a carry-on bag and exited back into the hall.

Savannah climbed to a higher altitude than they flew in at. She also stayed further off to the side of the tracks. She didn't want to make it look like they were too interested in the train if anyone on the ground were to spot them.

"I see the train." Cameron said.

Savannah felt guilty for the way the crew was mistreated so they could carry out their operation. There was really no way around all of that and to remain undetected other than what they'd done.

"I hope John Henry made sure they get green lights the rest of the way." Savannah said.

Cameron looked over at Savannah.

"Green lights - come in many forms." Cameron said.

Savannah glanced at Cameron's nude form and smiled.

"I can 'see' that." Savannah said.

Cameron smiled back at her.

Savannah was even with the train now and accelerating away from it.

"Do you see anything around the train that looks out of place?" Savannah asked. "I'm pretty high up."

Cameron didn't spot any other vehicles in the vicinity of the train either. There didn't appear to be any issues.

"No, the train is making track speed." Cameron said. "I left all the trackers inside the boxcars. Everything should look normal to them, whoever is tracking them."

Savannah was sure at some point there would be some repercussions about the truck that raced alongside of the boxcars as it tried to inspect them before its untimely demise.

"What about the wrecked 'four by four'?" Savannah asked. "Someone is going to miss it at some point."

Cameron didn't think it would be that big of a deal.

"It should be clear to whoever finds the truck what happened to it. I'll have a team watch it." Cameron said. "They will stay there for two days to see if the Grays come to look for it."

Savannah wasn't sure that was such a good idea. The area was very remote and there were few places that offered any type of concealment.

"Will our team be protected from being spotted by any Terminators or an HK drone?" Savannah asked.

Cameron felt they could take enough precautions. They could always set up surveillance equipment as well.

"Yes. They're protected." Cameron said. "They will be."

Savannah was sure that someone would come to investigate.

"I think there will be someone that shows up." Savannah said.

Cameron knew that they would look for any of their people who disappeared.

"I think you're right." Cameron said.

Savannah saw the potential for a problem. She was sure it was bound to raise a few questions.

"If they know it was a railroad accident, won't they wonder why it wasn't reported?" Savannah asked.

"That may raise some eyebrows if someone else finds it first." Cameron said.

Cameron looked back. They were past the train now.

"Do you want me to come around again?" Savannah asked. "I can circle it again."

Cameron was still naked. She wanted to get to Las Vegas with Savannah.

"No, we need to park the plane in Las Vegas and – get a room…." Cameron said.

Savannah looked at Cameron again. It was impossible not to look at her naked body.

"What about transportation once we arrive?" Savannah asked.

Savannah glanced in the back of the plane. There was an assortment of weapons and tactical gear as well as the clean clothes for Cameron.

Cameron was confident in her abilities.

"I don't think that will be a problem." Cameron said.

Savannah had to smile to herself.

"It seldom is." Savannah said.

Cameron looked around the sky and around the terrain below them in all directions.

"We still have about an hour on our flight." Cameron said.

Savannah moistened her lips lightly. She was very aroused right now. She looked over at Cameron.

"I could put the plane on autopilot…." Savannah said. "I think we're close enough to Las Vegas for it to count as Vegas…."

Cameron looked at Savannah to see if she was joking.

They piled back into the SUV at the malt shop and headed for the Young residence. They arrived back at home in record time. It appeared that CamNet used 'traffic management' and made sure they received green lights all the way. Bob hadn't needed to exceed the speed limit by much since there was no need for him to stop for any red lights.

It seemed that they were a big hit once they arrived at the Young residence.

Young Allison and Anna handed out the treats when they were inside. Each treat was handed out with a hug in return.

The ice cream was always a big hit with the girls, both Metal and Human.

Summer went over to Bob. He started to make origami figures for her as she enjoyed her malt. She was even happier when he gave her his ice cream treat.

The festive mood was soon altered.

Young Allison received a special tone on her phone.

She knew before she looked at it that Cameron and Savannah were headed back into harm's way.

Anna looked at the message as well.

"Don't worry." Anna said as she looked over Young Allison's shoulder. "She will protect her."

Young Allison felt a certain amount of discouragement. She wished she was by Savannah's side for the new adventure.

"I know Savannah will protect her…." Young Allison said. "It's her function…."

Sometimes You Do Stupid Things

I seem not to exist
Until there's something you want
Then I have to wait
For your next stunt

With things you do
You make me want to hide
Yet for your wishes
I still endure and abide

Your eyes can see
But your mind can not
Don't I also have
From what them you sought

No matter what you do
The cruel things you say
I'm always still here
I've never gone away

I exist and remain
What you do stings
I think you well know
Sometimes you do stupid things

Nobody
