BTW, to make some stuff make sense, later on, Bruce Banner became the Hulk at 20. He is still 49 when the first Avengers movie occurs. Warning, Minor language, about the same level as the actual movies.

The cover is something that I made to represent Almirah's Avengers symbol.

Disclaimer: I do not and will never own the Avengers. They belong to Stan Lee, may he rest in peace.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Almirah and her friends were celebrating her 13th birthday. They were talking about which classes they liked and didn't like and how cool it was to be juniors and finally be considered to be upperclassmen. Almirah was very intelligent and so had advanced four years above her age level that's why she was a junior. Rosa, one of Almirah's friends, got a call on her phone. After the call, she ran off, saying that her brother got his head stuck in a jar again and she needed to pick up vaseline. Lizzy had to go soon afterward, saying that she needed to be at the book-store, where she worked part-time. Almirah was left alone, sitting at the table, and stayed there for a short while.

Later Almirah was walking down the alleyway she had hoped would be a shortcut, when a man walked out from the shadows, speaking as he came closer. "Well, Hello, Almirah."

Almirah took a few steps back, watching the man as he came closer, "Have you ever heard of HYDRA, Almirah?"

Almirah shook her head finally speaking, "My mum told me not to talk to strangers."

He scowled at her, "Don't get smart with me kid. Now you are going to follow me without fighting understand?"

Almirah smirked, "My degree of sarcasm depends or your degree of stupidity, and I'll pass."

The man's scowl turned into a glare, "You might not get this now, but you are most likely going to be one of our best agents whether you like it or not."

"Umm, nope. There is no way you are this much of a jerk naturally, you must go home and practice."

"You WILL come with me NOW!"

"BANANA!" Almirah interrupted quickly, thinking about what she could do to escape from the situation

"...What?"

Almirah took yet another step backward, speaking as she moved, "I just-I really want a banana right now."

The man blinked multiple times, "...then go get one?"

Almirah turned around when she heard those words, making sure to run as fast as she could before he realized she was going. Before Almirah made it far, she heard the man shout, "Shit! I'm gonna get fired for this!"

Almirah dashed around the corner, bumping into a police officer, who was almost knocked off of balance. Almirah was relieved to see someone that could help her with what was going on. She pointed her finger behind her and spoke between pants, "Officer! I was being chased by this man who wants to kidnap me. You've got to help me!"

The officer smiled at her and led her down the street, "Follow me, and I'll take you to my cruiser I use and radio for help." Almirah followed him. She saw the cruiser up ahead and started walking towards it. She passed a van as she walked towards the car. The van door suddenly opened and the police officer pushed her in before hopping in himself. Almirah felt a prick in the side of her neck. Her struggling became more sluggish as blackness overcame her.

Almirah's P.O.V.

It had been a little over 11 years since I was kidnapped and taken to Hydra. At first, I fought the people that had kidnapped me, but I was punished for misbehaving in any manner at all. The punishments were brutal and made sure that I would never make the same mistake again. I had resisted being brainwashed for as long as I could bear to before I gave in. It wasn't hard for them after that. Even though I followed their orders, I never forgot who I was. I wasn't going to become their perfect little weapon. They trained me and experimented on me. I became their most prized possession, that was, until, I escaped...

It was another big meeting between Hydra and their allies. I hated these meetings. The head of Hydra always showed me off like a trophy. I couldn't say anything against it, or I would be punished again. I was wearing a blood-red, strapless, form-fitting dress that had a slit up one leg that went to my knee. I had to sit on the arm of the chair of the boss as the meeting went on. There were two new people who wanted to possibly join Hydra. They said their names were Naveah Reighn and Carlos Bridgers. I read their minds and found out that they really were agents of SHIELD and I was looking at the infamous Black Widow and Hawkeye. Now according to Hydra, I am supposed to tell them if they have a mole, one of the reasons they gave that particular power, but they kidnapped, tortured, and experimented on me so I wasn't going to tell them anything. The meeting continued on and I got an amazing idea. With my mind-reading abilities, I could also project my thoughts to someone or someones. I turned my attention to the SHIELD agents. 'Hello? Can you hear me? Don't panic.'

The agents made no outward signs that they were startled, but I saw them glance at each other. 'You are not going crazy Agents Barton and Romanoff. You can just think about what you want to say. The others can not hear us.'

'Okay. Who are you?' They both said almost at the same time.

'My name is Almirah Kyra B-Jennings. I was taken by Hydra years ago, and I want out.'

'How do we know that we can believe you?' Barton asked.

'You don't but I am also the only one that knows who you really are and I think you want it to stay that way. I am done being Hydra's plaything. So, do we have a deal? I give you all the info you want and you take me with you.'

'Deal.' Black Widow thought.

I knew that things were about to get interesting and I mentally rubbed my hands together evilly.

I've secretly worked for SHIELD ever since. That was about 5 years ago. I was with Hydra for 6 years before I finally got out. The only people that knew about me were Clint, Natasha, Fury, and Coulson. I got really close to all of them, especially Clint and Natasha. They were like my protective older siblings. I stayed off the grid for the most part unless Fury needed me for a mission. This was one of those times. Coulson had called me and told me how they were starting the Avengers Initiative for a big threat. I decided I wanted to help, not that I told them that.

Clint was never brainwashed by Loki.

I arrived on the hellicarrier and walked towards the bridge. I heard Fury talking with some people. Two of which I recognized. I decided to have a little fun. I melted into the shadows, literally, and went to the shadows that were right behind Fury. He was arguing with Natasha and Clint. "No. I will not call her in."

"But Fury," Clint protested, "She is one of the best we got. We have to call her in. We are dealing with aliens and gods. There is no one better equipped."

"I said no Agent Barton. We are not pulling her into this. Also, I don't want to see her and Stark in the same room."

"Who are you guys talking about?" I heard a man with brown hair, sitting tensely say.

"She is no one, and I do not want her here."

'Awww, they're talking about me.' I thought.

"Oh Nicky, you don't like me here?" I said stepping out of the shadows.

Fury jumped at least a foot in the air, and I let a big smirk appear on my face. Clint and Natasha snapped out of their shock and raced towards me, sweeping me up in a hug. "Almirah! You're here! I've missed you Mir." Clint practically squealed with excitement.

"Ya Clint. I'm here. I heard you guys have a little problem. Did I scare you, Nick?'

Fury shot me a glare. "I told you to call me Fury."

"I know, but I wouldn't have as much fun if I did that, would I?" I said quirking an eyebrow.

I looked at the table that everyone else was sitting at and saw someone else I knew. "Thor. Long time no see. What are you doing here?"

"Lady Almirah. How wonderful to see you as well. I am here to help deal with my brother, unfortunately."

"What are you talking about? What's wrong with Loki?"

I was growing more concerned. "He has declared war on Earth and has killed many people in the last few days. He has changed since the last time you saw him."

I swallowed hard. "Okay. Let's move one from that, please. I know everyone in here except the guy who asked Fury who I was. Hello. I'm Almirah, and you are?"I said this last bit turning towards the tense-looking man.

He looked up at me in shock. "You don't know who I am?"

"Well if I did, I wouldn't have asked."

He let out a small laugh at this. "Hello, Almirah, which first off, I love your name, and secondly I am Bruce Banner. Do I know you from somewhere? You look very familiar."

I froze. "Can you repeat your name for me one more time?"

He looked confused, but I needed to make sure I heard him right. If I did... "I said my name is Bruce Banner. Are you okay? You've gone kinda pale."

I felt my legs give out from underneath me, but the man who I thought to be Captian America, caught me before I hit the ground. "Are you okay ma'am?" He asked looking concerned.

"I'm fine, but answering your question from earlier Mr. Banner, you have never met me."

"Then why do I feel like I've seen you before?"

I knew if I revealed my secret, everything would change. Not even Fury, Clint, or Natasha knew. Even though I didn't want everyone to know, there was a small part of me that wanted to embrace the truth. I took a deep breath. "Sarah Jennings."

I saw Bruce freeze at my words, growing as pale as I had moments before. Lucky for him, he was already sitting down. Bruce looked me in the eye and I could tell the fear, but also longing that he felt. He tried to keep the shake out of his voice as he asked, "H-how old a-are you?"

Well, it was too late to turn back now. "24."

A look of realization flashed through his eyes. "So you are..."

"Yes."

"Do you hate me?"

"No. You had no clue, and neither did I until I was 12."

Everyone was watching back and forth with confusion clearly on their faces. Clint decided to speak up first. "Umm, Mir? Isn't Sarah Jennings your mother?"

"Yep," I said popping the p.

Fury started looking agitated. "Does someone want to tell me what the hell is going on?"

"I lied to everyone when I said my name. My name is Almirah Kyra Banner, daughter of Bruce Banner a.k.a. the Hulk."

Natasha was the only one that didn't look surprised. Knowing her, she had already figured this out. Probably as soon as me and my dad were in the same room. Fury still looked angry. "How did this happen exactly?"

I smiled. "Well, you see. It all started when my mum met my da-" I cut off as Fury shot me a glare. "Okay what happened was years before I was born, obviously, my mum and her husband at the time got into a big fight and parted ways for a while. My mum ended up in India where she met Bruce. They dated for a while before my mum told Bruce what had happened and Bruce gave her some sound advice. They ended up parting on good terms and my mum returned to her old husband. They ended up working things out, but still filed for a divorce. They realized they were too different and were better off friends. A few months later, my mum found out she was pregnant. Her ex, Chris, was there to help her. He is like an honor uncle now or was before my life got screwed up."

Bruce still looked a little shaky. "Why didn't she tell me?"

"She knew you were struggling with something big, and she did not want to burden you."

"Wait a moment," Clint interrupted, "Is that why Hydra kidnapped you because you have experimental super-soldier serum running through your blood?"

'Crap.' I thought. I was trying not to put it out there that I had been with Hydra. I saw Bruce start to turn a little green, and not the sick kind. "Bruce?"

Greener. "Bruce!?"

Greener. "DAD!"

The green immediately faded as his head shot up with a smile on his face. "Dad. I like the sound of that. We are going to talk about Hydra though."

I let out an exaggerated sigh, but I was also a little happy. I finally had my dad back. Nothing could ruin my mood.

Hello everyone. I hope you are enjoying. I don't know when I will update next, as I have other stories too, but it will be as soon as possible. Have a wonderful day, stay safe, healthy, and happy.

Cheers Mates,
