Ladybug and Cat Noir had their special spot for patrol, but their was other spot in Paris that was even more secretive, at least, in autumn it was. The two heroes had a favorite tree that they sat in and drank coca, and giggling.
So, when Cat narrowed his eyes and hissed, Ladybug knew something was wrong. "Cat, what's wrong?" she asked. "How dare he!" Cat growled. "Who?" Ladybug asked, and Cat pointed a finger through the golden and red leaves. "Hawkmoth?" Ladybug squeaked.
What was he doing out in broad daylight, in the park, no less? Well, he could be out for a stroll, but they knew better. "No one disturbs hot coca time, especially not him!"
Ladybug thought quickly. She snorted, and Cat's head shot up with a glare. "My Lady, this is serious!" "No, listen, I have a plan!" Cat's eyes widened as Ladybug whispered her plan in his ear. "Diabolical! I think it just might work!" "Wait for my signal, then you know what to do."
Cat kept a eye on Hawkmoth as Ladybug scampered away, as nimble as a squirrel. "Who can I akumatize today?" Hawkmoth said, aloud.
Chuck, chuck, chuck! Out of nowhere, at least ten squirrels came dashing at Hawkmoth, the element of surprise causing him to back away. "Get out of here, you foul things!" he waved his cane. Ladybug gave Cat the signal. Okay, it was go time.
Cat leaped, flying towards the villain and a huge pile of leaves. Hawkmoth gave a grunt of surprise when he sat up, only to find Ladybug's yo-yo tied around his middle. "Ladybug! Cat Noir! How did you know my plan?"
"Oh, we have our ways," Ladybug said, giving Cat a wink. "We'll let you go this time."
With peace restored, Ladybug and Cat clambered back into the tree, Cat retrieving their mugs of coca. "M'lady, how did you get all those squirrels here willingly?" "Simple. Papa feeds the squirrels, and I often go with him to the park, and they followed me thinking I had acorns."
"Your creativity will never cease to amaze me, My Lady."
So, the heroes settled back the warm golden sun seeping through the trees. It worked its magic for soon Ladybug and Cat Noir were asleep with coca mustaches, dozing in the autumn afternoon.
