Chapter 861
Closed Her Hand
Savannah left the main casino floor. The man they currently surveilled looked around. They weren't sure if he checked to see where Savannah went or not. He looked around one final time and headed for the side door. That was the location where Savannah moved to.
John Henry sent out the advisory because he knew Savannah couldn't see where the man was at currently.
"The man has started to move in the direction where you're at, Savannah." John Henry said.
Savannah checked her weapons one more time. She was prepared to use either one. Originally she was going to use her Taser. She decided if he approached her that she was going to kill him instead. He made her feel very uneasy.
"Let me look busy and occupied." Savannah said. "Keep me posted in feet and direction as to where he is at from my position with whatever direction that I'm facing."
Savannah moved past the side door and started to play on some slot machines that were located there by the door.
She didn't turn to see the man but relied on John Henry to tell her where he was at.
"He is one hundred and three feet to your left side, near the door." John Henry said. "He looks impatient."
Savannah knew it would only take a matter of seconds for someone to cover that distance if they ran.
"Is he looking in my direction?" Savannah asked.
Savannah reached down and touched her Glock and Taser again.
"He did but not at you." John Henry said.
Savannah knew that Cameron was close by. She didn't know how close.
"Where's Cameron at?" Savannah asked.
John Henry carefully tracked everyone.
"She's on the other side of him. She's still in the casino." John Henry said.
She wanted to know how much longer she was going to have to face the slot machine. It was an electronic one so she actually hadn't needed to put any money into it. She was pretty sure that CamNet was the one who controlled it. So far it hadn't paid anything. She thought that that was by design because she'd stated earlier that she didn't want to fool with the money for the payout.
"What is the ETA of his ride?" Savannah asked.
John Henry currently watched the traffic cams on the main boulevard.
"It should have been two minutes." John Henry said.
Savannah became a little alarmed.
"Is there a problem?" Savannah asked.
John Henry could only speculate as to what the driver of the sedan what's about to do.
"I don't know yet." John Henry said. "The blue sedan has fallen behind several traffic lights from Frank and Dan."
Savannah knew Sheila was behind him. She was concerned for her safety. More than likely she would close up on the man if he purposely continued to fall behind at signals.
"What about Sheila?" Savannah asked.
John Henry could see she was only about a minute and a half behind him.
"She's closing on him." John Henry said. "She'll give you and Cameron a ride."
Savannah didn't want to take any chances.
"Let me know if the man looks at me or moves in my direction." Savannah said. "I might have to 'Zap' him. I'll 'pop' him if I need to. Make sure that Sheila watches behind her as well. As far as we know the man may have started this type of driving behavior to see if he had a tail and who closed up on him and then who didn't pass him but stayed behind him."
John and John Henry looked at each other in the casino Command Center. They both thought what Savannah just said about the man checking for a tail made sense. They didn't want Sheila to get caught up in it either.
Cameron was at an electronic poker game now. She was still in the main casino. She commanded a good view of the side door and the waiting man. Savannah was just out of her view.
She still wanted to terminate him because he'd moved closer to Savannah earlier. Now he was only a short distance away.
John was able to view Cameron through the security cameras. She looked very uneasy to him as she sat at the machine she played at.
"Cameron, relax." John said. "We know the man's waiting for his ride."
John's advice actually irritated her. She didn't need to be told how to do her job. Who did John think took the fight to the enemy the majority of the time? It was her. She knew what to do and when to act.
"That's easy for you to say." Cameron said. "You're not here."
John could tell that he'd agitated her. That wasn't his intent. He wanted to soften his response.
"I'm not but two people I care about and LOVE are." John said.
Cameron smiled.
"OK, John." Cameron said. "We're all one big happy family."
"Yes." John said.
Cameron sent a reminder back.
"The FOUR of us…." Cameron said.
John looked at John Henry when Cameron made that statement. John Henry shook his head from side to side. He silently reminded John not to engage her. She was already agitated and made her point about what she wanted for the future. None of that was going to change one way or the other as far as she was concerned. There was no need to comment on it further.
Cameron waited for John to respond back but he didn't. John was very reluctant to accept the 'Natural Order' even though he, well, Future John, was the one who sent her back to make sure it happened. She often wondered why that concept was so hard for him to grasp. Sometimes she wondered if he suffered from a learning disability.
She saw the man move a little closer to Savannah even though he didn't look at her. He looked very impatient and irritated. He checked his watch several times and looked outside to see where his ride was at.
Cameron looked forward to when she could terminate this man. She hoped it was soon. She wanted to slowly choke the life out of him so she could watch him terminate. She wanted him to know who killed him.
Sheila closed up on the blue sedan with the Escalade. On another mission they'd 'borrowed' an Escalade before. She liked everything about it. She thought that Savannah would like a little luxury for once. Most of what they used was very basic.
She was now two signals in back of the blue sedan. He suddenly hung a right hand turn. It appeared he just took evasive action. She was aware he'd fallen back a few signals but she wondered if he'd picked her up as a threat. She didn't see how since she originally started out three minutes after he did. She didn't believe it was anything that she'd done that triggered that maneuver.
"He's running." Sheila said. "The blue sedan just took off."
John found the man's behavior rather confusing. They already knew where he was going and so did he. The other man who waited for him was clearly upset that his ride hadn't come yet. This unnecessary maneuver would only create a further delay.
"We know where he's headed." John said.
Sheila, like all Terminators, behaved somewhat like a cat. When something moved in front of them, their instinct what's to catch it. Normally when the cat caught something, they killed it. That was her instinct now and what she wanted to do.
"Do we?" Sheila asked. "I want to take him down. I'm fed up with these whackers."
Everything about the two men bothered her. She didn't like how they tried repeated attempts to elude her and the other Terminators. She looked forward to when she could terminate one or both of the men. She hoped it was sooner rather than later. She hoped that she was alone with him when she could terminate him. She decided she would rip his limbs from his body one by one, along with anything else that protruded from it.
Frank and Dan watched the man drop back one more signal. It was decided Dan would acquire additional transportation to better be able to track the man in the blue car. He proved to be very elusive. Both Dan and Frank hoped they would get the opportunity to terminate both of the men.
Dan looked back. He was ready to make a move. When a crowd of people crossed the street a signal behind them, Dan exited the vehicle. He didn't want to be spotted getting out of the vehicle. The group of people gave him good cover.
Frank watched his rear view mirror. He was sure that the man was too far behind to be able to view what just happened.
"Dan is on foot." Frank said. "He is going to acquire some additional transportation."
Dan moved behind a store front wall and went to look back around the corner.
"We think the man's going to run." Dan said. "I want to be ready."
Frank watched what Dan said happen in his rear view mirror
"He just hung a right." Frank said.
John didn't want them to worry. He didn't think it was a problem yet. They knew that he needed to come and retrieve the other man who clearly waited for him. There was still one Terminator behind him as well.
"Sheila is behind him." John said.
John Henry gave Frank instructions where to go and wait. He was to acquire new transportation as well. It was possible the man made his vehicle and that's why he bolted.
"What about Cameron and Savannah?" Frank asked.
John felt they had everything under control. He needed everyone to take a step back and let things play out.
"Sheila will pick them up." John said. "We know what his destination is."
Dan was headed for a sports car that was parked nearby when he saw something that would be better for the chase. It was a motorcycle.
He broke the lock on the motorbike and took off. He was going to head the blue sedan off. John Henry would feed him directions. He liked the horsepower to weight ratio that the motorcycle offered.
Cammy and Gail attempted to obtain any other information the Grays might possess. It wasn't much. At this point, Cammy and Gail didn't care. There was a reckoning coming and they were both long overdue to administer it.
Cammy didn't like what was done.
"We are almost done here." Cammy said.
Gail kept a watch out the front and the back as Cammy 'worked'. She didn't participate in any of the actual work. Cammy wanted to take full responsibility for what occurred if it ever came up or was an issue. She understood Cammy actually wanted to protect her in case Savannah found out. She would participate in the finale though. That was because of what was done to the 'young redhead' in the future.
"It's time for dessert." Gail said.
Cammy looked up and smiled.
"Payback time…." Cammy said.
Cammy returned with a dirty dish pan of water. She dumped half on each Gray. She didn't want them passed out for the final part.
Both Grays came around slowly.
"No, no, no, no." Cammy said. "Don't you pass out on me yet, you filthy Grays."
Gail knew that they needed to be awake for the finale to truly appreciate it.
"We're not done yet." Gail said.
Cammy really liked the plan that they'd come up with. There was a certain amount of poetic justice to it.
Ally followed the box truck from a great distance. She kept as far away from it as she could see it with her extended Terminator vision.
She looked around and there was nothing but sand and rocks with a few hills around them. She really wondered where they were going. She reviewed a file of a satellite map when she noticed the distance between them started to close up some. She quickly checked her speed. It wasn't her.
"The box truck is slowing." Ally said.
John looked at an image of a satellite map where Ally was at. He knew that the truck was in front of her but it wasn't that much further in front of her. He didn't like the look of the land.
"I want you to fall back immediately, Ally." John said.
Ali dropped back. She didn't see where they could possibly be headed.
"What are their turnoff options?" Ally asked.
There were no paved roads around where they were at, other than the one they were on.
"There is a dirt road that runs in both directions across your route." John Henry said.
John wanted to make sure that Ally wasn't being set up for a hit.
"Is there anyone else behind you?" John asked.
Allie quickly checked behind her again. That was something that she monitored once they were on the road where there were no other roads.
"No." Ally said. "They may have a remote camera set up somewhere. They might be headed for a specific destination as well."
John didn't want to chance it. His first thought was that there might be a mine of some type where the box truck was headed. This terrain didn't seem to be suited for that. He was aware that not all mines needed to be in a mountain.
"I want you to stop." John said. "The drones will be there in a few minutes."
John Henry looked at the images of the satellite map as well. The box truck was literally in the middle of nowhere. He knew that the drones were close. He checked on their ETA.
"I make it that the drones will be there in six minutes." John Henry said. "They are in a wide open expanse. There is nowhere for them to go unless they go underground. Even if they do go underground, we know the approximate area."
Ally didn't think it would look good for her to just stop and remain where she was at. She was sure that that would set her up as a target.
"They're turning to the right." Ally said. "I think I should keep going and go past their location. That way it won't look like I stopped because they turned if they have eyes on me."
John wasn't sure that that was the right choice. He didn't want to lose that truck.
"I don't know." John said.
Ally started out again on her own intuition. She was the one on the ground and the way she read the situation, it indicated to her that she should keep moving. Stopped or sitting she was a target.
"I do." Ally said. "What if THEY have a drone up?"
John Henry quickly checked for any radar signatures in the area.
"I haven't detected any." John Henry said.
Ally thought that was a two way street. At least it could be.
"Can they detect ours?" Ally asked.
John quickly understood her concern.
"Your point is well taken." John said.
Ally wanted to wait for the drone reinforcements.
"I'll remain at the same speed and pass where they turned." Ally said. "Once I have drone support and a clear picture of what is happening around me, I'll determine my next move."
Ally was sure if she stopped she would make herself a target. She could always come back later and reacquire the box truck. There hadn't appeared to be too many places around there where something that big could be concealed. The drones should be able to find it if nothing else. That was the most likely scenario unless the box truck was to disappear inside of a mine entrance. That was a very real possibility.
Allison rushed to Jesse's room. She opened the door without thinking and went in.
"Vanna needs you to…." Allison started and stopped.
Jesse and her mother were 'busy'. They were very 'busy'.
"I'm sorry." Allison said.
Allison turned to leave.
Claire lifted her head from between Jesse's legs.
"Wait." Claire said. "What's wrong?"
Claire sat up and pulled the sheet up to cover herself. Jesse made no attempt to cover herself. She got up and stood naked next to Claire.
"Riley's having a problem of some kind." Allison said as she peeked back over her shoulder. "Vanna went to help."
As soon as she saw her mother was 'decent' with the sheet, she turned around and faced them. Allison saw Jesse was naked but thought she really looked 'naked' without her nipple rings. She couldn't help but stare at Jesse and think that she would probably be with her later on when Vanna was with her mother. Jesse's larger breast size excited her.
Claire let the sheet fall away and started to look for her clothes. Jesse did the same thing. Allison didn't like to 'see' her mother naked but she did see what a pretty woman she was, even after three children. Her figure was shapely and attractive. She was fit and trim. Her face was beautiful. There was no droop or sag to any part of her body. Everything on both the top and the bottom was high and tight. It was actually quite beautiful. She thought her mother's body was better than hers. She wanted to blame it on the future but couldn't.
"Mom, you know where Holly's room is at, right?" Allison asked.
Claire actually 'used' the room before. She'd been to a lot of rooms around the base whenever she visited.
"Yes." Claire said.
Allison wanted to have a 'medical team' on standby.
"Please go there and get the Metal girls." Allison said. "They might be 'busy'. Have them go to the infirmary."
Claire continued to put her clothes on. She felt that she needed to say something to Allison.
"I'm sorry about that, Allison. I…." Claire started.
Allison didn't want to hear it. They were all young women with the same needs and desires.
"Mom, stop." Allison interrupted. "It's no big deal. We all do it with the same people. We're all one big happy family."
Claire figured before they returned to Palmdale that she would be with Vanna and Allison would be with Jesse. There was plenty of love to share for everyone. They were all one big happy family.
Jesse slipped on a pair of pants and grabbed a shirt, which she held in her hand and headed out topless.
"I still want to try one of those, 'Mother - Daughter' things…." Jesse said as she passed Allison.
It was clear her mother heard what was said as well.
Allison looked at her mother who smiled at her and shrugged her shoulders. She was left with the distinct feeling that Jesse must have already discussed that with her mother. She looked at her mother one more time and quickly followed Jesse.
Claire watched them go and hurried out of the room. She was up for the 'Mother - Daughter' thing. She didn't see what it could hurt. Besides her daughters were Summer and Young Allison. Allison was just one of the girls to her.
Vanna knocked and entered Riley's room.
"Where's Derek?" Vanna asked.
Riley felt responsible.
"He's out with Kyle and Sarah. I told him to go." Riley said. "Sarah wanted to pick out some baby clothes for Precious. She is her niece."
Vanna wanted to find out what the problem was. She didn't think that Riley would have called unless there was a real problem.
"Tell me what happened." Vanna said.
Riley reached up and touched her breasts.
"I'm not lactating much. It's like they don't work." Riley said. "I can see yours are."
Vanna looked down at the front of her shirt and there were two small wet spots. That happened more and more.
Vanna went to Precious and looked at her. She was thrilled at the prospect that she might be able to nurse Precious. She wanted to make sure that Riley expended all other options first.
"Did you try the formula?" Vanna asked.
Riley frowned a little.
"She doesn't like it." Riley said. "I want her to have natural feedings. They're healthier and better for the baby."
It was common in the future to have a female that could lactate, feed other women's babies that needed it. This is what they all grew up with. It seemed 'normal' to all of them. There was no formula. If there would have been, it might have been contaminated.
"Let me clean up real fast." Vanna said as she headed into the bathroom. "Allison and Jesse are coming as well as the Metal girls. They can 'plug in' to the medical database at the infirmary and check you out."
Jesse and Allison arrived. Riley filled them in.
Jesse still held her shirt in her hand. She noticed Riley 'check her out'.
Vanna returned without her top on.
Riley couldn't help but look on with some awe at the larger breasts that both Vanna and Jesse now exhibited. She was aware her breasts hadn't increased in size much, if at all.
"Wow, you both have really bulked up." Riley said. "That's quite impressive."
Vanna wanted to do everything the same way that Riley did
"Help me do exactly what you do." Vanna said. "I want it to be the same experience for Precious."
Vanna sat in Riley's chair.
Allison watched as Riley moved Precious into Vanna's arms and she started to nurse. The look of contentment and satisfaction on Vanna's face said it all. Vanna wanted to be a mother.
Vanna looked up at Allison with tears in her eyes.
"Isn't this beautiful?" Vanna asked.
Allison absentmindedly touched her abdomen.
"Yes." Allison said. "It is beautiful."
Jesse and Riley watched but said nothing. They knew the two long time lovers were sharing a painful private moment. They'd both been unable to carry a pregnancy to term.
"Let's get you to the infirmary." Jesse said to Riley and took her away.
Riley looked back once at how happy Vanna looked. She felt overwhelmed in her efforts to take care of Precious. Vanna looked like a natural.
My Kind Of Story
It's the story
Of a heart turned cold
A cold cold heart
The painful story it's told
The cold cold heart
Turns from frozen ice
To cold cold stone
They won't even think twice
A stone cold heart
Is empty, lonely and sad
What is destroyed
Can never again be had
The cold stone heart
Will wither and die
It becomes a dead heart
A story we can all apply
The stone cold dead heart
Dies extremely gory
Everyone knows it's
My kind of story
Nobody
