Doctor House is a rough sort of man, enigmatic, brusque, and downright rude. But all it takes is one intern with a hidden story of tragedy to make his heart grow three sizes. Probably OOC, Non Canon, AU, all of the above. Found it in my drafts and decided, what the hey, let's throw it out for the world.

Set after 'No Reason' (S2), House must work through the immediate consequences: near death, successful ketamine treatment, hallucination. But he's not the only one for whom the shooting has caused a questioning of previously settled realities—Cameron is beginning to accept what she wants more than anything else. No matter the past, a future is always something worth fighting for.

AU Where Wilson's cancer arc happens but he receives treatment, doesn't die and gets better. Hilson established relationship. Wilson wakes up in the middle of the night with difficulty breathing; he's able to diagnose a pulmonary embolism as House calls 911. Story follows recovery, how the random event is processed and includes much hurt/comfort and romance fluff.

House receives news that he has a long lost son, who is a product of illegal artificial insemination, which resulted in his paternity involving both Cuddy and House's DNA. He chooses not to tell her when she decides to marry Lucas, with nothing to lose House embraces fatherhood and recovery. How long can he keep this secret about his son's origin?

It started off like any other Tuesday, just that this Tuesday would turn into a nightmare all its own. Wilson had wanted to work, and House had wanted to not, but they both wind up in a situation neither of them could have ever imagined. Wilson gets shot and the oncoming recovery will test the depth of their friendship and call on them to be there more for one another.

Wilson's got a thing for thin lips, witty sarcasm and a diagnostician who has an eagerness for Wilson being all right medically. Sure, fainting spells weren't exactly the way he wanted to go about confessing that love, but what could he do? House follows suit on trying to ascertain why Wilson's heart is suddenly going a'flutter.

We all know that House got shot in the season two finale: "No Reason". Well, the shooter shows up again... and this time, while planning on actually killing him, Wilson steps in at the last minute. All doesn't go as planned, as he is the one who gets shot instead. Will he survive his wounds? Read to find out.

After claiming that he got bitten by a mosquito in the season five episode: "The Itch", something is up with House. He actually gets really sick from it. Can Wilson, Cuddy, and his team find a way to cure and save him?

Set following After Hours (S7E22), and ignores everything from Moving On onwards. A PPTH donor has fallen mysteriously ill and his family is threatening a lawsuit if they don't get the best doctor on his case. A frantic Cuddy sends the fellows she can find on a mission to retrieve him, not knowing he is dealing with severe pain. Thirteen is dealing with her own issues.
