Chapter 18
With Hinata
Fenrir was feeling irate as he could see that Hinata was staring at a hair clip shaped like an 8 bit rocket. It was the same one that Chiaki used to wear and the same one that Izuru removed from Chiaki when he thought the girl died in Junko's trap. Fenrir groaned as he could sense the tension in Hajime.
"Kid, I get that you lost your mate. Half of the pack left and saw her as their alpha." Fenrir said before sighing. "Actually, she would be the Beta. That prissy rich girl is the alpha of all the packs." He said.
Hinata ignored him as he clutched the hair clip close to his chest. Making the Kamui feel annoyed by the fact that he was being ignored.
"Look, your mate is gone and your pack is smaller. Too bad, so sad, stop crying like a bitch." Fenrir said coldly. "We move on because crying won't get you anywhere. With any luck, you can show everyone who the alpha is and she will regret leaving your pack. Does that sound good?" he asked, thinking he motivated Hinata.
Hinata sighed as he pocketed the hair clip, "Whatever, you're right." he said as he hopped onto his motorcycle. "There's no use in crying. Only focusing on wiping out the rival packs." He said as he puts on his helmet.
"Damn straight, now don't get hurt. Any blood you leak belongs to me." Fenrir said as Hinata revved his engine.
Using that as his signal, Kazuichi started the engine to a new van he invented. One that wasn't too fast, but built with enough equipment to work as a miniature mobile base. Enough armor to withstand the battle and enough equipment to help win the battle. Alongside him were a couple of Nudist Beach agents and Sonia who was siding at the front with him.
"Do you think you understand the layout of everything Sonia?" Kazuichi asked.
"The instructions were fairly difficult to read and were disorganized." Sonia said, making Kazuichi feel depressed. "However, I will not use that as an excuse for failure. Lovely designs can wait for when organize the victory parade." she said, making the mechanic feel better.
"Alright then, I'll leave it up to you!" Kazuichi said as he started following Hinata up a highway towards Kyoto.
As Kazuichi stayed close to Hinata, he wondered how focused his friend was. As he was preparing the tactical van for the drive, he noticed Hinata holding the hair clip. Kazuichi thought back to the time those two became close and it was ironic really. Kazuichi's friendship with Hajime Hinata was all simulated and the only person that knew him was Chiaki and the one in the simulation was just a program because the real Chiaki was hospitalized.
Kind of funny if you think about it. It wasn't until Satsuki signed everyone up for Honnoji when the class was complete. Actually the class was still incomplete since they never met Ryota but instead met his impostor roommate.
'I hope Hajime can focus. I'm sad that Chiaki left us but she had a point. Just a point that I couldn't agree with.' Kazuichi thought.
Sonia then spoke up, "Kazuichi, Nanami is no longer our friend or ally. Meaning she won't fight with us today." She said.
"Yeah, I know that much. She sided with Satsuki, I mean I get the point but I couldn't see myself following her even without my fear of her." Kazuichi explained, thinking Sonia was questioning his opinion about defecting.
"I understand that, but I think we have to consider one other thing." Sonia replied as she made a very serious facial expression. "Today, we may be fighting our own classmates." she said, surprising Kazuichi.
'Damn! I forgot that!' Kazuichi thought as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
Meanwhile, with Ryuko
Ryuko didn't know if the enhanced One Star students were just lacking in experience or discipline but she had little difficulty. Ryuko wasn't some tactical genius, but she could see that the grunts were still pretty weak. By now, the girl actually expected more difficulty considering how tough Gamagori is and how dedicated he is to pleasing Satsuki with nothing but victory.
"You losers are pathetic!" Ryuko yelled as she easily cuts off the fragments of Senketsu.
Once the grunts were dealt with, Ryuko opened up the guitar case she carried with her. From there, she piled up the fragments of Senketsu and prepared to leave. Only to see more of Gamagori's minions forming a wall with Gamagori standing over them like a giant.
"Not so fast, Matoi!" Gamagori yelled in an attempt to stop Ryuko right now.
"Move over you big boulder. I still have two stops left." Ryuko said as she revved her engine.
"There is no way I'm letting you ruin Lady Satsuki's most important day! Your desire to ruin her dreams will end now!" Gamagori exclaimed.
Ryuko snickered, "You know, if I didn't understand the sociopath that Satsuki is. I would have thought you meant her wedding but there's no sane man, woman or tiger shark that would want to touch her." She said, making Gamagori sound furious.
"Disciplinary Committee! Throw the book at her!" Gamagori ordered before suddenly being hit by a flying engine.
Apparently, due to Nagito's luck, the vehicle he was in had fallen apart. But now it seems that the engine was bouncing all over the place to the point that it knocked out a chunk of the remaining grunts under Gamagori's command.
"I suppose a warranty is no longer necessary." Nagito said as he walked beside Ryuko. "You should go now, Ryuko. Ibuki and I can try to slow down the attack." He said.
"Thanks!" Ryuko said as she speeds off.
Nagito nodded as he looked back at Ibuki, "Is this a big enough audience for you?" he asked his partner.
Ibuki snickered as she suddenly stood on top of a platform, "Not my kind of audience, but the venue will work!" she said as she activates her Two Star Goku Uniform. "Hello Kobe! I hope you're all awake because no one is going to bed tonight!" she announced as she let out a few strums from her electric guitar.
At the last moment, Nagito placed noise cancelling earmuffs on his head and chained himself to the ground. Because he felt the sound waves of Ibuki's guitar pushing him away. As he hanged onto his chain, Nagito witnessed many Honnoji Academy students being sent flying away along with a few innocent bystanders. Nagito shrugged it off as he couldn't do anything to help with the collateral damage.
'This is far too easy. Either Gamagori did not plan for us or Satsuki-san does not deem this to be an appropriate time to use extra resources.' Nagito thought as he could see Ibuki fending everyone off by herself.
In Kyoto
Hinata was burning rubber as he left behind a large tire streak behind him. He could see the massive arena shaped school that was Abekamo Academy. As he came closer towards the entrance, Hinata stood on the seat of his motorcycle and pulled on the switch of his Seki Tekko.
"Life Fiber Synchronize! Kamui: Fenrir!" Hinata shouted as his kamui activated.
At that moment, Hinata jumped into the air and abandoned his motorcycle. Kazuichi was forced to swerve as he almost crashed into the two wheeled vehicle. The pink haired boy grumbled about his friend's recklessness before noticing that Hinata landed on one of the edges of the school.
There, Hinata witnessed Jakuzure releasing some kind of electromagnetic pulse. It looked like Jakuzure was having an easy time now as students from Abekamo Academy were attempting to ambush her forces with feudal era weapons. However, they were quickly sent crashing into their own walls as Jakuzure ordered her marching band to play Pomp and Circumstance on full blast.
"Time to pull the plug on this concert." Fenrir said as Hinata jumped down.
"They don't use electrical devices in orchestra." Hinata corrected, annoying the kamui as a result.
Hinata ignored the earful of insults from Fenrir as he landed. The marching band aimed their instruments at Hinata but he quickly moved past them. He drew his Buster Sword and quickly sliced off the pieces of Senketsu and defeated the vanguard of Jakuzure's army.
"I expected Matoi to be here, but I'll guess I'll deal with you instead." Jakuzure said as she snapped her fingers and summoned more marching band members.
"Hey Jakuzure, since you're the head of the music club or something." Hinata began to say.
"Non-Athletics group, where I admit I deserve a better title." Jakuzure corrected with a stern look.
"Yeah, whatever. I wrote you a song." Hinata said, making everyone on both sides go silent.
"What?" Jakuzure asked.
"It goes something like this." Hinata said as he pulled out an acoustic guitar and played a lovely Spanish style tune. Then he began to sing, "Oh you're a bitch, a bitch, a bitch!" he sang before blowing on a harmonica.
Anyone who knew Hinata would be surprised by how vulgar and silly of a song that was. Because he never came up with it, Fenrir forced him to sing it to distract her. Which it did and it also pissed off the pink haired girl more than she already was.
Jakuzure then pointed her baton at Hinata, "Set to Overture 1812!" she commanded.
Before the marching band could attack Hinata. Kazuichi's van came barreling into the school with the backdoors opening up to release several drones that started shooting nails at the marching band. The few Nudist Beach Operatives that were with them had also come out to combat Jakuzure's army.
"What the?" Jakuzure asked with wide eyes.
"Hajime, go get those fabrics back to Ryuko! Sonia and I can handle this!" Kazuichi yelled as he got out of the van.
Jakuzure snarled as she understood why Hinata was here but she wouldn't let him help Ryuko. Jakuzure used her fingers as a whistle to call for reinforcements in the form of Celestia Ludenberg who came floating down to the center of the battlefield via an umbrella. Surprisingly, a chair and table serving tea had landed next to her.
"And here I thought I wouldn't be participating today. Oh well." Celestia said.
"Your luck has run out, Hinata!" Jakuzure yelled as Hinata looked confused.
"Who the hell is that?" Fenrir asked.
"I think she's that gambler girl." Hinata said, having vague memory of Class 78's talents.
Hinata had to remind himself of an obvious detail. Everyone from Hope's Peak has an absurd amount of skill regardless of what their talent is. Moreso, they have an increased amount of power with a Goku Uniform equipped and even ridiculous abilities like folk dancing are capable of destroying building blocks.
"Two Star Goku Uniform: Risk Reward!" Celestia said in a cheerful tone as her uniform became a mix of a victorian era dress and a card dealer.
At that moment, Hinata suddenly found himself trapped in a large box that contained a chess board. Then Hinata was surrounded by several black and white chess pieces that felt hostile despite looking inanimate.
"I thought you said she was a gambler." Fenrir said, sounding confused.
"I guess sophisticated people don't play the slots." Hinata said before the chess pieces shuffled around in various angles. "I can only imagine how expensive it is to buy into a game." he said before being rapidly barraged by various chess pieces.
As Hinata had a hard time predicting and understanding the movements of Celestia's chess game. The pale girl just enjoyed a cup of tea with Jakuzure by her side they watched Hinata squirming. All the while Jakuzure's remaining forces were taking over the school and overwhelming Kazuichi and the Nudist Beach agents who were trying to fight back.
"You know, I was never the type for chess or games where I have to over think it." Jakuzure said, enjoying Hinata's pain.
"It can be frustrating, but the trick isn't only keeping a clear mind. It's about reading your opponent." Celestia explained as she started analyzing Hinata as he struggled to fight the chess pieces. "He's quite confident in the beginning but now he is trying to find an expressway to exit my trap." she added.
"Good, because he's not going to be reaching Matoi." Jakuzure said, sounding delighted.
That is until Sonia appeared at the top of the box where Hinata was fighting for his life. The Ultimate Princess revealed several machine guns and rockets underneath her dress. The seemingly elegant appearance of Sonia was replaced by the girl blowing up the upper half of the chessboard where she joined Hinata.
"Thank you for the save Sonia." Hinata said gratefully. He then extended his hand, "May I have this dance?" he asked.
"You may." Sonia said as she did a curtsy.
Suddenly, the music of Jakuzure's marching band was silenced as the whole school was filled with the sounds of classical ballroom music. Hinata and Sonia danced together as if they were attending a royal festivity inside of a castle. As they danced, Sonia's guns were revealed during each twist, rotation and even lift. Each time, her guns would open fire on the chess pieces or some grunt working for Jakuzure who came too close.
Celestia actually spit out her tea as she saw the dancers destroy her main weapon. Whereas Jakuzure gripped her tea cup to the point that it shattered as she felt very furious. Kazuichi also looked angry as he saw his best friend dancing with his crush.
"Hey, you can't steal another man's girl!" Kazuichi yelled.
"It's strictly platonic!" Hinata shouted back.
Just before Kazuichi could yell some more, Hinata twirled Sonia quickly enough for her to spin like a top. The whole time she shot at every enemy in the vicinity before reaching Kazuichi. Sonia then grabbed Kazuichi's arms and adjusted him so they can begin dancing.
"And now I will teach you the art of the dance and the battle dance as well." Sonia said.
"Wait what?" Kazuichi asked.
"Training begins now." Sonia said before dragging Kazuichi around.
Celestia and Jakuzure were too shocked to notice Hinata using this as cover for his escape. As Kazuichi struggled to dance properly and even got scolded a few times. He couldn't help but see Hinata's strategy at the last second.
'My best friend is the best wingman.' Kazuichi thought.
"Kazuichi, you must lead the way so I may follow your footing!" Sonia scolded before stepping on his foot.
"OW! Sorry Sonia!" Kazuichi apologized as the two continued to dance and battle.
Luckily Hinata had enough time to find his motorcycle and drive off to Osaka. There he would be able to meet up Ryuko and hopefully restore Senketsu. Then maybe end the Tri-City Schools Raid.
In Osaka
If anyone was having the most difficulty in this raid, it was Sanageyama. He was facing some kid named Kaneo Takarada who essentially controlled to the point he had his own currency. Takarada claims that his currency is worth more than gold itself in this city. Sanageyama doubted this until the citizens of Osaka came out and armed themselves.
Takarada seemed to be the most dangerous among Satsuki's rivals as these citizens were powerful enought o push back Sangeyama's army. Even though they were enhanced with fragments of Senketsu.
"Hurry up and kick this bastard's ass put of my city! That's the only way you'll get any Takarada Bucks! If you want money, then die for it!" Takarada commanded through his television screen.
"What the hell is this?" Sangeyama asked as he struggled to push back Takarada's army.
By the time Sangeyama's forces were severely reduced and exhausted. Takarada finally made his appearance in person where he stood side by side with his people. Of course, he had to pull out his stacks of money.
"I see you ain't tired or dead yet." Takarada said, practically mocking the swordsman. "If you wanna beat me, you're going to have to kill all of these people." he said.
Sanageyama could not see properly but his senses were greatly enhanced since his rematch with Ryuko. He could sense all the fire and destruction that surrounded Osaka and it didn't take technology or special senses to know that the city was worse than anywhere else. So Sangeyama could see how crazy Takarada and his greedy minions are.
"If we keep this up, we'll destroy Osaka!" Sanageyama exclaimed.
Takarada just laughed at his face, "It don't matter, we got the cash to rebuild. It's gonna be a lot of work for the contractors but they won't mind." he said as he tossed his money into the air to motivate the citizens.
However, just as the armageddon was really about to begin. A light shined a woman in white came down like an angel from heaven.
"What is that light?" Takarada asked.
"Lady Satsuki?" Sanageyama asked as he saw Satsuki dropping down from her personal helicopter.
"I see that Osaka has become quite a handful." Satsuki said as she saw Takarada.
"The girl from Honnoji is here?" Takarada asked. "It don't matter, the same deal goes with the Kiryuin bitch! Go earn your money, honeys!" He commanded as the army of citizens attacked Satsuki.
However, the girl was far too strong for a crowd of unorganized street level civilians with a random weapons. It took less than a minute before Satsuki dropped them all an pointed her sword at Takarada's face.
"Where will your money go now?" Satsuki asked, making Takarada lose his bravado now that he's alone.
Elsewhere
Mako was having fun with collecting souvenirs and eating an assortment of food. However, the fun ended once the entire city started to burn and fighting happened at every corner. Making the wrong turn, Mako ran into Hannoji students who had just defeated a group of Naniwa Kinman High School students.
"You! You deserted your post!" one of the students yelled.
"You're getting the death penalty!" another student yelled.
Mako screamed in terror as she was surrounded. Luckily, Mako was saved by the food truck that was driven by Nekomaru. Nekomaru ran over the Hannoji Academy students and Akane came jumping out to finish them off.
"Are you okay Mako?" Akane asked.
"Yeah, thanks to you guys." Mako answered as she looked grateful. "You want something from my extra food bag?" she asked.
Akane started to drool, "Yeah, gimme some takoyaki!" she said before hearing the horn from the truck.
"You can eat inside! Right now, we gotta regroup with Ryuko!" Nekomaru yelled from the window.
"Coming!" Akane yelled as she lifted Mako over her shoulder and into the food truck.
"Holy Taylor Swift, this place is worse than the Tragedy!" Teruteru yelled.
"I guess Satsuki is okay with one city burning if the rest are still intact." Nekomaru said as he struggled to find a clear road to drive through.
"Maybe she'll want to rebuild or something." Akane said as she and Mako started eating.
Unfortunately for them, eating would be difficult not for the sounds of brutal fighting and destruction. Rather for the fact that the road was damaged and many paths were blocked by various debris. This caused a mess in the front seat of the truck.
"Did you really have to eat all of that right now? We're in a battlefield!" Nekomaru exclaimed.
"It's not our fault you're a bad driver!" Akane yelled.
"None of you better be wasting any food!" Teruteru yelled from the kitchen.
Mako just looked back and forth between everyone that spoke, 'I hope Ryuko is okay.' she thought.
With Ryuko
Ryuko had finally entered the city and started making her way towards Naniwa Kinman High School where Sanageyama is. At the same time, Ryuko felt her like her movements were more loose but still as strong.
"Hey Senketsu, do you think I'm having some kind of withdrawal?" Ryuko asked.
"I'm not sure what you mean." Senketsu said, asking for more details.
"I mean, I'm not like some junkie feeling addiction but it's like I feel almost as tough as when I wear you. It's not like I'm hurt or anything, but it feels like I'm still limited." Ryuko explained.
"It's just you Ryuko, there's no side effect that I'm aware of. Even now, I'm just a scarf and cannot grant much power even with the fragments that Hajime saved." Senketsu explained. "After all this time, you have grown stronger. Like myself, you have evolved." He added.
This made Ryuko smile, "I guess that explains it. It only adds to why we're going to beat Satsuki once I put you back together." she said.
Ryuko found herself putting more pressure on her motorcycle as she speeds through Osaka's damaged streets. As she reaches the high school where Sanageyama is, Ryuko watches as another motorcycle lands beside her. She turned her head and saw Hinata has also arrived in Osaka.
"What took you so long?" Ryuko asked with a smirk.
"I was at an orchestra, a chess tournament and a royal ball. I also picked up a souvenir for you." Hinata answered as he gestured to the fragments of Senketsu that he gained from Jakuzure.
"Aw, you're such a sweet little brother." Ryuko said, teasing him.
Hinata sighed as he didn't have time to argue with Ryuko. The two siblings focused their sights on the school as they saw Satsuki had also arrived and Takarada had suddenly combined his body with a scorpion shaped robot.
"I thought only our school was filled with freaks." Ryuko said.
Hinata sighed again, "Sometimes, normal is hard to define and we shouldn't take that aspect for granted." He said.
"You're always talking about that stuff. Why is that?" Ryuko asked.
"…I just wanted to go to a nice school." Hinata answered as they arrived.
"Hold that thought." Ryuko said as they arrived. "Hey Satsuki! You have something that belongs to me you thieving bitch!" she yelled a she jumped off of her motorcycle.
Satsuki turned around in a fraction of a second and slashed her sword in the air. Right at that moment, Ryuko's motorcycle split in half and crashed in opposite directions. Satsuki gazed at Ryuko as she saw her land across from her.
"I see you have recovered. I half expected you to be depressed and alone, like the slacker you are, Matoi." Satsuki said.
"I admit, being a quitter was my most pathetic moment but at least I'm not a perverted thief." Ryuko said as she pointed her scissor blade at Satsuki.
"If you are accusing anyone of being perverted, blame Nui as she is the one who stripped you naked." Satsuki said.
"I'll kick her ass after I'm done with you." Ryuko replied.
Satsuki was sure she could defeat Ryuko easily but she had to deal with Takarada and his scorpion armor. Just as Ryuko was about to attack her, Satsuki jumped away as quickly as possible. As Takarada's scorpion armor launched several missiles into the air that obliterated Sastsuki's forces. Luckily for Ryuko, she had Hinata who quickly grabbed her and moved her to safety.
"Ryuko, before you get mad. Let me give you those souvenirs now along with an extra pick up." Hinata said as he presented all of the remaining fragments. "I thought it would be a good idea to beat up the rest of the mobs." he said as he points towards the pile of Honnoji students.
Ryuko smirked as she took the fragments and combined them with the ones she has. She then watched as Senketsu returned to being only one piece minus the Seki Tekko which Satsuki had. That is until she saw Hinata presenting an extra from the palm of his hand.
"Did that pervert have a spare?" Ryuko asked, referring to Aikuro.
"I doubt it, especially on a teacher's salary." Hinata said before hearing the sound of an explosion and some squishing. "So I used the Ultimate Thief Talent to get you your old one back." he explained.
As Ryuko strapped on her accessory, she saw that Satsuki was visibly annoyed. Either Hinata moved very quickly and quietly or Satsuki didn't respond to Hinata's actions as he didn't have any violent intentions towards her. Although that didn't mean that Satsuki is okay with Hinata replacing her trophy with a wrist watch that was modified to function like a time bomb armed with a lot of bubble gum.
"Consider that as sign of me dropping out." Hinata said as Satsuki shook off the bubble gum stains. "I think you can take it from here." he told his sister before leaving her alone.
Ryuko smirked as she raised her wrist, "Let's go. Life Fiber Synchronize: Kamui Senketsu!" she exclaimed as she transformed.
Having cleaned herself up from a blunder she felt ashamed to be caught in. Satsuki activated her own kamui and engaged Ryuko in combat.
Just as the girls had begun to fight, an aircraft appeared over the sky of the burning city. Hinata had prepared to attack Sanageyama while he tried to direct his focus on Takarada. However, neither the Ultimate Hope or Takarada noticed that the aircraft and that it was about to drop someone. Mere moments before the battle really begun, an individual with a white wooden wardrobe crash landed in front of Hinata.
Using some skills he picked up, Hinata slashed at the at the air and created a large gust of wind to clear up the smoke from crash. Once it was cleared, Hinata spotted Chiaki wearing a wardrobe on her back.
"Chiaki!" Hinata exclaimed in shock.
Chiaki gave an emotionless expression as she lowered her visor to cover her eyes. She then removed the wardrobe from her back and threw it towards Sanageyama who quickly teared it open. Revealing a brand new Goku Uniform just for him.
"I see your girlfriend knows where her loyalties lie." Sanageyama said, taunting Hinata as he puts on the uniform.
Hinata's hands curled into fists as he tried to rush at Sanageyama. Only for Chiaki to intercept him and tackle him to the side where she held onto him.
"Your fight is with me, Hajime." Chiaki said, sounding emotionless.
Hinata flipped himself and held Chiaki against the ground, "This is the 1V1 situation you won't win." he told her.
Chiaki didn't respond as she started the fight with a kick to Hinata's gut.
In Kobe
Just as things seemed to go well with Ibuki's sudden concert. Gamagori was rallying his remaining forces when he saw a plane flying over the city. He recognized it as he saw the REVOCS company logo along with some doors opening behind the aircraft.
"Gamagori, your redemption is finally here." Iiori said from Gamagori's radio.
Just as Ibuki and the forces of Kami-Kobe High School were surrounded them. Sakura Ogami came crashing down in front of Gamagori and caused a shockwave that sent everyone flying away.
"Is Honnoji dropping real bombs on us now?" Kyuji Obayashi asked.
"Oh dear, that's not a bomb but just as bad." Nagito said as he was trapped under some rubble.
Sakura looked around and saw several of Kyuji's football players charging at her. The Ultimate Martial Artist narrowed her eyes as she did a hand stand and quickly kicked her legs in the air. Forcing each football player to crash back into the ground. When she finished, she removed a wooden wardrobe that was tied to her back.
"Here Gamagori, I would have been here sooner but someone needed to deliver this." Sakura said as she tossed the wardrobe at her friend.
Gamagori nodded, "Thank you Ogami! Now I can go all out and punish these delinquents then punish myself for not finishing them off sooner!" he yelled as he ripped open the wardrobe.
"Ibuki, now would be a good time to retreat." Nagito said as he tried to stand up.
"What? The party just started!" Ibuki tried to argue.
"There will be no more parties! Three Star Goku Uniform: Shackle Regalia II!" Gamagori roared as he transformed into an improved version of his Goku Uniform. "I won't even bother to recite the specific section of the rulebook, so I'll give you the abridged version of the rule you've broken, Mioda." He said as he charged at her.
Ibuki quickly raised up her guitar and strummed it a few times before playing a loud solo. The guitar playing generated a powerful sound wave that ripped apart the ground where they stood but it's actually what Gamagori wanted. Ibuki had already forgotten the necessary requirements to activate his Goku Uniform.
"That's right, I'm a bad boy. I'm bad for not putting the other bad boys and girls in their place." Gamagori said as his power activated.
"Ew gross! Just shut up!" Ibuki yelled but Gamagori laughed.
"Scourge Regalia II!" Gamagori yelled before his whips suddenly grabbed Ibuki and Nagito. "I won't waste anymore words on ungrateful delinquents. What I'll do to you know is generous compared to what Lady Satsuki will do when I bring her to you." He said sounding almost sadistic.
"I want my lawyer." Ibuki said before she and Nagito were beaten by the whips.
In Kyoto
At some point, the dancing stopped and Kazuichi was on his hands and knees. He was sweating and panting as the waltzing with Sonia was a bit too intense. Much more than he ever expected and Sonia still looked energized as ever as she kept walking around the battlefield win guns being shot from the bottom of her dress.
"I need to workout. I forget Sonia isn't a typical princess." Kazuichi said.
Once again, Kazuichi is reminded of the absurdity of the country where Sonia is from. It probably helps him with understanding how well Sonia is able to operate her Goku Uniform as it functions like a tank. Still, while Kazuichi felt too exhausted to move, it didn't stop him from fiddling on some devices with his fingers.
"At least things are starting to calm down." Kazuichi said as he ordered a few drones to mow down the remnants of Jakuzure's forces. "I think we would have been better off if Ibuki was here. Orchestra versus Rock and Roll would have been badass too see." He said with a grin.
That's when Kazuichi was picked up by a couple of students from Abekamo Academy who helped him make it back to the van.
"We don't know who you are, but we'll help you back to your car as a sign of gratitude." one of them said.
"Thanks, I appreciate it." Kazuichi said before hearing a loud engine. "What is that?" he asked as he looked up.
In the sky, another airplane could be seen making it's way towards Abekame Academy. Kazuichi had to squint his eyes to get a good luck and all he could see was backdoors opening up and releasing someone.
"More of your allies?" one of the students asked.
"We didn't plan for a plane, that's for sure." Kazuichi answered as the skydiver landed at the center of the academy.
The skydiver revealed themselves to be a very obese version of Kazuichi. The real Kazuichi just screamed in confusion and frustration by the sight of the impostor. At the same time, the impostor removed a wooden wardrobe that was tied to their back and presented it to Jakuzure.
The impostor let out an insane laugh, "Jakuzure, I present you with your new battle armor. I also brought a few fancy gadgets of my own." he said as dozens of drones came flying above the academy.
Jakuzure smirked, "Thanks, you're free to sit back because the show is about to end." she said as she ripped open the wardrobe.
Kazuichi had a bad feeling about the wardrobe and commanded his own drones to attack. Only for the impostor's drones to wipe them out in a quick swoop. It wasn't easy, but the greater numbers had destroyed Kazuichi's gadgets.
"That's not good." Kazuichi said as he felt surrounded.
He could see Sonia started firing at the enemy drones. That is until the impostor threw several grenades around her and let out a spark that disabled her uniform. Just as Sonia realized her predicament, another grenade was tossed at her but it it transformed into a type of rope like restraint.
"Sonia!" Kazuichi yelled as he ran towards her.
"Kazuichi, what is this and why is your twin turning against us?" Sonia asked.
"He's not my twin." Kazuichi said awkwardly as he tried cutting her free.
"Then please do not hold me in contempt if we have to execute him." Sonia said.
"Sure, do whatever you need to do." Kazuichi said as he struggled to rescue the princess. "Damn it, what are these ropes made of?" he asked as his tools broke while trying to cut them.
Then the impostor appeared and hit Kazuichi with a novelty sized wrench, "I maybe the fake, but I'm not the traitor and now I can keep Sonia for myself!" he said.
"Back off! I saw her first!" Kazuichi yelled before covering his mouth.
Luckily for him, Sonia didn't hear that last part as she struggled in her restraints. However, Kazuichi found some difficulty in trying to fight his impostor. While the two students from earlier tried to help, they were suddenly hit by a powerful wave of sound.
"You guys really lack class." Jakuzure said as she revealed herself in a new uniform before activating it. "Three Star Goku Uniform: Symphony Regalia!" she cries out.
At this moment, Kazuichi could only practice one technique that only the Joestar family knew and practiced. He picked up Sonia in his arms and made his way towards the exit as Jakuzure released all of the heavy artillery on them.
"Run away!" Kazuichi yelled as everything behind him had exploded.
Back in Osaka, a while later
Sanageyama had regained Blade Regalia, but this time it was upgraded… again. Despite the demeanor of Satsuki, it's very clear that she is very patient despite how harsh she is when it comes to failure. Because Sanageyama is more than likely going to lose his third Goku Uniform within two weeks as the last one was casually destroyed by Nui.
Uzu Sanageyama is almost as bad at hanging onto a uniform as Anakin Skywalker is at holding onto a lightsaber.
Regardless, Sanageyama was still a serious foe and focused his attack on Takarada who proved to be quite tricky in his scorpion shaped battle suit. While the blind swordsman fought him, Hinata had to deal with Chiaki who managed to drag him out of the area. Leaving Ryuko alone to fight Satsuki again, but at least she had little distractions to worry about this time.
"What happened to your motivation, Matoi?" Satsuki asked as she locked her Bakuzan sword against the Scissor Blade. "Did you forget when you lost control? Did you forget when you entered a rampage? Did you forget when you wallowed in depression?" she asked.
Ryuko gritted her teeth as she pushed Satsuki away, "I never forgot, but even now that I know the truth behind my dad's death. I'm not repeating the same mistakes!" she yelled as she rushed at Satsuki. "I'm fighting for what matters to me! For my friends and my brother!" she yelled.
"Your brother? What are you talking about? Are you making things up? Sentimentality is the reason why you are weak!" Satsuki yelled.
Ryuko smirked, "But that's the funny thing Satsuki. I might be sentimental, but at least I don't make up bullshit excuses to deny the truth!" she said as she was pushed back by Satsuki's last strike.
"And what excuse is that?" Satsuki asked as she dashed towards Ryuko.
Ryuko raised her sword and blocked Satsuki's slash, "That no matter what your dream is. No matter what kind of future you want. No matter what resources or amount of loyal minions. The only thing you care about is yourself!" she yelled as she pushed Satsuki away. "That's why I'm not letting you destroy anything else with Life Fibers!" she yelled as she slashed at Satsuki's torso.
Satsuki grunted in pain as she felt the deep cut against her flesh. However, she wasn't letting Ryuko's beliefs get the best of her.
"How little you know about me is the real truth. This is why you will lose." Satsuki said as she shook off the wound.
"You already destroyed one city because of your pride. So you're going to have to destroy a whole lot more before you can beat me, bitch." Ryuko said before the two locked their swords against each other. "But win or lose, I'm going to make sure your dreams are reduced to nothing!" she yelled.
As the intense fighting continued, Ryuko's battle was about to be interrupted yet again.
"I'm afraid your plans to ruin Lady Satsuki's goals are going to have to be cancelled." Inumuta said from a distance.
Ryuko jumped away from Satsuki as she saw that the rest of Satsuki's Divas arrive. All of them flashing their new white and gold Goku Uniforms and looking proud as well. At the same time, Takarada's machine completely fell apart as Sanageyama had finally destroyed it.
Ryuko realized she was in a bit of a predicament now that she was surrounded. Even if Satsuki refused to let them step into her own fight, those four weren't going to turn around and leave any time soon.
"You are all alone, Matoi. Where are your friends and allies now?" Satsuki asked.
"Satsuki, my point still stands. You only care for yourself but I never said you are alone. After all, a bunch of henchmen with no independence have nowhere else to go." Ryuko said.
"How dare you!" Gamagori yelled.
"Finish her off, Lady Satsuki!" Jakuzure shouted.
At that moment, had it been any lesser person facing Ryuko. They would have felt only fear at every waking moment and only have nightmares of the sound they heard today. That sound is the Flight of the Bumblebee being played by a car horn.
"Where is that coming from?" Jakuzure asked.
"Look out! Truck!" Sanageyama yelled as a truck did come.
Only it wasn't some random truck, but the food truck being driven by Nekomaru. A moment later, Mako came flying out as the truck rammed into Gamagori who was too surprised to stop it right away where he stood. Despite the weird arrival, Mako quickly recovered from her fall and did a strange pose in between Ryuko and Satsuki.
"Mako!?" Ryuko asked, surprised that her best friend arrived.
Hallelujah!
"My senses picked up on everything! I know exactly what's going on!" Mako said before facing Satsuki. "Lady Satsuki, you can't mock Ryuko because she has friendship. I've said it many times before, but friendship doesn't make you weak. It defines who you are! Friendship itself gives you strength! Friendship is the embodiment of strength! It gives Ryuko and everyone from our class the power and motivation to overcome obstacles! At the end of the day, Ryuko is the strongest because she has more friends than you!" she exclaimed.
Mako felt very terrified but stuck true to her word. She didn't want to tell Satsuki that she had no friends out of fear of being killed on the spot. However, Mako never really seemed to grasp high levels of danger like these despite recognize trouble on a smaller scale. Luckily for Mako, Satsuki didn't care about sentimental ideals.
"You are free to believe as you wish, Mankanshoku. Even if your statements are very wrong." Satsuki said.
"I am very right. Right Ryuko?" Mako asked.
"That's right!" Ryuko said before her uniform transformed.
Ryuko hopped over Mako and towards Satsuki as Senketsu extended spikes from his body. Ryuko slashed at Satsuki, expecting her to block the attack and using that to her advantage. As she came closer to Satsuki, Senketsu's spikes started to saw at Junketsu as it did with Gamagori's original Goku Uniform. However, Junketsu looked perfectly fine as Senketsu's spikes shattered upon contact.
"Your new tricks will not be enough to defeat me." Satsuki said before kicking Ryuko away.
Just Satsuki prepared to attack Ryuko, she along with the Divas were surrounded by limousines. All of which had opened their windows and started firing machine guns at the five of them. Satsuki quickly deflected each attack, noticing that the bullets were actually nails.
"A drive by? Is that the most original idea you could present?" Satsuki asked.
"That ain't all of it, Kiryuin. The Kuzuryu Clan is officially cutting ties!" Fuyuhiko said from within one of the limos. "Take my sister's gift as a sign of gratitude for the past year." he added.
At that point, Natsumi revealed herself from the top of one of the limousines and fired a multi-barrel rocket launcher at Satsuki. However, all rockets were blocked by Jakuzure who shielded Satsuki with her own uniform.
"None of you gangster trash are allowed to touch Lady Satsuki!" Jakuzure angrily screamed as she fired her own rockets back at them.
A couple of the limousines were hit directly, but the ones containing Fuyuhiko and Natsumi were fine. Although a bit shaken, the Kuzuryu clan members that sided with Nudist Beach still had some fight in them. That and Fuyuhiko continued to arm his sister with a lot of rockets. It's quite surprising how much strength and accuracy his little sister had.
"I guess you really are the Ultimate Little Sister." Fuyuhiko said.
Natsumi giggled, "Took you long enough to realize that." she said before reloading.
However, Jakuzure didn't want to give the girl any chance, "Like hell I'm going to let you keep shooting at Lady Satsuki!" she yelled as she launched more musical themed rockets at Natsumi.
"Uh, Fuyuhiko are we carrying the Ultimate Shield by any chance?" Natsumi asked nervously as the limousine couldn't outrun the missiles.
"No, but we have the Ultimate Sword, right Pekoyama?" Fuyuhiko asked as his bodyguard jumped on top of the limousine.
"Two Star Goku Uniform: Kenjutsu Master!" Peko exclaimed as she activated her Goku Uniform.
Now properly armed, Peko cut through each missile as if they were made of butter. Each missile would split in half upon contact and avoided hitting the limousine. Peko only missed one missile, but that's because she went with a different strategy. With her great agility, Peko had used a dangerously risky technique to parry the missile and send it right back at Jakuzure.
The Marching Band leader avoided the missile, but accidentally let it hit Sanageyama who then began to chase them.
"Can't you take down one limo!?" Sanageyama angrily asked.
"Oh shut up!" Jakuzure yelled.
Back to the main fight
Ryuko was still having a tough time with Satsuki, but the older girl wasn't having it any easier either. She had to admit that Ryuko has grown and even if she didn't like Ryuko's motivations. Satsuki knew this would be a difficult fight to win but refused to let some delinquent get in the way of her dreams.
"You're not winning this one Satsuki. Just let go of the city. It's bad enough that you're a control freak at school." Ryuko said as she continued to thrust her attacks at Satsuki.
Only for Satsuki to cut Ryuko's hand, causing Ryuko to drop her Scissor Blade. Satsuki used this opportunity to deal with quick blows to Ryuko, making her hit the ground. Ryuko quickly rolled away as Satsuki almost impaled her. Ryuko quickly communicated with Senketsu to create a new strategy, resulting in Ryuko creating a sword from her gloved hand.
Which did nothing whatsoever except hurt Ryuko's hand as it clashed with the Bakuzan sword. A weapon literally made to cut Life Fibers including Kamui.
"You fool, turning your own kamui into a weapon is your last mistake." Satsuki said before Ryuko's blood splattered into her eyes.
"How about criticizing your opponents. You pay attention to their strategy?" Ryuko asked as she smashed her fist onto the top of Satsuki's head.
Satsuki only became more disoriented as Ryuko held her hands together and dealt an upward axe hand punch below Satsuki's chin. Satsuki quickly fought back against the loss of her balance and sight. Only to find Ryuko grabbing her good arm and using the momentum to toss Satsyki onto the ground.
"Relying on barbaric tactics now? I feel ashamed to have expected more." Satsuki said as Ryuko pinned her.
"Well you don't have an amazing little brother who helps you train." Ryuko said, thankful that Hinata helped her with physical combat training.
At that moment, Hinata had arrived, "I said I'm the older brother!" he exclaimed.
"Not a good time to throw a tantrum, bro. Tsk, younger siblings, am I right?" Ryuko asked Satsuki who looked annoyed.
At that moment, Satsuki took advantage of Ryuko's brief distraction to maneuver herself into a better position. However it didn't last long as Ryuko recovered quickly enough to steal Satsuki's sword and aim it at her throat. Satsuki tried to move but only found herself cornered as Hinata had aimed his Buster Sword to the back of Satsuki's throat.
If that wasn't bad enough, Mako appeared with the Scissor Blade and tossed it towards Ryuko who caught it. Further trapping Satsuki in a predicament she can't escape from without injury.
Of course, half of Satsuki's Divas were too distracted with chasing the Kuzuzryu clan and Gamagori was dealing with Akane. Somehow the Ultimate Gymnast managed to latch herself onto Gamagori and tried strangling him with her knees while trying to punch him in the head despite being heavily armored. Inumuta also seemed to have disappeared from the battlefield with no trace of where he went.
"Give up Satsuki, let go of the city." Ryuko said.
"You would throw away a chance to dispose of your enemy?" Satsuki asked while thinking of a way to strike down Ryuko.
"Not at the cost of this city." Ryuko said. 'Her henchmen aren't idiots, but they'll run around like headless chickens if I kill her.' she thought.
"You think my value is that low?" Satsuki asked.
Ryuko replied in silence, but while Gamagori was vocal about Satsuki not throwing away her life and giving up. His loyalty was great, but Gamagori was not in charge of Satsuki's decisions.
"Very well." Satsuki said before speaking loudly. "Students of Honnoji Academy! Lay down your arms! We are retreating for now!" she yelled.
With that, the heavy fighting died down in the distance. Things became a lot more quiet and Ryuko lowered her weapons, allowing Satsuki to walk. At least until Ryuko returned the Bakuzan sword to Satsuki.
"You're returning a weapon to your enemy?" Satsuki asked, looking at Ryuko as if she were a fool.
"The Satsuki Kiryuin that I know doesn't lie and cheat." Ryuko said.
Satsuki admitted that was true, a false surrender is a pathetic tactic. However, Satsuki believed she had already done enough by this point and accepted the retreat. Because moments later, everyone heard several explosions from the underground as Inumuta suddenly appeared.
"For once, you are right. I will be leaving as I have completed my goals." Satsuki said as she looked at Inumuta.
Inumuta nodded, "The hidden Nudist Beach base has been destroyed." He said, surprising Ryuko and Hinata. "Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto are not disarmed." he said before leaving with Satsuki.
"What the hell was that about?" Ryuko asked before Aikuro arrived in the most weird looking machine.
"What are you using?" Ryuko asked.
Aikuro smirked, "My DTR, I'll explain more about it later. It looks nice though, am I right?" he asked.
Hinata's eye twitched at the design, "Your back is going to break with how stiff it's designed. There's so many visible flaws, Kazuichi would have a stroke." he said.
Aikuro scoffed, "Kids today." he said.
"Hey Hajime, what happened to Chiaki?" Ryuko asked.
"I took care of her." Hinata answered.
As Satsuki left on her private helicopter, she looked back at Ryuko and her allies. Promising that their next meeting will be their final one.
A couple of days later
The raid was mostly a success on Satsuki's part. While she didn't have total control of Osaka, it wasn't absolute control that she wanted. Instead, Osaka and the other two cities have been significantly weakened. It's also revealed that Satsuki knew that Aikuro and even Chisa were members of Nudist Beach. Now they were weakened as well as Satsuki somehow learned that they were supplying the other schools with weapons.
Some of which were also DTR's like Aikuro's machine. One of which was the strange scorpion machine that Takarada used against Sanageyama.
"This blows, so even with all of that. Satsuki still sort of won?" Akane asked.
"Kiryuin may not have everyone under her thumb but most of her rivals are gone." Fuyuhiko answered.
"So what do you think we need to do now?" Natsumi asked.
Fuyuhiko shrugged, "I don't know, I don't know everything so I can't call the shots." He said. "Maybe Hinata or Matoi can shed some light on the situation and next step." he said.
"That's if there's a next step, ouch!" Kazuichi spoke up before feeling pain.
"Soda, please hold still. I know it hurts." Mikan said as she was dressing his wounds.
"It's that iodine or whatever it's called that you're using that's causing problems." Kazuichi complained.
Before anyone said anything else, Hinata came into the room without a shirt on. This made Mikan blush while the rest just looked mildly surprised. Sure, they were in the secret hideout of Nudist Beach and everyone was practically naked. Wearing only boots, gloves, sunglasses and tactical equipment like belts and harnesses which only covered up about 15% of their body.
However, everyone was sure that Hinata was up to something if he was walking around like this. And it wasn't to show off his muscles or embrace partial nudity.
"Did you leave your uniform at the dry cleaners or something?" Fuyuhiko asked.
Hinata let out a sigh, "A lot of stuff went on in the room with Aikuro sensei." he said as he covered his face with his palm. "Fenrir, my uniform, and I had a talk. We're going to give each other some space." he said.
"You lost your girlfriend and now you're arguing with your own clothes?" Akane asked, sounding insensitive.
"Akane!" Nekomaru yelled. "This isn't a joke, besides that uniform and Ryuko's uniform are alive and all that." He said.
"Hey, I'm just stating the truth. There's always some guy who has the worst luck." Akane said.
"Perhaps you should calm down with the indirect insults." Nagito suggested.
Then Hinata spoke up, "Enough, I'm just taking in a lot of new information. Even Ryuko needed some space for herself." he said.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it." Mikan said.
Hinata shook his head, "No, I might as well mention it. I trust you all and knowing this early is going to help." He said.
"You can take it slowly if you want. I mean, what could be worse than all of this world domination business?" Kazuichi asked.
"A lot worse, it sounds crazy and you guys can ask Aikuro or Chisa-sensei about this if you want. I was told this by the former." Hinata said before taking a deep breath. "Life Fibers have been dormant until recent years. They've apparently been around since before humans were around." he said.
"Eh? What does that mean?" Akane asked.
"The fabrics that make up Goku Uniforms and kamui, they are the reasons humans evolved. They latched onto us to because we're easier to synch with. This is why no other animals wear clothes." Hinata explained.
Fuyuhiki sweat dropped, "I've seen some old ladies carrying around their dogs and cats in stupid sweaters." he said.
"That's different, Aikuro-sensei said that until 20 years ago, Life Fibers were inactive which is why they're seemingly more rare today and much more unique." Hinata further elaborated.
"So they came, made us strong and just fell asleep for several years until now? What for?" Fuyuhiko asked.
"Yeah, if this is all true, what made them stop if humans and Life Fibers work good together?" Kazuichi asked.
"Because they're actually parasitic creatures. They're meant to control our minds and eventually devour us." Hinata answered.
"That's crazy, you and Ryuko have been wearing those special uniforms. They're more special than the stuff we wear." Kazuichi said.
"And Satsuki-san also has a unique uniform as well." Mikan pointed out.
Hinata sighed, "I know that and Satsuki probably knows that too, but if she doesn't. She probably doesn't care because of that frustrating superiority complex." he said. "Look, from what I understand. Ragyo Kiryuin, Satsuki's mom and the founder of the REVOCS company is somehow in control or intertwined with some Life Fiber called a primordial or something. So there's a good chance that this isn't about Satsuki anymore." he said.
Having used the Ultimate Detective, Hinata started putting some information of his own together. He used Aikuro's explanation along with the information he already knows. However, there was one more important thing regarding himself that he needed to bring up. He really hoped that nobody would turn on him like they did in the simulation when everyone thought Hinata was the traitor for a brief period. This one detail mixed with his own encounter with Ragyo is what created this certainty that Satsuki may not be entirely aware of Ragyo's plan.
If Satsuki did, she probably doesn't know the whole story.
"And what makes you so sure that that Kiryuin Jr. doesn't know everything if she's taking control of everything?" Fuyuhiko asked.
"Yeah Hajime, I get that a rich eccentric person probably doesn't make for a good parent, but what makes you think that Ragyo lady is keeping Satsuki out of the loop?" Kazuichi asked.
"I'll tell you guys once Ryuko shows up." Hinata said just as the door was opened by Mako.
"Hey Hajime, are we having the super secret meeting now or later?" Mako asked as Ryuko appeared behind her.
"Now is a good time." Hinata said.
"Hey are you okay?" Ryuko asked, noticing how serious Hinata looked. "I know Fenrir wanted some space too, but you look more broken up about it." she said.
Hinata sighed again, "Ryuko, just take a seat." he said. "Look, I know not all of you know the details about the Izuru Kamakura experiment. I was basically forced to have every recorded talent and be some kind of messiah." he said.
"Yeah, what bullshit that turned out to be." Fuyuhiko said, remembering that much.
"Hey, this is news to me? What's Izuku Kamabaka?" Mako asked.
"Yeah bro, you hardly talk about that thing. Isn't it when you switch personalities with your dark half or whatever?" Ryuko asked as Hinata never told her much about Izuru.
"Yeah, I don't know what the end goal was but I'm meant to be the Ultimate Hope or whatever." Hinata said, sounding confused on what that even meant.
Satsuki did have a point about Hope vs Despair as it just sounded like needless optimism overcoming struggles. In her mind, it was just two sides finding a reason to battle it out. While Satsuki cannot deny human nature to wage war over anything, that didn't stop her from having an opinion on the reasons for conflict. In the case of Izuru Kamakura, he was just an overpowered human being that only felt apathy and curiosity.
"But I do know this, the experiment failed but Ragyo was a part of it. She tried to modify it in her favor." Hinata explained before grabbing his Buster Sword. He then quickly cut his wrist, "And I found this!" he exclaimed.
"What the hell is that!?" Akane asked.
"Are those threads!?" Nekomaru asked.
"You told me and Chiaki this and I'm still freaking out about this!" Kazuichi admitted.
"What? He told you?" Akane asked.
"Yeah, I was the first one to know about the kamui too. Hajime did it because he was confident in Chiaki and myself." Kazuichi answered.
Hinata nodded, "To be fair, this whole story is insane and now I'm revealing that I'm some kind of hybrid that Ragyo tampered with." He explained.
"Holy crap, this stuff has been going on way before that crazy Enoshima bitch pulled her anarchy stunt!" Fuyuhiko said with wide eyes.
"But that's not the worst part. As you know, Izuru and I are like two minds in one body. I can't always tell what he's up to and vice versa but we share knowledge." Hinata explained before dropping the real bombshell. "With what Izuru was able to relay is… Ragyo is my mother." He said.
"Hold up! That doesn't make any sense!" Kazuichi pointed out.
"He's got a point, I mean… if that true. Satsuki would be your sister and you look nothing like her." Mikan stated.
"That's the thing, according to Aikuro and the information I gathered from Izuru's memories. I was made using Life Fibers and human tissues from Ragyo and the founder of Nudist Beach before he defected from REVOCS." Hinata explained.
Mako literally fell to the floor upon hearing that, "My brain hurts. I can't handle it." she whined.
"Mako!" Ryuko yelled.
"It's not my fault, Hajime said he's made of magic strings and he's related to Satsuki and the founder of Nudist Beach. Which by the way, is your dad according to our pervy teacher." Mako explained. "So now I'm confused, is Hajime your brother like he said a long time ago or is he Satsuki's or… are all three of you siblings!?" she exclaimed.
Now everyone was confused.
"Where is that perverted teacher of ours? He's got some things to confirm." Fuyuhiko asked.
"Yeah, that guy owes us an explanation. Or at least some clarification." Kazuichi said.
Hinata sighed, "I should have expected that much. If you guys want more details, then you can ask him." he said. "I just thought my whole condition might be worth mentioning." he said as he gestured to his wounds closing up.
Everyone in the room had mixed feelings ranged from confusion, frustration and just hopelessness. Luckily there was no despair… but right now is not a good time for jokes. Almost everyone had left to go question Aikuro and get more details and even question him about Hinata's connection to Ragyo. Something which actually surprised Aikuro and actually got him thinking.
Even Tsumugu was confused and started to question what Hinata revealed based on his own analysis. To be fair, even with Izuru's knowledge, Hinata just thought that Ragyo was being crazy and called herself his mother because she experimented on him. Sort of like a metaphor, like Hinata was dead and reborn as Izuru with the experiments done on him. But no, even the alternate personality had to confirm that while Hinata is a test tube baby, it still took a man and woman to create him.
This only led to a confrontation with Tsumugu who already built up a lot of tension with Hinata and Ryuko.
This room became nearly empty afterwards, though some like Natsumi left to find their own space as they didn't want to dig into this further. Leaving only Hinata with Mako and Ryuko who felt like the air had gone thick.
"So, are we gonna talk about the whole Hajime being Satsuki's brother thing or…" Mako trailed off.
"Mako, if you want to leave and get some space. You're free to go." Ryuko said.
Mako looked at her friend in silence. For once, the girl didn't want to be cowardly and run. Mako is still a dimwit but even she was trying to put in the effort to understand the complex situation. Still, Mako couldn't do much and just left her friends alone.
"Okay, I'm uh… you guys can find me later." Mako said as she left.
With the siblings alone, Ryuko was the one to break the silence by helping her brother up.
"You're still my family, you know. Even if you have a crazy bitch for a mom." Ryuko said as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Well, our mom… she's probably my mom too." She said with a sigh.
"You don't know that, maybe Isshin is just a donor or something. He worked for REVOCS, remember?" Hinata asked. "Some mega corporation would obviously have lots of resources, including stealing DNA samples." he said.
Hinata didn't want Ryuko to feel bad or anything negative really. The thought that Ragyo being his mother was already enough and that he's Satsuki's brother is a whole other mess. The last thing Ryuko needed was to be fighting another sibling she is aware of. That and having some crazy conspiracy theory that there are a whole other set of siblings and creatures she's related to.
"Dude, I never met my mom. Dad always pushed me away and never told me about her." Ryuko said.
"Ryuko, you literally have black hair and blue eyes." Hinata pointed out.
Ryuko shrugged, "Maybe she's albino or has recessive genes or whatever they're called." she said. "Besides, you're more human that she is. Even if you're made of string." she joked as she poked his chest.
Hinata gently grabbed his sister's finger, "How are you bouncing back from this? Especially with the news of the Life Fibers?" He asked.
Ryuko shrugged again, "I can cry about it or I can keep fighting for everyone I care about. I really doubt that crying about it will fix anything." she said. "I doubt Fenrir is going to let you cry about it either." she said before hearing a knock at the door.
"That's him, no doubt." Senketsu said.
Hinata went to open the door and found Fenrir standing on his own. The two exchanged looks and stayed silent before Fenrir looked annoyed.
"Okay so I'm from an alien race of parasites. So what? I'm not following the family business." Fenrir said.
"Wait, were you sad or something earlier? You never explained why you and my brother left." Ryuko said.
Fenrir grew a tick mark on his head, "Hey all of that crap with the Primordial Life Fiber was a lot. It just me thinking." He said.
"About how much you and Hajime matter to each other?" Senketsu teased.
"Shut up, Senketsu!" Fenrir yelled. "I'm not even friends with this idiot. It's a mutual partnership and now that we're done whining. We have two crazy bitches to kill." He said.
"That's the spirit, I knew you of all people would bounce back around!" Senketsu said making Fenrir growl.
"I hate you." Fenrir told the other kamui before latching himself to Hinata. "Also I got thinking, is that Satsuki girl your sister since you share the same mom?" He asked Hinata.
"We already went over that. I have a bad mom, a bad sister but another sister who is a badass." Hinata said as Ryuko snickered.
"Wrong, you have a badass older sister!" Ryuko said before playfully punching her brother. "Anyways, lets go unwind before the next big fight. Let that perverted teacher deal with everyone else's questions." she said.
"Then he should have had everyone listen to the lecture." Hinata said.
"Also, there's a thing I wanted to talk to you about earlier." Ryuko said as her tone sounded more serious. "What did you mean when you took care of Chiaki?" she asked.
At The Kiryuin Household
With her side unaware of the story of the Primordial Life Fiber, Chiaki was left waiting for Satsuki's next orders. While Satsuki spoke with her mother in private at their estate. The Ultimate Gamer was surprised to suddenly see Satsuki return so quickly.
"Oh, Lady Satsuki, did you finish your meeting so soon?" Chiaki asked.
Satsuki looked at Chiaki with her ever present serious stare, "Come with me, Nanami." She said.
Chiaki nodded and followed Satsuki down a corridor. As she followed the Kiryuin heiress, Chiaki couldn't help but feel anxious inside of the manner. Such a fancy home is intense in appearance alone, but it's more threatening with the type of people that the Kiryuin mother and daughter are. All Chiaki could do was be silent and listen to her master.
Until Satsuki stopped in place, "We are here." she said.
Chiaki looked around in confusion, "Are we meeting someone here?" she asked as they were still in a corridor.
"Chiaki Nanami, you truly are loyal and that should be rewarded." Satsuki said as she slowly turned around. "It is unfortunate that no matter the cause. It always betrays you." she said.
"What do you mean…?" Chiaki tried to ask before feeling a sharp pain.
Satsuki was always fast and even with her Goku Uniform, Chiaki found it difficult to keep up with Satsuki's movements. Otherwise she would have noticed the surprise stab to the gut. Chiaki looked down and saw her uniform was pierced by a sword and dug into her gut. Chiaki coughed up blood as she looked at Satsuki with wide eyes before watching her appearance fall apart and be replaced with the face of Mukuro Ikusaba.
"What?" Chiaki asked, almost gasping.
Mukuro ripped out her sword and grabbed Chiaki by the shoulder. Chiaki slumped down as her body was paralyzed by pain before being dragged into a room. Chiaki was then tossed into the center of the room where her limbs were tied up by Life Fibers.
Before Chiaki could question anything, she was met by the familiar face of Junko Enoshima.
"Aw Mukuro, I can finally add this to the small list of tasks you are actually good at." Junko said as Mukuro blushed at the praise.
"I wouldn't say that, I felt too eager. I could do so much better. I'm nowhere as good as you and I never will be." Mukuro said.
Junko grinned as she grabbed Mukuro by the chin, "Now transform into Satsuki again and repeat that last sentence." she ordered.
Almost like magic, Mukuro suddenly looked like Satsuki, "I'm nowhere near as good as you and I never will be." she said, sounding exactly like Satsuki.
Junko grinned before punching "Satsuki" across the room, "You're damn right!" she said. She then walked up to "Satsuki" and started squeezing her face, "You're so pathetic, you make my sister Mukuro look like a living miracle." she said.
Mukuro felt confused, "But Junko, I think… OOF!" she yelled as Junko hit her again.
Among her abilities that supports her talent as the Ultimate Soldier. Mukuro learned to disguise herself and while she can't reach the levels of the Ultimate Impostor. Mukuro can't be instantly recognized and she did get help from Nui who thought it would be funny to see Mukuro turn into Satsuki. Deep down Nui also thought Satsuki should be humbled and enjoyed it when Junko would look like she's beating up Satsuki.
Really, it was a useful form of stress therapy for Junko. Mukuro is already a masochist that lets Junko beat her so it was nothing new.
As this beating happened, Chiaki was losing a lot of blood and having a hard time staying awake. Junko noticed this and let out a groan.
"Crap, I almost forgot about her. Mukuro, get the stitches!" Junko ordered.
Mukuro reverted back to her true form and began to sew up the wound she made. Chiaki let out another pain filled cry as Mukuro sealed her wound with little care. When that was done, Junko gripped Chiaki by the cheeks.
"Hi uh… Owari was it?" Junko asked, forgetting Chiaki's name.
"Nanami." Mukuro corrected.
Junko then shoved her sister aside, "Yeah, whatever. Anyways, you've been a bad girl Nanami. You've been dealing secrets with the enemy." she said before playing a video on the screen.
The video was shown from a camera with lots of shaking but good resolution. The feed showed Chiaki and Hinata battling for moments after they left Ryuko and their classmates to fight Satsuki and the Divas. The video then showed the two stopping with Chiaki whispering into Hinata's ear, making them stop. The two then seemed to talk for a while, prompting Junko to speed up the video.
"Boring! Fast forward!" Junko said before pausing at the right spot.
The end of the feed showed Chiaki quickly giving Hinata a data drive and trying to run away. Only for Hinata to pull her back and give her some kind of accessory before pulling her close to his chest.
"Ew, gross. Were you two planning on kissing while you were at it?" Junko asked. "Whatever, I'm afraid Satsuki would get pissed when she sees this." she said.
Chiaki looked terrified and was about to speak when a bunch of Life Fibers were suddenly wrapped around her mouth, muffling her voice.
"But I digress, I'm not working for that spoiled rich girl. I work for Ragyo who is a real mastermind." Junko said, surprising Chiaki. "I know, shocking right? Satsuki has all these plans and doesn't know her own mom is onto her. She has the decency to make fun of me and her mom is going to destroy all her plans tomorrow during her assembly or whatever she calls it." she explained.
Chiaki mumbled something behind the gag made of Life Fibers.
"I know, but it's like Mukuro said. You're not winning no matter who's side you're on." Junko said as Chiaki started to panic. "Anyways, since it's better to be safe than sorry. We're gonna see what else Satsuki is hiding from us. We don't want our goddess to be inconvenienced, right Mukuro?" she asked.
"Right!" Mukuro said before hearing a knock at the door.
Mukuro opened the door and in came Nui who was dressed in green surgeon scrubs, "Hi, are we ready to dig into her brain?" Nui asked.
"Yes we are, just waiting for our doctor." Junko answered as Monokuma suddenly appeared.
"Dr. Monokuma MD, DDS, XYZ and all the other letters is here." Monokuma said, wearing a doctor's outfit. "What seems to be the problem?" he asked.
"Just a standard brain surgery, doctor." Nui answered before revealing a box of Life Fibers.
Chiaki looked terrified as she attempted to break free of her restraints with no result. She used all her strength as she watched Monokuma grabbing a scalpel.
"Now don't be scared. This won't hurt a bit." Monokuma said before drawing around Chiaki's forehead. "It's going to hurt a whole lot!" He yelled.
