Ben woke up to the sounds of the door opening. Being in the Navy and mostly the Navy Seals had made him wake up easily to sounds. It had saved his life more than he wished to say. Ben went to sit up on the bed as he ruffled his head. Then he got a hug from Sam and smirked. Sam always seemed the more hugging kind than Dean was. Sam sat down on the bed across from the one Ben was on. Dean had set down on the chair as Sam started to hand him some papers. He had learned with Nick that it was best to get right to work when it came to hunting and have fun after.
Sam had given him the papers that were stapled the first set of papers stapled was the first murder. Then the second and the third. He started to read about the woman that had been murdered. It stated they were the third owner of the house. He listened to Sam as he read the first murder. "I am having a little issue about finding who the first family was that moved in after it was built. That is strange because most towns like this have records mostly with a house that was built in the sixties." Ben listened as he set down the first stapled papers.
The second one had more details as he looked at how the woman was murdered. It was to look like a suicide. The husband and children had been gone. They had gone camping the woman had to stay home because she had worked. She had been found in the bathroom. The tub had been full of water. The woman's wrists were both slit. Though her hands were bruised from what looked like she was banging on the door. She had died there by the door. The door had marks of blood where she was pounding.
Then the oddest thing was they had found razors and such that most bathrooms would have. They never found what slit the woman's wrist. There was nothing there that had shown proof of slitting the woman's wrist. Then in the article, it was said that was how the first woman had been found in 1965. This second woman had been killed in 1983. Ben spoke up after reading about the third murder that was a mirror of the first two. She had been murdered just a week ago. Ben spoke up. "Well, we can see that this ghost or whatever isn't killing over ten years or on the same day either. Or is it killing every woman that lives in that house? So there must be something about the woman or something she did that is similar to the other two."
Sam nodded and leaned back. "I think they either done something wrong in their past or recent. That or they were orphans or something like that. I think our next step is to find out about these women's families. Maybe also try to learn about their past or if they had any secrets." Ben nodded as he was looking over the last woman's info about her death. Dean spoke up as he looked at them. "There are three of us so we can probably work together or one of us can go look for clues elsewhere." Sam nodded as he looked at Dean. "There a bar that she frequented so I was thinking tomorrow night you can maybe ask around there?" Ben listened to them talk as he took a few more papers Sam had handed him.
Dean smirked as he looked at his brother. "Oh, you know that works for me." Sam rolled his eyes as Ben looked at his brothers laughing to himself. They were true brothers and you can see it with how they act around each other. Ben thought about it and spoke. "Let me talk to his parents they live about an hour and a half away. Her father was a Navy Seal so I think maybe I can talk to the parents easier." Sam nodded as he thought about it. "I agree with that. I think during the day I and Dean will find her friends while you travel to talk to the parents."
He watched Dean stand up. Dean spoke up. "I think we go have dinner and then we all go to the two bars in town. There is one that seems to be in the town that has the roughest crowd. I mean there is a chance she went there as well. I think I will take that one with Ben and Sam you take the other bar. I think we should cover both just in case. " Sam nodded. "Good idea, I think you may be right. There does seem to be some divides of the Rich, blue-collar family then there seems to be the side of the town of the ones that don't have that much. I have heard there are some drug issues."
He looked at them and listened. They knew what they were doing. He had slowly been learning with Nick. Nick said there were different ways to deal with things. Different hunters and different styles. Nick said that some take it as a detective and that's the best way because there are times you really need to investigate the supernatural events happening where you are hunting. He spoke up. "Let me get a quick shower so I should be ready to head out in say twenty min." Dean nodded. "Go ahead, I think all grab one too." He headed to his own room to get his shower before they headed out to dinner and then the bar.
