Writer's notes
Welcome to the first story of The Multiverse Guardians. This may be the first dark tone story I made. The prologue takes place before their adventure in this universe, before the Calamity trio's trip to Amphibia, before Luz lost her dad and visited Boiling Isle, Before Molly settled in Brighton, before Marco met Star and before the pine twins visited Mystery Shack, etc. This story, after the prologue, is technically a sequel to the shows, as it took place ten years after the series ended, except for the ghost and Molly McGee as it will take place after season one ended, but some characters from season 2 will appear.
This is considered a multiverse crossover, but they all lived together in this universe's earth where they were merged. This also showcases the five main characters, (six including the twins) that they were friends/classmates in this universe's prologue before the encounter.
The story structure for this is heavily inspired by a three story structure, similar to The Lord of the rings and Amphibia, divided in three acts with this story acts as act 1, while still workshopping the rest of the story.
This first part of the story is also inspired by my personal experience, with some elements that were inspired by a few media I mainly watched, such as Transformers Rise of the Beasts, The Prince of Egypt, Kung Fu Panda 2, Lightyear, Scooby-doo on Zombie Island, A Bug's life, The Batman, Jim Carrey's How the Grinch stole Christmas, Etc. as an homage. And the themes as well, such as secrets, mass shooting/violence and united/division.

Act 1 (chapter 1): The travel goes the same directions.
Part 1: Quick visit before departing.
"Location: Gravefield, Connecticut, Year: 2024, 10 years after boiling isle's liberation from Belos and the collector, and 17 years after the prologue.
In a small house, just in front of the forest, a woman was stepping out of her door in her white shirt with purple stripes, wearing a dark green jacket and a beanie with a "Bi" pin on her right side. He is also carrying her brown bag, with papers for artwork and her memorial candle and her flowers along with three luggage. Her name was Luz Noceda. She was heading towards to her car when she heard her name called out.
"Hey, Luz," said a voice, catching Luz's attention.
She turned to another woman who had her hair purple, and wore a light violet overall. She's also got out of the house to join in with Luz with her hand bag as well. They were going out of town for their state visit, which is California.
"Hey, Amity," Luz said, as she was getting her bag inside of her car, "are you sure you're coming with me? It's just-"
"Luz, I understand today's the day," Amity said, "but I'm gonna be there with you for your payment."
"It was still sweet you're doing this with me," Luz said, "but this is something I have to pay my respect to alone."
"I'm sure of it, Luz," said Amity confidently, "And I can't let my girlfriend go alone to visit her lost ones." Luz smiled as she heard Amity was serious.
"Thanks Amity," said Luz before she leaned in towards her girlfriends and kissed her in the lips, hugged her as well, Amity returned the kiss and the hug. They then separate to get inside of Luz Car, which was a black Toyota van from 2016. They then went to the road towards the town of Gravefield, which was once a town whose history hates witches, was now full of a mixture of witches and humans merged after Luz saved their worlds.
The witches, like Willow and Gus along with King and Hunter, encouraged their new friends of their ways with magic, using paper glyphs of fire, plant, light, abomination, illusions, healing, potion, etc. while humans teaches the witches, like Eda and The Collector, of their history and life in general, which interests them, such as democracy, diversity, human rights, educations, politics, etc.
The children and little witches played together with their games, playing with their toys for sandbox, others played through the playground with the game of tag as well.
They drove up where the cemetery was located. They then stepped out of their car, brought out the flowers, memorial candles and started to walk towards the cemetery. It was a two minutes walk until they reached the gravestone that reads,
'Here lies Manny Noceda,
A great soul, A brave man,
A wonderful husband And a loving-father.
3/14/1970 - 9/9/2007'
Luz and Amity begin to place their stuff in front of the grave before they kneeled down. Luz knew what she was gonna say, yet she was hesitant to speak. Amity then comforts her by giving her a nod, to calm her down. "Speak from your heart," Amity said in a sober tone, which caused Luz to form a smile on her face before she began to talk to the grave.
"Hola papi, it's me, Luz," Luz said as if she was talking to him spiritually, "I know it's been years since I last saw you. I just thought of coming here to pay my respect to you. Everyday I always miss you since you left us. Everything was wonderful for the last three years, humans and witches came together as one. I know you would've been happy with me, having more friends. I always remember the times we spent together when I was a kid with you and mom. I love when we act like you were the monster and I was a hero, trying to rescue my mother as my princess. They were the best times we had." The tears from her eyes begin to slowly come down to her cheeks as she had flashbacks to her childhood. "I just wish that there was a way to heal you, papi. We would've asked god to cure you faster so we play together and teach me about life." he tears then begins to speed up to middle as the water comes down as she tries to hold it back. "I just wish that…" She began to sob uncontrollably. Amity comforts her with a hug to calm her down emotionally.
Luz cried for a moment as she recalled the times she spent with her father up until his death. She began to slowly calm herself down as she wiped her eyes. She took a breath before she continued to speak.
"Sorry, papi," Luz said, "I know there weren't any options back then, but I'm happy that you're no longer in pain. And I decided to give you flowers to honor you, along with a few folks to share with." Luz then placed her glyphs to the ground and tapped it, activating the plant magic; almost a pedal-like purple plant grew from the center of the grave. Luz looked at the flower and smiled, because it was her father's favorite color. She then continued to speak.
"Despite you being gone physically," Luz said, "I feel like I can sense your presence spiritually as if you were guiding me to a better life and well i'm glad you did." he stared at Amity as she was happy to have someone like Amity to be part of her life. He continued to speak.
"I like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Amity Blight," Luz said, surprising Amity as she never thought she could talk to him spiritually. Amity was nervous to be talking to him despite everything Luz told her about Manny. Amity told a deep breath before she speaks
"Hello, Mr. Noceda," said Amity, "I'm Amity. Luz told me how you were the most caring father to Luz, and I'm happy that Luz existed because of you. She helped me view the world with her, and I became a better person than I was before. Even though we weren't friends at first, she always managed to help others. She eventually warmed me up that I fell in love with her despite her being funny, kind and sometimes a trouble-maker. So I thank you sir for having a beautiful daughter. I promised to watch over her to go through these tough times" Luz was amazed by what Amity said, blushed. Amity then looked at her girlfriend with a smile. Luz turns to her father to speak before she departs.
"Well, that's my girlfriend," Luz said, "Well, I have to go on our next trip, but I know you're up there watching me and everyone around me. I just wish to find another solution. Adios, Papi." She gets up and kisses the grave with Amity following.
The couple then went back to the car where Luz began to ignite her engine. She took a breath before she talked to Amity.
"I'm surprised you had that in you the whole time," Luz said, "and I'm glad you came with me."
"Well," Amity said, "I just want to help you through your grief, even to honor your father's life. I know me and my dad were getting along." Amity noticed that Luz's face was sorrow and decided to add a little statement, "but it hurts me to see you going through these years without a father to help you," Amity continued, "guide you and teach you about the world you're living in, but I want to help you. I promise nothing will harm you and you once helped me from being like my mom in reputation. Now, it's my turn to save you from their grief you are facing. I want to help the same woman who once saved us from both a lost child and a monster." Luz was touched by her statement that she was happy to hear those words made her hug Amity tight, feeling happy to have someone by her side.
"Thank you, sweet potato," Luz said as she still hugged Amity, who returned the hug and they still hugged for a moment or two. They eventually released themselves. They begin to go on the freeway.
10 minutes later.
They were on their way to the airport for their trip. They placed their car in the parking lot and left it here during their trip. They got inside of the airport, checked out their luggage loaded it onto their flight. They were on their way to the gate, passing the security stand, and waiting to be boarded. Amity noticed Luz's frown face.
"Hey," said Amity, concerned, "are you okay?" Luz quickly changed her face from a frown to a happy smile, like an anime.
"I am," Luz lied through her teeth, "just feeling okay that we get to-"
"Luz," Amity interjected, "I can tell you are not." Luz then knew she can't keep hiding the secret from Amity.
"I'm sorry," Luz apologized, "It's just I haven't been to California for a long time since I used to live there before we settled here at Gravefield." Luz recalled her times there before the incident occurred. She was feeling downer because her father was injured and was ordered by the chief to move to another state due to the figure's threat. She felt sad, seeing her classmates/friends she made were gone separate ways. She returned back to Reality when Amity placed her hand on Luz.
"Look, I may not know what happened back then," Amity said, "but I'll be there for you even if it may lead you to danger or any way. Don't forget about it" She held Luz's hand tightly as Luz was sighted that she held her hand tight with Amity's.
"Thanks sweet potato," Luz said feeling proud, "and I'll always have your back." They both stared at each other before they looked the other way, blushed. They then heard the announcer come from the speaker.
"Attention all passengers," the announcer said, "flight 113 from Gravefield, Connecticut to Fresno, California. Now boarding on gate A." Luz and Amity looked at each other, feeling conference for Luz now.
"Well," Luz said, "let's see what lies ahead of us." They both get up from their seats and grabbed their bags with them. They head to gate A. They got aboard on the plane until the gate was closed and the plane began to launch.
Inside the plane, Amity felt scared since she had never been to fly through the plane before. They have been traveling through the road by car. She was inhaling in and out until she was calmed down by Luz. Then, the plane was moving with Amity feeling a little scared, yet she had her hand held out by Luz. The plane then begins to fly up to the sky.

Originally, I was gonna post all parts as my first chapter, yet it was odd for my publishing situation here, so I decided to post each parts as chapters, like this. In this chapter,
For the witches visiting earth, I figured since The Collector made a door to access from Earth to Boiling Isle, I thought why not some of the residence could come by. Like a tourism, or perhaps moved there. Thought it would be fun to see the witches visiting Earth for once since they were fascinating with earth stuff from Luz, Gus and Eda.
Also, Luz's secret about California may come back to haunt her. it may sound interesting.
