Hello guys! I decided that Oliver needed a chapter. Hopefully there is more emotion. Please R&R! Also, Mikey's brothers are going to have some emotional issues for the next few chapters, so enjoy that.

TMNT

Oliver always knew that he wasn't made for things like 'tough friendship', but it wasn't until he felt the weird sensation in his chest that he started to second guess his theories.

That relating to his concern for his best friend.

Oliver wasn't an idiot; he knew what was going on. And no amount of pretending could ever steer him clear of his assumptions. But his patience was almost up. Frankly, Mikey didn't eat lunch, and that pissed him off greatly.

His best friend was starving himself

And what was he doing? Eating Mikeys food. But he couldn't just tell Mikey that he knew everything, that would only add more problems.

So, what could he do? Watching his friend starve himself any longer was out of the question. Same with giving up his own food. That would mean that he didn't eat.

So maybe going and talking to Mikey in private was probably the best option. And that's what he decided to do.

Well…after he got some sleep.

TMNT

Beep...beep…beep

Oliver groaned as he turned over. Today was the day. The day that his best friend could either hate him or love him for bringing up very concerning facts.

But it had to happen

"Oliver! Come down for breakfast!" His mother called loudly from downstairs. The young teen only groaned and pushed himself up. His back ached from all the soreness aggravating his body at the moment. But he pushed past it with a large sigh.

Sitting up, Oliver grabbed his slippers and stuck them on his cold feet. He grabbed his phone and started to head down the stairs. But paused when he saw that Mikey hadn't texted him at least once in the past 24 hours.

Mikey always texted at least every few hours that passed by.

'Maybe there's a valid reason', Oliver tried to tell himself. But his gut was telling him something different. Something was wrong, and he knew it. But half of him still kept trying to say that he was over paranoid.

But it wasn't the right time to panic. School was going to start in less than 30 minutes, plus Mikey would be at school, so that meant he could kill two birds with one stone.

Opening his phone, Oliver sent a text to his best friend.

Hey Mikester, see you at school! – O

But when Mikey didn't respond, Oliver (being his paranoid self) decided to send another text to remind his best bud.

Mikey? Are you gonna respond? – O

Hello? – O

Your worrying me dude – O

I gotta go eat breakfast, you better respond by the time I get back. BRB! – O

So maybe it was more than one text, but worry was quickly filling up Olivers system. Mikey had always kept his phone near, and without any delay, Mikey always responded within seconds.

It was weird that his best bud had suddenly gone MIA. Which was rather unsettling.

For some reason, Oliver's appetite just disappeared. Eating was the last thing on his mind. Picking up his pace, Oliver shouted to his mom that he didn't want to eat and ran out the door. Not minding the traffic lining the street, he ran across the street.

Sweat dripped down his brow as he hyperventilated. Worry coursed through his veins. And for a moment, Oliver didn't care if he got hit by a car or injured for that matter. Mikey was the only thing filling his mind.

His best friend always answered his texts, even when his phone was taken away. Mike's phone was practically his baby, and nothing could stop him from texting his friends.

The only time that he wouldn't respond was if something went really wrong.

'Everything is fine, I bet Mikey will be at the front doors waving and smiling' Oliver told himself. But that didn't stop him from running any faster.

Taking a sharp turn right, Oliver ran across the crosswalk and stopped in front of the school. Panting, the young teen looked around but didn't see his best friend anywhere in sight. He grabbed his phone and almost chocked when he saw a text come back.

Hey Oliver, this is Leo. Something happened, and Mikey wouldn't be for a few weeks – M

Oliver was almost scared to ask, but to soothe his impending doom, he felt his fingers brush against his phone.

What happened? – O

He's fine right? – O

Oliver….Mikey's in the hospital - M

Oliver dropped his phone and collapsed unto his knees. Tears immediately begun to form in his eyes and shuddered with each sob. He couldn't quite grasp it; his best friend was in the hospital….his best friend was in the hospital.

Mikey could die

"No No NO!" Oliver yelled; his fists hit the pavement repeatedly.

He didn't care that everyone at school was watching, or that he was embarrassing himself in front of his friends.

His whole world had rocked, his gut had been punched. The dude that was his whole world, and light, was fighting for his life in the hospital.

Or at least thats how much Oliver knew. Mikey could be fine and just in the hospital for a broken bone, or concussion. But something in Olivers gut told him something far worse.

He hadn't realized how much he was crying until big bulky arms wrapped themselves around Oliver. A figure picked him up and started to walk.

"Oliver bud? I'm taking you home," Charlie said.

Oliver didn't give much of an indication that he was listening. He didn't care if Charlie took him home, or if he failed every test that day. He just wanted this nightmare to end.

TMNT

Leo took a deep breath and opened the door. Almost immediately, he wished that he didn't. His poor younger brother was attached to a lot of tubes and machines.

One of those was clearly life support.

If only he had stopped it earlier, he knew that Mikey had been hiding something from him. But he didn't imagine that it was this big.

Placing the box down, Leo walked over to Mikey and stroked his forehead. Which ironically was the only place where a tube hadn't been inserted into his brothers' skin. Leo felt tears pricking his eyes.

"I failed Mikey, big time. Please don't die for my mistake," He sobbed. If Mikey were to die, it would absolutely crush him. Not just him though, it would crush everyone.

But his younger brother only remained in his unconscious state. It just wasn't the same without Mikey laughing and planning absurd pranks. Maybe this was just one big prank….

If only

Mikey wasn't faking, and Leo couldn't stand to see him in his condition. It was literally a life-or-death situation.

"You're the best brother I could have asked for," Leo said softly, still stroking Mikey's forehead. "I understand why Father loved you the most. Your kind-hearted spirit is something that I've been blessed to grow up with….please don't leave me little brother. I need you."

"Please"
