INFORMATION: Anomaly 520 is to be encased in a very wet terrarium. No flammable objects to be kept in enclosure. Feed it crickets and fruit once a day and once at night.
Anomaly 520 aka The Salamander is a lizard capable of bursting into flames whenever threatened or when in a dry environment. Named and possibly responsible for the mythological creature, The Salamander, an elemental entity capable of burning anything it touches in ancient Vacuan and Mistralian legends.
This anomaly, while similar, has some differences. In the myth, the Salamander is constantly on fire, but the anomaly itself can shift from its main body to its flaming body whenever threatened or in a dry environment. When threatened, it bursts into flames, and charges at the thing or beings that threaten it. Whatever it touches will burn to a crisp. If it touches a living thing, they too will burst into flames. Will not stop for anything, even obstacles in its path.
If not threatened, it remains in its inert state and can even tell friend from foe. Determining how intelligent it is, an IQ test was performed where it has the intelligence of a domesticated dog.
