In his chef's outfit and Grand Chef Keyblade, Sora assembled several plates of food on the kitchen table while Eda watched over the turkey in the oven. Large quantities of buttered biscuits, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, chicken casserole, tossed salad, pumpkin pie, mac 'n cheese, and—

?: Sweet potato~!

Rapid footsteps can be heard from above as Luz eventually enters the kitchen.

Luz: Amity?!

Unfortunately for Luz, it was just Sora holding the last plate of freshly cooked sweet potatoes with a smug look.

Sora: *Amity impression* Hiiii~.

Luz scowled in annoyance.

Luz: You're a sick man, Sora.

Sora: *chuckles* Sorry, Luz. Couldn't resist. You did tell Amity the correct time for her and her family to come by, right?

Luz: Oh, yeah. 5:00 PM.

Sora: Good. Eda and I just about finished up the most of the cooking. All that's left then is the turkey. Speaking of, how's the turkey coming, Eda?

Eda: According to that cookbook, this giant bird needs about another hour to cook.

Sora: Great. We're on schedule. All the drinks we have should be good and cold by now. All that's left is setting up the giant table in the living room.

Sora turns to Luz.

Sora: And picking up Ms. Noceda from your world.

Luz gasped with excitement.

Luz: Mom! She is SOOO gonna love your cooking!

Sora turns to Eda.

Sora: Eda, you mind keeping watch over the turkey?

Eda: No prob, Kiddo.

Sora: Hooty, make sure King and Kairi don't get to the food yet!

Hooty suddenly appears while wrapping around King and Kairi tightly together.

Hooty: No problem!

King: Aw, come on!

Kairi: At least ONE bite!

Eda: Down, you two.

Sora: Okay. We have about half an hour before everyone gets here. So, Luz, let's go.

Luz: Yeah.

Eda: Got ya covered.

Eda pulls out her portal key, presses the button, and then summons the portal door, opening it.

Eda: See ya in a few.

Sora and Luz nodded.

Sora: Let's go.

Luz: Yeah.

Sora and Luz walked through the door and into the engulfing light.

[Cut to the abandoned house in the middle of a forest]

Sora and Luz emerged from the front door's light. Luz inhaled, then exhaled.

Luz: Home sweet home.

Sora: Heh...last time we were here, we beat up that conspiracy weirdo at the museum.

Luz: *scowling* I don't wanna think about that chump.

Sora: Hey, that guy's in jail now. So, he won't be bothering anyone anytime soon. Anyway, it's time to see your Mom.

Luz: Right.

The two walk through the pathway and eventually find their way to Luz's house, ending up at the back door. Luz opened the door as the teens entered.

Luz: Mom! We're here!

A woman with tan skin, a medium body frame, very brown eyes, and hair that was short and jagged walked downstairs. She wears a necklace with a lavender gem matching her jacket with a white shirt underneath, khakis, and maroon heels with dark brownish-green sections.

Luz's Mom: *excited* Luz!

Both Luz and her Mom hugged tightly as Sora walked up to them.

Sora: Hi, Camila.

Camila smiles brightly.

Camila: Hi, Sora. I hope things have been going well.

Sora: Of course.

Camila: And I hope Luz hasn't caused any trouble over there for you.

Sora chuckles as Luz becomes flustered.

Luz: Mom!

Camila: Oh, honey, relax. I'm just joking.

Luz: *grumbles* Anyway, ready to go?

Camila: Oh, yes. It'll be so good to meet your friends again and to be able to meet their parents for the first time.

Sora: I'm sure you'll get along. Welp. Time to go.

Camila: Of course. *looks up towards the stairs* Vee! I'm already heading out! You'll be okay on your own, right?

Vee: Sure thing, Camila!

A small, chubby, serpentine basilisk rears her head from upstairs. She has two arms and a tail in place of her legs. Her face is round, with wide eyes and a turned-up nose. She has a catlike mouth in a "W" shape with two small teeth poking out from her bottom jaw, with her lower lip being a dark maroon color. She has pale, swamp-green scales with cream-colored spots on her head, tail, underbelly, and the bottom half of her face. There are tufts of navy-blue hair on her head, back, and ears. Her eyes consist of yellow-gold pupils, black irises, and aqua sclera. She has off-white fins on the sides and tip of her tail, along with a dull peacock-blue piercing on the tip.

Vee: Since it's Thanksgiving, meaning you have a whole week off from work, I can take care of things here.

Camila: Great. Bye for now.

Vee: Bye, Camila. Bye, Luz.

[Pause Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix -Traverse Town- Extended]

Vee and Sora then lock eyes with one another with unamused expressions.

Vee: Sora...

Sora: Vee...

Both Nocedas sweat dropped.

Luz: Oh, come on, guys. Are you two ever gonna bury the hatchet?

Sora/Vee: No.

Vee returned upstairs as Sora immediately turned around and walked away with his hands in his jacket pockets.

Sora: Time to go.

Both Nocedas watch Sora go off for a bit before following him back to the portal door.

Luz: You'd think those two would forgive each other by now.

Camila: I never expected them both to be this stubborn about it.

Luz: Oh well. Anyway, the others are just about to arrive once we get there.

Camila: I can't wait. Your friends sound so interesting, and I'm especially curious about Amity's family.

Luz: Yeeeaaah... They're...interesting...

Sora: Here we go.

The three arrive at the portal door. They walked through and into the engulfing light as soon as they did.

The humans emerge from the light, seeing Eda looking over the oven first.

Sora: Eda, we're back.

Eda: Eh? *turns to the humans* Ahh, you're here. Turkey's just about ready.

Sora: Great! I'll prepare it now.

As Sora got oven mitts and pulled the turkey out of the oven, Eda and Camila immediately locked eyes with one another.

Eda: Hey there, Cammie. Looking good~.

Camila: *playfully scoffs* Thank you, Eda. You as well~. *casual* I hope Luz has been on her best behavior with you.

Luz: *embarrassed* Mom!

Eda: Of course, she's been a dear.

Camila: Ah, how nice.

The two laugh with one another as Luz groans, making Sora chuckle. It was then that they saw the front door open and heard a female's voice.

?: Hello! We're here!

Luz recognized the voice and instantly got excited.

Luz: Amity!

Luz immediately ran into the living room, seeing all the clutter and furniture moved away neatly, providing enough space for the whole dining table. Luz then sees everyone there. Her friends Amity, Willow, and Gus. Eda and Sora walked into the living room and finished assembling the food on the dining table. As they finished, Eda noticed the parents she recognized.

The man behind Gus is his father. He's a man with pointy ears, dark brown skin, and curly black hair that is neatly trimmed on the side. His eyes are grayish-brown. He wears brown square-shaped glasses, a yellow vest with brown stripes on the side, a collar with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath the vest, and dark gray pants.

The two men behind Willow are her fathers.

The first man has light skin, dark greenish-tinted hair, dark blue eyes, and pointy ears. He appears to be wearing rectangular glasses and dressed in a short-sleeved brown shirt, grey apron, black pants, and brown boots.

The second man is seen having brown skin, dark brown hair, purple eyes, and pointy ears. He has a large beard and a bald head beside the tuft of hair towards the front of his head. He wears a short-sleeved gray shirt, an overall green shirt, dark grey pants, and black boots.

Eda greeted the other parents.

Eda: Heeeyyyy! Perry, Gilbert, Harvey! How's it going?

Perry: Long time no see, Eda.

Gilbert: We thank you so much for having us over.

Harvey: I'm really looking forward to what Sora has prepared.

Eda: Oh, trust me. You'll love it.

Camila then walked up to the other parents. Eda notices and then presents her to the guys.

Eda: Ahh, this little lady here is Luz's Mom.

Camila: Hello. I'm Camila.

Perry: Ah, hello.

Gilbert: It is a pleasure to meet you. Your Luz is such a good friend to our Willow.

Harvey: Indeed.

As they were chatting, Luz, briefly noticing Willow's dads and Gus's dad, finally noticed the whole Blight Family. Before anything else, Luz and Amity hugged tightly. As they let go, Luz turned to the rest of the Blights; she saw Edric and Emira, older twin brothers and sisters. Then, she sees Amity's parents.

Amity's mother has a curvaceous build contrasted by the sharp features on her face. She has tufted hair similar to Amity's, but it is a two-toned mint green, lighter on the top and darker on the bottom, a trait she shares with her eldest children, Edric and Emira, with a lighter streak across the top. Unlike the rest of her family, the mother has blue eyes. She wears a violet blouse, a white waistcoat with a triple interlocking orb pattern, navy pants, and gray-heeled boots.

Amity's father is a pale-skinned witch with a disheveled look. He has brushed-back hair with sideburns, hairy arms, and stubble. He has golden eyes and brown hair, like Amity. Alador is dressed in a clean, dark gray lab coat along with gray pants and black boots.

As Luz and the Blight parents looked at one another, Sora walked up to them.

Amity's Mom: Ahh... If it isn't the humans.

Luz/Sora: Hello, Mrs. Blight.

Sora: Glad you could make it.

Mrs. Blight: Yes.

Mr. Blight: We thank you for having us over.

Luz: Of course, you're just gonna love what CHEF Sora has prepared. The finest meal from the Human Realm.

Mrs. Blight: Is that so? *turns to Sora* My children have mentioned your...culinary skills before...with high praise even.

Sora: I'm not one for boasting, but...

Sora brushed under his nose with his left thumb with a small smirk.

Sora: I think your kid's praise will be warranted.

Mrs. Blight: Confident...I respect that.

It was then Eda and Camila walked up.

Eda: Hey, there~!

The adults then locked eyes.

Mrs./Mr. Blight: Edalyn.

Eda: Oldie! Aldie! Glad you could make it!

Mrs. Blight: We're thankful for the invitation.

It was then she noticed Camila.

Mrs. Blight: Oh? I don't believe we've met.

Camila: Hello, I'm Camila. Luz's mother.

Mrs. Blight: Ahh. I'm Odalia. Amity's mother. A pleasure.

The two shook hands. Camila felt a little nervous as she could tell Odalia was a high-class woman.

Mr. Blight: I'm Alador. Amity's father.

The two shook hands. Camila felt a little less nervous as Alador seemed more chill, yet...tired? Introverted? She couldn't exactly tell. But she still kept her usual cheerful demeanor.

Camila: It's good to meet you. Oh! I've heard our daughters have gotten close.

Odalia: Yes. I was...surprised...when I first found out.

Camila: What...do you mean?

Odalia: Oh! Nothing against your daughter. It's just...

Odalia looks around to see the teens chatting together. She then briefly focused on Sora before leaning towards Camila to whisper.

Odalia: *whispering* I won't lie...but when I first heard Amity being in a relationship, I assumed it was that Sora boy.

Camila gasped with excitement.

Camila: You as well?

Little did the adults know; the teens heard that and stiffened.

Camila: When I first Luz was dating someone, I thought it was Sora as well. He was the first of many friends she had introduced me to.

?: Funny you should mention that.

The three turn to see Harvey and Gilbert.

Harvey: Gilb and I initially assumed the same thing when Willow told us she had gone to Grom with Sora.

Gilbert: Mmhm.

Camila: Oh my.~ It would seem that Sora really is quite popular.

Eda: *laughs* Yup! The kid's a real charmer.

Odalia: I must admit...based on his accomplishments at Hexside, I suppose he'd make a fine son-in-law.

The teens stiffened even more. Sora blushed immensely as Amity silently gagged.

Alador: You're serious?

Odalia: Yes.

Camila: Aw, it's nice to know he has your approval. I'd like to say the same. IF she chose Sora.

Sora began to cover his face as Luz blushed immensely.

Harvey: Well, as long as we're open about it—

Willow blushes furiously as Sora turns to the adults.

Sora: Please stop!

They all turn to the teens.

Luz/Willow: This is embarrassing!

Amity shuddered as she had her back turned.

Eda: Aw, come on, kiddos. We're just teasing.

Sora: Again, please stop! Look, your daughters are cool, really they are! But Kairi's the one I wanna maaaarr... *widens eyes*

Everyone looked at Sora with surprise, seeing him stuck in a pause, his face completely beet red.

Kairi: *smirking* ...Where's my ring, then?

Sora immediately teleports to save himself.

Eda: Oh boy. I think we broke the Kiddo. You guys get comfortable on the table while I try to find Sora. Kairi, come with me.

Kairi: Okay.

The two left as everyone sat down at the table.

Teens: Not cool, you guys.

The adults sweat dropped. 10 minutes passed, and Eda and Kairi eventually made their way back to the house with Sora behind him and his hoodie over his head. It turns out they found him 5 minutes ago, but the other 5 minutes were spent trying to calm him down. The adults apologized for putting him through the ordeal earlier, which he accepted. After everything was said and done, Eda and Sora brought out the food and placed it on the table. The guests were in awe of the food. Sora made sure to place the pumpkin pie near Kairi.

Sora: *whispering* I made sure to make the pies like you like 'em.

Kairi: *whispering* Aww, thank you, "pumpkin pie"~.

Sora: *blushes* *whispering* Shhh. Not so loud.

Kairi giggled. Little did they know, Luz managed to hear that and grew a devilish smirk as she leaned towards Amity and whispered something into her ear. Amity silently gasped, then smirked as well.

Luz: *Kairi impression* Aww, Pumpkin pie~.

Sora: Shut it.

Both Luz and Amity giggle as the adulterer, especially in awe of seeing the food that'll be the first time they'll be trying a meal such as this.

Gilbert: Now that's a lot of meat.

Kairi: *thinking* Agreed.

Harvey: All looks quite delicious.

Sora: Meat is great. But let's not forget the buttered biscuits, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, chicken casserole, tossed salad, pumpkin pie, mac 'n cheese, and stuffing.

Everyone else: Ahhhhh.

Sora: And there's plenty more in the kitchen. Once we start clearing out a lot here...

Sora turned to his right, and with both hands, he summoned 2 abominations.

Sora: Abominations. Rise.

Sora summons 2 humanoid abominations, much to Odalia and Alador's amazement.

Sora: These two will bring us more food until then.

Eda: Good thinking, Kiddo. Before we start, Oldie, how would you like to be the first to try my Kiddo's cooking?

Odalia internally groaned at Eda before inspecting the food options available. It was then she noticed a certain colorful vegetable dish.

Odalia: All this does seem rather appealing.

Odalia: If I may ask, what do you call this dish, Sora?

Sora: That would be Ratatouille.

Odalia: Ratatouille?

Sora: Yup. It's a mixed vegetable stew made from tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, onions, and eggplant, with a dash of thyme and basil mixed in.

Odalia: *raised an eyebrow* How interesting.

Odalia took a fork of the Ratatouille and bit into it.

After a couple of chews and swallowing, Odalia went wide-eyed as she suddenly thought back to her younger days. She remembers when she was a kid visiting an elderly woman who looked somewhat similar to her present age. Young Odalia sat at a table with an eager smile as the elderly woman served her a plate of vegetable stew. Young Odalia grabbed a spoon and ate it with much delight. We now find the present Odalia, still maintaining her surprised expression. The others then grew concerned for her.

Amity: Mom?

Alador: Odalia? Are you alright?

Sora: Mrs. Blight?

What surprised the others even more was the sight of Odalia shedding one tear from each eye.

Odalia: *muttering* Nana...

The rest of the Blight family were extremely surprised, seeing as this is the first time they've seen shed tears. Odalia immediately realized and wiped them away.

Odalia: Apologies. This is...truly delicious.

Sora: Well... I'm glad you think so.

Alador and the Blight twins comforted her a bit as Amity went over to Sora.

Amity: *whispering* You really do know how to bring joy to others.

Sora: *whispering* I guess so. Just didn't expect that.

Eda: Well, people. If that's not a sign of endorsement, I don't know what is.

Sora: I hope you all enjoy it as well. I wanna thank you all for coming. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Everyone raised their glasses of drink and cheered before eating. It looked like it was gonna be quite a pleasant and quiet dinner together...

However...

When everyone took a bite of each food item, everyone started scarfing down like wild animals. Kairi was the most enthusiastic as she ate one buttered biscuit whole and finished a turkey leg in two bites. Eda poured tons of gravy on her mashed potatoes and just rapidly devoured it while making slurping noises. Gilbert and Willow enjoyed the tossed salad while Harvey wolfed down some turkey and the stuffing back to back. Although enjoying the mac 'n cheese, Gus did his best not to overeat per his dad's request. Perry did the same thing with cranberry sauce. Alador enjoyed the turkey, mixing it with the turkey casserole. The Blight Twins took large turkey thighs, cut it open halfway, mashed stuffing in between, and ate it as if they were types of sandwiches. Edric almost choked on his food until Emira handed him some water to wash it down, beating his chest to help swallow. Odalia continued to enjoy the Ratatouille, much to her absolute delight. Amity loved it very much as well, especially the turkey. Camila enjoyed every dish Sora made, while Luz got creative by taking several buttered biscuits and sandwiching them with turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. And lastly, Eda and Sora followed Luz's example and did the same thing. After the food started to clear, they were STILL hungry. So, Sora ordered his abominations to bring out the rest of the food to finish off. And to wash it all down, the teens had water, while the adults had wine. After all that, the food was all devoured. And everyone ultimately slept into a coma.
