"Narcissa," Hermione said smiling at her Mother-in-Law, "I'm glad you could come."

They'd just enjoyed a large meal that Gertie had specially crafted for them. As they lingered over their dessert, Hermione looked around the table. Ginny and Narcissa were looking at her curiously as she stood.

"We have some exciting news," Hermione said, trying to ignore Draco's grin. "It will mean we have to move up our timeline by introducing Draco as part of our Triad, but it can't be avoided." By this point, Narcissa was sitting up straighter, looking excited. "We found out yesterday that I'm about two months pregnant."

Narcissa squealed in the most un-Narcissa-like manner that Hermione had ever heard. The older witch jumped up and pulled Hermione into a hug. "I'm so excited! Will my first Grandchild be a Malfoy or a Nott?" Hermione felt a swell of pride at how willing Narcissa was to accept either child as her own.

"A Malfoy this time, Mother," Draco said grinning, "Scorpius Theodore Malfoy."

Theo gaped at him and teared up a bit, "You didn't tell me…"

"We wanted it to be a surprise," Hermione said, smiling at him, "Scorp is your son as much as Draco's or mine."

"Ginny," Hermione said, turning to the redhead, "Will you do the honour of being the Godmother? We don't have a Godfather picked out yet, but you're the only one we'd trust if we were all gone."

Tears were streaming down Ginny's face as she nodded, "I'd be honoured."

Narcissa dragged Hermione and Ginny up the stairs to the nursery, and began making plans for creating an astronomy themed space. Finally, Hermione was able to beg off from the conversation, by reminding Narcissa that her grandchild required sleep.

When she finally collapsed into their large bed, Theo and Draco smirked down at her. "We'll have to set up a Healer appointment for you as soon as possible," Draco said, stroking her stomach. "We should also discuss how we're going to come out as a Triad and keep you un-involved in Tom's plans."

"I'm hoping that we can convince him that our Triadic bond should be 'the worst' kept secret among the Death Eaters so we can play the 'neutral spies,' for Him?" Theo said, looking up from where he was peppering kisses on her stomach.

"That's an intriguing idea. I'll discuss it with Reggie tomorrow," Draco said. "If he agrees, we can go into our meeting and present the idea."

"What if he forces Theo to be Marked?" Hermione said, quietly.

"I'll do it if that's our only option, love," Theo responded, resting his chin on his hands looking up at her.

"I don't want that for you," Draco groaned. "I want you both to stay clean."

Hermione turned to face him, "We'll do whatever we have to to make a better world for Scorpius and anyone else who comes after."

With a quiet sigh, he nodded. That night, Hermione was plagued by dreams about the future, both good and bad. Everytime she woke up, one of her men would pull her in closer, reminding her that she had a place with them.
