Naina approached BC, seeking permission to go out that evening. However, BC swiftly turned down her request. Undeterred, Naina proposed an alternative solution—she offered to pay the academy for better training weapons, citing an incident where a training rifle had broken while in her hands. Initially hesitant, BC considered the potential long-term benefits for the academy in exchange for granting her a single night out. After some deliberation, BC agreed to her proposal but with the condition that the cadets would be supervised. He summoned Captain Rajveer to his office and instructed him to oversee the cadets during their outing. Naina's face lit up with a wide grin as she wrote a check to the academy and handed it to BC.
Meanwhile, Pooja had finished preparing for the evening much earlier in the afternoon, displaying her enthusiasm that amused Naina. Pooja hurried ahead to remind the boys to dress appropriately, leaving Naina behind to get ready herself. Naina opted for a stylish grey wrap-style short dress paired with matching thigh-high boots. As she contemplated which purse to take, her cellphone suddenly began to ring. Glancing at the screen, she noticed an international call. "Hello?" she answered curiously.
"Take the black Gucci interlocking leather crossbody shoulder bag. It will complete your outfit. I love the dress you chose, by the way," exclaimed a girl with an excited, tinkling voice.
"Um... thanks?" Naina responded, feeling quite perplexed by the unexpected call.
"Alice, stop hogging the phone! Give it back!" Naina could hear someone scolding the girl named Alice. Then there were sounds of a struggle before a melodious voice spoke, "Hello, I'm Edward Cullen. Carlisle mentioned that you wanted to talk to me about your singer?"
"EDWARD! From the Cullen clan? Oh, thank you so much for reaching out to me. I'm Naina Campbell," Naina sighed in relief. She had been hoping to speak with Edward, as he had personal experience with his singer.
"No problem, Naina. I've been trying to get in touch with you, but it seems you've been quite busy with your army training, and we've been playing phone tag. Alice just couldn't find the right time, as you've been making impromptu decisions," Edward explained.
"What do you mean?" Naina inquired.
"As you know, some vampires possess special powers... well, our little Pixie happens to be one of them," Edward explained, grinning while Alice tried to swat at him.
"That's so cool," Naina beamed, feeling thrilled to get to know this family.
"Now, tell me what you've been facing," Edward kindly asked, eager to assist Naina with her problem.
Naina proceeded to explain her situation to the Cullen family, sharing why she was in the academy, her mission, and the unique nature of Rajveer's blood. The Cullens, consisting of Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Bella, Alice, and Jasper, listened attentively while Rosalie, Emmett, Jacob, and Renesmee were out hunting. Esme and Bella expressed sympathy for Naina's challenging circumstances, while Jasper was touched and impressed by her willingness to risk exposure to honor her deceased brother.
"Yikes... that sounds like a really complicated situation, Naina. And here I thought my situation was difficult. So, what steps are you taking to prevent yourself from harming your singer?" Edward inquired.
"I try my best not to breathe whenever I catch his scent getting closer. I also attempt to avoid him as much as possible," Naina replied.
Edward let out a soft chuckle. "And how's that approach working for you?" he asked.
Naina sulked. "Every time I do breathe, it feels like my throat is burning," she shared.
"Naina, dear, it's Carlisle. I believe instead of avoiding him, you should try the opposite approach," Carlisle suggested.
"I don't quite understand," Naina admitted.
"Naina, I'm Jasper, Alice's partner. The risk of losing control and snapping will decrease if you gradually become more familiar with his scent. Instead of avoiding him, try spending more time with him," Jasper proposed.
"And how am I supposed to do that? I don't think it would look appropriate if I cling to my male teacher with my head buried in his neck," Naina stated sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
The entire Cullen family burst into laughter. "I'm pretty sure you can detect his scent from miles away. There's no need to bury your nose in his neck," Edward teased playfully.
Naina's eyes widened. "NOOO! I didn't mean it literally!" she whined, realizing her unintended phrasing.
Her whining only made the Cullen family laugh even harder, enjoying the light-hearted moment. "Alright, everyone! Let's not tease the poor girl any further," Esme gently scolded, trying to bring an end to the teasing. "Naina, my dear, I'm Esme. I'm Carlisle's mate and the mother to all these troublemakers," she introduced herself with warmth and kindness.
"Hello, Esme. Thank you," Naina greeted, grateful for the interruption. "Can someone please explain to me what you mean by getting used to his scent?"
"First, try to familiarize yourself with his scent through an item of clothing he has worn. Once you find his scent more bearable, gradually spend more time with him. Get to know him on a personal level. As you connect with him as a person, rather than just prey, the fact that he's your potential meal will become less of an issue," Carlisle explained, offering his guidance.
"He was your brother's best friend, and I believe he can play a significant role in your mission, whether knowingly or unknowingly. You might find his assistance valuable. Do you understand what I'm suggesting?" Jasper added, trying to help Naina grasp the importance of their advice.
Naina listened attentively, realizing the truth in their words. Suddenly, a realization struck her. "So, by trying to avoid him, I've unknowingly been making things more difficult for myself, haven't I?" she deduced.
"Yes, you have," Edward sympathetically confirmed her realization.
"Okay. Thank you all for taking the time to talk to me and share your wisdom. I will start implementing these tips right away," Naina expressed her gratitude and determination.
"Good luck, Naina. Remember, you can always reach out to us for help or advice whenever you need it," Edward offered his support.
"That means a lot. Goodbye, everyone."
"Goodbye, Naina!" the Cullen family bid her farewell before ending the call.
With a renewed sense of purpose, Naina muttered to herself, "Mission 'Get used to Captain Rajveer's smell' is on," before heading to the bathroom to prepare for the evening ahead.

The gathering of boys had gathered at the entrance of KMA, dressed in their finest attire for their special night out. Rajveer approached them with a broad grin, radiating warmth and enthusiasm. "Good evening, cadets! You all look absolutely fantastic tonight!" he greeted them cheerfully, appreciating their efforts in dressing up for the occasion.
"Thank you, sir. I swear on my sister Rajni, you're looking quite dashing yourself. You'll certainly give us a run for our money tonight," Huda commented, smirking.
"I agree with Huda, sir," Yudi chimed in.
"You have certainly spruced up well," Alekh remarked, nonchalantly.
"Huda is right, sir. You're looking very handsome," Ali added, offering a polite smile.
"Thanks, Cadets," Rajveer replied, blushing at the compliment.
"You have a sister? You never mentioned her before," Yudi inquired, curious.
"Oh, Rajni? Well, she's my pet buffalo, like a sister to me," Huda clarified.
"You named your buffalo Rajni?" Yudi and Rajveer asked, a mix of amusement and bewilderment on their faces.
"Yes, I have several buffaloes actually," Huda proudly proclaimed.
"No wonder your mind is always filled with shit," Alekh smirked, provoking Huda.
"What did you say?!" Huda angrily confronted Alekh, but Rajveer quickly intervened, stepping between them.
"Calm down, guys! Let's not spoil the night with petty fights," Rajveer urged them, speaking with a kind tone. "By the way, aren't the girls joining us tonight? I thought they were coming too," he asked Yudi, slightly confused.
"Yes, sir. That's why we're waiting here instead of heading out. You know how girls always take longer," Yudi responded.
"It takes time to compose the perfect message, Yudi," Pooja playfully teased, as she and Naina approached the group.
"Pooja is right. Perfection requires time," Naina added, smirking.
Pooja was dressed in a white one-shoulder top paired with black high-waisted pants and high heels. Her hair was styled in a low ponytail with curled ends. Naina, on the other hand, wore a stylish grey wrap-style short dress, complemented by dark grey thigh-high suede boots and a black Gucci shoulder bag. She left her hair open, flowing gracefully.
"Wow, ladies! You both look absolutely stunning!" Rajveer complimented, genuinely impressed.
"Thank you, sir. Hold on a sec! Sir, what a coincidence! Naina and your wallpapers match!" Pooja exclaimed with excitement.
Naina and Rajveer glanced at themselves and then at each other, surprised to see that they were both wearing grey. "Indeed a coincidence. You're looking great, sir," Naina said with a closed-lip smile, trying to minimize her exposure to his scent.
Edward's advice echoed in her mind. By avoiding Rajveer's scent, she had been making her task more challenging. Tonight, she planned to gradually acclimate herself to his smell, starting with small doses.
"You look amazing too, cadet," Rajveer complimented, smiling warmly. Naina appeared like an otherworldly being in her attire. He couldn't help but wonder why someone as beautiful and well-off as her chose to be a spy. It didn't quite add up in his mind. "Shall we proceed now?" he asked. Everyone nodded in agreement and they made their way outside.
….-….
As the Super Six entered the venue, they were warmly greeted by the manager of Club Rosette, a sophisticated gentleman dressed impeccably in a tailored suit. He guided them past the bustling main floor and escorted them to the VIP section of the club. Ascending a flight of stairs, the pulsating music grew louder, and an air of exclusivity enveloped the atmosphere. Upon reaching the VIP area, the manager motioned toward a spacious lounge adorned with plush couches and tall tables. The interior boasted a tasteful decor featuring sleek designs and a contemporary style. A prominent bar with a mirrored backdrop commanded one wall of the lounge, while the opposite side was adorned with expansive windows, offering a breathtaking view of the dance floor below.
The Super Six stood in amazement, their eyes widened as they absorbed the opulent surroundings. They had never experienced such a luxurious club before, and they were astonished by the VIP treatment they were receiving. Appreciating their awe, the manager smiled and left them to savor the night, assuring them he would check in on them later.
Rajveer couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the opulent display of wealth and extravagance exhibited by Naina's family. Despite being accustomed to wealth through his Godfather's position as the Defense Minister, the level of luxury bestowed upon Naina surpassed his understanding. Her family spared no expense in indulging their daughter with the finest things life had to offer. It seemed as though money held no boundaries for them. This raised questions in Rajveer's mind about whether someone from such a privileged background would even consider pursuing a career as a spy. After all, spies were meant to blend in and avoid drawing attention to themselves. Naina's lavish lifestyle could potentially make her stand out conspicuously, posing challenges for her in carrying out undercover operations.
Spotting the seniors on the ground floor, Yudi gestured for them to join the party upstairs. The festivities commenced with an array of food and drinks. Some of the cadets wasted no time and headed straight to the dance floor, while others chose to unwind and engage in conversations while enjoying their beverages. Alekh and Huda savored their cocktails, while Rajveer and the remaining group opted for refreshing mocktails. As the music played on, Pooja enthusiastically dragged Ali onto the dance floor when a catchy song came on, and they started dancing with fervor.
Amidst the ongoing music, Naina approached Rajveer with a radiant smile. "Sir, this happens to be my favorite song. Would you like to dance with me?" she asked.
Rajveer focused on the melody and recognized Meghan Trainor's "Made You Look." Chuckling, he took her hand and guided her onto the dance floor. They began dancing joyfully, their hands intertwined. In that moment, Naina momentarily forgot about Rajveer's scent and simply relished the experience. She remained cautious, ensuring her strength was under control to prevent any accidental harm to Rajveer.
"I could have my Gucci on
I could wear my Louis Vuitton
But even with nothin' on
Bet I made you look (I made you look)
I'll make you double take soon as I walk away
Call up your chiropractor just in case your neck break
Ooh, tell me what you, what you, what you gon' do, ooh
'Cause I'm 'bout to make a scene, double up that sunscreen
I'm 'bout to turn the heat up, gonna make your glasses steam
Ooh, tell me what you, what you, what you gon' do, ooh"
Enthralled by Naina's captivating presence, Rajveer found himself entranced by her uniquely colored eyes. The name "Naina" seemed perfectly befitting for someone with such enchanting gaze. Her smile had a mesmerizing effect, as if she were a celestial being gracing the earth. As they swayed to the music, the lyrics resonated with their connection, causing Rajveer to chuckle, acknowledging how fitting the song was for their circumstances. Naina had undeniably caught his attention, and he couldn't deny the intense attraction he felt towards her.
"When I do my walk, walk (oh)
I can guarantee your jaw will drop, drop (oh)
'Cause they don't make a lot of what I got, got (ah, ah)
Ladies if you feel me, this your bop, bop (bop-bop-bop)
I could have my Gucci on (Gucci on)
I could wear my Louis Vuitton
But even with nothin' on
Bet I made you look (I made you look)
Yeah, I look good in my Versace dress (take it off)
But I'm hotter when my morning hair's a mess
'Cause even with my hoodie on
Bet I made you look (I made you look)
Mhm-hm-hm"
Naina's smile broadened, taking in the rhythmic pulse of Rajveer's heart. It had become a familiar melody to her, something she could distinguish even from a distance. Catching sight of her radiant smile, Rajveer raised his voice above the music to inquire, "What's making you smile, Cadet?"
"Simply enjoying the music," Naina replied, her voice carrying a hint of amusement.
"This song embodies you perfectly... just thought you should know," he playfully remarked, accompanied by a teasing wink.
Naina erupted into laughter. "I couldn't agree more."
"And once you get a taste (woo), you'll never be the same
This ain't that ordinary, this that 14 karat cake
Ooh, tell me what you, what you, what you gon' do, ooh (what you gon' do, ooh, ooh)
When I do my walk, walk (oh)
I can guarantee your jaw will drop, drop (oh) (I guarantee your jaw will drop, drop)
'Cause they don't make a lot of what I got, got (ah, ah)
Ladies if you feel me, this your bop, bop (bop-bop-bop)
Oh, I could have my Gucci on (Gucci on)
I could wear my Louis Vuitton
But even with nothin' on
Bet I made you look (said, I made you look)
Yeah, I look good in my Versace dress (take it off, baby)
But I'm hotter when my morning hair's a mess
'Cause even with my hoodie on
Bet I made you look (said, I made you look)"
As the last chorus of the song played, Naina enthusiastically sang along, her smile radiating joy. Rajveer couldn't help but sport a wide grin as he observed her infectious enthusiasm. When the song finally concluded, they made their way back to the VIP area. Naina then took turns dancing with Yudi and Ali, relishing the rhythm of the music. Turning to Alekh, she extended her hand and asked him to join her on the dance floor. With huge grins adorning their faces, they danced without a care, fully immersing themselves in the lively beats of Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary".
"Money
Oh
Love is just a history that they may prove
And when you're gone
I'll tell them my religion's you
When Punktious comes to kill the king upon his throne
I'm ready for their stones
I'll dance, dance, dance
With my hands, hands, hands
Above my head, head, head
Like Jesus said
I'm gonna dance, dance, dance
With my hands, hands, hands above my head
Hands together, forgive him before he's dead, because
I won't cry for you
I won't crucify the things you do
I won't cry for you
See, when you're gone, I'll still be Bloody Mary"
Naina recognized the opportune moment to discreetly search Rajveer's room, and she leaned in close to Alekh, ensuring their conversation remained confidential. Urgently, she requested a favor from him, her voice filled with determination.
"Alekh, can I ask you for a favor?" she whispered, her words laced with urgency.
Curious, Alekh nodded, ready to lend a hand. He sensed that there was more to Naina than met the eye, and he was intrigued by her mysterious nature.
"Sure, what do you need?" he inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"I need to step away for about 20 minutes. Can you cover for me?" Naina's tone remained serious, conveying the importance of her request.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, Alekh nodded in agreement. He could sense that Naina carried a secret burden, and he was willing to assist her in any way he could.
With a grateful smile, Naina swiftly disappeared within seconds, leaving Alekh momentarily surprised by her swift exit. He couldn't help but ponder over the enigma that surrounded her, yet he shook off his thoughts and raised his hands, resuming his energetic dancing to divert the attention of the others. True to his word, Alekh covered for Naina, ensuring her absence went unnoticed.

Naina swiftly traversed the distance to KMA, utilizing her top speed to arrive in a mere 4 minutes and 27 seconds. Giggling to herself in exhilaration, she hurried to the side of the faculty building, where Rajveer's room was located. With practiced precision, she skillfully broke into his room through the window, taking care not to leave any obvious signs of forced entry. Aware of the possibility of security cameras, Naina employed a clever tactic to evade detection. Utilizing her supernatural abilities, she vibrated rapidly, causing her features to blur and become indistinct. If anyone were to review the footage captured by Rajveer's security cameras, they would only perceive a blurred figure, unable to discern her true identity. This precaution ensured that her presence remained concealed and her actions went unnoticed by any surveillance systems that Rajveer might have in place.
Naina meticulously combed through every corner of Rajveer's living room, leaving no area unexplored, before proceeding to his bedroom. While rummaging through his closet, she came across a file that contained a series of photographs that immediately caught her attention. The images depicted Rajveer and Naveen together, engrossed in laughter and sharing joyful moments. The sight of these photographs caught Naina by surprise, as she had never known the extent of Rajveer's friendship with her late brother. It was evident from Naveen's letter that he held Rajveer in high regard, considering him his best friend. However, these images offered a tangible glimpse into the bond they shared, leaving Naina with a deep sense of curiosity and a burning desire to uncover more about their relationship. Realizing that she needed to have a personal conversation with Rajveer to gain insight into his friendship with Naveen, Naina made a mental note to broach the subject with him.
Naina stood in Rajveer's room, addressing the empty space as she held the photographs of her beloved brother in her hands. She couldn't help but express her perplexity and curiosity aloud, her voice filled with a mix of emotions. "You cherish my brother's pictures as if he was your own family, rather than mine," she stated, her words laced with a sense of bewilderment. The desire to understand the true depth of Rajveer's connection with Naveen fueled her determination. "Captain Rajveer, I need to know what you genuinely think of my brother. And if revealing my true identity is what it takes to uncover the truth, then so be it."
Her words hung in the air, carrying the weight of a decision she knew could have far-reaching consequences. Naina understood the risks involved in divulging her true self, but the need for clarity and understanding outweighed the potential repercussions. She was prepared to take that leap, to expose her secret in order to unravel the enigma surrounding Rajveer's relationship with her late brother. These photographs had awakened a newfound determination within her to understand the nature of their connection and to potentially enlist Rajveer's assistance in fulfilling her mission. Resolving to approach him directly, Naina carefully returned the file to its original position, ensuring that her presence would remain undetected.
...-...
...-...
Three songs had passed, and Rajveer became aware that Alekh and Naina had not yet rejoined the group in the VIP section. He leaned over the railing, carefully surveying the densely packed dance floor, but he couldn't find them. In an instant, his ingrained military training took over, compelling him to locate them without delay. Rajveer swiftly made his way through the pulsating crowd on the dance floor, his senses on high alert. As his military instincts took over, he meticulously scanned the sea of dancing bodies, searching for any sign of Alekh and Naina. The loud music and ventilation system posed a challenge, but he remained focused and determined to locate them without wasting any time. With each step, Rajveer's eyes darted from one corner of the dance floor to another, his mind calculating possible routes and scenarios. He weaved through the moving mass of people, pushing through the vibrant energy of the club, his determination unwavering. The urgency to find his comrades grew stronger with each passing second, fueling his determination to ensure their safety.
As he maneuvered through the crowd, Rajveer's training helped him maintain a calm and composed demeanor, despite the mounting concern in his heart. He knew the importance of swift action and effective communication in critical situations. With his eyes scanning the crowd, his mind remained focused on locating Alekh and Naina, ready to intervene if needed. Rajveer's instincts guided him through the maze of bodies, his keen awareness honed by years of military training. He moved with purpose, his gaze unwavering, as he navigated the dance floor.
It took him more than ten minutes to track down Alekh in the bustling crowd. "Cadet Alekh, where's Cadet Naina?" he called out, his voice competing with the blaring music.
"She went to the ladies' room," Alekh responded nonchalantly.
"Are you certain?" Rajveer inquired, his tone laced with seriousness.
"That's what she told me," Alekh shrugged in response.
Acknowledging the information, Rajveer made his way toward the ladies' room. As he reached the hallway, he spotted Naina stepping out, elegantly running her fingers through her hair. Coming to a halt at the sight of him, she wore a curious smile and teasingly questioned, "Sir, what brings you outside the washroom?"
"Um... you were gone for quite a while... I couldn't locate you," Rajveer responded, his tone carrying a sense of concern.
With a slight tilt of her head, Naina inquired, "So, if I were to disappear one day... would you come searching for me?"
Rajveer's eyes widened, caught off guard by her playful remark. He stumbled over his words, trying to clarify, "I-I didn't mean it that way, Cadet. I simply meant that... as your superior, it's my duty to ensure your safety."
"Relax, sir. I understand what you meant," she said, giving him a small knowing smile. Her smile told him everything he needed to know. She knew he suspected her, and she was aware of it.
