6. The Expulsion Duel

It was now a week after Jaden's and Syrus' suspension, but only a week left before their tag team expulsion duel. Jaden bought card packs and fixed Syrus' deck, while Syrus was tortue- I mean trained by Celina. To be fair to her, his dueling skills became better than at the start of the year.

Speaking of the only female in Slifer Red, she was on her bed, on the phone with her cousin, Lulu Obsidian. They were talking about Duel Academy, how Lulu's older brother, Shay, was doing, Lulu's job as a vet and more.

But right now they were talking about Lulu's boyfriend, Yuto, "I don't know why you are worried if you tell Shay that you have a boyfriend. I mean Yuto is a nice guy. And you are an adult, so you make the decisions."

"I know that, but Shay has always been overprotective of us. Do you not remember when you had a group project with a kid, Sylvio I believe, and he and uncle scared him so hard that he changed schools?" said Lulu.

Celina groaned, "Of course I do! I had to do the project all by myself that week! And they acted like they didn't do anything wrong!" she exclaimed, "They think I am made out of glass for god's sake!"

Lulu chuckled, "Well, you were extremely emotional that time."

"I was 8 years old!" She swore she heard Yuto laughing in the background, "Wait, you are at Yuto's apartment right now? Does Shay know about this?"

"No, I said I was at a friend's house," Lulu knew Celina was looking weirdly at her phone right now, "What, you wanted me to tell him that I was at his best friend's house? No way!"

"Thank god, you didn't. He would have broken my spinal cords, if you said that." Yuto said to Lulu, "Oh and hello, Celina."

"Hello to you too, Yuto." She greeted, "Look, Yuto, try to tell him that you are dating Lulu, I mean he did accept Yugo after all, so he would also accept you. You are his best friend after all."

"Well yeah, but Yugo is a different breed. No one is even in the same ballpark of him." said Yuto as Lulu got close to her phone, "Yeah that wasn't a fair thing to say. Everyone likes Yugo."

Celina nodded, "Okay, yeah. My bad, shouldn't have compared you to him like that. Just at least try it, he won't kill you or some-" Before she can finish her sentence she felt a table was thrown or flipped, she honestly couldn't tell, in one of the Slifer Red rooms, "Sorry to cut you guys so soon, but I heard an earthquake of some sorts, so see ya later!" Lulu and Yuto couldn't even register anything what she said, the phone line was cut off.

Celina grabbed her jacket and put on her uniform, what she was in her casual clothes, ran down the stairs and opened the door. She saw Syrus, Jaden and Banner sitting on the floor, with a certain cat that Celina wanted to steal from, and Chumley standing with a duel disk in his hands dueling…she doesn't know who he is.

The man looked like Chumley, but the man was more jacked than Arnold Schwarzenegger, wearing a white wife-beater and black jeans, but the man had a nose similar to the Slifer Red Senior.

Chumley had a big koala with boxing gloves with a belt around him, "Pretty fitting for him, honestly." with two…hot sauce bottles around his left and right side? But the man had no cards on his field, but he did have a table.

So what does the man do exactly? He flips the table, destroying all of the cards on Chumley's field, and due to the effect of the hot sauce bottles, he loses all of his life points and loses the duel. Huh.

Chumley dropped to his knees, depressed. Celina wondered on why he was sad on just loosing the duel, until the person that she was torturin- training spoke out, "I can't believe that Chumley lost to his dad!"

Celina widened, "DAD?! That man," she pointed at Mr. Huffington, "is Chumley's father!? He looks like a bodybuilder! Chumley, you never said that he was more built than a tiger!"

Mr. Huffington smirked, "Why bother, honestly? He agreed to the rules that if he loses, he works for my hot sauce company!"

Before Celina could protest, and maybe fight the man, Jaden jumped to his feet, "Oh, you aren't doing squat! I promised Chumley one thing when I see you and I am fulfilling that promise!" Banner raised his eyebrows, while everyone gasped at his promise.

Jaden ran towards the man, and before Mr. Huffington could retaliate, Jaden decked him on the schnoz! Mr. Huffington dropped to his knees and covered his no-nos while every male inside of the room were covering their crotches out of instinct. "If you ever try to get Chumley out of here, I will do that again, but worse! Understood?!" Mr. Huffington nodded.

Celina on the other hand, felt like a mother when her son was performing on the stage, she wiped the tear off her face as she patted him on the back, proud of what he did to the jackass of a father.

Chumley then realized what happened and so did Syrus and Banner. Banner walked towards Chumley and smiled at him, accepting him as his student. Syrus and Jaden cheered, but the former felt a shiver down his spine as he looked at Celina, and she wore a smile that will scare even the devil out of pure fear.

"Come on, Syrus. Let's continue our training." She said as she grabbed the poor bluenette out of the room. Syrus looked around for help, but Mr. Huffington was still on the ground, Jaden and Banner were congratulating Chumley. Syrus knew that this scar the rest of his life.

A week later

Syrus took a deep breath, a big one and he needed it, for he was in a tag team duel, with his friend Jaden, and they needed to win this duel so they wouldn't be expelled. Syrus took numerous deep breaths, but Jaden was calm as an ocean on a calm and relaxing day at his beach house.

Syrus looked at Jaden, "Jaden are you 100 percent sure you wanna have me as your partner? You can change me if you want to, I won't be sad, I promise."

Jaden looked at his duel partner and smiled, "Are ya' kidding, Sy? I won't have any other way! I want to duel with ya, pal! I won't be angry if you make a bad move, I promise buddy!"

That relieved Syrus, a bit, even after Jaden was ruffling his hair, but his worry came full circle after Doctor Crowler announced their names. "And here are our challengers! They are the students that broke the rules, and by that I meant breaking into the abandoned dorm," the students gasped, "they are the Slifer Reds, they are Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale!"

Jaden walked into the Duel Arena, waving to everyone around to see him, on the sides, towards him and even behind him, but Syrus walked into it, like he was afraid to be killed by them by just their glares alone, sheepishly.

In the sidelines

Celina hated this, despite on how she more or less tortured Syrus for two weeks, she still cared about the Slifer Red duo, but what she hated more was how Crowler and the rest of the students wanted them to fail, by the sounds of them booing would suggest. She would have broken the chairs in front of her by just gripping them, but then she heard a familiar voice.

"Do you mind if I sit here, Celina?" she turned around and to see the Ra Yellow brainiac himself, Bastion Misawa. He looked like one of those only ones that didn't want them to fail and seemed like a really nice guy. She shook her head, making it known to him that she didn't mind him sitting beside her. He sat down, "Thank you."

From the corners of Bastion's eyes as soon as he sat down he saw a familiar body, near both of them, "Do you have room for one more?" Both of them turned around to see Alexis, with a worried face, "I want to see the duel with you guys and Jasmine and Mindy have been killing me lately, so do you?" Both of them looked at each other, before nodding at the same time. "Thank you." she said as she sat down.

"So are you two worried for them?" asked Bastion as he glanced at both of them, wondering for their answer.

Alexis sighed, "Of course I am. I am the reason why they are in this mess in the first place."

Celina looked at the Obelisk Blue, "If anyone should be beating themselves over it, it should be me. I was the reason how they even got there in the first place. And I heard that Crowler, of all people, is organizing this event, so you know that this will be tough for both of them."

Bastion saw what she was about to say from Alexis, so he decided to stop their arguing, "Look, I know you two are riled up about all of this, but nothing can stop this. I hate to say this, but fate is on their hands."

The duelists stopped what they wanted to say and realized that they can not change this and have to accept this, but all three of them hated this.

In the stands, Zane was on the rails and saw his little brother and Jaden walking down to the duel arena, Syrus turned around to see him, only for him to turn around towards the dueling arena. Honest appeared on Zane's side, "Is he your little brother, Zane? He looks like a little version of you."

Zane nodded, "Yes, that is my younger brother. They are here for the tag team duel because they broke the rules. What do you want to know?" He looked towards the image of Honest.

"I wanted to know more about someone who is helping to get Master Fujiwara back," Zane understood that, "But, from the looks of it, you don't have a good relationship with your brother, do you? Why is that?"

Zane turned around, not wanting to say anything. Honest knew that was personal, so he didn't want to make him uncomfortable by saying it, so he stayed quiet. An Obelisk Blue from the seats in front of the rails turned to him, but quickly turned around towards the Duel Arena when he got a glare from Zane.

In the direct middle of the Duel Arena, Chancellor Sheppard, Banner and a guy that no one in Duel Academy has seen before. The man had a weird shaped nose, a brown haired bowl cut, had a purple suit, a red shirt inside of the suit and white jeans. Despite him being unknown by most people, if he was sitting near the Chancellor and a homeroom teacher, then he must be important.

Sheppard looked to the man in the suit, and saw that his eyes were twitching with a frown on his face as he looked over to his watch, "Is something wrong, Mamoru?"

The man now known as Mamoru looked at Chancellor, "Yes, there is something wrong. My subordinates were about 5 minutes late for this duel! How can they do this!? I am one of the most profound managers for duelists on the planet and they can be late for an important event such as this!?" Both Sheppard and Banner sweatdropped, he reminded them of a certain homeroom teacher that wants to be called Doctor.

Even Chumley was there for the duel, and that was a shock to most people. Chumley didn't want to see his friends expelled.

In the Duel Arena

Jaden and Syrus arrived on the stage, Jaden was ecstatic while Syrus was still nervous, but Crowler didn't care what they were feeling as he continued announcing, "And on the other corner we have their challengers! They are known as the best tag team duelists ever, the duelists that shook the playing field with their combos, the duelists that have way too much spunk, as they like to say, and they have glory and to much grace when they duel, they are the Tyler Sisters!"

Most people sweatdropped at the long introduction, but then they realized that he was most likely reading on what the duelists wrote for their introduction. Then they realized who they were fighting and the crowd went wild as the two sisters went ahead and showed themselves.

One looked like the younger of the two sisters, had long white hair down to her shoulders and light green eyes. The suit she was wearing was a light white suit and white jeans, with a dress, something to kind of an Obelisk Blue uniform, around her hips. She was waving to all of the students who were watching with enthusiasm.

The other one looked like the older sister, had long brown hair down to her shoulders with dark red eyes. The suit she was wearing looked much like military gear, rather than the suit that her sister wore, but the suit itself was similar in colours. She waved at the students with way less enthusiasm than her sister, showing that she was the mature one.

Syrus gulped, nervous that of all the teams he could have dueled, it was the best tag team in the world and that he was dueling, in his opinion, two attractive women. Jaden on the other hand, "Woah! I have heard about you two, the best duelists with tag synergy and amazing combos like you two are reading their minds! I always wanted to duel you two!"

The older twin sister scoffed, "Do you hear that Grace? He said he wanted to duel us, want to go all out?" She looked at her younger sister, who now was known as Grace Tyler.

"I heard that, Gloria! Let's show these two that they shouldn't mess with the best!" Grace said she and her sister, now known as Gloria, took their duel disks and their decks.

Jaden returned the favour as he took out his duel disk and his deck, while Syrus sheepishly took out his duel disk and deck. Crowler looked at the two tag teams, "Are the tag teams ready?" All four of them nodded their heads, "Well let the duel begin!" He said as he ran down the stage and peeked his head to see the duel.

Jaden Yuki & Syrus Truesdale: 8000 lp

Gloria Tyler & Grace Tyler: 8000 lp

Turn 1.

All four of them drew 5 cards from their decks, "Lady's first!" Grace drew her card, making it known as her turn. She took out a card from her hand, "I summon Amazoness Swords Woman!"

Behind Grace an amazoness jumped in front of her and landed perfectly. The monster was a female with a fur bra with dark red hair, a fur skirt and had dark skin colours. The monster also held a sword bigger than a Syrus itself.

(Amazoness Swords Woman: Level 4 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 1500. Defense: 1600.)

Grace then took two cards from her hand, "And I will end my turn with two face downs!" Two cards were set vertically behind the Swords Woman.

Turn 2.

Jaden turned to Syrus, "Hey, mind if I take the turn buddy?" Syrus looked at him and nodded, Jaden grinned, "Alright! It's my move!" he drew his card and looked at his hand and smiled. He took one of the cards, "I will turn up the heat with Elemental HERO Blazeman!"

Onto the Slifer Reds, a fire appeared hot enough to melt steel, but then quickly came out a Hero from the blaze. The hero wore a red helmet and on his torso, he also wore an armour strong enough to withstand even the toughest of wore tight black jeans with red knee pads. Around him were six orbs tied by a rope that was on his body. The hero then posed dramatically towards the audience.

(Elemental HERO Blazeman: Level 4 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1800.)

Jaden then pointed at his Fire Hero, "And thanks to my comrade's effect, I can add a Polymerization when he is summoned onto the field," Jaden then took his deck and searched for the Spell card and took it, "And why not activate it!?" He said as he activated the Spell card.

"I fuse the Elemental HERO Blazeman on my field and the Necroshade in my hand so I can Fusion summon!" Onto his field appeared a fiendish looking Hero wearing a tight black and red clad suit, only for it and Blazeman to be sucked into a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the vortex came out a Hero with a red fiery helmet with a long flowing cape for dramatic effect and wore a red clad suit on top of that. The fire from the Hero alone were making the spectators sweat, "Here is the Hero to melt the villains away, Elemental HERO Nova Master!"

(Elemental HERO Nova Master: Fusion - Level 8 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 2600. Defense: 2100.)

Grace whistled, "Pretty impressive, right sis?"

Gloria nodded her head, "Yeah, but let's be honest, his Hero will be a chew toy for our monster."

"Oh yeah! Well how about this!" Jaden announced as he pointed at Nova Master, "Go! Attack their Swords Woman with Blazing Universe!" He didn't hear Bastion trying to stop him, but it was too late.

Nova Master leaped forward to his new opponent, as his right hand was set ablaze. But Grace activated her set card, "What a bother, I activate the Trap Card, Zero Gazer! When you attack my monster, my monster loses all of their attack points! Sorry, gal!" The amazoness dropped to her knees (ATK: 1500 - 0.), but that didn't stop the Fire Hero.

As soon as he landed in front of the amazoness, his right fist delivered a mighty and full heat hook, destroying the monster with one blow. But some people didn't notice her sword jumped in the air as soon as she was destroyed.

"Way to go Jay!" cheered Syrus as he looked at his dueling partner, "You destroyed her monster in our first turn and dealt damage!"

Before Jaden could stroke his own ego, he realized the last part of Syrus' sentence, he looked at the Tyler sisters, "Hey, wait. Why aren't your life points dropped? Is it the effect of your Swords Woman?"

Gloria smirked, "Well you are half right, maybe you might have a brain after all. Sword Woman's effect is that it deals you damage equal to the points we would have gotten." The Slifers' and the audience's eyes widened at the effect, while Mamoru nodded with a grin on his face.

The sword in the air went down towards Jaden, going through him, but still hurting him in the process. "Jaden!" yelled Syrus as Jaden dropped to his knees.

In the sidelines

"That looked like it hurt." commented Alexis.

Bastion leaned in with his hands on his chin, "That's what I wanted to warn them about, the Amazoness archetype has a deadly Battle Phase effect. In fact the Battle Phase is their specialty."

"I guess they have to do this the hard way I guess," said Celina.

Back to the Duel

Jaden rose up to his feet and looked at the two with a smile on his face, "Heh, looks like this will be difficult, I like it." He put his hand on the top of his deck, "When Nova Master destroys a monster by battle, I can draw one card!" He did so, but Grace pointed at her two cards.

"Who said we were done? Zero Gazer's other effect is after my monster is destroyed, I can draw a card on my own, but then I chain Pride of the Tribe! When my monster is destroyed, I can summon one of her gal pals from my deck!" She took out her deck and searched for a specific monster, she took it and summoned it, "I summon Amazoness Fighter!"

A pole appeared on the Duel Arena and it looked like a totem pole with a siren on the very top of the totem. As soon as it was summoned, the siren went off, meaning one comrade was down so a fairly deep skinned woman with long dark hair down to her shoulders, dark green bra and skirt with an extremely well built body came running towards it to stop the siren.

(Amazoness Fighter: Level 4 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 1500. Defense: 1300.)

Gloria then took a card out of her hand as her younger sister drew her card, "What does an amazoness need, other than their pet? When an Amazoness monster is summoned onto the field, I can special summon Amazoness Baby Tiger!"

From the shoulders of Amazoness Fighter came out a sleepy small kitten, it let out a yawn and Fighter petted the little feline, making everyone, even Zane, let out a 'aww'. The Amazoness put the little cat on the Duel Arena as it tried, and failed horribly to scare anyone.

(Amazoness Pet Tiger: Level 2 - Earth Beast - Attack: 500. Defense: 500.)

"Okay, that was adorable, right Sy?" Jaden looked at Syrus, who was trying his best not to run to the field, just capture the little cat, Celina-style. Hell he swore that he heard Alexis and Bastion trying to restrain Celina not to run there and get the cat. He shook his head as he looked at his hand.

It was good, but not the one he wanted right now, sure he could've summoned a monster, but that wouldn't have changed anything so he took 2 cards from his hand, "I end my turn with 2 cards face down!" two cards were set vertically behind Nova Master.

Turn 3. Gloria - 8000 lp - 4 cards

Gloria drew her card, and then a grin appeared on her face. She took two cards in her hand, "I guess we have to put more allies on the field huh, sister?" Grace, despite her older sister being vague, understood what she meant, "Well let's get started, if I control an Amazoness monster in our hands," She revealed an Amazoness monster in her hands, "So I can special summon Amazoness Spy!"

On her side of the field, appeared a petite amazoness with a tan, a cape that Jaden wanted to wear, a red mask to cover her head, fur bikini and skirt and a small dagger.

(Amazoness Spy: Level 3 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 800. Defense: 1200.)

"But what good is a tribe without a queen, so I tribute it," She took out a card from her hand, "so I can summon the queen of the amazoness herself, Amazoness Queen!" From the depths of the ground of the Duel Arena emerged a throne only an emperor would be worthy of sitting on it, but the seat was already taken.

The monster itself looked like goddess of war and power with muscles that would put even the most brave soldiers to their knees. It wore armour that would win any war that would be a part of it and wielded a sword that was bigger than any man that could hope to wield it.

(Amazoness Queen: Level 6 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 2400. Defense: 1800.)

The Tyler Sisters looked at each other, thinking if they should play their card, but their grins put dread in Syrus, while it put excitement in Jaden. "I activate the Spell card, Tribal Energy! For every Amazoness monster that me and my sister control, I can draw 1 card!"

Grace added in, "If you can't count track, that's 3 cards!" Gloria nodded as she drew 3 cards from her deck. She looked towards her older sister and saw the smirk, "Oh you drew those cards, huh sis? Then this is over for them."

"Oh how right you are, sister, I activate the Field Spell card, Amazoness Village!" Gloria inserted a card inside of her Field Zone and then the entire Duel Arena changed into a village. The houses were made out of wood and filled with amazonesses. There were trees all around the houses.

In the sidelines

"My god, how long is her turn gonna go on for?" asked Celina as she looked over towards Bastion and Alexis, who both had worried faces.

"Judging by the amount of resources they still have, I say a couple of more turns." Bastion said as he bit his lip.

"I just can't stand this. They are using Pro Duelists against them, like they want them to lose." Alexis voiced her opinion.

"But I know that they can do this." The Slifer Red hoped.

"Do you think that your little brother can win this duel, Zane?" Honest looked towards Zane as the Obelisk glanced at him. "If he knows how to use his cards, then of course."

Back to the duel

Syrus looked all over the new look of the Duel Arena, "Well, that isn't so bad, right Jay?" Jaden nodded his head in agreement.

Gloria then pointed at all of her monsters, "You might wanna rethink that! Since my village makes all of our monsters gain 200 attack points, and oh did I forget about my little kitten's effect? He gains 100 attack points for every Amazoness in our graveyard!" "Me and my big mouth."

Amazoness Queen: 2400 - 2600 attack points

Amazoness Baby Tiger: 500 - 700 - 900 attack points

Amazoness Fighter: 1500 - 1700 attack points

"And for my final act is activating the Continuous Spell card, Amazoness Fighting Spirit!" A Spell appeared in front of the Tyler Sisters, "When an Amazoness monster attacks a monster with a higher attack, they gain an extra 1000 attack boost! Sister, if I may," Grace nodded at the request before she could request, "Well, then. Amazoness Fighter attacks your Nova Master!"

Amazoness Fighter: 1700 - 2700 attack points

Fighter ran down towards Nova Master with her fist, with a mighty hook, but Jaden had a different idea, "I activate Hero Barrier! I can negate one attack if I control one Elemental Hero on my side of the field!" A barrier came out of the Trap to stop the attack coming from the amazoness. Fighter did a backflip towards her tribe.

"Tch. Don't think you are safe! Our queen can not be destroyed by battle so go! Pulverize Nova Master!" The Queen got out of her throne only to run towards Nova Master and slashing it upwards, making an explosion.

"Thanks for that! Because a level 7 or higher monster was destroyed, I can activate Destruction Reward! Due to his effect, I can draw 2 cards!" Jaden did so as he looked at the two cards and smiled.

"And now, our cat will slash you with his little bitty claws~" Grace cooed as the little tiger ran towards Jaden and slashed his face, but he still awed at the little tiger.

Jaden & Syrus: 5400 - 4500 life points

Gloria & Grace: 8000 lp

Gloria then took a card from her hand, "I end my turn with a face down!" a card was set vertically in front of the Tyler Sisters, "Your move twerp!"

"This is just perfect! In a team, there is always a weak link that manages to make everything worse and crumbles an entire thing like a house of cards!" thought Crowler, "And poor Syrus. Poor, poor Syrus. He would be the weakest link in a plate of sausages!...Wait what?"

Turn 4. Syrus - 4500 lp - 5 cards

Syrus let out a 'eep' as he drew a card from his deck. He observed his hand to see what he did until he saw a combo he could use, "I summon Rocketroid!" From the sky, landed a cartoonish looking rocket with a red tip on it, making the sisters and the Obelisks laugh at the monster.

(Rocketroid: Level 4 - Earth Machine - Attack: 1900. Defense: 500.)

"Sorry to tell you, but toys aren't allowed in Duels!" Grace laughed.

Syrus looked saddened, before he looked at the sisters, "Oh yeah?! Are toys that can destroy a monster once per turn allowed?!" That stopped the laughter as the monster flew towards the Amazoness Queen, making the warrior yell in pain.

Amazoness Baby Tiger: 900 - 1000 attack points

Grace pointed at one of the houses, "When an Amazoness is destroyed, by battle or card effects, I can special summon an Amazoness monster from my deck with equal or lower level than the destroyed monster! So come out, Amazoness Trainee!" From one of the houses came out a warrior with a tan, a fur bra and skirt while holding a whip.

(Amazoness Trainee: Level 4 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 1500 [ - 1700]. Defense: 1300.)

"I guess I have to return the favour! I activate Quick-Play Spell card, Roid Emergency! When I destroy a monster with a Roid monster, I can special summon a Roid monster from my deck!" Syrus took out his deck as he took out a card from it and put the monster on his duel disk.

"I summon Jetroid!" From above, flew a cartoonish looking jet towards the smaller Slifer.

(Jetroid: Level 4 - Earth Machine - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1800.)

"Before I engage in battle, I am activating the Quick-Play Spell card, Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Fighting Spirit!" A strong gust of wind appeared out of the card to destroy the face up Spell card, Jaden snapped his fingers and gave Syrus a thumbs up, "And now, my Rocketroid will attack your Fighter!"

The cartoonish looking rocket flew in high speeds as it charged the battle warrior and destroyed it with zero issue. However they saw that the life points stayed the same, "Fighter's effect is that we don't take damage from battles involving it, and now the effect of our village activates!" Grace took out her deck and took a card from it, "Avenge you pal, Amazoness Paladin! And she gains 100 attack points for every one of her gal pals!"

From the houses came an amazoness with the same colour of skin as the rest of the tribe, she also wore a robe to cover herself with golden hair and a katana in her hands while the baby tiger yawned in strength.

Amazoness Baby Tiger: 1000 - 1100 attack points

Syrus gripped his hand, "Oh come on! Everytime we try to do something it always comes back to bite us in the neck!" He pushed up his glasses as he pointed towards that tiger that can be trouble, "Go Jetroid! Attack her Baby Tiger!"

The jet brakes forward and charges against the baby tiger, who was sleeping peacefully, but sadly, Gloria stepped in, "Like hell you will! I activate the Trap, Dramatic Rescue! When an Amazoness monster is targeted for an attack I can return the monster," Baby Tiger ran towards his mistress and landed in her arms, just so it can disappear, "And a monster is then special summoned onto the field, sister if you may."

"Of course sis!" The younger twin yelled as she took a card from her hand, "I summon Amazoness Tiger!" from the house came out a tiger with red fur and a scar on its eye.

(Amazoness Tiger: Level 4 - Earth Beast - Attack: 1100 [ - 1300]. Defense: 1500.)

Syrus looked towards Jaden, which he watched in horror. He looked at his hand, and he had no more combos. He dropped his head, "I end my turn."

Turn 5. Grace - 8000 lp - 3 cards

Grace drew her card with grace, "Aww, do I feel kinda bad for you two." Gloria looked at her younger twin, "Almost." The older twin grinned, "I activate Amazoness Call! This allows me to either add an Amazoness monster, or send it to my graveyard, so I will send my Amazoness Queen to the graveyard." She did as she said that.

"I summon Amazoness Scouts!" Two petite women appeared onto the field while holding a bow and arrow.

(Amazoness Scouts: Level 2 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 500 [ - 700]. Defense: 1100.)

The crowd roared in applause as both the sisters filled almost an entire field with their monsters in just 3 of their turns, while the ones who were rooting for Jaden and Syrus were worried for them. "And now Amazoness Tiger gains 400 attack points for every Amazoness monsters on the field while Paladin gains an extra 100 attack points!"

Amazoness Tiger: 1300 - 2500 attack points

Amazoness Paladin: 2400 - 2500 attack points

"Time for a climatic finale! Go Amazoness Paladin attack Rocketroid!" The swordswoman nodded as she went towards the Rocket and slashed him, parts of the rocket went towards the crowd and accidently hit Crowler, making him fall over.

Jaden & Syrus: 4500 - 3900 life points

Grace & Gloria: 8000 lp

"I let our pet tiger sic on your toy plane! Go attack Jetroid!" The tiger roared in power as it ran towards Jetroid and jumped in order to deliver a mighty blow.

In the sidelines

"If that attack goes through, they will almost lose all of their life points!" yelled out Bastion.

"No! They have to stop this!" yelled Celina as Alexis saw this in horror.

Chazz sitting on the side of the Tyler Sisters grinned, "After this attack, they will be close to lose this duel! Good."

Zane looked over to his younger brother and saw how close his right hand is to his left hand while holding a card, like he has something in his hand, a small smile appeared on his face which made Honest look over to see him smiling and that made the duel spirit smile.

Back to the Duel

The tiger was now only a few meters away from Jetroid, but Syrus took a card out of his hand, "Jetroid's effect activates! During the Battle Phase, I can activate a Trap card from my hand and I choose Magic Cylinder!" Everyone's jaw dropped, even Jaden's, as a cylinder appeared behind Jetroid.

Amazoness Tiger went inside of the cylinders, only to go out of one of them and charged at the sisters and slashed both of them at the same time.

Jaden & Syrus: 3900 lp

Grace & Gloria: 8000 - 5500 life points

Jaden looked at his duel partner with eyes sparkling, "Sy, THAT WAS AMAZING!" Syrus rubbed the back of his head as the sisters glared at the short bluenette.

"Oh now you did it!" yelled Gloria as she pointed at Trainee, "Trainee, whip that annoying toy apart!" Trainee, not wanting to feel the wrath of her mistress, charged and whipped Jetroid into parts that knocked out Crowler after he got up just a second ago.

Jaden & Syrus: 3900 - 3400 life points

Grace & Gloria: 5500 lp

Grace huffed, "Sis! It was my turn!" Gloria scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Well whatever, since you are clear, I can attack you directly with Amazoness Scouts!" The two scouts pointed at the Slifer duo and shot arrows at them.

Jaden & Syrus: 3400 - 2700 life points

Grace & Gloria: 5500 lp

Grace then took a card from her hand, "I end my turn with a face down." A card was set vertically in front of the sisters.

Turn 6. Jaden - 2700 lp - 5 cards

Jaden turned towards Syrus, "Sy, I gotta hand it to ya', I don't know if I can match that lost turn of yours, but I will try!" Jaden drew his card and grinned, "I will start this turn by summoning Elemental HERO Bubbleman!"

Bubbles appeared in front of Jaden and from it came out a Hero with a light blue colouring scheme with bubbles in the middle of his torso.

(Elemental HERO Bubbleman: Level 4 - Water Warrior - Attack: 800. Defense: 1200.)

"He has an ability when he is chilling alone when summoned; I draw 2 cards from my deck!" Jaden drew his two cards and looked at his hand. An almost win is going to be performed.

"Necroshade's effect activates! When he is chilling in the graveyard," A fiendish Hero that was used as a Fusion material on his last turn appeared the brunette, "once per turn, I can special summon a Hero from my hand regardless of level!" Jaden took a card from his hand as he inserted the monster in his duel disk.

Necroshade slashed a portal behind Jaden, to which a crystal like Hero jumped out of it in dramatic fashion. The Hero showed itself and the monster looked like a Crystalsapien from a popular show that Jaden used to watch as a kid. The crystals were shinier than a diamond, "I summon the Hero that can morph into any Hero he wants, Elemental HERO Prisma!"

(Elemental HERO Prisma: Level 5 - Light Warrior - Attack: 1700. Defense: 1100.)

Jaden then pointed at his Light Hero, "Time to use his effect! I can send a monster that is a Fusion material from my deck, and his name becomes that of the monster!" He took out his deck and searched for a certain monster. He sent it to his graveyard.

"The monster I sent was Elemental Hero Burstinatrix so he transforms into the Fiery Heroine!" Prisma was then glowing which made everyone cover their eyes, but poor Crowler was too late to cover his eyes as he screeched in pain. The Light Hero then transformed into the Fire Heroine herself, Burstinatrix.

"What was the point of that?" Grace tilted her head in confusion.

"Yeah, good point, sister. You only made your monster change appearance and last time I checked Burstinatrix was a Normal monster, so that was pointless." pointed out Gloria.

Jaden looked at his hand and smiled as he took the card that he was looking at, "To do this! I activate Polymerization! I fuse my Burstantrix and Bubbleman on my field so I can Fusion summon!" The Fire and Water Heroes were sucked into a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the Vortex came out a Hero that wore a furnace with a bright red colouring scheme. On the sides he had pipes to take all of the steam out of the monster. The monster also wore a helmet that covered his face to keep his face safe from the steam, "Here comes the Hero that can steam his way out of any situation, Elemental Hero Steam Healer!"

(Elemental HERO Steam Healer: Fusion - Level 5 - Water Warrior - Attack: 1800. Defense: 1000.)

"What will that overgrown furnace do?!" Grinned Gloria, only to Jaden return the favour.

"Oh nothing much yet, but I will continue my turn by activating Miracle Fusion!" the audience gasped while Syrus smiled, that was the card that he gave to him before this duel after all, "By banishing Fusion materials from my graveyard so I can Fusion summon an Elemental Hero!" Prisma and Bubbleman appeared onto the field, only to be sucked into a White-Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

"Here comes the Hero that will blind any villain on the site…" From the Vortex came out a shining light that, again, almost blinded everyone. The figure showed itself to his enemies. The Hero wore a tight white clad suit with red orbs around his arms and a halo above his head and around his torso, "...Elemental Hero The Shining!"

(Elemental HERO The Shining: Fusion - Level 8 - Light Warrior - Attack: 2600. Defense: 2100.)

In the sidelines

"Damn it, Slacker!" yelled Chazz as he covered his eyes from the light, "At least warn us the next time, or do you want everyone to get blind?!"

"I hate that I agree with Chazz for once." groaned Celina as her friends nodded with her.

Chancellor Sheppard looked over towards Mamoru, "What's wrong, Mamoru? Annoyed at the constant light?"

"No, well yes, it is very distracting, but I am just shocked that they outpower the Sisters in a short time," Sheppard understood, but Mamoru pointed at Crowler who was covering his eyes on the floor, "Also why does he act like a buffon?"

Sheppard left out a soft laugh, "Well, I don't know actually. He is just like…that."

Back to the duel

"Sorry, Chazz! Kinda forgot you were there for a sec!" Jaden cleared his throat as he pointed at his Light Fusion Hero, "This baby has an effect! He gains a power boost of 300 attack points for every Hero banished, sweet huh?" The Shining let out a battle cry as he became stronger.

The Shining: 2600 - 3200 attack points

"You know what? I am tired of you two gaining monsters everytime we destroy one, right Sy?" He looked at Syrus who nodded his head in agreement, that Field Spell card was really annoying, like a lot. "Well, time to destroy it with R - Righteous Justice! This card destroys a Spell or Trap card on the field up to the amount of Elemental Heroes are on the field, and tell me, how many Heroes do we have on the field?"

The sisters eyes widened as a red R came out of a Spell card, "But wait that means, you are gonna destroy our Field Spell and set card!" Oh how right Gloria was as the Spell card went towards every house in the Amazoness Village and evaporated on the spot.

But before R - Righteous Justice could destroy Grace's set card, she activated it in response, "Oh no you won't! I activate the Trap card, Amazoness Tribute! I tribute an Amazoness monster," she pointed at her Paladin and the monster evaporated, "And we gain life points equal to her attack points!"

Jaden & Syrus: 2700 lp

Grace & Gloria: 5500 - 7400 life points

Amazoness Tiger: 2500 - 2300 - 1900 attack points

Amazoness Scouts: 700 - 500 attack points

Amazoness Trainee: 1700 - 1500 attack points

"Not the ideal life points I wanted, but hey works for me!" Jaden thought as he pointed at his The Shining, "I think its time to finally attack! Go Shining attack their Scouts with Optical Storm!"

The Shining ran towards the Amazoness Scouts, the two monsters tried their hardest to either evade the eventual punch or tried to stop him with their bow and arrows, but unfortunately they failed as The Shining hand with the temperature of the Sun and struck both of them at the same time.

Jaden & Syrus: 2700 lp

Grace & Gloria: 7400 - 4700 life points

Amazoness Tiger: 1900 - 1500 attack points

Before the Tyler Sisters could recover from the attack, Jaden ordered, "And now, time for round 2! Steam Healer attacks your Amazoness Trainee with Steam Blast! And when he destroys your monster, both me and Sy gain life points equal to the destroyed monster's attack points!"

"Wait what!?" Steam Healer flew towards Trainee and blasted hot water directly to the face of Trainee, melting it.

Jaden & Syrus: 2700 - 4200 life points

Grace & Gloria: 4700 - 4400 life points

Amazoness Tiger: 1500 - 1100 attack points

As the crowd went crazy on the turn and both of the duos heard a certain Ra Yellow yelling "Great Scott!", Syrus looked over to his duel partner, "Jay! That was an amazing turn! We gained life points while at the same time destroying their field in one turn!"

Jaden rubbed the back of his head as he smiled, "Aww, thanks Sy, I can't wait to see what you can do!" He looked over to the sisters, "I end my turn!"

Turn 7. Gloria - 4400 lp - 3 cards

Gloria drew her card with fury and fire in her eyes, "Oh, this is perfect. I will destroy your annoying field with the Spell card known as Raigeki!" Lighting came down on Jaden's Light and Water Heroes, making Jaden stammer.

Jaden quickly got his footing back as he looked at the Sisters directly in the eyes, "Thank you because you caused the effect of The Shining! When he is destroyed, I can return 2 banished Hero monsters to my hand!" Jaden took the cards in his pocket right back to his hand.

Gloria looked at her hand and then at her younger sister, "I need some assistance, sister, can I?" Grace quickly understood what her sister meant so she grinned at the question, making it known that she can do it, so she took a card from her hand, "Great, now I activate the Spell card Polymerization! I fuse my Amazoness Baby Tiger in my hand with my sister's Amazoness Tiger so I can Fusion summon!"

A tiny baby red tiger was summoned onto the field which made the audience 'aww' again, only for it and its older self to be sucked into a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex, much to the dismay of everyone.

From the Vortex came out a tiger that didn't even resembled even the older part of the Tiger. The tiger wore battle armour all over the body with a battle scar on its eye. The monster was bigger than everyone dueling combined, "Here comes the barbarous tiger that will maul you to pieces, Amazoness Pet Liger!"

(Amazoness Pet Liger: Fusion - Level 7 - Earth Beast - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2400.)

"Aww~ Isn't he a little cutie~?" cooed Grace as Gloria couldn't help, but also aww at the cute creature while everyone couldn't believe that they would describe that beast cute.

"Cute!? That thing looks like he has a bigger appetite than Chumley/me!" That was both Syrus, Celina and Chumley's thought process right about now. Before any of them could voice their opinions, Jaden spoke up, "Yeah, I think so!"

Everyone, and that includes Zane and Honest, looked at the brunette as he was continuing complimenting the beast and the sisters nodding with each compliment.

Honest looked at Zane, "This is the person you respect most on the island?" Honest was really not trying to sound rude, not at all, but he just wanted to know a little more of The Kaiser of Duel Academy.

"Well, to be blunt, yes he is. Trust me, after this duel, you will understand what I meant by that." said Zane as they heard Jaden finally stop complimenting the mighty Amazoness Fusion monster.

"Alright, now I actually feel bad for expelling you, right sis?" Grace looked at Gloria, who shared the same opinion.

"I agree, but at least we won't feel bad about expelling the short one!" Syrus yelped as Pet Liger growled, "Our Pet Liger will attack you directly with Howling Fur Masher! And when our pet attacks, he gains 500 extra attack points!"

Amazoness Pet Liger: 2500 - 3000 attack points

Pet Liger ran towards the Slifer duo and jumped up in the air. When the beast was near one of them, it was at poor Syrus, and slashed his face, making an anime style scar on his face. Pet Liger ran back towards his mistresses, getting a pat from both of them.

Jaden & Syrus: 4200 - 1200 life points

Grace & Gloria: 4400 lp

Amazoness Pet Liger: 3000 - 2500 attack points

Gloria then took a card from her hand, "I end my turn with a face down." A card was set vertically behind Pet Liger.

Turn 8. Syrus - 1200 lp - 2 cards

"Don't let them get to you, Sy. You got this." thought Jaden as he looked at his duel partner, who looked like he was on the very verge of quitting this duel. Syrus looked at Jaden, and a smile was all it took for him to continue in this duel.

Syrus drew his card and nodded. He put the card he just drew and said, "I summon Expressroid in defense mode!" a cartoonish looking express train was summoned onto the field.

(Expressroid: Level 4 - Earth Machine - Attack: 400. Defense: 1600.)

Syrus punched the air, "I then activate the effect of Expressroid! When he is summoned onto the field, I can return two Roid monsters from my graveyard back to my hand!" From two of the doors of Expressroid, came out Rocketroid and Jetroid which then flew into Syrus' hand.

"Alright, it's now or never!" Syrus thought as he took out a card from his hand and inserted it into the duel disk, "I activate Polymerization! I fuse my Expressroid on my field with the Rocket and Jetroid from my hand so I can Fusion summon!" Rocketroid and Jetroid appeared on the field, only for them and Expressroid to be sucked in a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the Vortex came out a metallic hand, the hand looked like a part of a Gundam rather than a monster that Syrus usually uses, but soon enough the entire body was then shown to the audience. The monster itself was the size of the entire Dueling Arena, with wings larger than the Pet Liger. The skin was in a white colouring scheme, but the arms were red. The monster looked something out of Gurren Lagann. "Come out my favourite Roid monster, Armoroid!"

(Armoroid: Fusion - Level 8 - Earth Machine - Attack: 2700. Defense: 2000.)

"Holy…bananas." That's all that Jaden could say as that's the most anyone could say right now, except Zane didn't even need to say anything, he was just proud of his little brother for now.

"That's right, Jay, but I am not done for now, since I am activating the Equip Spell card, Roid Equipment! This card allows me to equip a Roid Fusion monster!" Syrus' Equip Spell flew towards Armoroid's arm, "And once per turn, I can banish a Roid monster from my graveyard and the equipped monster gains the same attack as the banished monster for the rest of the turn! I banish Rocketroid!"

A Rocketroid flew from its graveyard to the hand of Armoroid, only for the arm to transform into the shape of a rocket.

Armoroid: 2700 - 4600 attack points

"Oh, damn!" yelled a random Obelisk Blue.

"Oh right! Time for my Armoroid to attack your Amazoness Pet Liger (ATK: 2500 - 3000) with Electricity Crush!" Armoroid listened to Syrus' command as it locked towards the Pet Liger, but Gloria activated her set card.

"Oh no you don't! I activate the Trap card, Amazoness Willpower!" Gloria's set card was activated as her graveyard glowed, "With this card, I can special summon an Amazoness monster from my graveyard!" a card was taken out as she took out the card and inserted on her duel disk, "I revive the queen herself, Amazoness Queen!"

A throne came out of the floor of the Duel Arena with the warrior goddess sitting on the throne. As soon as it was revived, she stood up with her sword in her hands.

(Amazoness Queen: Level 6 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 2400. Defense: 1800.)

"Great job, sis! Since due to her effect, all of our Amazoness monsters can not be destroyed by battle!" Grace cheered as Armoroid shot a rocket from its arm and while it did not destroy it, it did leave a mark on the battle beast.

Jaden & Syrus: 1200 lp

Grace & Gloria: 4400 - 2800 life points

Amazoness Pet Liger: 3000 - 2500 attack points

"Aww, I was planning on beating that monster, but still, better than nothing." Syrus looked at his hand, and saw nothing so he sighed, "I end my turn with that." Armoroid's rocket hand then transformed into its ordinary metallic hand.

Armoroid: 4600 - 2700 attack points

Turn 9. Grace - 2800 lp - 1 card

"Yall did good for some punks, but I will end both of you right now!" Grace drew a card from her deck, and smirked as she took a card from her hand, "I will now fuse my sis' Queen on her field with my another copy of Amazoness Scouts so I can Fusion summon!" Two amazoness monsters with two different weapons appeared onto the field, only for them and the Amazoness Queen to be sucked into a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the Vortex jumped down an older version of Amazoness Queen, but to Jaden and Syrus' dismay, it looked far more powerful than the queen, with her hair with silver colouring, a red cape and a sword that looked way heavier and stronger than last sword.

Pet Liger turned around and saw his mistress. He walked over to her and got a pat to the head. "I summon the Amazoness that rules every Amazoness ever, Amazoness Empress!"

(Amazoness Empress: Fusion - Level 8 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2400.)

"Great job, sister. We just have to take down that overgrown toy, and we won the duel." Grace smiled at her older sister, "Shall I strike first?" She got a nod from her younger sister and grinned, "Go Amazoness Pet Liger strike Armoroid with Howling Fur Masher and don't forget his effect!"

Amazoness Pet Liger: 2500 - 3000 attack points

The tiger ran towards Syrus' Fusion monster and jumped at the machine, preparing to slash it apart, but Syrus was prepared to stop this before it gets too late, "No you won't! I sacrifice Roid Equipment so I can activate its last effect!" Armoroid raised his hand and the equipment disappeared, "For the rest of the turn, he can't be destroyed by battle or effect, and then I can draw 1 card!"

Syrus drew his card as Pet Liger slashed Armoroid, but the Roid monster stood tall as the tiger ran back to the Tyler Sisters.

Jaden & Syrus: 1200 - 900 life points

Grace & Gloria: 2800 lp

Grace took a deep breath, trying her best not to rage at the moment, but she can still do something, "I still have one more attack! Amazoness Empress slashed your Armoroid with Sharp Axe Mash!"

Amazoness Empress nodded at the command as she ran towards the Roid machine and used her massive sword to slash the Earth Machine and slashed it, making a huge dent on the massive machine. As soon as she was done, she returned to the Tyler Sisters.

Jaden & Syrus: 900 - 800 life points

Grace & Gloria: 2800 lp

Grace then looked at her hand, but she literally had nothing. She huffed, "I'll end my turn."

Turn 10. Jaden - 800 lp - 5 cards

Jaden drew his card and gulped, he had nothing. "Aww, crud! I have nothing! I can't even activate Bubbleman's effect since Sy's Armoroid is on the field, none of the Fusion monsters could handle this, but" he looked at his Prisma, "I do have one trick up in my sleeve." "Sy, I need your Armoroid for something!"

"Go for it, Jay!" yelled Syrus back.

"Thanks Sy," Jaden cleared his throat, "I tribute Armoroid so I can normal summon my Elemental Hero Prisma!" The Earth Fusion Roid monster disappeared as from the field came out a Crystalsapien.

(Elemental HERO Prisma: Level 5 - Light Warrior - Attack: 1700. Defense: 1100.)

Before he can reach for his deck, he remembered what Chazz said a few turns ago, "Guys cover your eyes for a few minutes, I am about to use Prisma's effect of turning into Avian!" The fact he can hear Chazz mutter "Thank my money, Slacker." from a few meters away is hilarious to him. He took out his deck and sent Avian from his deck to the graveyard, the crystal monster turned into the Wind Hero.

Jaden then took out a card from his hand, "And now its time to fuse with the Spell card, Polymerization! I fuse my Prisma on my field with the Bubbleman and Sparkman in my hand so I can Fusion summon!" Bubbleman and a Hero wearing a yellow and blue clad suit with electricity theme, only for them and Prisma to be sucked into a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the Vortex came out a Hero that had wings of Avian, wore a blue and yellow clad suit with a cannon on his right hand and on his left hand wore a claw, he had a visor on his eyes to protect him from his attacks, had dark green hair and he had muscles to even make the Empress blush, "I summon the Hero that has the elements of Wind, Thunder and Water, Elemental Hero Tempest!"

(Elemental HERO Tempest: Fusion - Level 8 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2800.)

"It's not enough to defeat, but better then nothing," Jaden took out one of the two cards, "I activate H - Heated Heart!" A flaming H went out of a Spell card and targeted the Wind Hero monster, and it got stronger, "Until the end of the turn, he gains 500 attack points!"

Tempest: 2800 - 3300 attack points

"Go, Tempest attack Amazoness Empress with Powerhouse Plummet!" Jaden yelled as his Fusion monster used his cannon at the Empress, but Gloria called out.

"Aww, sorry there, but my Amazoness Pet Liger's effect is it can only be targeted as the attack target!"

"Yeah, and Amazoness Empress' effect is that none of our Amazoness monsters can not be targeted by effects and can not be destroyed by battle and effects!" Grace called out as Tempest targeted Pet Liger (ATK: 2500 - 3000.) and shot a beam combined with electricity, water and wind, but didn't even scratch the monster.

Jaden & Syrus: 800 lp

Grace & Gloria: 2800 - 2500 life points

Amazoness Pet Liger: 3000 - 2500 attack points

Jaden gritted his teeth as he looked at his hand, he only had a single Insurance card, a card that makes the player gain 500 life points if it returns to his hand, he sighed, "I throw down a face down and call it my turn!" A card was set vertically behind Tempest.

Tempest: 3300 - 2800 attack points

Turn 11. Gloria - 2500 lp - 1 card

Gloria drew her hand, but the card she drew, wouldn't have helped even with the low life point count of her two duel opponents so she put the card in her hand and pointed at her Pet Liger, "Guess its time for the climatic finale! Pet Liger attacks your Tempest with Howling Fur Masher!"

Pet Liger: 2500 - 3000 attack points

Pet Liger ran towards the Wind Hero, "Jaden, do you have something for this?!" yelled out Syrus as Jaden pointed at his set card.

"Oh yeah, Sy, I do! Tempest's activates! I can sacrifice a card on my field to protect him for one attack!" The set card disappeared, as Pet Liger ran towards Tempest, but unsuccessfully attacked the Wind Fusion Hero. The Amazoness tiger went back to the Empress.

Jaden & Syrus: 800 - 600 life points

Grace & Gloria: 2500 lp

Amazoness Pet Liger: 3000 - 2500 attack points

"Aww, I wanted to finish the job! But this would still works, may I sis?" Grace looked over towards her older sister.

"Of course, just make it have some spunk into it." said Gloria.

"Kinda offended that you think I won't, but still, go Amazoness Empress attack that Tempest and their last line of defense!" Grace commanded her monster, as the empress ran towards Tempest with her sword already on her back and slashed the Wind Hero, making a huge and dramatic explosion that engulfed the audience, but it didn't harm them in the slightest.

"TEMPEST!" yelled the Slifer Red duo as their powerful, but last, defense was destroyed in the very next turn it was summoned onto the field. Relying on Syrus to finish the job done and saving them from expulsion.

"JADEN! SYRUS!" yelled the only people that rooted for the Slifer Red duo, Celina, Alexis, Bastion and Chumley. Zane was quiet the entire thing, knowing that if Syrus plays things correctly, they will win the duel, which was interesting to the duel spirit beside him.

The ones that wanted them to lose, Crowler, Chazz, Mamoru and pretty much everyone else in Obelisk Blue and some in Ra Yellow cheered for the Tyler Sisters as they almost wiped the floor of them.

Sheppard and Banner looked at each other as the sounds of cheers became even louder, shaking their heads in a disapproving way. Ashamed of how they would treat their fellow classmates like this.

Eventually it was all clear and everyone saw the Tyler Sisters standing confidently while Jaden and Syrus looked like they would pass out any minute now, like they survived an actual explosion.

"Look at you two, almost down like two kicked puppies."

"Gotta hand it to ya', you lasted far longer than our other opponents, but losers are still losers! Your move, twerp!" yelled out both the sisters as the turn number went ahead.

Turn 12. Syrus - 600 lp - 1 card

Syrus looked towards Jaden, with a tear almost in his eyes, "Jay, I'm sorry."

Jaden turned towards Syrus with a confused expression, "What do you mean, Sy?" he asked.

"For making us lose the duel and getting us expelled," Syrus started as Jaden looked at the short bluenette, "If only you would have gotten a better partner, you would have not been expelled. I should have left the island, Jay. I am sorry for being the cause of your expulsion, please don't be angry at me." He sniffed, but saw Jaden's face, it was out of pity, he was concerned for his friend.

"Sy, don't be like that, I won't be mad at you for expelling us, not one bit. Even if we do get expelled, we could still hang out with each other without Duel Academy," started off Jaden, "But still, who said we are expelled right now?"

Syrus looked at him with a confused look on his face, "What do you mean, Jay?"

"It's still your turn, Sy. And a duel is not over until the last card is played! So draw your card and win this duel for us! You can do it, Sy!" cheered Jaden as Syrus smiled and looked at his deck, and he felt Zane looking at him, not out of pity, but something different.

"It's my turn!" Syrus drew his card and his eyes widened, it was the Machine Spell Fusion card, Power Bond. Normally he won't play this card if it kills him, but since this was their only chance, he thought about the turn and how it would go.

"Let's see, Amazoness Pet Liger would make itself the target of the attack and boost it's attack to 500, and due to Amazoness Empress' effect, it wouldn't be destroyed by battle of card effects," thought Syrus until a lightbulb appeared onto his head, "Wait a minute, the card that Jaden gave before the promotion duels and the card that he gave me couple of works ago might help us here!"

Syrus took out a card from his hand, "I will start this turn by activating the Quick-Play Spell card, Cybernetic Fusion Support!" Around the Duel Arena, there was an interesting blue spark, everyone on it could feel it on their feet, even the monsters, "With this I can Fusion summon using materials anywhere I want for the price of our life points!"

Jaden & Syrus: 600 - 300 life points

Grace & Gloria: 2500 lp

Syrus looked at Jaden, wanting permission to which he got a thumbs up, he smiled as he picked up his last and final card, "I activate Power Bond!" The entire school gasped, loud enough even for people from Domino city could hear, as Zane leaned in catching Honest's attention away from the duel for a second.

"With this, I can Fusion summon a Machine Fusion monster using monsters anywhere thanks to Cybernetic Fusion Support and I am using my Armoroid and Jaden's Tempest so I can Fusion summon!" Onto Syrus' field appeared his Armoroid and his duel partner's Tempest, only for them to be sucked in by a Green-Blue Spiral Vortex.

From the Vortex came out a body that was similar to that of the Tempest, but then his entire body was covered of Armoroid, with a white colouring scheme. The muscles were made out of the metallic material, his eyes were covered by a red vizor on his eyes, while his wings were the same as Tempest as it was the only part that was not metallic.

Both Jaden and Syrus looked at each other, as everyone's, sans Zane's as he nodded his head, jaw dropped, before they nodded at each other as they continued in unison, "We summon a Hero that combines man and machine, Elemental Hero Roidman!"

(Elemental HERO Roidman: Fusion - Level 8 - Earth Machine - Attack: ?. Defense: ?.)

"Holy Ra! How did you get that card!?" yelled out Gloria.

Syrus pointed at Jaden, "His dad works at Industrial Illusions."

"Oh, oh damn. Sis," Grace looked at her sister, "I don't think we can win this."

"You're right for once since Roidman's strength is the combined stats of the monsters used for the Fusion summon and then Power Bond's effect is that the machine monster's attack gets doubled!" yelled Syrus as Roidman gears went crazy as the Tyler Sisters and even their monsters took a step back.

Elemental HERO Roidman: ? - 5500 - 11000 attack points/ ? - 4800 defense points

In the sidelines

"Holy BEEP on a BEEPing sandwich!" yelled out Celina, "Since when did they get so go-" and now she rememberred that she basically tortured Syrus for two weeks up until the expulsion duel, "Nevermind."

"What do you mean by tha- You know what, I do not want to know." said Alexis.

But then all were scared as Bastion stood out of his seat, "GREAT SCOTT! The unimaginable combos of them, combining two archetypes that don't have any synergy into one powerful monster is astonishing!" He looked over to see the other students looking at him, confused, "Oh sorry."

Chumley looked over with his eyes widened, "Oh that's so lischus! With this they won!"

Zane and Honest looked at the Duel Arena, Honest looked at the Kaiser of Duel Academy, "So, what do you think about both of them as group duelists?"

Zane looked at the duel spirit, "I think that both Syrus and Jaden have amazing potential as duelists, but Jaden was the only one who fully showed his potential. Although, I have to say that Sy made good friends."

Back to the Duel

"This is the end!" yelled Syrus as he pointed at his Roidman, "Go Roidman attack Amazoness Pet Liger with Machinery Smash!" Roidman nodded his head as he went towards the Pet Liger (ATK: 2500 - 3000.), the Fusion Amazoness jumped at the Machine Hero monster with a his paw in the air, trying to destroy it, but Roidman was fast enough to punch the tiger in the jaw, that everyone could hear the bones breaking, and the monster fell down, unable to be destroyed due to Empress' effect, the monster was shivering from the attack, trying to stop pain.

Crolwer, and the rest of the Obelisks and Mamoru, stood up, shocked that these two slackers could beat the best tag team duelists, while their friends were cheering like crazy.

Jaden and Syrus put their index finger with their middle finger and pointed at them, "That's game!"

Jaden & Syrus: 300 lp

Grace & Gloria: 2500 - 0 life points

JADEN YUKI & SYRUS TRUESDALE: WINNERS!

"Yeah, Jay we did it!" cheered Syrus as he ran towards Jaden and hugged the brunette with tears in his eyes, "We did it! We are gonna stay here!"

"Yeah, Sy! And we wouldn't have done it without you!" cheered Jaden as he continued, but then saw the Tyler Sisters coming to them, well to be exact, Grace was dragging her older sister. "Oh, sup!"

"Heya, sorry about all the things we said during the duel, right sis?" Grace looked at her sister as she crossed her hands and glared at the ground, not saying a word. "She is, she has a hard way to express it, y'know?"

Jaden nodded his head, "Yeah, I get that. Oh don't worry about that, I wasn't really angry about any of that!"

Grace hovered her hand on her chest, "Okay good, oh and I almost forgot," she said as she took a piece of paper from one of her pockets and gave it to Jaden, making everyone, including Gloria and Syrus, drop their jaws. She made a phone sign with her hand towards her ear, signaling a 'Call me'.

Jaden Yuki, a Slifer Red, the guy that is late to almost every class he attends, got a phone number from Grace Tyler, a duelist part of the best tag teams ever.

Gloria got up and dragged her sister out of the Duel Arena with Mamoru beside her, exiting the Duel Arena to scold her about giving her phone number to him of all people. If it was Zane, it would be understandable, but Jaden?! A certain indigo haired duelist unconsciously gripped the chair a little too hard as the chair broke catching the attention of her.

Chancellor Sheppard, professor Banner and Doctor Crolwer went towards the Slifer duo, Crolwer was mumbling something about how he wasted his entire paycheck on this semester.

"Great job you two! Not only have you won an expulsion duel, but you defeated a professional tag team!" congratulated Chancellor Sheppard as clapped at the two students, "You deserve to say here in Duel Academy, if I say so!"

"That's right, Chancellor, although," the Slifer Red duo and Sheppard looked at Banner as he continued, "I think they still should be punished for the abandoned dorm, so I say that both of you have to write a 10 page paper on everything you learned during this duel and your time in suspension."

"Excellent idea, Professor Banner!" said Sheppard as Syrus was shocked, but he could manage with that.

Jaden, on the other hand, dropped to his knees and caught the attention of everyone that was leaving the room, "NNNNNOOOOO! Take me with you! I surrender! I lost, please expell me!"

Chazz turned his head, "This is the guy that beat me? I disappoint myself sometimes." he said as he left the Duel Arena as the rest of the students.

"Ahh, Jaden, you do realize that they left right?" asked Sheppard as Jaden ignored him and started crying anime style, "Well, I guess its our time to leave you two to start writing your papers and…whatever this is right now. Shall we leave, professor Banner and Doctor Crowler?"

Banner said nothing as he left the Duel Arena, while Crowler, despite liking the dread of Jaden, was still sulking as he left the Duel Arena with Sheppard following behind him.

Chumley went towards Jaden, who was still crying anime tears, trying to comfort him into crying as he heard that today was Eggwich day, while Syrus was trying his best, while failing, to make his duel partner stop crying.

"Shall we go help him, he seems like he needs help?" asked Bastion as both Celina and Alexis stood up.

"Yes, I see why not." said Alexis as she and Bastion went towards Jaden.

Celina felt a vibration in her pocket, so she took out her phone and saw the contact name as "Lulu", "Oh sorry, my cousin is calling me, is it cool if I sit here for a sec?" They nodded as they went towards the middle of the Duel Arena. "Oh hey, Lulu, what's going on?"

"Oh, nothing much," she panted, indicating that she was running, "Remember a week ago when you told Yuto that he should tell Shay that he and I were dating?"

"Um, yeah? What's wrong?" she asked her cousin.

"Well, the thing is…" she didn't continue her sentence as Shay started screaming at a running Yuto.

"YUTO, YOU LITTLE BEEP!" that caught everyone's attention, including Jaden's, to Celina's older cousin, "YOU SON OF A BEEPING BEEP BEEP BEEP! I AM GONNA TEAR OF YOUR BEEP AND SHOVE OF RIGHT UP YOUR BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP AND THEN BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP ON YOUR BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP WITH BEEP BEEP BEEP IN THE BEEP BEEP AND BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP YOUR BEEP BEEP BEEP YOUR BEEP BEEP BEEP SO THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO BEEP SIDEWAYS!...BEEP."

"So yeah, that's how it is.. oh my GOD NOT THE SHOTGUN!" yelled Lulu as she cancelled the call.

"huh." that's all that Celina could say as Bastion called out, "Could you turn off the speaker phone, please?"

She turned towards Bastion, "It was not on speaker phone." Their jaws dropped, "Let's just pretend that didn't happen, okay?"

Everyone nodded to that.

Author's note:

Finally this duel and chapter is over! This was a big challenge for me to write, but a fun one. I loved writing the conversation and the characters' interaction with each other.

Yes, as you could read, I won't be doing the filler, but I will mention them and they will appear as a part of the chapters.

I decided to change the tag team to the Tyler Sisters, as I loved their characters in Arc V, and was the only saving grace of the XYZ arc and yes I made the clock guy their manager. They will appear later in the fic, but way later on, like the GX tournament and in season 4.

I decided to write the Obsidian/Kurosaki family and Yuto in this chapter, as I did put Rin and Yugo in the second chapter. If you have trouble with the dub names, just let me know so I can add their sub names in the author's note.

I do plan on making a Bastion focused chapter, in fact that is the next chapter so look forward to that, and I do have plans on his decks.

I made up and altered the effects of the cards of this more than any other duel I might ever do, since Roids and Amazoness are such bad archetypes that I had to so they could stand a chance in this fic.

Tribal Energy: A card that gives them more advantage in the duel by drawing more cards.

Rocketroid: A monster that could destroy a monster once per turn, and for the sole reason to give Syrus a rocket monster.

Roid Emergency: A card that summons Roid monsters from the deck, not broken at all since they summon Roid monsters.

Amazoness Tribute: Based on Mystic Wok, but for Amazoness.

Roid Equipment: To give Roid's some firepower.

Elemental HERO Roidman: The big one, the card I was most excited to make and the most proud of. This card was inspired by HEROroid in Tag Force: Heroes and Villains, so I wanted to make my own spin on it. I agreed with the author that a card like that should have been a combination of Roid's and Heroes, instead of Tempest on a scooter. So I made this and the effect might make another appearance, who knows.
