Chapter 1034
Sent Her To Heaven
John made it back to his room without any other interruptions. He decided to clean up and call it a night. He was going to call the lab and see what was happening with Cammy but decided against it. He didn't want to create any additional problems. He would speak with Cameron about it when she got back. He would also speak with Vanna and find out her version of the story later. He doubted they would be the same.
He reflected on the wild night he'd spent with Cameron. He wished they could be like this all the time. He knew they couldn't. There was a war to fight and it took its toll on all of them. He knew the war took its toll on Cameron more than anyone. He really didn't know what would happen later on.
John cleaned up and briefly checked in with John Henry one more time. Events in the lab were unchanged. There was no one headed for his room. He told John Henry not to worry about that anymore.
He climbed into bed and went over some reports. He didn't know how long Cameron would be tied up. He anticipated being with her one more time before he actually went to bed. He became very sleepy as he waited….
Earlier:
Cammy became upset with all of the attention. There was nothing wrong with her. She just forgot to get dressed. She looked at herself again and she was still naked. It was still a little puzzling to her.
Sheila thought things had gone on long enough. She'd noticed what Cam checked earlier. She was glad she hadn't completed the 'procedure' she was going to. She really didn't see what the big deal was when she did it. It was very common now for human females. They paid a lot of money for the procedure. If she hadn't stopped when Cammy told her to, things would be a little different right now. It would have involved a little more explaining than she would have been comfortable with.
"Cammy, you need to get dressed, love." Sheila said.
Sheila was still naked as well.
"I'm fine." Cammy said. "I was just worried about Savannah. I was in a hurry. It's no big deal. I'm fine."
Cameron was sure there was more in play here. She looked at Sheila for a long moment and wondered what she'd actually done to Cammy.
"I want both of you to get dressed now." Cameron said.
Sheila faced Cameron as she put her underwear on.
"Oops." Sheila said as she removed them again. "These are Cammy's."
Cammy looked around the interior of the lab. It wasn't where she wanted to be right now. She looked at the pile of clothes.
"Maybe I should go back with Sheila to her room." Cammy said. "Or she can come to mine. I don't want to be here."
Cammy didn't see any reason why she needed to be in the lab in the first place. There was nothing wrong with her. She was fine.
Vanna was sure something was off. Things weren't right. She couldn't place what the problem was but she knew that there was a problem.
"You need to get dressed." Vanna said. "Cam and Cameron are going to check you over."
Cammy looked at Cam and Cameron. She turned her attention to Vanna. That was who she wanted to look her over. She would like her to do it before she got dressed.
"I want you to do it." Cammy said. "You're 'Savannah'."
The girls all looked at each other.
It appeared that Cammy mistook Vanna for Savannah. That wasn't a good sign.
Cameron knew she was going to be there awhile after that comment. Something was wrong with Cammy. They needed to get her straightened out. She wondered if this is what she looked like when these things happened to her. It seemed very disturbing, especially since Cammy insisted she was 'fine'. It was what she always said too.
She also understood that everyone worked very carefully with her when problems like this occurred. They didn't turn away from her. They turned towards her. They all came to help her. She thought about John alone in his room. Maybe she could send one of the other girls there to comfort him. Right now she was needed here. Cammy was 'her'.
Cam and Vanna talked to Cammy as she dressed.
Sheila was about ready to put her top on.
Cameron didn't like the current state of affairs. She knew there was someone there who knew more than they said. She wanted some answers. She knew how to get them. She quickly reached over and grabbed Sheila's left nipple ring and pulled her over to stand in front of her.
Sheila needed to hurry before Cameron ripped it out. She was sure Cameron was going to do that.
Cameron released it.
Sheila was going to protest but could see Cameron was steamed.
Cameron looked more than upset right now. She suspected there was some type of foul play involved.
"What did you do to her?" Cameron asked.
Sheila didn't feel she'd actually done anything 'wrong'. She'd stopped before she'd started with any modifications. It'd been pretty close.
"I didn't do anything bad to her. I didn't abuse her." Sheila said. "I swear it."
Cameron reached out again. She didn't believe her. She knew how to make Sheila talk.
Sheila backed up. She saw Cameron was going to get more 'extreme' with her latest attempt. She didn't want Cameron to punish her. She was sure Cameron would. She looked really upset now.
Cameron wanted a better answer and she wanted it now.
"Tell me what really happened." Cameron said. "I know there is more to the story. Let me have it, all of it."
Sheila decided she'd better come clean. Maybe something was wrong with Cammy and it was her fault.
"I sent her to heaven and kept her there." Sheila quickly said.
Cameron lowered her hand. She didn't see why that would be a problem. Wait, it must be something more than that. It made her wonder what the duration of the event was. That might make a difference in the overall picture of what happened.
"What did you do?" Cameron asked. "How long was it for?"
Sheila knew it was for ninety three minutes and twelve seconds. She didn't want to admit to that. Not yet anyway.
"It was about an hour." Sheila said. "Maybe it was a little bit longer."
Cameron tilted her head slightly.
"Do you mean it was continuous?" Cameron asked.
Sheila looked down. She knew this was all headed back to her doorstep.
"Yes." Sheila said.
Cameron never heard of anything like that before. Cammy's chip was probably jammed with sensations. There was nowhere for that much input to go.
"You've overloaded her." Cameron said. "She was never designed to function like that."
Cameron was sure that Cammy suffered from sensory input overload. It briefly crossed her mind that it would be a wonderful way to 'go' if Sheila would've continued and pushed her even further.
Sheila only did it to help Cammy. It wasn't done to hurt her. It was done to take her mind off of her problems. Now it may have put her out of her mind. She wanted to try to explain her actions.
"She felt very down." Sheila said. "I wanted to make her forget about her worries."
Cameron could see what Sheila tried to do now.
"You wanted Cammy to want you instead of Savannah." Cameron said.
Sheila stood straight and faced Cameron. She didn't feel this was her fault at all. She felt it was actually Cameron's fault because she was going to take Savannah away from Cammy. That was the issue that caused Cammy all of the stress.
"I wanted Cammy to know I would be there for her, when YOU take Savannah away from her." Sheila said. "I wanted her to KNOW there would be someone for her. I don't want her to feel all alone. I don't want her to feel like she was pushed away. I don't want Cammy to feel that she isn't good enough."
Cameron liked Sheila to challenge her. It showed Sheila believed in what she did. It showed why she did it. Those last words from Sheila really resonated with her. They also left her with an uncomfortable feeling. She knew all of those feelings. She knew them very well. She wished that she didn't know them at all.
"You wanted to show Cammy you could do something for her that Savannah couldn't." Cameron said.
Sheila wanted Cammy to know she loved her. She wanted to show her and prove it to her.
"Yes." Sheila said. "I love her."
Cameron could see Sheila didn't understand Savannah's love.
"You wanted Cammy to believe that a machine was better than a human. Don't you understand that Savannah's love is more than 'physical'?" Cameron asked. "Savannah's love is emotional. It's pure and real. It's honest and sweet. The 'physical' aspect is only a small part of her love. It's one way to express that love. Savannah will never love Cammy less, even if they were never together again physically. You don't understand the depth of real love from a human. They can love someone through space and time even if they've never touched them and never will. It doesn't matter, they still love them the same."
Vanna watched everything unfold. She didn't want the situation to escalate further. She came over and took Cameron's left hand. It started to glitch.
"Cameron, please stop this." Vanna said. "Cammy is going to be fine. She just needs a little time to process everything."
Cameron doubted that. She knew how these things expanded until she didn't know who or what she was sometimes.
"We need to check her out." Cameron said.
Vanna could see Cameron still glared at Sheila. She didn't want any problems in the lab.
"Maybe Sheila should return to her room." Vanna said.
Cameron looked at Vanna and then at Sheila.
"Go." Cameron said to Sheila. "We'll discuss this later."
Sheila put her top on and left. She knew Cameron wasn't done with her yet. She decided to offer Cameron the use of her chassis instead of 'punishment'. Maybe if Cameron was allowed to strip away the virginity of her chassis, she would go easy on her. She believed that was something pretty significant to allow another to have in their place. it was something that rightfully belonged to her and she would let Cameron take it from her as herself.
Cameron looked away from the lab door that Sheila exited from. She'd been thinking that now would be a good time to ask to use Sheila's chassis for an evening with John. Her chip would be in Sheila's chassis and Sheila's chip would be sitting on the workbench until she was done using Sheila's chassis. She wasn't about to let Sheila have access to her chassis and sheath.
She could feel the excitement build in her. Sheila's chassis was still untouched by a male. That 'first experience' would be hers. She could finally provide John with what she was unable to do before. She still wasn't sure what Future John had done with her in her future before he sent her back. Why did he need to erase many of her files? Why would he need to do that to anyone? Vanna's words brought her back to now.
"That's a really nice dress you have on, Cameron." Vanna said.
Cameron smiled at Vanna.
"Thank You." Cameron said.
Vanna seldom wore any fancy clothes. She tried to dress plain. She didn't like to be noticed. To get noticed was bad. Once someone noticed you, they wanted you. At some point there would be a gun to the side of her head or a knife to her throat as they made her lay down and then used her. It was usually over with fairly quickly. Then they were gone. All that was left was the mess and the further loss of whatever dignity she might have left.
"I wish I could look that good in a dress like that." Vanna said.
Cameron quickly calculated what Vanna would look like wearing it.
"You would look beautiful in it." Cameron said. "You would look elegant and glamorous. You would look stunning."
Cameron looked over at Cam as she worked with Cammy. She'd connected Cammy into the server.
Vanna wanted to reaffirm Cameron's beauty.
"You're much more beautiful than I could ever be." Vanna said.
Cameron wanted to do something nice for Vanna. It went back to the first time that she'd seen Vanna put on her swimsuit and she got a good look at her naked body. It always bothered her that it was flawed. It bothered her even more to know it was purposely damaged by someone else.
"Vanna, I've looked into something for years now." Cameron said. "I've checked with several cosmetic surgeons myself…."
Vanna wondered why Cameron would need to talk to a cosmetic surgeon. Resequencing could take care of any issue or damage she received, even with a sheath graft. They'd done it before. She wondered if Cameron wanted to get breast implants. She hoped not. She liked Cameron just the way she was.
"What did you check with them about?" Vanna asked.
Cameron was aware it was a touchy subject for Vanna.
"It was about you." Cameron said. "They can fix your blemishes."
Vanna's hand dropped down to her lower abdomen and over her scar. It was currently covered by clothing but it didn't matter. It was still there. She actually felt a little defensive now. She couldn't help who she'd become from who she was.
"We've discussed this before." Vanna said. "This is who I am now."
Cameron learned over time that it wasn't about who somebody was now. It was about what they wanted for themselves. There were many motivating factors involved. Some of them could be very negative. She understood in extreme cases it could even lead to self disfigurement and even self termination.
"You're more than that." Cameron said. "I understand now. It's a form of 'self punishment'."
Vanna already felt defensive. She didn't really need to hear it. She wasn't even sure why Cameron said that.
"What?" Vanna asked.
Cameron considered leaving her sheath damaged before from plasma burns and complete tissue loss. It would have been done to 'punish' herself. When someone doesn't feel good about an event or something bad happened, they may feel it's their fault somehow. If it's their fault, they should be punished. They should be punished even if they needed to punish themselves.
"You've never looked into getting it fixed because you want to remind yourself of the things that 'happened'." Cameron said.
Cameron didn't think a physical reminder was necessary. The mental and emotional scars should be deep enough to do that on their own.
Vanna wasn't sure anymore. There were a lot of reasons behind the decision to do nothing. She understood the biggest decision of that was the decision to do nothing. That was a decision itself. It was a choice.
"I don't want to talk about this." Vanna said.
Vanna needed to deal with the issues for over half of her life.
Cam worked with Cammy and saw Vanna was upset talking to Cameron. It looked like Vanna needed her assistance. It was her job to protect Vanna and right now it looked like Vanna needed protecting from Cameron.
Cam left Cammy talking in mid-sentence and came over to see what was causing Vanna to feel distressed. She could tell when Vanna was hurting. She was clearly hurting right now and Cameron was the one responsible.
"What's happening here?" Cam asked.
Cameron didn't say anything.
Cammy demanded to know.
"What have you done to Vanna?" Cam asked.
Vanna looked like she was about to cry. She didn't want any trouble.
"It was nothing." Vanna said. "Let's go help Cammy."
Vanna looked back at Cameron once as she went to assist Cammy.
Cam stood in front of Cameron. She wanted some answers.
"What did you say to her?" Cam asked.
Cameron didn't feel she'd done anything wrong. She didn't mean to hurt Vanna.
"I told her I found the best people to help fix her scar." Cameron said.
Cam didn't care for Cameron's insensitivity.
"You know it has a lot of meaning for her." Cam said.
Cameron ran millions of scenarios over the years. Ten to one they came back with the same result. She didn't like what the result was ninety-one point three percent of the time.
"Vanna thinks if she gets rid of the scar that she'll lose Allison." Cameron said.
Cam wasn't sure she heard Cameron correctly. She quickly replayed the files. She replayed them thirty three times before she spoke.
"What?" Cam asked.
Cameron felt that she'd determined what the actual reason was. The same results always came back no matter how many different times she calculated every possible scenario.
"Vanna thinks the only reason Allison is still with her is because of the scar she received freeing Allison." Cameron said. "She wants Allison more than anything. She's deathly afraid that Allison will move on once there's nothing to tie them together."
Cam hoped there wasn't some problem with Cameron now. She didn't agree with Cameron's determination.
"Where's this coming from?" Cam asked. "Allison and Vanna love each other."
Cam really wondered if Cameron was about to malfunction as well now. She saw the aggressive way she'd treated Sheila a few minutes ago. She was about to damage Sheila's sheath earlier.
Cameron looked at Cam.
"I didn't mean anything 'bad'." Cameron said.
Cameron went over to Vanna and took her hand. She led her away from Cammy. Cam went back over to Cammy at that point.
"I'm sorry." Cameron said.
Vanna looked a little hurt but her eyes were filled with love.
"Oh, Cameron…." Vanna said as she gave Cameron a tight hug.
Cameron felt bad now that she'd upset and offended Vanna. She didn't like when her sheath was damaged. It made her feel very bad about herself. She didn't want anyone to see her when she was damaged, especially in her private areas.
"I didn't mean anything bad." Cameron said. "I apologize."
Cameron hugged Vanna back just as close.
"I know." Vanna said. "Let's go check on Cammy."
Vanna reached out and took Cameron's hand this time and led her back to Cammy.
Cam was pleased to see Vanna smiling again as she led Cameron back.
Cameron wanted to get things wrapped up so she could get back to John. The quickest way to do that was to 'go in' and inspect Cammy's program herself.
"Plug me into the server." Cameron said. "I'm going in to check Cammy over."
Cam didn't want Cameron to experience any further trauma or difficulties.
"I can do that, Cameron." Cam said. "I think things are under control."
Cameron took the issue very personally. She knew what it was like, even if there were large segments of it that she didn't remember. She knew what it was like to be lost within 'herself'.
"Cammy is 'me'." Cameron said. "I want to help her. I know these things happen to me sometimes. I hate them."
Cammy looked a little better now, it seemed to please her when Vanna returned to where she was at.
"Savannah is here with me." Cammy said. "I'm fine."
Cammy smiled at Vanna.
Vanna quickly looked at Cameron and Cam before she turned her attention back to Cammy.
"Cammy, I'm Vanna." Vanna said.
Vanna's answer seemed to upset and enrage Cammy.
"NO!" Cammy said.
Cameron saw Cammy reach out to scan Vanna. She knew if Cammy did that she would ask about the pregnancy. Savannah was pregnant with Vanna's child. Vanna was sterile. That would make Vanna feel bad. Vanna was unaware Savannah carried her child currently. She was going to grab Cammy's hand to stop her.
Vanna lifted her shirt and pulled the edge of her pants down. She showed Cammy her scar.
Cammy's hand stopped before she could scan Vanna.
"I'm sorry." Cammy said. "I don't know what I was thinking."
Cameron knew this was going to be a long night. She would need to stay to make sure Cammy didn't think Vanna was Savannah. It was bound to create more problems for her no matter what happened.
She knew Savannah was going to have to make a choice to stay with Young Allison like she'd promised or come back to be with Cammy, with 'her' in reality. It was an unplanned test of sorts.
Cameron knew Savannah's increasing endeavors were leaving her spread pretty thin. She didn't like the fact that CamNet was able to sink her hooks into Savannah. She was sure that the entire episode was orchestrated by CamNet to do that very thing.
John Henry watched everything in the lab go down.
To watch the girls interact always fascinated him.
He monitored all the other things happening in his system at the same time. The events in the lab were a distraction.
Cameron, Cammy and Cam were all plugged into the server. Vanna was there with them. She looked very happy now being with three 'Camerons'. He wasn't sure what Cameron did to upset her earlier. It seemed resolved now.
It took him a long time to understand the negative impact of what people could do to other people or machines just by using words. His interaction with Cameron showed him how she was previously negatively treated by everyone she was associated with who knew that she was a Terminator. There were many mean and rude comments made to her and about her. He was aware that humans were even more adversely affected by those same events.
John Henry thought about unplugging and heading down to the lab so he could check things out for himself.
He checked all the monitors around the base. Everyone was asleep or in the lab right now. John Henry unplugged and headed for the lab. He thought John would be OK. John did tell him not to worry about anything else. He wasn't going to.
There was movement in the hall soon after John Henry walked away.
He'd missed it in his haste to check out the girls in the lab.
John dozed in and out of sleep.
He thought of calling the lab or John Henry for an update but didn't.
He pushed the reports aside and turned off the light. He was asleep in no time.
John awoke once. He thought Cameron was back but the room was quiet. He wanted to await her return. He looked forward to knocking off at least one more before he went to bed for real. He was pretty sleepy right now. He dozed on and off but overall remained awake.
At some point he felt a warm body next to him. It felt softer for some reason. They started kissing. He thought the kissing was very passionate and hungry.
She pulled John over on top of her.
There was a gasp as John mounted her. He felt her nails dig in a little on his back. It was smoother but tighter than normal, at least for this position. The kissing intensified. He was very excited at the change in technique and style. This was really getting wild. She held him close, he could feel some faint dampness to her sheath, which was unusual. The depth of the kissing and motion increased and there was something else. He could hear labored breathing and he could feel a pounding heartbeat.
She let out a small gasp, her soft sweating body stiffened slightly. He felt her nails dig in his back a little harder and then she relaxed….
He'd just sent her to heaven.
John knew then, it wasn't 'Cameron'.
He made it one second later.
Sent Her To Heaven
There is the self
There is another
Does one really care
About the other
When things start out
Each is the other's world
In just a very short time
Things become confused and whirled
Each wants the other to please
Some will bend and sacrifice
Others think of many ways
To manipulate and entice
Some still hang on
They can't help but linger
They are blind to when
The other gives them the finger
Does it really matter in the end
To remember when times were good
How you sent her to heaven
Or was that just another falsehood
Nobody
