What Is Downstairs ?

In the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, footsteps could be heard as Hill's boots made contact with the metallic floor beneath her feet. She soon made her way into a room full of screens, before these screens stood Nick Fury who stared at multiple screens with his one eye wide open.

"You called for me sir" Hill spoke as she was behind Nick Fury. "How is your investigation going?" he questioned not turning round to face her.

"I've narrowed down the list sir to but a few and I am confident that by the end of the month I will know who Batman really is."

"Hmm, in just one week, one week events have occurred in so many places all at once. Stark and his friend fought against Ivan Vanko destroying the expo and strengthening the government's desire for Stark tech."

"In New Mexico a God descended and had a family dispute which flattened an entire town, and in our very own Harlem to monsters had a brawl destroying more than a block and causing countless casualties but the one I found most interesting is the fact that the Batman just broke someone out of prison and left a massive mess for us in a field in Russia. Now how did I not find that out before anyone else when I have an agent supposed to be keeping an eye on him."

Nick spoke turning around with his last words, Hill's eyes widened as she looked to a screen where the Batman could be seen in a Soviet prison combating its guards in a manner that awed her.

"I'm sorry sir but I promise I will find him"

"Good because he was just flagged as an international criminal and it is imperative we find him first before any other." Fury spoke before turning back to face his screens, "Sir do you still plan to make Batman an avenger?" Hill asked Fury her question.

"Find him Hill, that's all you need to concern yourself with." Fury dismissed Hill with his words refusing to turn to face her.

Hill bowed her head before turning to leave.

At the King Manor on the other hand Jeffery King introduced the newest addition of the family to Sebastian.

"It is a pleasure to meet you miss Yelena" Sebastian spoke with a grandfatherly smile on his face as he looked down at Yelena.

"Miss Yelena, I could get used to that." Yelena spoke up causing Jeff to chuckle at her antics. "Sebastian please help show her to the room"

"Sure master Jeffery, oh and miss Gwen is waiting for you downstairs" Sebastian responded emphasising on the word downstairs.

Yelena took notice of this as well as the look shared between Jeff and Sebastian and couldn't help but ask, "What's downstairs? huh is the Batcave isn't it, you actually have a Batcave."

Jeffery cut Yelena who was getting more excited with each word she said, "Yes, you will get to see it later though" ignoring the pout that formed on Yelena's face at his words, he looked at Sebastian who led the young lady to her room.

Jeff soon made it to the Batcave where Gwen was waiting, "I heard you were back" Gwen spoke as she saw Jeff "Here I am, what happened in my absence?"

With that Gwen began to narrate the events that had happened mainly being Iron Man 2 as well as the events of the incredible Hulk which Jeff was surprised to find out that Gwen actually took part in the battle of Harlem.

Although she was irrelevant in the actual battle she did actually save countless lives making the name Ghost Bat become even more famous in the streets of New York.

After looking through the files Batman got a scowl etched in his face, with these events happening including the one in New Mexico which S.H.I.E.l.D tried to hide just proved the first major event of the MCU the Battle of New York would be happening in a few months.

But it wasn't all bad news as he found something he spent close to a year searching for, The Tesseract AKA the Space Stone.

And according to the files S.H.I.E.L.D had started plans to research on it by inviting Dr. Eric Selvig.

"Bingo" Jeff uttered the words as the location was displayed before him.
