Hope y'all are have an alright day! Mine was... interesting, but I'm trying to be okay with all the dramatic life changes and such.

Monday brought a wave of excitement as Hermione took the Floo to the Granger Memorial School for the first time. The building has once been an old cotton factory that had been abandoned in the seventies. She walked around and was excited to see how open it was. The old factory floor had been emptied of machinery years ago, but there was a scaffold that went around the entire space.
Remus was standing in the centre of the space with a large roll of paper under his arm. Since living with Andromeda and the resurgence of the Black family, there had been some dramatic changes in her former professor. He was now stylishly shabby in his professorial outfits. Not only that, but his formerly gaunt and beaten down appearance had shafted with regular food. He'd gained quite a bit of muscle under his brown blazer.
"Don't think I don't see you checking Remus out," Theo murmured against her ear.
"Something about a naughty bookish professor," she whispered back winking at Theo.
"Hmmmm," he said, kissing her cheek, "Draco doesn't really give off bookish, does he?"
"No, but you…" she trailed off.
"Hello!" Remus called when he spotted them.
"Hello Remus," Theo called, hand resting on the bottom of Hermione's back, his pinky, brushing the waistband of her skirt "we're rather excited to see your plans."
"I was hoping your elves would help us with the structure?" he asked, unrolling the paper and clearing a table to spread it over.
By the time they were standing over the table, Hermione heard Harry and Neville come in, discussing some new wand technique. When the five of them made it to the centre of the room, Remus began conjuring models of the vision he was hoping to achieve with the space. It had a very rustic modern vibe to it, definitely a nod to the Muggleborn origins of its namesake.
Hermione grinned when she saw each part of the school. It was exactly what she hoped for in the school. Each classroom would be made to their specifications, the entire top floor would be converted into a massive greenhouse with glass around almost the whole thing, including the floors, which would help let light into the space as well as create a fascinating visual of the root systems along the ceiling. Hermione was ecstatic about the projection and was already questioning Remus on the potential for expansion and office space.
She heard Theo call the elves and showed them the blueprint for the space. While her and Remus wandered around the space, she vaguely heard the elves squeaking with excitement about the new project.
After a few moments, Neville jogged over to join them, to discuss further plans. Theo called Remus over to discuss some of the measurements leaving Hermione with her oldest friend. They hadn't been able to spend time with just the two of them since he found out that she was still alive.
"I have to say while I'm chuffed to see you, although I'm a bit bitter about the ruse," he said softly.
She felt tears pooling in her eyes, "I know I tried so hard to include you in the original group, but no one could justify it. I knew you'd see right through me though, even if I didn't mean to."
He pulled her into a fierce hug. "I'm glad you're still here," he said into her hair. "I was about to be gutted on your birthday. I was planning a whole memorial party for you, which I'll obviously still have, but now I won't be quite so sad about the whole event."
"You'll have to tell me all about how it goes, as I don't think my alter ego would be invited to such an event, regardless of how welcome she's been at all the other Order events," Hermione said with a smile. "And you'll have to actually come have breakfast with me like always."
"I think you'd be surprised," Neville said mysteriously.
The rest of the day was spent discussing final plans with the Nott elves and watching as they began to put the space together. They projected that the whole project would be done by her birthday on Saturday and they'd be able to open the school on the following Monday. Hermione felt yet another bubble of excitement at the prospect. This felt like exactly what she was meant to be doing.
