HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMIONE!
Enjoy a LOT of happenings in this one!
2/4 for today!
Saturday, September 19, 1998
"Good morning, birthday girl," Theo murmured against the back of her neck that morning. He was practically glued to her back, holding one of her legs over his hip. Draco was between her thighs, ghosting kisses towards her centre.
"Please," she whined.
"Who are we to deny the Golden Girl on her Golden Birthday?" Theo chuckled. "You heard the Princess, Draco. She can have anything she wants today."
Hermione moaned loudly when Draco's talented tongue began to run along her folds. Theo wrapped his arm around her neck, holding her against him firmly. She could feel him poking between her legs. "Do you want me to fill you up, love?" he whispered.
"Please, Theo," she groaned. Draco pulled away and peered at them over Hermione's growing stomach. She could feel Theo smirk as he slowly thrust himself inside of her. Draco looked down, and watched, his mouth dropping in awe.
"Did we tell you to stop, amor?" Theo groaned. Hermione clenched around him when she heard his tone. Draco quickly moved back to lick at her clit. Theo hissed when Draco's tongue trailed up his cock. "Fuck he's so good at that."
Hermione couldn't even bear to speak. Theo reached for her breast and began to palm it through her lacy lingerie. "How does this feel, love?" Theo asked, licking a trail up her neck to behind her ear.
"So. Fucking. Good," she groaned. She reached down and held Draco's head against her. He sucked her clit into his mouth and she shrieked.
"Yes, that's it," Theo chuckled, "come for us."
When they'd finally made it downstairs, Jean shrieked and pulled her into a hug. "Look at my girl! Your golden birthday!" Hermione flushed, but Jean continued to coo about the big day. Hermione sat and enjoyed a breakfast that she was sure her parents made.
Around ten, Theo and Hermione got ready to attend the ribbon cutting for the Granger Memorial School. Draco was going to be under Harry's Invisibility Cloak so that he could attend as well. When they arrived at the school, Hermione gasped. Remus had set the party for noon, which gave Hermione, Draco and Theo a chance to peruse the whole school. Hermione was shocked. Upon entry, she saw the wood, metal and brick, looking freshly cleaned.
The upholstery was all periwinkle. The entry was lined with cubbies for each of the students. On the far wall was a set of large barn-style doors. They opened into a massive hall that was filled with circular tables that left no room for separation.
Along the walls of the hall were the classrooms, each with a sign posted outside. Hermione walked towards the Potions Classroom and grinned when she saw the bright and airy space. It was so easy to make a Potion's classroom feel dark and dingy, but the elves had worked with Draco to create a space that had proper ventilation. The lights could be dimmed for potions that required a darker environment. Hermione looked over her shoulder at Draco who looked pleased with the design.
"What do you think, Professor Malfoy," she teased. "Could you see yourself here after the war?"
He blinked at her, "Let's get through the War before we start giving me teaching positions for small children, darling."
Theo just rolled his eyes and bounced towards the charms classroom. The classroom was beautiful, it had an area for practising the charms as well as an area for lectures. Theo stood at the podium and began to pace around in a way that was reminiscent of Flitwick.
They walked from classroom to classroom, eventually ending up in the Greenhouse that covered the whole ceiling. The glass floors were made of two pieces of glass with about 30 cm (12 in) between them. This gap was filled with root systems. Lots of light still got through to the hall below, creating a beautiful effect.
Neville was already bent over a plant bed, cooing at some of the plants, but stood quickly when he saw them. He ran to Hermione and wrapped her in a huge hug. "Happy birthday!" he said excitedly.
"Thank you, Nev," she said with a grin.
"I'll get you your gift later, but for now," he said looking down at his watch, "I think it's time we go down and start this party.
Hermione and Theo donned their disguises as Draco slipped on the invisibility cloak. Hermione followed Neville down the stairs, holding onto Theo's arm the whole way. Hermione was shocked to see just how many people were in the room.
Most of the Order was present as well as some of the more Light leaning neutral families based off of the lists that Hermione had compiled with the help of her husbands and Ginny. They'd used one of Narcissa's party planning tricks and the invites were used as a portkey that brought the guests into the main hall.
Hermione and Theo settled in the back of the room, Draco managed to wedge himself between Hermione's e and the wall so she could lean against his body while they stood together.
Remus stood in front of the whole crowd, "As many of you know, today is Hermione Granger's Golden Birthday. She would have turned 19 today. I had the absolute honour of teaching Miss Granger when she was still in school. I've never met a young woman thirstier for knowledge than her.
"As we open the doors to The Granger Memorial School on Monday, we also begin a new wave of the Order of the Phoenix. We will reach out to Muggleborn families starting at a younger age. We're hoping that ingratiating young people earlier will create a more cohesive future.
"On Monday any student who wasn't allowed to finish their education , or feels as though they need a refresher on some of their skills can attend school. All that is required is that they sign the roster and accept a portkey that will let them arrive on time for class.
"Please enjoy the refreshments provided and stop by the different classrooms to meet our newest professors."
A resounding applause started and echoed through the great space. Remus blushed a little as he'd never loved the spotlight. Hermione and Draco made their way to the Potions Classroom. Stamped next to the door was a plaque that bore the name Prof. Hedy Sitoe-Almeida. She trailed her fingers along the plaque and shivered as she felt Draco trail his fingers up her back.
She stood at the front of her room and proceeded to greet each guest and introduce herself to the future students. Luna Lovegood came bounding in after a while and hugged her.
"How can you always tell?" Hermione hissed.
"You, Draco and Theo have such clear auras, and the bond connecting you is always so vibrant," she said in her airy voice. "How are you, Draco?" she continued, turning to where Draco was perched on the edge of her desk.
He groaned softly, "I'm alright, Luna. How are the Wrackspurts today?"
"Abundant," she said trailing off. "So you'll be my potions professor?"
"I didn't realise you were still in potions," Hermione said, surprised.
"Oh yes, I'm in most of the classes, although Potions hasn't ever been my best subject," Luna said dreamily. Moments later she floated out of the classroom, going off to who knows where.
The rest of the afternoon flew by in conversations with different people, she spotted one person who was also on the Hogwarts Board of Governors, who looked impressed with their work.
When they arrived home, the elves had decked out most of the house in golden streamers and decorations. Ginny, Blaise, and Millie were sitting on the couch grinning at her. "I recognize that you can't drink on your birthday," Ginny said when Hermione had settled in, "but we've planned an exceptional dinner as well as some activities for later on."
"Sounds perfect," Hermione said, "I wish-" suddenly the Floo lit up and Neville, Harry and Luna burst through.
"Sorry we're late," Harry said, "we got a bit caught up at the School. So many people wanted to talk to us about how things are going."
"You know I wouldn't miss your party," Neville said with a grin, "I didn't even give you your gift yet!"
Hermione followed the group to the formal dining room where Jean and Richard were already waiting. As they were eating, she looked around the room, at these people who she truly loved and felt at home for the first time in a long time.
"I'm glad Draco snuck me out," Ginny said after a while. "I wouldn't want to miss your birthday. I know it's only been 19 days, but I really miss you. Christmas Holidays are so far away!"
"I'm glad you're here too, at least Mum being here has helped, but we're still outnumbered!" Hermione huffed goodnaturedly.
"Yeah and when Scorp arrives it still won't change anything," Ginny said, elbowing her in the arm lightly.
When the food was finished, Lulu brought out a cake so they could sing to her. Then it was time for presents. Neville had gotten her a plant that was supposed to help with any irritation from breastfeeding. Harry got her a new set of quills and a notebook that only she could open. Millie and Blaise had worked together to get her the Compendium on Creature Law Around the World, a book that she'd been lusting after for ages.
Luna got her a talisman that "shields you from the Snuffelumps who cause undue stress." Knowing that Luna was usually more aware than she let on, Hermione agreed to wear it, usually her trinkets did something close to what she said, and if not, it was a kind gesture from a good friend.
Her father stood and used his "magic" to levitate a large present into the room. Hermione looked at them curiously. She opened it and saw that it was the bassinet that her grandfather had carved by hand from Barbados Cherry Wood. Her name had been carved in the side with her birthdate below.
"It's time to pass this on to you, I carved in Scorpius' name, but we're now just waiting on his birthdate," he said with a smile.
"Oh dad!" she said, standing and pulling him into a hug.
Jean cleared her throat and handed Hermione a basket. "I made the basket with some grass I found outside and filled it with some things I've made in the last month or so. There is also your baptismal gown in there. I'm not sure if you're planning on…"
Hermione wrapped her arms around her. "Thank you so much you two. This is truly the best gift ever."
"Well those are more for Scorpius, so we wanted to make sure we got you something too," Richard said, handing her a package that looked suspiciously like a book.
Hermione opened the packaging and gasped. In front of her was a very old book. Traditions magiques de la Martinique was something that she'd read about in her research, but hadn't been able to find it anywhere.
"We've had it for ages," Jean said sheepishly, "we were going to give it to you as a graduation gift. It was quite confusing when we didn't remember you, but I knew it was important so I never got rid of it."
Hermione was openly weeping at this point. Jean and Richard wrapped her in a hug. Finally she felt like all of the barriers between them had fallen. She was home again.
After a few minutes, Theo cleared his throat. "Our gift is a bit more personal, so we'll meet the rest of you in the lounge, feel free to indulge in whatever your heart's desire."
The group all dispersed towards the lounge and left Hermione, Draco, and Theo standing in the dining room. Draco took her hand and brought her outside. "We know that this year has been unexpected," Theo said softly, wrapping his arms around her from behind.
"But we don't want you to ever think that you're not our number one priority," Draco continued.
Draco dragged up Hermione's sleeve so that "Mudblood" was visible. Mostly she forgot about their scars. She was so enamoured with Draco that she barely noticed his matching scar.
"Draco and I have been working on some new magic," Theo said. "He's created a magical alternative to tattoo ink."
"I didn't want to get rid of mine," Draco said softly, "because every time I see it I'm reminded why I do all the things I do, but I know that you don't always feel the same way."
Theo rolled up his own sleeve. A tattoo appeared on his arm, the word "Blood Traitor," looked like it was carved into his arm in the same place as Draco and Hermione's, but surrounding it was a full sleeve's worth of tattoos.
"How have you hidden this?" she whispered, trailing her fingers along the words.
"We've had lots of practice with glamorous and you're very easy to distract when we have you in our bed, love," Theo said with a chuckle. Hermione flushed but nodded. She took in the tattoos that covered his arm.
Their three patronus' chased each other along the back of his forearm through a vineyard. His bicep was covered with the night sky as it looked over Martinique, the Draco constellation was sparkling in the sky. One of her curls was wrapped around his arm, it flexed and sparked just like her hair was wont to do. Across his wrist was written the Nott Family Motto: Solus mihi invidus obstat (Only the jealous person stands in my way). She could see the Scorpius constellation brightening in the sky.
"This is where I'll put Tharin's hunter after he's born," Theo said, pointing to a space close to his elbow. "And-And any other children we have."
Hermione swallowed heavily. She looked up at Draco who'd begun to pull up his own sleeve. Hermione immediately spotted her curl around his arm as well as their Patronus. Sanctimonia Vincet Semper was written on his wrist. A wreath of Narcissus flowers circled the "Blood Traitor." HIs bicep had Scorpius' constellation and a dragon flew through the sky. A bear lumbered to a stream that ran up the inside of his arm.
"For our Teddy Bear," Draco said with a wink. "I figure I can add Tharin walking by his side when the time comes."
Both of the pieces were so beautifully done, Hermione couldn't help holding back the tears. The magic that flowed through them was so beautiful. "I'd like one," she whispered.
"We'll have to wait until after Scorp," Theo said, "we haven't tested on anyone pregnant yet, but we can do it before Tharin if you'd like?"
"I'd love that. I'll have to start thinking about what I want to have."
"I have also toyed with creating a serum that will help dissolve your scar, but I won't be able to complete it until I'm done with my Apprenticeship. It's something I'm working with both Slughorn and my other teacher on."
"No," she said softly, "it's as much part of me as you are."
"Now don't go thinking that we didn't get you an actual present," Draco teased. He pulled out an envelope from behind his back.
She looked at the yellowing parchment and noticed that it'd already been opened.

Theo slid a key down her neck and over her breasts. "When this is all over we're going to take a long vacation, but one of our first stops is the Library of Alexandria," he said huskily against her neck.
She whipped her head back and forth. "Are you serious!?" she shrieked.
"Deadly," Draco said with a raised eyebrow.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and peppered kisses everywhere. After a moment she pulled Theo in and kissed him as well. "I love you both so much, you're the best husbands I could ever hope for."
Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think or if you have any thoughts about what might happen next!
