Chapter 1068
PIT Maneuver
Jesse was close to a 'finish' as she pleasured Claire. She'd already driven Claire over the top a half dozen times. Each one was a little more climatic than the one that preceded it. She could tell that Claire was in the zone. She worked a little harder and could feel her breathing stop as she sucked in a deep breath. Claire let out another squeal a few seconds later. It sent her over the top as well. She hadn't even needed to touch herself. She thought that was one of the best types of finish to have with absolutely no physical stimulation and still make it. Not just make it but make it wonderfully.
It was clear that Claire needed a break.
Jesse quickly moved up next to Claire. She watched her eyelids flutter for a few seconds. Her breathing was slow and labored. She'd left her hands on Claire in two places. She kept the stimulation going.
Claire was it a very far off place right now.
Jesse moved her head close to Claire's head and gave her a kiss.
There was little response.
Jesse deepened the kiss and she kept the stimulation going.
Claire soon became aware of exactly where Jesse's mouth had been moments ago. The thought seemed to fuel her inner fire and she responded deeply to the kiss.
Jesse finally paused as soon as Claire finished one more time.
"Relax, love, get some rest." Jesse said.
Claire was going to respond but somehow just couldn't think of the words right now. She laid her head back down on the pillow and tried to catch her breath.
Jesse gently stroked Claire's cheek with the back of her fingers until she finally drifted off to sleep.
She looked at Claire for a long moment to make sure that she was asleep. It appeared that she was. She rolled over to the side of the bed and took her phone out of her pants pocket. She wanted to call Gail but quickly realized that was a bad idea. She'd told Claire that it was just something that they needed to learn to deal with. She knew that wasn't entirely true. It wasn't something anyone ever got used to. It didn't matter if it was the future or the past or the present. It didn't matter when it was.
Jesse looked back at Claire. It looked like she was asleep. She didn't know how long that would be for. She wanted to find out what was going on with the operation and with Hanna and Gail. She could throw on some clothes and go to the Command Center and listen to what was happening. She could also go to the lab and turn on the computers there.
She looked down at her naked body. She wasn't sure if she wanted to put all of her clothing on. If she went to the lab, she really wouldn't need to put anything on. She swung her feet over the side of the bed. She looked at her clothes on the floor. What should she do?
Cameron closed in on the first 'security patrol' sedan. The SUV she drove sported a severely dented hood and roof. It was dark and it was doubtful anyone would notice. They were currently in a secluded area. The bigger worry was if the vehicles the team currently drove were identified when the alert was set out to send the 'security patrol' in the first place.
She currently drove the SUV that Cammy and Savannah arrived in. They were the second to last on the scene at the building itself. Cammy was parked next to the building at one point. Gail arrived last.
Cameron's SUV was the first one on the scene and Steve drove that SUV now. He was in a loose pursuit of a suspected Gray on a motorcycle. He followed them on a divergent parallel course. Hanna in the manned drone was in pursuit of the motorcycle and directed Steve where to go.
John worried about the low level drone maneuver. It dropped down lower than they'd ever operate at in the city to shield the SUV that Savannah was driving when the building exploded. It was literally in the middle of a city street a few feet off of the ground. Cameron was on the roof of the SUV and was spared damage because the drone acted as a shield for them.
He was aware that no one else was spotted on the street but that didn't mean there couldn't be people in other buildings. Even though the drones were equipped with the new quieter power plants, they still made a lot of noise up close. People in the distance may have been able to spot the drone when it dropped down and rose back up into the sky. It was dark out so they wouldn't have been able to get a good look at it or see it for very long.
"What is the fallout or feedback of the drone maneuver?" John asked.
John Henry was somewhat amused that there were several UFO or unidentified flying object reports.
"There have been three UFO reports." John Henry said. "I've handled all of them. They've all been suppressed."
John hoped it stayed that way.
"Nice." John said.
John Henry watched all internet traffic from the location.
"There hasn't been anything posted to the internet from the area." John Henry said.
Young Allison offered a suggestion as to why.
"That's because we're blocking all communications." Young Allison said.
John Henry had the blackout in place before the drone made its appearance.
"That's part of it." John Henry said.
Young Allison wondered where the calls came from.
"Who made the calls?" Young Allison asked.
John Henry noted some of the calls were from a few miles away.
"The calls were made outside of the blocked area." John Henry said.
Young Allison wanted more control over people reporting on them. She knew there were various ways to do that. Some of them might be a little more extreme than others but they would be effective. The anonymity of the Resistance came before anything else.
"Overload their phones." Young Allison said. "In the future do that with anyone who reports anything related to us no matter how insignificant it is. You've done that before for other things."
John wasn't so sure about that. That was bound to destroy more than a few personal phones that people carried.
"That may be extreme." John said.
Young Allison wasn't deterred by John's hesitation. She forged ahead and held her ground.
"CamNet will do it. John Henry will as well." Young Allison said. "It's what needs to be done now and in the future. We're going to protect the Resistance. Double the size of the 'black out' area as well in the future."
John wondered how he could have more 'influence' over Young Allison. He remembered his mother's words, that no man could control her either. He was pretty sure that only Savannah would be able to control her. He didn't know for how long.
Cameron made sure he knew in the future that Future Allison and Future Savannah along with Duplicate Cameron would all 'cut off' Future John when he upset one of them. They worked as a team to enforce the 'punishment', besides they all still could find comfort in each other. It was what they ALL preferred anyway.
John couldn't help but continue to steal glances at both Anna and Young Allison. He didn't want it to distract him from the current operation. There were three vehicles they were tracking and action was imminent on two of them. He really wanted to watch his favorite scenes from 'Pretty Baby' right now. He needed to focus and stop looking at Young Allison and Anna.
Savannah held her M4. She was ready to engage the targets. She wanted to make sure if there was any return fire on Cameron's vehicle that they would be able to suppress it.
"Drive right up to the vehicle when Cameron stops it." Savannah said.
Gail was worried about Savannah. She especially didn't want her hurt while she was responsible for her. CamNet sent her to help protect Savannah in the first place, not deliver her into danger.
"I'm going to keep you on the far side of it." Gail said. "You're not a Terminator."
Savannah knew Gail wanted to protect her, even if they were in the danger zone ready for combat. She decided to back Gail's play. Anything other than that would cause Gail problems.
"I'll back your play." Savannah said. "You will take the lead."
There was no need to force the issue. They would still get the job done.
Hanna followed the motorcycle from above in the manned drone. She wanted to make sure she wasn't being set up and led into an ambush. Most likely the motorcycle rider saw the drone or at least heard it earlier. If they were from the future, they'd know what it was, even if they'd only heard the sound.
She wanted to make sure the motorcycle rider couldn't call anyone to warn them or ask for assistance. John Henry should have everything jammed in the vicinity. She wanted to verify that fact.
"Are you jamming all communications as we go along?" Hanna asked.
John Henry followed standard procedure. He didn't think anything should be a problem.
"Yes." John Henry said. "The rider shouldn't have been able to communicate since before the building exploded."
Hanna was aware that one drone flew below her. She was pretty sure what it was there for.
"I have one drone flying five hundred feet below me now." Hanna said.
John Henry knew that the drone was being used as a 'sacrificial lamb' if the situation arose.
"CamNet has directed it to fly below you in case you're targeted or attacked." John Henry said. "If any type of heat seeking device is fired in your direction, the drone should be able to stop it. All of our drones are equipped with countermeasures."
Hanna knew that was Young Allison's doing. All the Terminators were aware that Savannah and Young Allison 'reached out' to several damaged drones in the past and assisted with their repair. That information was passed among all the drones and other captured HK equipment during updates. All the machines felt a personal loyalty to Savannah and Young Allison, the 'Chosen Ones'. Savannah personally assisted any Terminator that was damaged and always followed up on their repairs. She made sure there weren't any problems afterwards either.
The machines knew the 'Chosen Ones' were also the first two human children raised with a 'Metal upbringing', especially Young Allison. They all knew Young Allison was who Cameron was patterned after. John Connor – Future John chose 'Allison' and so did Skynet. She was also chosen by Savannah Weaver to be her mate. Allison Young must be special. She was chosen by everyone.
Hanna was a little worried at how distraught Claire was when she needed to leave. They were in the middle of pleasuring each other when she received the notification to take the manned drone up. She needed to stop what she was doing when she received the alert. She didn't think Claire should have been as upset as she was. She'd been out on a lot of operations previously. None of them were sudden like this though. Maybe that's what made it different. She'd accompanied Cameron along with Sheila and Ally on many of her 'off the books' operations. Claire was normally a sound sleeper. It wasn't too difficult for her to leave and head out. Holly could always visit Claire if she woke up and seemed concerned. Holly would just tell Claire that she was with Allison. It didn't seem to be a problem. Holly didn't mind to pull double duty between Allison and Claire if it was needed. She didn't know why but Cameron was adamant that Holly was to remain out of combat. Allison asked her on more than a few occasions if she knew what happened in Cameron's future. Allison knew that her program was copied onto Holly's chip. She was unaware of any such traumatic event to Holly. Allison was sure that something happened to Holly in Cameron's future when she was there. Holly always maintained that nothing happened to her. They were unaware of the 'temporal management' that was conducted to remove Holly before the damage actually occurred to her.
Young Allison tracked the three unfolding areas where action was about to occur.
"I think Steve needs to close up more." Young Allison said.
John looked at the satellite overlays. He wasn't sure why. He decided to ask.
"Is there something we're missing?" John asked.
Young Allison expected the motorcycle rider to try and pull a 'fast one'.
"If they saw or heard the drone and can't communicate with anyone, I think they're going to try and run or hide." Young Allison said. "If they head for a mall we'll lose them if Steve is too far behind. They'll be able to disappear either inside the mall and come out an alternate entrance or acquire another vehicle inside of the parking structure."
John could see that happening.
"That's a logical assumption." John Henry said.
Young Allison didn't like Steve alone without back up.
"Steve is alone on the ground. I want him to have additional assistance." Young Allison said.
John needed to commit more resources.
"We need a few more Terminators out." John said.
He agreed with Young Allison about that. He was also aware that the reason there were all the Terminators in play now was because of her setting things into motion while he'd hesitated and thought this would only be a simple recon.
John Henry worked on doing just that.
"We have it." John Henry said. "I see some Terminators have been redirected by CamNet."
Young Allison knew that Cameron would want to interrogate the motorcycle rider that almost blew her up.
"Cameron will want the motorcycle rider." Young Allison said.
John heard that. He wasn't going to dispute it.
"Is the motorcycle rider a Terminator?" John asked.
"Unknown." John Henry said. "It's possible."
Anna studied the close up drone images.
"It may be a female or a female Terminator." Anna said.
John figured that would anger Cameron even more.
"I think if that's the case, Cameron will really want to get them and have a 'discussion' with them." John said.
Nobody knew what Cameron did with all the female Terminators that were captured. She controlled all of them. They all figured some of them worked clandestinely for Cameron. Some may even operate with a copy of her program. They could be in the past, the present or the future. It was a taboo subject.
It was clear to all of them that female Terminators were superior to male Terminators for infiltration. Female Terminators could get closer to both male and female targets than a male Terminator could.
Cameron was tired of waiting. It was time for action.
Cameron glanced at Cammy.
"Are you ready?" Cameron asked.
Cammy looked back at where Gail and Savannah were behind them. She could see they were closing up on them in anticipation of the 'take down'.
"Yes." Cammy said. "Let's try and take them before Savannah arrives. They're only seconds behind us."
Cameron spotted the occupants in the target vehicle.
"There are only two people in the car. That's one for each of us." Cameron said.
Cammy anticipated how she would take her target. Since she would take the passenger, she would need to get to the other side of the vehicle quickly. She planned to do a leg slide across the top of the hood to quickly get to the other side. She thought it would also look rather dramatic to the occupants as she did that. She figured it would distract both of them.
"I'm going over the hood of their car when we stop." Cammy said. "I'll take the passenger."
That left the driver for Cameron.
Cameron wanted some answers and she wanted them as soon as possible. She also wanted the motorcycle rider. Anna just potentially identified the motorcycle rider as a female. She didn't know if it was a human female or a female Terminator. It didn't really matter. She really wanted to get her hands on the motorcycle rider as well.
Savannah worried about the impending operation. They still didn't know who the enemy was.
"We don't know if these are the Fanatics or Grays." Savannah said.
John thought that since the location that was taken down was believed to be associated with the Fanatics that it was taken down by Grays. There was a chance they could be the anti-Metal faction as well.
"I think they're Grays." John said.
Savannah felt there still needed to be some caution.
"We know the Fanatics like to blow things up, including themselves." Savannah said.
John Henry updated everyone on the two takedown operations.
"Cameron is getting ready to move." John Henry said. "Sheila, Ally and Tom are as well."
Savannah still worried for everyone's safety if they were the Fanatics.
"Maybe we should lead them away and take them with a drone." Savannah said.
John worried about the collateral damage.
"That's risky." John said.
Savannah felt that an exploding vehicle on a city street was a danger as well.
"It's an option." Savannah said.
Savannah was worried for Cameron and Cammy. She was worried for all of them except herself. It didn't seem like it was going to make a difference currently. It looked like everything was about to go down in a matter of seconds.
Cameron and Cammy heard Savannah's concern.
"I'm not looking forward to getting a new chassis if the car blows up." Cammy said.
Cameron tried to evaluate the threat.
"I think they're Grays." Cameron said. "Maybe the one on the motorcycle is a Fanatic."
Cammy worried what the motorcycle rider knew and saw.
"There's a good chance the motorcycle rider may have spotted or heard the drone." Cammy said. "They may have descriptions of our vehicles or personnel."
Cameron tried to think of several plausible scenarios. She was sure if it was a Fanatic on the motorcycle that they would suspect Skynet forces.
"They know Grays attacked them." Cameron said. "They should think it was more Grays returning with HK drones and Skynet Terminators."
Cammy wasn't so sure about any of that. It was time to end it.
"Let's finish this." Cammy said.
Cameron closed on the 'security patrol' vehicle. She came up rapidly in back of them and moved to their left side and caught their rear quarter panel with the front bumper of the SUV and turned sharply to the right for a fraction of a second and quickly dropped back. This caused the 'security patrol' vehicle to spin out and stall. It was a classic 'PIT maneuver'.
She pulled up with the damaged SUV and bailed out with Cammy. She was at the stunned driver's door in a second. Cammy jumped and slid across the hood on one bent leg and was at the passenger's side a fraction of a second later.
Cameron and Cammy both smashed their fists through the side windows and grabbed the men.
Both men were going for weapons as they were yanked out through the shattered side windows.
Gail and Savannah pulled up before the men were pulled all the way out of the windows. They were ready to back up Cameron and Cammy as well as watch the surrounding area for any additional threats.
Seconds ago:
Savannah watched Cameron go in for the 'PIT maneuver'.
"Pick it up. Get us up there." Savannah said. "Cameron's making her move."
Gail needed to consider Savannah's safety.
"We'll be there in a few seconds." Gail said. "I must maintain control and have maneuverability."
Gail screeched to a stop as Cammy and Cameron reached for the men.
Savannah and Gail arrived with weapons ready.
Savannah backed up Cameron and Gail backed up Cammy. She kept her eyes open for any additional threats as well.
Sheila and Ally followed Tom. They were aware of what Cameron was going to do to stop the vehicle she was after. Tom said he would do the same thing.
Tom closed up on the other 'security patrol' vehicle. He also enacted a 'PIT maneuver'.
Ally and Sheila watched it go down.
"It's Showtime, love." Sheila said.
The 'security patrol' sedan spun out of control and stalled.
Tom got out to grab the driver while Ally and Sheila pulled up on the passenger's side.
Sheila spun the SUV so that Ally would be closest to the passenger side of the 'security patrol' sedan.
In seconds they pulled both men from the car as they disarmed them.
It soon became clear that something was amiss.
John Henry watched the motorcycle rider as they were tracked from the drone footage and from Hanna in the manned drone. It looked like what Young Allison predicted was about to happen.
"I think the motorcycle rider is headed for the mall." John Henry said. "They will dump the bike and try to blend in with the crowds if they make it that far."
Anna tracked where their forces were at on the satellite overlay map with the drone footage that Hanna provided from the manned drone.
"Dan and Al are both moving in on an intercept course." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted quick decisive action. The SUVs were a formidable weapon. They each weighed two tons.
"Whoever gets there first should knock them over or run them down." Young Allison said. "It will stop them immediately."
John still worried it was a coincidence. They might be about to attack, injure or even kill someone who was innocent.
"What if it turns out it's unrelated?" John asked.
John Henry thought otherwise. It seemed to be all in the timing and in the location where the motorcycle came from.
"That seems to be highly unlikely." John Henry said.
Young Allison wanted the team protected. She was aware with the influx of illegal aliens who crossed the border by the thousands every day that 'hit and run' accidents were quite common in the Southland. The illegals who drove without insurance or a driver's license didn't stick around in their unregistered vehicle to exchange driver's information after an accident. If the vehicle could still move they kept on going. If the vehicle was incapacitated, they simply left it. It wasn't registered to them. They left on foot and disappeared into the surrounding buildings in a matter of seconds.
"It will look like a 'hit and run' traffic accident." Young Allison said. "It happens dozens of times everyday. It doesn't seem to bother the authorities much since nothing's done about it."
John Henry liked that idea.
Young Allison thought maybe they could 'herd' the motorcycle rider away from the mall.
"Have the drone below Hanna get ahead of the motorcycle rider so they can hear it." Young Allison said. "If they know there's a drone in front of them, they'll try to avoid it."
Anna received updated targeting information from CamNet.
"CamNet has reported she can get a six shot burst off with the minigun on the drone into the back of the motorcycle rider." Anna said. "That will most likely tear up their spinal column and paralyze them, if they're not killed outright."
Young Allison wanted action. She didn't care for John's high level of inactivity.
"Make a call, John." Young Allison said. "You have several options."
John looked at Young Allison. He wanted to see if she would kill in front of him.
"You make the call, Allison." John said. "It's your decision now as to how to play it. Do what you think you need to do."
Young Allison already made a plan. She was given information by Anna that CamNet was able to direct Dan and Al to assist them. They were already near the current location of the motorcycle rider.
"I want the drone to move in front of them, with Dan, Al and Steve closing from all sides." Young Allison said. "Hanna will close and make the six shot burst if necessary. They aren't to reach the mall. I want them terminated before that happens. If they continue to approach the mall, take them down with extreme prejudice."
John watched Young Allison give a 'kill order' and not even blink. It was hard to imagine to look at her and hear that. Then again, he knew that they were hundreds if not thousands dead at this point in time from her previous actions.
Steve moved forward to intercept the motorcycle rider. Hanna directed him where to go. John Henry guided Al and Dan in for the intercept.
CamNet sent the drone in low and passed over the head of the motorcycle rider. They looked up and immediately turned on the next street. The drone moved alongside of them. It caused them to turn again. They were headed directly for Dan now. Al and Steve closed in from either side. Hanna was lined up to fire a burst from the minigun into their back.
The motorcycle rider turned down a narrow alley when they spotted Dan headed toward them.
There was too much chance of the motorcycle rider bolting at this point.
Young Allison saw it was time to act. She wanted to make sure the action was taken immediately.
"Hanna, end the chase." Young Allison said. "Light them up, now."
Hanna received the call and fired a two round burst. The rounds impacted into the back wheel of the motorcycle. The sudden blowout caused the rider to fall over sideways and tumble side over side several times. They lay sprawled on the ground. Their helmet was at a crazy angle.
The motorcycle began to smoke but not burn.
Steve headed down one side of the alley and Dan followed the motorcycle down the alley the way that they went.
They both closed up on the fallen rider with weapons drawn.
The rider started to get up. The helmet fell off
Long dark hair fell over the shoulders as Dan and Steve both hit them with Taser fire.
It was clearly a female.
How Hard Could It Be
Life is a bumpy road
Filled with confusion
The results of each day
Are a mental contusion
From those we seek
We are faced with elusion
Making one wonder
If it's not all an illusion
From our mind into our heart
We seek loves effusion
But as we knock at love's door
We are met with an occlusion
What should abundantly exist
Flowing with great profusion
Makes one suddenly withdraw
Seeming to prefer seclusion
How hard could it be
When you know it's not delusion
To let the love blossom
Two loving hearts joined in fusion
Nobody
