Chapter 1106
You Are My Rock
Savannah followed her landing instructions and set the Huey down on the same side of the airport as Cameron's hangar. It was only a short walk away. There were two SUVs waiting for them in front of the hangar. It appeared that they'd both just pulled up.
Derek and Kyle exited from one of them. Bob and Cameron got out of the other one.
Cammy thought it was a little strange that the Reese brothers appeared to have driven themselves. Normally a Terminator would be with them in the vehicle. She would have to look into that at a later date. She wondered if there was some reason that Bob needed to accompany Cameron.
Savannah was worried about Cameron on the flight there. That wasn't the only thing that troubled her. She didn't want to get upset at Cammy or Young Allison. She felt very uneasy about whatever may have occurred. She always said she wanted everyone to make their own choices but she didn't want them to make bad choices. She was sure there was a lot of personal jealousy involved on two different levels. It just wasn't something that needed to be in her mind right now. She was sure she was going to have to accompany Cameron into a danger zone. She wanted her head in the game, not in the gutter.
She was pleased when saw Cameron was there, she ran to her and gave her a hug.
"I was so worried about you." Savannah said.
Cameron felt pleased that Savannah came to her and hugged her.
"I'm here now." Cameron said. "We're together and we'll remain so for the foreseeable future."
Cameron could see the genuine concern Savannah exhibited for her. It gave her a good feeling. It was real concern for her and her well being for the individual she was, not for what she could offer. It wasn't for the use of her sheath but for her.
The smile on her face faded as she looked at Cammy.
"Savannah, you can show Derek and Kyle around the hangar if you want." Cameron said. "I need to speak with Cammy."
Savannah saw the cold look Cameron gave to Cammy. It was clear she suspected something. She didn't want any trouble. It was time to say something.
"I would like Cammy to do that for right now. Derek and Kyle will be very pleased." Savannah said.
She decided to do her post flight inspection of the helicopter with Cameron at her side. There were a few things she needed to say. They spoke as the UH-1 was checked out.
Cameron could see that everyone was away and out of earshot.
"I wanted to address some irregularities." Cameron said.
Savannah figured that's where the conversation was headed. She wanted to get ahead of the issue.
"I don't know what happened but it was part of a bet Young Allison made with Cammy." Savannah said. "Please go easy on her. I was going to deal with this later myself. I would still prefer to address it myself. It's a personal issue to me on two fronts."
It was something Cameron wanted Savannah to do. She wanted Savannah to face any potential personal issues head on, especially sensitive ones.
Cameron wanted to make sure the issue would be addressed.
"Do you still wish to resolve this yourself?" Cameron asked.
Savannah didn't realize the full extent of what Young Allison set out to do and why. She would be much more upset than she currently was if she did. She wanted to instill in Young Allison a better sense of fairness. There was a difference between the battlefield and the 'playing' field.
"I do." Savannah said. "I don't know what happened but Young Allison is as much to blame. She set Cammy up to lose the bet. She used her ability to limit Cammy's performance level to manipulate her. That was wrong too."
Cameron wanted Savannah to be on top of everything related to the issue.
"I'll let you deal with this and with everyone involved." Cameron said.
This conversation made Savannah wonder how Cameron seemed to know so much about the events and what happened. She must have been informed by someone. The logical choice was CamNet. Savannah wanted to hear what Cameron would say about it.
"How do you even know about this?" Savannah asked.
Cameron didn't want to get accused of spying on Young Allison and Savannah. Technically that's what she'd been doing. She wanted to see how they interacted with each other. She wanted to better be able to interact with both of them. She decided to leave her personal involvement out of the equation.
"I was notified by CamNet of some transmissions that were picked up." Cameron said. "I saw how you 'looked' on several surveillance cameras and your almost total silence on the way back. I also saw the events in the pool."
Cameron was still very displeased by the events.
Savannah figured that covered most of it. She was pleased that Cameron wouldn't get involved. She liked how Cameron watched over her. She also liked that Cameron trusted her to handle it her way.
Cameron was going to let Savannah take care of it. If she felt that further action or 'punishment' was necessary, she was going to do that herself. Wait. She needed to trust Savannah's judgment. That's how it was supposed to be in the future. That's how it needed to be now as well.
She'd given Savannah and Young Allison the power to 'order' all of the machines to do or not to do something. That was done with the belief that Savannah would always do the proper and correct thing. In other words Savannah would always do the right thing.
Cammy watched Savannah and Cameron interact. Cameron glanced over in her direction several times. Savannah only looked over once. She didn't take that as a good sign.
She hung back for a few seconds before she joined Bob who'd started to show Derek and Kyle the inside of the hangar. She knew that Bitch, Cameron, was going to have some kind of 'hissy fit'.
She knew it already looked like she was on Savannah's 'list'. She would deal with whatever happened. Maybe she would fly the UH-1 back to Palmdale. She could conduct the rest of her 'business' with Young Allison then. She needed to get that taken care of before she was 'ordered' not to do it. Young Allison wanted to see what everything would look and feel like on her teenage body in a few years. She planned to show her.
Cammy never expected to win the bet even though she got creative and tried. She wanted to push Young Allison and make her rethink some of her boldness. She told Young Allison she would have collected her side of the bet if she'd won. She wouldn't really have taken that gift from Savannah or John. One of them would be the one to collect that honor. She hoped it was Savannah.
Savannah didn't want Cameron to dwell on her or worry about her. She'd only looked in Cammy's direction one time.
"I'm better now." Savannah said. "I was so worried about you and dealing with the Fanatics."
Cameron was satisfied for now. She would make another attempt to reach out to Savannah about the trip. She really wanted her to go on the cruise with John and her. Maybe with the trouble with Cammy and Young Allison she might reconsider.
"Everything is fine. Let's show Derek and Kyle around." Cameron said. "I don't want anything to spoil my mood. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and the three of us."
Savannah stopped. She faced Cameron.
She wasn't upset Cameron tried to get her to go again. She knew it was in her base programming. It was literally something Cameron needed to do even if she didn't want to.
"It will only be the two of you." Savannah said. "I want your bond strengthened with John. This is your official honeymoon."
Cameron pushed her agenda. She wanted what Future John wanted. She couldn't think of a more opportune time other than the cruise for Future John's desires to be consummated. Savannah could be with both John and her. It would be a new chapter in all of their lives.
"It's time the 'Natural Order' move forward." Cameron said.
Savannah held her ground. She wanted John and Cameron closer.
"I choose to remain out of it for now." Savannah said.
Savannah's words sent a sense of worry through Cameron.
"Do you mean even with me?" Cameron asked.
Savannah was unsure about a lot of things right now. She didn't like the way that John and Cameron treated each other sometimes. It was very troubling to her. It wasn't so much that she thought they might treat her like that as it was that she didn't like to see them treat each other like that. She knew that couples went through different types of challenges on a regular basis. She'd seen it with all the different couples at the base. There were just sometimes when there was a disagreement about something. Everyone either wanted their own way or thought that they were correct.
"I don't know, Cameron." Savannah said. "I want you and John to be closer."
Savannah believed that if she was on the cruise that both John and Cameron would focus on her and not each other. It was just the opposite effect of what she wanted to happen.
Cameron hoped this was only a delay and not a change in direction. She wanted to see what Savannah's priorities were currently.
"Do you wish to establish your bond with Young Allison first?" Cameron asked.
Savannah wanted everyone to have a little more 'say' in their own personal choices. She didn't want everything to be the same just because it was like that in the future. It was clear there was more than one future at this point in time. Maybe not all futures were the same. She knew from first hand experience that they weren't.
"That's not written in stone either." Savannah said. "Young Allison has the freedom of choice to go in any direction she chooses."
Cameron believed Young Allison previously made her own choice. Anna informed her of the restrictions that Young Allison placed on herself with an 'order'.
"Young Allison's mind is already made up." Cameron said.
Savannah knew that was because of Cameron's influence over everyone, including her. She didn't like or want Cameron to manipulate Young Allison.
"I want her to make her own decisions." Savannah said. "I'm asking you to allow her to do that."
Cameron didn't say anything.
Savannah could see she'd caused Cameron to feel some distress. She'd made promises and she wanted Cameron to know she intended to keep them.
"I'll still fulfill all my promises to you, Cameron." Savannah said. "ALL of them. I swear it."
Cameron smiled at Savannah and gave her another hug. That took a lot of her worry away. John needed to be protected. The girls needed to help her do that. Maybe the girls needed to establish their relationship first. She was going to work on bypassing anybody's hang up about 'age'. She needed the strength that Savannah radiated. She wanted her to know that.
"You are my rock." Cameron said.
Savannah didn't know what she was. She was a teenage girl with the weight of the world and the future on her back. She did want everyone to have a fair shot at things and at life. She didn't want anyone to make decisions for anyone else. She didn't want to fall into that trap as well.
"I'm trying to look out for everyone." Savannah said.
Cameron knew that Savannah never put herself first and always thought of the goodwill of others. There was nothing selfish or greedy about Savannah.
"You do." Cameron said. "You always do."
Savannah didn't want Cameron to slip into a dark corner. She figured if they showed Derek and Kyle around some that Cameron could reflect on some of her positive achievements. She believed that Derek's and Kyle's enthusiasm would rub off on Cameron.
"Let's go show the boys around." Savannah said.
They headed toward the hangar. Right before they went in, Savannah stopped Cameron and looked her in the eyes. She wanted to make it clear there would be no interference with whatever happened earlier.
"I alone will deal with Cammy and Young Allison." Savannah said.
Cameron liked the authoritative move. It was a move Savannah would need to use on John in the future. She also reflected it may be a move Savannah would need to use on her. She didn't feel some of her earlier decisions were questionable even if they were risky. Savannah's input to 'order' her to vacate several of those locations did save her from extreme sheath damage and possibly destruction. She hadn't made either of those calls on her own.
"That's understood." Cameron said. "I'll only back your play."
Savannah was pleased that Cameron believed in her.
"Thank You." Savannah said as she kissed Cameron on the cheek.
Cameron reached up and touched her cheek where Savannah kissed her. She was very pleased by that act. She followed Savannah into the hangar.
Ally, Gail. Hanna and Sheila waited for Jim to pick them up so they could dump the second SUV that they'd been in by the target building. John Henry was afraid they were identified.
Ally didn't like to sit and not do anything.
"How long do we have to wait here?" Ally asked.
Gail wanted Ally to follow the instructions.
"We need to wait until Jim gets here." Gail said. "Those were our instructions."
Sheila preferred the vehicle they were in. It was nicer than most. She'd personally selected it from the vehicles inside of the parking structure.
"I like this SUV." Sheila said. "Why do we have to dump it? We just got it. I want to keep it."
Ally knew why Sheila liked the SUV. She liked the luxury of it.
"You only like it because it's an Escalade." Ally said.
Sheila didn't see a problem with that.
"I like to ride in style." Sheila said.
It was just another SUV to Gail. It was a 'hot' one at that.
"It's a stolen vehicle." Gail said.
Gail's statement irritated Sheila. She wondered why Gail was such a 'stiff' sometimes. They both share the same base program. The difference was she had the 'Neural Interface' with Jesse. She believed it made a world of difference between them.
"We just borrowed it." Sheila said as she looked at Gail. "I don't even know how we're the same program sometimes."
Gail always felt a little short changed. She didn't have the improved 'Neural Interface' that Cameron developed. She wanted to point that out.
"You all have the advanced 'Neural Interface' with the girls. Our base program is the same." Gail said. "You are more fortunate in that regard than I am."
Ally wondered where Gail's doppelganger was at in this timeline. She really wondered how it would change Gail.
"Maybe we should try and find your human counterpart here so you can 'interface' with her." Ally said. "Maybe it would loosen you up some."
Savannah told Gail before that it would change her if she used the 'Neural Interface' at this point in time. She left the choice up to Gail.
Gail would like to have the 'Neural Interface' with Savannah. She couldn't think of a finer example of a human female. She knew the people that mattered the most to her liked how she was. They didn't want her to change.
"Jesse and Savannah like me how I am." Gail said.
Sheila presented a different option. They were actually a few available to her.
"You can turn it off when you're around them." Sheila said. "The same way I can be you if I turn off my 'Jesse programming'. Then I'd be just like you again. That's why I don't turn it off."
Ally liked Sheila the way she was.
"That would be a total drag." Ally said. "The last thing we'd need is another square."
Sheila didn't have any desire to be 'L7'. She liked the boldness her 'Neural Interface' program and gave her. It made her distinct over all of the other Terminators. She didn't have any qualms about doing anything.
Hanna wondered what Gail's human counterpart was like or what she did. With giant breasts like Gail, she would be sought after by both men and women.
"Maybe she's a stripper or a 'working girl'." Hanna said. "She might get around a lot."
Sheila already knew what she wanted for employment if it was ever necessary.
"She could be a porn star." Sheila said. "That's the job I would do if I were a human. Where else can you get paid for having a good time?" "
Hanna didn't see any obstacles to that now.
"You could still do that anyway." Hanna said. "You don't sleep."
Ally thought about the other end of the scale from working girl or porn star.
"I bet she is a Nun." Ally said.
That didn't sound promising to Sheila.
"In that case, that's all she gets - NONE." Sheila said.
Hanna offered another choice.
"Maybe she is a housewife with three kids." Hanna said.
That prospect seemed just as bad to Ally.
"It's probably with an abusive husband who beats the crap out of her." Ally said.
Gail didn't like the sound of that. If they found her doppelganger and she was in an abusive relationship, she would deal with the problem herself.
Sheila didn't like any of those choices. It would still be nice to see who she was and what she did.
"I think we should track her down." Sheila said. "Maybe we can up your game, Gail."
Gail was irritated with all the talk about her. The thought of an abusive husband beating someone who she was patterned after upset her. The incessant chatter from the other Metal girls upset her as well. She didn't like being the focus of attention or a discussion.
"Maybe we should meet up with Jim like we are supposed to do." Gail said. "Then I won't need to bust any of you up."
Ally didn't want any trouble.
"We're lovers, not fighters." Ally said.
She was always ready for a little action. It didn't matter what it was.
"I'm both." Sheila said.
Hanna didn't want things to get too out of hand. She was a little concerned where their ride was at.
"Where's Jim at?" Hanna asked.
Sheila started to wonder the same thing.
"I don't know." Sheila said.
Gail was very irritated with the others.
"Let's call John Henry." Gail said.
Young Allison watched the helicopter fly away. She wondered if maybe she should have gone with them. It was going to happen at some point. She listened to the helicopter until she couldn't hear it anymore. She let out a long sigh and headed for the SUV. The driver's door was open and the seat was adjusted for her already. She smiled at the Detail and got into the driver's seat and buckled up.
Anna suggested they could stop somewhere on the way back and she could pick up some food to bring home.
Young Allison just wanted to get back to her bunker and see what was really happening.
She thought about driving by the park to make sure there was no trouble occurring there. It didn't matter if it was broad daylight or not. She knew most of the trouble happened after darkness. She would deal with the issue another time. Right now she wanted to make sure what Savannah was going to face if she went with Cameron on a combat operation against the Fanatics. She'd already thought about a few ways to deal with the Fanatics herself.
Young Allison and Anna were soon back at the Young residence. They were now in the bunker.
It was time for her to get caught up on all that was happening with the Resistance. There wasn't much actively going on. CamNet made sure everything was laid out and organized for her.
Anna didn't say much.
Young Allison knew this was related to her. She wanted to address the issue.
"Is there going to be some kind of a problem?" Young Allison asked.
Anna felt a lot of things. She didn't make the connection as to what she felt. She was jealous. She was given an assignment to do by Young Allison. She needed to enforce it.
"I'm going to have to forbid any more 'contact' with Cammy." Anna said. "At least in the manner you recently experienced."
Young Allison didn't like the attitude.
"I already told you, it wasn't sexual." Young Allison said. "I wanted to see how I was going to look before I did it. How many people get that option? It's a big step when I do it. I'm going to do it."
Anna wanted Young Allison to have a little more physical development.
"You're a few years away from that point in time." Anna said. "That's in any timeline."
Young Allison didn't like the challenge.
"I am telling you now what's going to happen." Young Allison said. "I'm going to do it."
Anna thought some of the other things Young Allison planned to do should happen first.
"You should wait until after child birth." Anna said.
Young Allison did her research.
"Now who's pushing it?" Young Allison asked. "I checked with Jesse and she isn't having any trouble nursing Precious. The procedure is very common now."
"Then you don't need to see anything else on Cammy." Anna said.
Young Allison knew that Anna 'felt' what she did when Savannah was with the other girls, especially Allison.
"Are you jealous?" Young Allison asked.
Anna thought about it. She also felt this way when Ally and Sheila interacted with Young Allison before in a provocative manner. That upset her too.
"I don't know." Anna said. "Maybe that's what it is."
Young Allison didn't want Anna to worry.
"You know I love you almost the same as I do Cameron and Savannah." Young Allison said.
Anna believed that to be true.
"Like you love them?" Anna asked.
Young Allison cared very deeply for Anna. She was around her all the time. How could she not?
"Yes." Young Allison said. "I love you."
Anna understood her personal dilemma. It was actually the same thing every Metal girl felt about the one who they 'protected'. That's what happened to Cameron with John as well. She wanted to point out exactly how she felt. There were also a few rules that needed to be remembered.
"I'm in love with you, Allison." Anna said. "I'm supposed to be your mentor, guardian and protector. I'm not supposed to be your lover."
Young Allison was very pleased to hear how Anna felt because she felt the same way. She wasn't sure how the rules were going to play out. She saw they didn't seem to apply to the other human girls and their Terminator protectors. They were all Metal lovers in reality.
"You are." Young Allison said. "You are also my friend and someone I love very much. No one is my lover yet."
It was clear to Anna what her real issue was. She'd tried to tell herself it wasn't so but it clearly was.
"I know what these feelings are now." Anna said. "You were correct. I am jealous."
Young Allison moved closer to Anna. Maybe it was time to do a little more than 'hang out'. She wanted to express her feelings for her. She went to kiss her.
Anna backed away.
"I can't." Anna said.
Young Allison felt more than a little frustrated. She wanted to show Anna how she felt and she wanted a little more for herself. She didn't see how it could hurt anything. If all they did was kiss, what was the big deal?
"Why can't you?" Young Allison asked.
Anna felt more than a little frustrated.
"I can't with you by your own 'order'." Anna said.
Young Allison was ready for a little more. She was tired of waiting.
"I'm lifting the order." Young Allison said. "We may proceed."
Young Allison moved to Kiss Anna again.
Anna backed away. She felt her hands were tied. The rules were already in place.
"Only you and Savannah together can rescind that 'order'. Again that's by your 'order'." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted a quick fix. She was ready to find one.
"Let me call Savannah." Young Allison said.
Anna thought now was a bad time for Young Allison to ask. Savannah was worried about Cameron. She was also worried something happened in the shower.
"She suspects what you did with Cammy, her lover." Anna said. "She was the one who sent me to check on you two in the shower. I don't think she wanted to see."
Young Allison remembered how Savannah confronted Ally when she was in Anna's chassis before. Ally had been a little too free with her hands.
"Maybe I better wait a little before I ask her." Young Allison said.
Young Allison didn't want to push Savannah when she was upset.
Anna knew she was going to have to call Savannah herself and ask her to not rescind the 'order'. Young Allison wanted to play with fire. She knew she must sacrifice her feelings for the greater good of Young Allison and her future well being. This was about more than her or her personal wishes. She didn't want to be the one to get between Savannah and Young Allison. She didn't want to get between Young Allison and Cameron or John.
'Everyone sacrifices for Allison Young.' Anna thought.
Vanna worked in the lab and Allison assisted her.
Allison could see there were a lot of things happening in the lab. She hadn't been a part of helping with any of them for the last few years. It made her feel guilty about her duty to the Resistance. She basically just been living at home and doing nothing. She watched over Young Allison and her younger sister and made sure they were protected. There were Terminators that did that as well.
"This is important stuff." Allison said. "I have been slacking off ever since I moved back home."
Vanna didn't see how Allison could have done anymore from Palmdale. Allison had the opportunity to be with her family again. She really believed that was something to be treasured. She really didn't want to address the issue.
"I'm trying to do my part to help." Vanna said. "We all do what we can."
Allison knew she'd been too lax since she moved back home. Vanna's statement made her feel even a little guiltier.
"I haven't been." Allison said. "Everyone must think I'm a slacker."
Vanna felt Allison was doing what Cameron wanted. Allison seemed to be the one most likely to be able to produce a child of the girls from the future. Jesse and her never did very well or lasted very long whenever they tried. They'd actually both given up.
"I know you weren't a slacker in our future." Vanna said. "You've been doing what Cameron wants you to do now."
Allison knew that 'function' was to have a baby. It never worked. Every try so far ended in failure. It was very troubling. Jesse and Vanna stopped trying because the failures hurt so much mentally. Every time they had a failure, it made them feel even more worthless. She vowed to keep on trying until she made it. It was getting harder and harder to do. Each new failure left her with a worse feeling than the previous one.
"I keep failing." Allison said. "I can't take it anymore."
Allison wondered when she had a baby if Cameron would take it from her. It was a fear that was always in the back of her mind. It had been ever since she'd first started trying.
Vanna went to Allison and hugged her. She was sure her only hope at motherhood was with Allison. She believed she would be able to help Allison immensely.
"Whatever happens, we're going to do it together." Vanna said.
Allison wanted Vanna at her side more than anything if she was able to have a baby. She was sure that she would make a terrible mother. After the way she watched Riley struggle, she believed that would happen to her as well. It wasn't a very comfortable feeling to have. It wasn't that there weren't other people to assist her including Terminators, it was more the fear that she would be a personal failure. She looked into Vanna's eyes.
"Do you promise me?" Allison asked.
Vanna could feel the way Allison looked at her. She sucked in her breath a little bit and felt 'goose bumps' on her arms. She wanted that more than anything. She wanted it to be with Allison.
"Yes." Vanna said.
It was a promise that Vanna made to herself the day Allison pulled her out of the 'burn pile' for the dead. She owed her life to Allison. Anyone else would have left her to die. That's exactly what they'd already done.
Allison could see her long-term lover spoke with truth and conviction. She knew she could always count on Vanna, no matter what happened.
"It's always been you, no matter who else I've been with." Allison said.
It was a promise Allison made to herself the day Vanna freed her from the Scavenger camp. She was sure she was going to die that day. Vanna sacrificed herself for her to give her a chance at life.
"Let's get to work." Allison said. "I want to start doing more to help. Everyone has helped me."
Vanna looked at Allison with love in her eyes and love in her heart.
"We'll do everything together." Vanna said.
Allison looked at Vanna with love in her eyes and love and her heart.
"We always will." Allison said.
The two long time lovers kissed and went to work. They were very pleased just to be in each other's company. They both drew a lot of strength and reassurance from each other. Those feelings seemed to compound on each other.
Cam and Holly were called to the Command Center earlier.
John was pleased when they arrived.
"I'll need you two to step up in my absence." John said.
Holly normally wasn't in the Command Center or even at the Resistance base. She's been living in Palmdale with Allison for years now. Usually anything that she did was for an 'off the books' operation for Cameron and CamNet. She took a serious note. She didn't mean to be funny.
"Of course, General, that's our function." Holly said. "I'm ready to carry out any mission that's required."
John never really liked that title. It reminded him too much of Future John. It seemed the more he learned about Future John the less he wanted to be like him. It seemed the less he wanted to be like Future John, the more that Cameron tried to make him like Future John.
"We don't need any formal titles. 'John' is good enough for now." John said.
Holly wondered if she should apologize or not.
Cam could see Holly looked a little stressed. She decided to cut to the chase. She was a clone of Cameron and she was ready for anything. It was also painfully clear that Holly and her were going to have a lot more free time than they had previously. It appeared Vanna and Allison were going to be spending a lot of time together. That meant less time for both of them with their human lover.
"Tell us what you need." Cam said. "We're ready for any assignment."
John specifically waited until Cameron left the base before he called them in to speak with them. What he had to say didn't need to be said in front of Cameron.
"I'll need you and Cammy to be 'Cameron' but not act like her." John said.
Cam tilted her head slightly. They both ran Cameron's program. It was somewhat modified. Mainly the protocols and interaction between Cameron and John were locked and unavailable for them to view or process.
"Cammy and I are both 'Cameron'." Cam said. "We're going to act and react like she does."
John never could tell them apart. He wondered if he'd ever been with one of them and not known. They could fool him. The three of them looked identical to him.
"I'm still trying to figure that out." John said.
John Henry thought the concept was simple enough.
"They have some modifications to their programming with some additional blocked files." John Henry said.
John thought Cameron could use some of that herself. Hopefully it would fix some of her problems.
"Maybe Cameron needs some of her files blocked." John said.
Holly was offended by what John said. She wanted to say something but didn't feel it was her place. It was her understanding that most of Cameron's problems emanated from John to begin with. She was aware in the beginning that Sarah and Future Derek along with the 'Bitch Whore' Riley - Future Riley, all greatly disrespected Cameron. It was done in various and multiple ways many times over. Cameron, well, Duplicate Cameron was on her chip for fifteen months. She knew very well of the things that troubled and bothered Cameron and were the root of all of her problems.
'Cameron doesn't need to have her files blocked for what someone else did to her' Holly thought.
Cam was aware that Cameron could be a little extreme as well as a little abrasive at times. Normally she didn't butt heads with Cameron but Cammy often did. She was sure that was mainly because of Savannah.
"Do you want us to reprogram her?" Cam asked.
John was a little surprised at the question.
"No." John said.
Cam wanted to push it a little and see where John stood. Now was his chance to say what he truly felt.
"We can fix her." Cam said. "We can eliminate most of your problems as well as hers."
That thought reminded John too much of what Future John must have done to Cameron before he sent her back. It was only some of the extreme action that Cameron had taken on her own that he didn't like the most. He really didn't think there was any way to fix that without creating even more problems. He didn't even want to think about it let alone suggest it.
"I like who she is right now." John said.
Holly wanted to move the conversation along in a different direction. She didn't want the conversation focused on Cameron when she wasn't there to speak for herself. She didn't feel it was her place to speak for Cameron but she was ready to do that if the conversation continued.
"Tell us what you want us to do as far as it concerns the Resistance and the defeat of Skynet." Holly said. "That is our primary function. That's what we are here for."
John Henry knew that Cameron may have another 'assignment' lined up for Holly. It wasn't his place or the time to mention his suspicions. He didn't think they were going to go over very well.
You Are My Rock
Some want to move forward
Others want to block
Most are content
To run out the clock
No one likes to see
The other one gawk
Nor do they want to be
Watched like a hawk
Many are around
A few will knock
No one wants to hear
A story that's a crock
Try to be cool
Don't complain or squawk
If it's a match
They can sit and talk
If things work out
Two hearts can dock
When that happens remember
You are my rock
Nobody
