Chapter 114: Desperate Times

(9/13, Evening)

(Roppongi, Okumura Foods Headquarters)

Haru Okumura was not having a good day, to be honest.

Well, no, it was more accurate to say she's never had a good day in her high school life. Not everyone at her school took her seriously, she had to admit. Even her working on her homework back at home didn't feel somehow engaging at all, despite acing most of them in her classes at Shujin Academy.

She was currently walking on a pathway with lampposts lined up on both sides, and some foliage around them in the middle of the city, similar to a park in a way. Right now, she didn't have the time to deal with him, of all people.

"Maybe I should have kept up with my shinobi training..." Haru quietly mumbled to herself as she casually walked, her mind suddenly going towards her shinobi bodyguards that her father hired, the Elites from Hanzō Academy.

She was glad to get reacquainted with Ika-chan after all this time and that she made new friends like Katsu-chan...despite her unhealthy habit of groping other girls.

Still, it even made her wonder what Kumo-chan was doing too!

Though she had to admit, these random kidnappings of her by some random people, shinobi or not, started to feel...repetitive and not really feeling the danger and thrill of it.

Feeling like there's nothing else to do around these parts outside the city, she then decided to take a shower or a bath once she returned home.

Outside the headquarters, two certain female individuals along with a certain black and white feline companion simply stood far in front of the very building itself, staring at the tall structure.

"Wow this building is tall..." Asuka got out as she looked upward while adjusting the bag over her shoulder. They had swung by home and grabbed the duffle bag of their items and equipment, so they were practically ready for anything, even if Asuka and Homura didn't feel ready.

"Well it is the headquarters to a massive corporation, Sis." Homura meanwhile reminded. "It has to match the size of the CEO's cognition of his penis." She then added.

The not cat and the brunette looked at her, completely baffled at what she just said.

"Homu-neechan!" Asuka squeaked out, her head red from blushing.

"What? I know what I said." Homura nonchalantly responded. "Seriously, it really has to match the size of his cognition of his peni-" She then started.

"Okay, stop right there, Lady Homura." Morgana interrupted. "Lady Asuka and I will just pretend we didn't hear that one. Anyways, back to the matter at hand, where should we go next now that we're here?" He decided and questioned.

"Why are you asking me?" Homura got out in confusion. "What are you asking me?" She then asked.

"Well...we need a hiding spot for when we enter the Palace. We can't let anyone see us." Morgana answered.

"It's the middle of the night! There's no one here to see us other than security cameras." Homura countered as she pointed at one of the many security cameras along the outside of the building. "There's a zero percent chance anyone is here to see us." She then stated.

At the same time, a certain auburn-haired girl passed by the area not far from the three, looking over at her father's company building with a contemplating look.

"Father..." Haru loomingly muttered to herself, her mind wandering through many things in relation to her own father before shrugging it off to proceed once again...only to notice familiar people in front of her father's building, stopping her tracks for a moment. "Hm? Asu-chan? And...isn't that the Disciplinary Head from school?" She asked herself in a curious manner as she continued to watch them from a distance.

"Well, you can never be too cautious." Morgana got out in a curt manner. "Now, let this operation commence." He then announced.

"You know, let me be blunt here. Just being here is a huge mistake." Homura deadpanned with hands on her hips.

"Don't worry about it, Lady Homura. We've got this." Morgana reassured. "Futaba already confirmed Okumura has a Palace, and I'm sure this is the location of his distortion. Now, all we need is what he sees the world as." He then added.

"No, I mean doing this entire thing right now." Homura responded. "If we know this is a trap and Black Mask is gunning for Okumura, why don't we lay our own trap?" She soon questioned.

"There's a lot of variables you're not taking into account, Lady Homura." Morgana got out. "We don't know who to look for, we don't know the layout of the Palace, and for all we know Black Mask could be a shinobi. It's also possible that Black Mask already has the Palace scouted out. We need info desperately, and even if this is a trap we can't ignore the implications of the Palace's existence." He then explained.

"I agree, Morgana-chan, but not this desperately." Asuka spoke up with a frown. "Can't we at least do it tomorrow?" She then suggested.

"I just said we can't let the enemy take advantage of us anymore." Morgana answered. "Plus, as long as we don't send a calling card, we have plenty of time." He then reassured.

"They could just plant one." Homura bluntly pointed out.

The not cat however began sweating. "J-Just...we need info right now, and that's final!" Morgana soon declared. "Lady Asuka, MetaNav." He soon requested.

"Cat, Sis is supposed to be in charge of this team." Homura however reminded as she narrowed her eyes.

"We need initiative." Morgana dismissively responded, reluctantly ignoring the cat part.

Asuka frowned and took out her phone. "Uhhh...Kunikazu Okumura. Okumura Foods Headquarters." She soon guessed.

[Candidate found.]

"Well that was obvious." Homura muttered.

"But that was the easy part. Now we need his distortion." Morgana soon pointed out.

Nodding to that, the two girls and the not cat began pondering on what keyword it would be. "Alright, let's get this out of the way. Jail. Prison." Homura got out.

[No candidate found.]

"Uh...Factory?" Asuka soon suggested. "Or a farm?" She then added.

[No candidate found.]

"Ugh, this is always annoying." Homura grumbled in annoyance before calming herself down.

"Okay okay okay. Let's think about this. What do we know about Okumura?" Morgana questioned.

"It's not like we know anything about him, other than the fact that he's some jackass CEO." Homura pointed out before blinking and looking up at the building. "I mean...the building's right here. We can always just break in and gather the info we need." She then suggested.

"Aren't you worried about security?" Morgana meanwhile asked.

"Hmm..." Asuka hummed out as she closed her eyes in thought. "Well, given his high stature, he must be using the latest security systems money can buy. Motion detectors, security cameras, probably ten guards every floor. And if we try to break a window, it'll set off an alarm." She soon assumed.

"That's all standard for headquarters, Sis." Homura responded.

"Yes. Standard. Which is why they probably use certain brands, and no security is perfect." Asuka suddenly gasped as the pieces of the puzzle began to fit together in her head. "And from the looks of it...I'd say it's a company other than Kirijo. Their stuff is too expensive for such a scale. So, if we..." She then mumbled as she continued talking to herself.

"Wow, you're good at this, Sis." Homura praised in an impressed manner. "I mean, I always knew you were good but not to this extent." She then added.

"I've dealt with these types of security systems before. I even broke into a place like this on the last mission I was on solo as a test." Asuka revealed and informed.

"...Wait, I thought you got caught on that mission." Homura remembered with a concerned look.

"Only after I completed my objective." Asuka insisted before gaining a thoughtful look. "Hmmm...got it." She suddenly announced with a snap of her fingers.

"Huh!?" Morgana got out in an incredulous tone.

"That camera's fake and so is that one. The only real security measure is the motion detector in between." Asuka eventually informed as she pointed to a set of three security cameras on the side of the building. "If we manage to get that detector disabled, that will become a perfect place to start our infiltration." She then explained.

"Not bad Sis." Homura praised in an impressed manner.

"Yeah. Good job." Morgana mumbled in an empty tone.

"But how do we do that?" Homura then asked.

"Let's go to a private spot." Morgana soon suggested. "Just to make sure no one notices us disappearing all of a sudden." He then explained.

"Again. No one here." Homura reminded, yet still following his suggestion as she and Asuka wandered off to find a nice, quiet spot to plan out their dastardly deeds.

"I see the side entrance...and the motion detector." Homura informed her team. "Anyone have any ideas on how to disable it without causing the entire building to go on high alert?" She then asked.

"Easy." Asuka responded with a smirk before quickly creating a rock about the size of her palm...and then threw it at the detector with precise accuracy.

CRACK!

"And destroyed." Asuka concluded.

"I thought you were going to do something a little more...elegant." Morgana admitted.

"Hey, whatever works." Homura responded as she shrugged her shoulders. "Now, let's do this thing." She then got out as she cracked her knuckles.

"Okay. Hold tight, Morgana." Asuka advised, urging the not cat to do so.

"Of course, Lady Asuka." Morgana responded as he got comfortable. "Okay, deep breaths. Deep breaths. Deep BREEEEAAAHHHHHH!" He then screamed.

WHOOSH!

And with that, they were gone.

Haru soon gasped as she saw this. "Are...Are Asu-chan and the Disciplinary Head shinobis!?" She quietly breathed out.

A wave of shock filled her entirely. She did not expect that at all.

And why were they breaking into her father's place of work?

...

Maybe it was time to put her old shinobi training to work since it has been a long while for her.

WHOOSH!

However, just as everyone disappeared, a certain pinkette arrived on the scene on foot, backpack on her back while wearing a striped shirt under a light pink jacket, some simple denim jeans and black-and-white sneakers. "Wow, this place is so big!" Hibari stated in amazement, noticing the building before shaking her head to focus on a more important matter. "Ah! Focus, Hibari. You're here to take note of entrances and chokepoints." She then muttered before continuing her mission that was assigned to her by her sensei back at Hanzō Academy.

And with that, she then proceeded towards the entrance of the headquarters, wanting to prove herself as a shinobi Elite even further.

(Kunikazu Okumura's Office)

It had only taken a few minutes to beat Okumura's security system. While most of it consisted of motion detectors and cameras, Asuka and Homura had dealt with all of them without raising even the silent alarm. They had to admit though, the security guards were actually much more competent than the usual riff-raff they had dealt with in the past, but they were still nowhere near the level of a shinobi. Speaking of which, no shinobi to speak of which was a major relief.

Who knows what would happen if they were caught?

WHOOSH!

"Whew, what a rush." Morgana breathed out after they reappeared all of a sudden inside the building. "That was masterful work! We were like shadows in the night! Good work." He then praised.

"No problem." Homura got out as she put the cat down on the floor. "Are we sure this is Okumura's office?" She soon asked.

They were now what seemed to be in front of the glass doors that led to their target's personal office inside the headquarters building.

"It's big and fancy, and there's a secretary desk right over there. This should be it." Morgana assumed, seeing said things through the glass doors. "Okay, this door probably can only be opened from the inside or through the secretary desk so let's-"

CRRREEAAAAKKK!

However, the not cat was interrupted by Asuka simply pushing the door open without any effort.

"...Why is the office unlocked?" Homura whispered in disbelief as they stepped inside.

"Maybe he's getting old, but that doesn't matter right now. Come on, we better make this quick before a guard swings by." Morgana suggested and instructed.

The sisters nodded to that before they went about searching the office...unaware that someone had beaten them by seconds, and was now hiding in the very room they were in.

"This is the best place I could think of to hide!?" Haru mentally exclaimed in embarrassment and shame from under her father's desk. "Okay, Haru, what do you do now?" She then mentally asked herself.

Confront the girls? Continue hiding? Sneak attack? Moh, being kidnapped was way easier than this entire situation!

"Dammit, everything is too high!" Morgana complained, gazing at the shelves filled with valued items, most of them were books.

"You also don't have opposable thumbs." Homura added. "Let us do the work here. Don't worry your fluffy little head over it." She then decided.

"O-Okay." Morgana responded in a small voice.

This meanwhile confused Haru as she heard meowing. "Are they...talking to a kitty cat?" She mentally wondered in a curious manner.

"He has a lot of books on space..." Asuka noticed as she pulled out a few books from the shelves. "And a few modeling kit magazines..." She then added with a raised eyebrow.

"He must really wanna be an astronaut." Homura joked to herself as she headed over to the desk, where the fluffy haired girl began to cover her mouth so that her breathing wouldn't give her away. "Okay, now where do you keep the good stuff?" She then mumbled to herself.

"Please don't notice me, please don't notice me...!" Haru thought as she saw the tan skinned girl kneel down to check the lower drawers, however the tan skinned girl herself was too focused on her current task to notice someone hiding in the shadows.

"Huh? What are all these? Resumes?" Homura got out in confusion as she pulled them out of the drawer. "I thought something like this should be taken care of by his subordinates." She then muttered.

"What's on them?" Morgana soon asked as Haru flinched.

"Seems all standard..." Homura reported before narrowing her eyes. "Wait a minute...there's a pattern here." She noticed.

"What do you have?" Asuka pressed.

"They're all heirs to some pretty big companies." Homura informed as she flipped through the resumes. "Rei, Akari, Sugimura, Murasame...some of these resumes have been rejected. One of them multiple times." She then added as he focused on the resume with multiple rejection stamps on it. She couldn't help but feel sorry for this Murasame guy, even though the profile photo of him attached on his resume did kinda look like an asshole she would punch the face off of.

"Why would heirs to big companies apply here for work?" Morgana questioned with a frown.

"A merger, perhaps?" Homura assumed before shaking her head. "It doesn't matter. This doesn't have anything we can use." She then sighed as she put the files away before pulling out some more. "Oh, but this might." She soon got out.

"What did you find?" Asuka asked.

"A lot of Human Resource complaints..." Homura muttered as she sorted through the files. "Man, some of these are from a decade ago. And looks like nothing was done to resolve them, or just...put a band-aid on a bleeding wound." She then revealed.

"He really is torturing his employees." Morgana concluded.

"Yeah. This seems like he's overworking them to the bone. Some have practically made their place of work their homes." Asuka soon stated with a concerned expression on her face. "And...yep, that's under minimum wage. How is he getting away with this!?" She then informed and asked.

"A lot of CEOs can subvert the law with enough money." Homura answered. "Not for long, asshole." She then added.

"Let Team Heart take care of that. Right now, we're just ensuring we have a viable backup plan." Morgana responded and reminded.

"I don't know..." Asuka muttered. "We can't just let something like this go any longer. I don't want to just stand by and let people live miserable lives." She soon admitted.

"We seriously need to work on our hero complexes." Homura sighed as she shook her head. "Because I'm itching to steal his Treasure too." She then confessed.

"We can do that...later." Morgana got out.

However, the tan skinned girl noticed the hitch in his sentence. "What was that pause?" Homura asked.

"Nothing." The not cat brushed off.

The Vice Leader blinked before deciding to explore the office more, coming around to the desk. "Eh?" Asuka got out as she picked up the picture frame from the desk.

In it was a photo that depicted three young girls in formal dresses and who appeared to be their fathers. One with fluffy hair that exposed her forehead in light pink, another with a paper bag over her head in light red, and finally a regal looking short haired ravenette in light purple with a hat atop her head.

But to the Vice Leader, she recognized the face right away. "...Ikaruga-chan?" Asuka breathed out in confusion and shock. Her friend from Hanzō Academy knew Okumura?

"Hey Sis, is something wrong?" Homura soon asked.

"N-Nothing." Asuka responded as she put the picture down. "Sorry. I think we have what we need for his last keyword." She then stated. They had spent too much time in the office, anyways.

"Well, what is it?" Homura questioned.

"Hmm..." Asuka hummed out before glancing over to all the space books on the office shelves, as well as the little Biggles™ stress ball on the desk. "Big Bang Burger..." She soon muttered as she thought about part of the name of it and their slogan. "Big Bang..." She thought to herself. "Maybe...outer space? Spaceship? Spaceport? Space station?" She then suggested.

[Candidate found. Conditions have been met.]

The trio in turn blinked as they were about to get the correct term. "Well, that was obvious in hindsight." Homura admitted.

"Alright. We have a path now." Morgana got out. "Ready to go?" He soon asked.

"Yeah, and hopefully, no more random civilians joining us accidentally." Homura got out with a fist pump, unaware of the random civilian that was just poking her head out from under the desk behind her.

[Now entering...Kunikazu Okumura's Space Station of Greed]

Nearby, Haru suddenly felt a smooth jolt inside her, as her surroundings started to shift for some reason. "Ah! W-What the-!?" She softly muttered in panicked confusion.

"Hey, wait! No no no! Stop the process! Moh! I thought this was fixed!" Asuka yelped as she tried to stop the process. "Oh no, where are we gonna end up!?" She then exclaimed.

"Ummm...hopefully the Treasure?" Morgana nervously guessed.

"...We are not that lucky, Mona." Homura deadpanned.

And with that, everyone in the room vanished from this reality.

At the same moment, a knock on the door was heard before it opened, revealing a certain pinkette while poking her head inside the office. "Hello?" She called out, only to see that the room was empty.

Huh. Guess it was her imagination.

(Kunikazu's Space Station of Greed)

The Thieves blinked as the world changed around them, the office melting away into a futuristic space station with more lights and neon than Kamurocho at night, with the familiar uneasiness and oppressive atmosphere weighing down on them.

As expected for the two shinobi Phantom Thieves, they were now in their Thief outfits.

"So this is his Palace..." Yang started as she looked around. "A frickin' space station..." She then added.

"Space Station of Greed huh?" Yin muttered as she looked at her phone before looking towards a window. "Wow..." She then got out in amazement. She could see Earth from where they were.

"Yeah, it is impressive." Yang admitted in agreement as she looked at herself. "Huh, already in our Thieves outfits." She then noted.

"We're already considered threats then." Mona informed. "Given the recent developments like the poll, of course he would have his guard up." He then assumed.

"Well, it isn't like this is unusual for us." Yin reminded. "Plus, we can use our Personas. We should be good as long as we avoid drawing too much attention." She then added while examining her pistols.

"We should probably not use our guns here then." Yang soon advised as she checked her SMGs. She was going to need new ones soon. "One stray bullet and we get to enjoy the thrill of violent decompression and what happens when someone freezes and/or suffocates in space." She then noted.

"O-Ouch." Mona got out with a wince. "We'll make sure not to." He then stated in reassurance.

"Okay...now where are we exactly?" Yin soon asked.

"No idea." Yang responded as she used her Third Eye. "Urgh, we should've done this at the entrance. Now we have to hunt down a map of the place and that's going to be a whole other pain in the ass." She then remarked.

"Well, there's no use in standing around here." Mona got out in an authoritative manner. "We have Goho-Ms?" He soon asked.

"Hai." Yin confirmed with a nod.

"Good. Let's do some exploration." Mona declared.

The girls in turn nodded to this as the trio headed out.

Meanwhile, Haru opened her eyes and noticed that she wasn't under her father's desk anymore. Instead, she noticed a dark metal wall with illuminated lights as its touch. "...Oh no..." She whispered as panic started to fill her body. "W-Where am I?" She soon asked in confusion while looking around.

Instantly, she saw Asuka and Homura near- what were those outfits? "They're even more risque than Katsu-chan's!" She mentally exclaimed before blinking.

Oh no, they were leaving and as far as she knew they were her only tickets out of this weird place- is that freaking Earth out there!?

The fluffy haired girl soon shook her head to regain her composure. "F-Focus!" Haru squeaked as she slapped her cheeks. "Okay, I'm in space now. That's...not the best scenario, but something I can work with. I better follow them and hope they guide me to an exit. If they spot me, they might kill me so um..." She muttered before patting her pockets.

Nope. The one time she leaves her kunai and smoke signal at home...

Well, no matter. She can get out of this mess without weapons. If they don't let her out of here, she can just...use Ika-chan's interrogation tactics and break a few bones. That should get the info she needed.

And oh my, did she love the sounds of bones breaking...

Elsewhere, the trio was looking around the corner as they noticed the guards patrolling the area...and were the definition of weird.

"All these guards look like super advanced trash cans. I can't tell where their masks are..." Yin mumbled quietly.

"It looks more like old-timey dildos to me, but they don't need to know that." Yang thought. "Should we risk getting into a fight?" She soon asked.

"We need to know what type of Shadows we're dealing with here." Mona pointed out. "Any information we can get on our enemy makes our real infiltration easier." He then stated.

"...Okay, but we better play this smart." Yin advised. "Who's going to ambush them?" She soon asked.

"I'll do it." Mona offered while readying himself.

"You're really showing initiative today, Mona." Yang remarked. "Did Joker slip you some of the good tuna this morning?" She then asked.

Mona didn't reply as he focused on the guard he picked out as his target. He watched as it communicated with another guard with beeps and boops before it left to patrol its programmed area alone.

"Purrrfect." Mona meowed out with a smirk. "You're mine now!" He soon declared before ripping off what appeared to be a mask.

RIP! SPLATTER!

(Cue The Duty of Good by Mutsumi Ishimura)

"We got two Ambassadors of Filth and a Pulsing Mud and a Storm-Invoking Ptarmigan!" Mona soon informed as he landed back on the ground while Yin and Yang jumped out of cover.

"Oh God, it's the freakin' toilet Shadows from the castle!" Yin exclaimed as she flailed her arms around.

"Also, that Pulsing Mud is just a black Slime from the first couple of floors of Mementos!" Yang meanwhile noted.

"Guess humanity's collective consciousness got lazy." Mona assumed. "Alright, buy me time while I figure out their weaknesses. Just don't do anything rash!" He soon ordered.

"Got it, Mona-chan!" Yin replied as she readied herself. "I really hope we don't run into another-" She then started.

"Do not! Dig up! The past!" Yang called out before glaring at the Shadows in front of them. "Now, which one of you would like to die last?" She soon questioned.

"I'LL POOP ON YOU!" One of the Ambassadors growled.

"...Yeah, you're first." Yang decided in a flat tone. She was gonna enjoy herself now. "Shred them, Wolverine! Gokuentou!" She commanded as she tore off her mask in a savage manner.

FWOOSH! SLASH!

"Hah! That's a weakness if I've ever seen one!" Yang declared in satisfaction.

"Way to go, Yang-neechan!" Yin praised.

"Y-Yeah! Go for the other one!" Mona added, but felt as if his words fell on deaf ears as Yang performed another attack.

FWOOSH! SLASH!

"Got 'em both! Next up are the Slimes!" Yang announced.

"Hm, if they're really like the Slimes we encountered before." Yin whispered. "Black Oozes might resist physical and guns! Go for magic just in case!" She soon assumed and instructed.

"Got it, Sis!" Yang responded, putting her blades away and taking out her twin fans while going into her Noh Style stance. "Burn them, Wolverine! Agilao!" She soon commanded in a calm tone, doing a twirl as she removed her mask.

FWOOSH!

"YEOW! HOT HOT HOT!" The Back Ooze yelped...right before it was engulfed in flames.

"Burned!" Yang got out in satisfaction at the sight.

"I can follow this up!" Mona soon offered.

"No, I got it! You conserve your SP, Mona!" Yang however offered with a smirk under her mask as she took out an item. "Air Cannon!" She called out while using it.

FWOOSH!

"AAAHHH!" The Shadow got out in even more pain as the Black Ooze began to melt into a puddle.

"Once more!" The Vice Leader called out with a fist pump before Yang high-fived her and reached into the duffle bag. "Let's go for an instant kill! Sacramental Bread!" She then called out as she threw the item at the Thunderbird.

SHINE!

"I-Instant kill..." Mona breathed out in disbelief.

"Yes!" Yin cheered as they dashed up and aimed at the Shadows. "Wanna go for an All-Out Attack, guys?" She soon suggested.

"Well-" Mona began, however...

"I'm still feeling good!" Yang interrupted, feeling her blood pumping through her body. "Let them get up, I wanna finish this the fun way!" She then got out.

"If you say so!" Yin responded with a nod as she put away her guns.

"Wait-" Mona tried to stop the girls, but was ignored as they allowed the Shadows to get up and recover.

"I'm passing the baton! Yang-neechan! Take down the last two!" Yin soon declared as she raised her hand.

CLAP!

"With pleasure!" Yang laughed, eager to take down those two toilet demons. "If you're anything like the fiend from back then...Persona, Gokuentou!" She then declared as she elegantly tore off her mask.

FWOOSH! SLASH!

"GGGAAAHHHH!" The Shadow got out in pain. "What the hell!? I was in the middle of something...!" It then ranted in frustration.

"Hey, it isn't the first time I've killed someone while they were on the toilet." Yang casually revealed. "Wolverine! Kill that last one!" She soon commanded.

"Gokuentou!" Wolverine declared.

FWOOSH! WHIFF!

"What the!?" Yang exclaimed in surprise upon seeing her other self miss point blank. "Get it together!" She then yelled at her Persona, who looked quite sheepish.

"Look out!" Mona warned.

"Bufudyne!" The remaining Bephelagor shouted out as he aimed for Yang.

CRACKLE!

"AAAHHH!" The tan skinned girl screamed, stumbling back from the attack.

"Yang-neechan!" Yin exclaimed in a panic.

"I-I'm okay..." Yang shivered out with chattering teeth. "Urgh...okay, got too into it..." She then mumbled, scolding herself for letting the fight get to her.

"Are you sure?" Mona meanwhile asked.

"N-Not weak to it but that still h-hurt like hell..." Yang shivered as she rubbed her hands together. "N-Need some healing...and some hot chocolate..." She then muttered.

Mona's eyes widened to that. Finally, he had something to do! "Me-" He then started,

"Medirama!" Yin announced, summoning Kaeru. "Keep fighting everyone!" She soon called out.

"Thanks Yin!" Yang responded.

"Y-Yeah...thanks." Mona mumbled out, feeling smaller and smaller as the battle went on without him.

"Aerial Rave?" Yang suggested.

"Hai! Everyone, Aerial Rave time!" Yin responded and ordered.

"Let's go!" Yin and Yang declared as they rushed the Shadows...although Mona simply did nothing.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

"Mission...complete!" The sisters declared as the Shadows exploded into nothing but smoke.

(End Music)

"They were nothing." Yang breathed out, putting her fans away before wiping off some black blood off her mask.

"You guys...took out everyone..." Mona meanwhile stated in disappointment.

"Well, it was kinda mostly me..." Yang mumbled before the girls noticed how...sad the not cat looked.

"Mona-chan?" Yin called out in concern.

"Why are you sad? Getting to sit back and watch the chaos should be a good thing." Yang meanwhile pointed out. "These Shadows don't seem all that tough, though this is still probably just the weaker ones with their strongest being closer to the Treasure." She then noted.

The not cat however sighed in response. "Lady Yin...Lady Yang?" Mona started, getting the sisters' attention. "...Do you think I'm useless?" He suddenly asked in a depressed tone.

This however surprised and confused the two girls. "What!? Why would you ask that? Of course you're not useless." Yin responded in disbelief to even hearing that.

The white full face masked girl meanwhile nodded in agreement to that. "Yeah, you're one of the medics of the Phantom Thieves. Without you, we would've died ten times over inside the castle." Yang then stated before her eyes widened. "It's because of what Skull said at the beach isn't it?" She soon guessed.

Lowering his head, Mona meekly nodded to that. He had to admit, the fact that Yang still remembered that time was quite impressive.

This in turn caused the tan skinned girl to groan in annoyance. "Ugh, dammit Skull..." She muttered in annoyance.

"Skull has been praising Oracle a lot lately..." Yin muttered out as she leaned down and began petting the not cat's head. "It's ok Mona-chan, we'll scold Skull after this." She then decided.

"No. It's not his fault." Mona suddenly stated, surprising and confusing both girls. "I mean, all I'm good for is driving you guys around in Mementos." He then reminded.

"There's more to you than being a car, Mona-chan." Yin countered.

"Oh yeah? What is it, Lady Yin?" Mona questioned as he faced her.

"You're the reason we're all together in the first place." Yang pointed out. "And you keep us on task when we start to stray too far, right?" She then added.

"You find it annoying. You don't have to lie to me." Mona, on the other hand, accused in depression.

"We have never expressed such a thing." Yang however stated. "Come on, Mona, you're getting trapped in your head. Okay, you didn't do anything this time but you have done amazing things before and after this moment. The grappling hooks, navigation, just letting us understand this world! Without you, we wouldn't be able to change hearts and save people." She soon added.

"And now we're being framed for murder, with a Conspiracy determined to take us down and make us take all the blame for their crimes. Not to mention the attention we're attracting from shinobi." Mona then reminded.

"Mona-chan, those are things outside of our control, and we knew we would attract shinobi attention when we decided to change Kamoshida's heart. You shouldn't blame yourself for that, nor what happened to the principal." Yin reminded the not cat.

"Lady Yin, you're too nice to tell it to my face that I make things worse! Besides, Queen and Oracle can provide way better support than me. You really don't need me now." Mona countered as a depressed expression formed on his face. "And haven't I endangered everyone because of my reactions to Treasure? Lady Yang is right. Maybe...Maybe I am better off as just a cat." He soon suggested, however...

TWACK!

Suddenly and surprisingly, Yin slapped the not cat over the head. "Mona-chan, don't you dare say things like that! We all make mistakes and we all aren't perfect." She then declared. "Now shut up and realize you're just as important to the Phantom Thieves as everyone else. You are stronger than all the things you think make you weak." She then ordered.

The not cat meanwhile began rubbing his head in response to the strike. "Ow...! You didn't have to hit so hard, Lady Yin!" Mona got out.

"S-Sorry..." Yin got out. "But you need to realize you aren't useless." She then added.

"And I'm sorry I keep calling you a cat. Didn't think it would hit you so hard..." Yang apologized with a shameful look on her face. "But we really need to keep going. Standing around and talking will only get us killed." She then advised.

Suddenly, the hair on the back of everyone's neck raised as they heard something. It sounded like a squeak, but not something from a mouse.

It was human.

"Something's nearby." Mona whispered. "Get ready for anything." He then suggested as he slowly pulled out his curved sword.

"Is it a Shadow, Mona-chan?" Yin questioned as she gripped onto her wakizashi.

"It doesn't feel like it." Mona responded with a frown. "All I'm aware of is that whoever is hiding over there hasn't sounded the alarm and raised the security level. It could be a cognition." He then stated and assumed.

"A cognition? We've never had one of those stray off like that just because they noticed us. They're usually subservient." Yang muttered with a frown. "Either way, we can't let them get away and call the guards. We should silence them and then keep going." She then suggested.

"Or we could interrogate them and get info on the ruler." Mona added.

"Well, given the amount of security we've seen, we can't do both." Yang pointed out. "Sis, it's up to you." She then got out while she and the not cat turned to the Vice Leader.

"Yep. Do we talk it out, or shoot first?" Mona then asked.

The Vice Leader hummed before making her decision. "Talk it out. We might be able to convince them to stay quiet, at least until we leave." She answered.

"I don't know...killing them would be quicker." Yang admitted.

"Given the nature of this place, it wouldn't be surprising for them to have some sort of monitor to keep track of them." Mona however muttered. "We shouldn't take the chance. Let's go about silencing them non-lethally." He then added.

To that, the girls nodded and turned towards the source of the noise. "We know you're hiding over there!" Yang called out as she pulled out her SMGs and walked slowly towards the hiding spot. "Either you show yourself right now, or I'll do it myself!" She then threatened.

"Don't test her! She's like a wild tiger when she doesn't get what she wants!" Mona added in a serious tone.

"I'm more of a dragon..." Yang muttered under her breath as the Thieves drew closer and closer. "Come out, now." She soon ordered in a tone of cold fury.

There were a few seconds where nothing happened, and they were about to simply run over and tackle whoever it was down to the ground, when they heard a sigh of defeat before walking out from around the corner.

"Um...pardon me?" A very familiar girl politely got out with a nervous blush on her face.

"E-Eh?" Yin got out in confusion.

"Oh dear God, not again!" Yang cursed as she clutched her head in frustration.

"H-Haru-chan!?" Yin mentally exclaimed as the blood drained from her face underneath her mask.

"You know her?" Mona questioned.

"Yes. She's Asuka's friend who she introduced to everyone in Hawaii." Yang explained. "What are you doing here?" She then demanded from the fluffy haired girl.

"I was hoping you would know." Haru replied as she poked her fingers together.

"Well...it's hard to explain." Yin confessed as she scratched her cheek. "Wait, if you're here...you were in the office with us when we navigated here. How did you break into a highly guarded building without anyone noticing?" She soon realized and questioned in an authoritative tone.

"E-Erm...my father owns the building?" Haru nervously answered, too afraid to reveal her more...advanced skills at the moment.

"Owns the...?" Yin and Mona repeated in incredulous manners.

The tan skinned girl meanwhile blinked to this as a thought came to her mind. "Hold on, are you related to Kunikazu Okumura?" Yang soon asked.

Haru in turn nodded to that. "Yes, I am." She replied as she then looked around. "Um...where exactly are we?" She soon asked in a polite yet concerned manner.

The three Phantom Thieves then looked at one another before sighing. "That's...hard to explain, H-Ha- erm, Okumura-san..." Yin awkwardly responded in an uneasy tone.

"We're in space." Haru whimpered. Honestly, any answer would be fine right now.

"Yeah..." Yin awkwardly muttered as she avoided the girl's gaze.

The tan skinned girl then leaned over close to her sister's ear. "Sis, why didn't you mention that she was the daughter of a CEO!?" Yang whispered in a stressed manner.

"I...I never asked for her family name...it seemed like a touchy subject to her..." Yin responded as she sweated nervously.

"Everyone, don't panic." Mona began before looking at the fluffy haired girl. "Okumura-san, I need you to stay calm and come with us." He then instructed.

"..." Haru, however, just stared at the not cat with widened eyes.

"What?" Mona got out in confusion.

"Aw~! How adorable!" Haru cooed out with sparkles in her eyes as she picked up the not cat. "And who might you be?" She soon asked in a curious manner.

"M-Mona. Now, can you please put me dow- purrrrr~..." The not cat began to request, only to begin purring as the fluffy haired girl began petting him in the right spot.

Yang meanwhile snorted in amusement to the sight.

"Um...we probably should go somewhere a little more private than this." Yin soon suggested as she cautiously looked around. "There are a ton of guards patrolling the area so we better find a safe room." She then added.

"Safe room?" Haru repeated with a raised eyebrow.

"Nope, not now. Later." Yang insisted as she grabbed the fluffy haired girl's arm and dragged her with her towards somewhere other than here.

Some time later, after running down several hallways...

"The distortion feels lighter here..." Mona suddenly announced before smirking. "Hah! Safe room, 12 o'clock!" He then informed.

"Finally..." Yang breathed out in relief before turning to the heiress. "Head inside right now. Then we can talk." She then instructed.

"Hai." Haru nodded as she followed the Thieves to the room.

(Safe Room)

Yin opened the door for everyone and hurried everyone inside, double-checking for any guards before closing the door and letting out a breath. "Always good to find places like these." She got out in relief.

"This place..." Haru started as she looked around. "It feels much different than everywhere else." She then noted as she saw glimpses of what appeared to be an office cubicle. "Huh? Is this...the office floor of my father's building?" She then assumed.

"This is where your father's cognition is lighter, where he has less control over this world." Mona explained. "We're safe here. Sit down and relax." He then reassured and requested.

"Do you want some soda? I have some right here." Yin offered.

"I'd prefer water." Haru responded.

"Well, the only drinks we have are soda and thermoses of coffee." Yin informed as she rummaged through the duffle bag. "Wow, this is from three months ago!" She then got out in surprise as she pulled out a particularly dented up can.

"I'll take the coffee then." Haru soon decided.

"Okay." Yin responded with a nod.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions, Haru." Yang assumed as the fluffy haired girl nodded. "So, let's get them out of the way by telling you everything we know before you even need to ask." She then stated. Man, she really wished she had gotten some pamphlets from Joker. "Bah, just something to add to the list of scenarios we need to prepare for." She soon added in her head.

Mona nodded to that. "Basically, where we are now isn't reality, but an alternate dimension created from humanity's consciousness and desires. This place specifically was created by your father. It's how he views the world around him, particularly the Okumura Foods Headquarters." He informed.

"A-Are you saying my father sees the company as a space station?" Haru soon asked as she looked around. "I...I guess that does make sense..." She then meekly added.

"Yeah, if Big Bang Burger didn't give it away." Yang responded. "Look, we need to get you out of here as soon as possible. This place is not safe, and you'll get really sick if you're here too long." She then stated and warned.

"Sick?" Haru repeated in a curious manner.

"A killer headache, dizziness, nausea, and being unable to tell the difference between reality and the Metaverse for a couple of hours." Mona simplified.

Haru however tilted her head in response. "Really?" She soon asked.

"Yes. Now, it's about time we ended things here. Yin, get us out." Mona responded and requested.

"Hai!" Yin responded with a nod before pulling out a Goho-M and smashing it on the ground. However, nothing happened. "Eh?" She got out.

"Try another one." Mona soon ordered.

And so, Yin did it again but had the same results.

"What!? Why aren't our Goho-Ms working!?" Yang got out before taking a breath. "Okay, stay calm. Maybe it's just the amount of distortion around, so we need to find a place where it's a lot lighter. Haru, stay close behind us, hide if we get into a fight, and don't do anything stupid. We're professionals." She then instructed.

"Okay." Haru responded with a nod.

"Good. Now, let's move." Yang ordered as they began to make their way out of the safe room.

"Oh, before we go, would you two happen to be Asu-chan and Homura-san from school?" Haru soon asked.

SHATTER!

The sounds of mental glass were immediately heard from the trio of thieves. "...Who's Asuka and Homura? Th-They sound like t-total...um..." Yang tried to lie but was just too stunned to really make up something convincing. "I-I mean...Uh...Hey, Mona, do you know any Brainwash spells?" She soon asked in a quiet manner.

Meanwhile, Haru screamed internally as she had good enough hearing to hear they could brainwash people, but kept a pleasant expression on her face.

"Lady Yang, you know I specialize in wind and healing spells." Mona reminded in a whisper.

"W-What makes you think we're those girls?" Yin nervously asked.

Haru only answered by glancing downwards.

"Moh..." Yin groaned as she covered her chest.

"Okay, fine. We're caught." Yang relented, giving up on attempting to remain unknown.

"Hi, Haru-chan." Yin meekly got out with a wave.

"Hello, Asu-chan." Haru replied, having quite a neutral expression on her face right now.

"Hey, stick to codenames please." Mona requested.

"I was about to ask about that..." Haru confessed.

"It's only to ensure the ruler doesn't antagonize us in reality." Mona immediately answered. "You're safe though, Haru. Your father shouldn't treat you any different when you're out of here." He then assured.

"..." Haru internally winced before letting out an empty sigh of relief, just to alleviate the others. Now was not the time to be worrying about that.

"Anyways, our recon mission has officially become an exfiltration." Mona declared. "We didn't gather enough intel on Okumura's Palace to call our recon a success, but that can be solved at a later date, which probably should've been the case earlier. Right now, our most important objective is getting Haru out of here." He then summarized.

"Hai." Yin and Yang responded with a nod.

"Okumura-san, please exercise common sense and try not to panic. Our enemy will take advantage of that." Mona soon advised the fluffy haired girl.

"I will try my best Mona-chan." Haru assured with a nod.

"Okay. Now, let's get moving before dawn. Don't want any of you to be late for school tomorrow." Mona then commanded.

"You're thinking about our education now?" Yang got out in disbelief.

"Just because we're in a life or death situation now, does not mean we should ignore the immediate future." Mona answered.

"Well, at least he's being considerate?" Haru got out with a giggle as they left.

(Somewhere in Okumura's Palace...?)

The group soon started making their way through the space station, avoiding every Shadow they came across just so Haru wouldn't be caught in the crossfire. It seemed like they were making good progress.

However, after wandering around for a while, they began to realize that some of these areas looked...familiar to them. As if they were going around in circles.

"Wait. Are we going further in or out?" Yang suddenly asked, causing everyone to stop in their tracks.

"Eh? I thought you knew where we were going." Yin got out in surprise.

"No I don't. I was following Mona." Yang responded as she began to swear nervously.

"I was following you!" Mona exclaimed before palming his face. "Crap, we're totally lost." He soon groaned out.

"Great, we don't even know if we're even going to an exit." Yang sighed out as she began to pace around.

"I thought you guys were professionals." Haru reminded in a worried tone.

"We are! We just don't have the right equipment!" Yang snapped before rubbing her forehead. "Hrrrn...we should've just saved this for tomorrow..." She then grumbled.

"Hey, we still have this under control!" Mona responded, jumping in the air while flailing his limbs. "We just need to stay calm, and not alert any Shadows of our presence!" He then instructed.

"WE HAVE FOUND THE INVADERS. PROCEED TO WEAPONS PRODUCTION AND ELIMINATE THEM."

"Crap." Mona groaned as he heard several guards burst into Shadows as alarms blared around them.

"Oh, COME ON!" Yang growled out as they got out their weapons. "We can't just get in and get out, can we?" She then remarked in annoyance.

"W-What are these things!?" Haru got out in a nervous manner. There's no way these could be the Yōma creatures Katsu-chan once mentioned, right!?

"Shadows." Mona answered as he took out his slingshot, unintentionally relieving the fluffy haired girl's fear...for the moment.

"Haru-chan, stand back!" Yin warned as she twirled her swords before going into her battle stance. "Things are about to get messy. Everyone, go under my Direct Command!" She soon ordered.

"Roger that, Vice Leader!" Yang responded with a nod.

"Mona-chan! Blow them away and give us some space!" Yin commanded as she fired her pistols and the Shadows, getting a headshot with every trigger pull.

"Got it! Zorro, Magarula!" Mona called out as blue flames flared under his feet.

WOOSH!

The fluffy haired girl covered her head to prevent the gusts of wind getting into her eyes before staring in awe. "Wow~! You can summon ghosts!?" Haru got out with widened eyes.

"WHERE!?" Yang exclaimed, nearly dropping her weapons and looking away from the enemy...only to get shot in the back of the head. "Ow! Hey, who did that!? Come here, shithead!" She then growled in annoyance as she went off to kill the asshole who managed to get the cheap shot.

"They're manifestations of our rebellious spirit!" Mona explained.

"So...your personal ghosts?" Haru soon assumed in amazement.

"...Sure, let's go with that for now." Mona decided to end it there so he could focus on the Shadows trying to kill them. "She is taking this much better than expected..." He soon noted.

"Enemies first, escape with Haru-senpai after!" Yang soon ordered. "GO! WOLVERINE!" She called out.

Yin nodded to that before ripping off her mask. "Come on, Kaeru!" She soon commanded.

"Show 'em our resolve, Zorro!" Mona joined in before they all sent out their Personas to fight off the Shadows.

Haru could only watch on in awe as she watched the Thieves fight. "This is definitely different than watching Ika-chan and Katsu-chan fight!" She thought to herself in amazement. This was crazier than anything she's ever seen before!

Soon though, it was becoming apparent that they were slowing down fast, unable to keep up with all the enemies around them as they were also starting to get exhausted.

"We're being overwhelmed!" Mona called out.

"Haru-chan! Run!" Yin shouted out before being blasted down. "AHHH!" She got out in pain.

"Asu-chan!" Haru exclaimed before being tackled down by the tan skinned girl, barely avoiding being turned into a popsicle by a Belphegor. "W-Wha..." She got out.

"Haru, what did we say? Don't do anything stupid." Yang got out through gritted teeth before rushing over to the Vice Leader. "Come on, Yin! Get up!" She struggled in a nervous manner.

"I-I'm trying...ohhh...my head..." Yin groaned out.

"Spirit Drain!" A Woman Who Brings Ruin suddenly called out, aiming at the tan skinned girl.

"Eh!?" Yang managed to get out before her energy was drained from her body. "N-No..." She grunted before wincing from a headache.

And with that, an Awakened God stepped in front of the horde to finish the girls off. "Abysmal Surge!" It soon announced.

"Wait! NO!" Mona cried out, but it was too late as the sisters fell into Despair.

Soon enough, the sisters collasped to their knees as the world melted around them. "N-No...No! SIS, where are you!?" Yang exclaimed in a panic as her eyes dulled. "Oh God, don't take her away from me!" She deliriously begged.

"It...It's all nothing...nothing...I can't feel...I can't breathe...there's nothing..." Yin began to monotonously drone, falling to her knees as fell deeper and deeper.

"Why do all these assholes have Despair spells!?" Mona complained before dashing over to the girls and blowing away all the enemies near them. "HARU, GET THEM OUTTA HERE!" He then called out.

"W-What!? What's happening to them!?" Haru exclaimed in confusion.

"JUST DO IT!" Mona however ordered before charging at the Shadows with Zorro at his side.

"W-Wait!" Haru got out in a panic.

WOOSH! CLASH!

The not cat soon blew away a few of the Shadows and clashed his sword against another's fist. "I can fend them off for a while!" Mona called out. "I need you to snap them out of it before it's too late!" He then ordered.

"Too late for-" Haru began to press before seeing Yin raise one of her guns to her head. "AH!" She then yelped before slapping the pistol out of the Vice Leader's hand.

"Let me end it...let me end this torture..." Yin soon begged in a monotone voice.

"I'll kill everyone...I'll kill you and everyone you love...then I'll kill everyone else and then myself...!" Yang growled despite the tears flowing from her eyes.

Now, most people would be freaking the hell out over needing to snap people out of suicidal thoughts while in the middle of a battle, but Haru wasn't like most people with everything she had been through. Sure, she was completely unprepared but she could handle this as long as she stayed calm.

"Okay, they're under some sort of illusion. Maybe the shinobi way of getting them out of it may work." Haru thought as she made sure to disarm the two before they could hurt themselves...even though she was aware they could just bite their tongues off and bleed to death and- "Not the time to think like that, Haru." She scolded herself before focusing on the task at hand.

Meanwhile, Mona had blown away a Shadow with Zorro before shooting another in the head with his slingshot. "Come one, come all! I have enough firepower to take you all out!" He screamed as his Persona landed a Miracle Punch on one more enemy.

"Someone kill that stupid thing already!" One of the Shadows soon ordered.

The not cat instantly turned towards the Shadow with a fierce look in his eyes. "I am not a thing! I am the legendary Mona of the Phantom Thieves!" He soon declared before charging in. "RRRRAAAAHHHH!" He roared while doing so along with his Persona.

"Monsieur, we cannot fight them all by ourselves!" Zorro informed as the two fought in tandem. "May I suggest more pragmatic strategies?" He then offered.

"No! We have to keep fighting! Keep going! Keep these guys the hell off our friends!" Mona responded as he sliced off a Storm-Invoking Ptarmigan's head.

"We do not have the skills to be at the center of attention for long, senõr." Zorro however stated.

"I!" Mona began, narrowing them as he took out his slingshot.

PLINK!

"Don't!" Mona continued as he dropped his slingshot and switched to his slash once he ran out of ammo.

SLASH!

"CARE!" Mona concluded as he rushed in with his cutlass.

WOOOOOSH!

"So...keep 'em coming." Mona then breathed out as the next wave came.

With Haru, however, she was struggling to break the spell afflicting Yin and Yang.

"U-Um...think about puppies and rainbows and...um...c-coffee..." Haru stammered out, clearly grasping at straws. "There's so many wonderful things out in the world to experience! You cannot kill yourself before you can!" She then encouraged.

"This world...is terrible...it took everything from me...it makes me miserable..." Yang mumbled, wallowing in her Despair.

"End it all...end it all..." Yin droned on.

SLAP! SLAP!

"Stop saying such things!" Haru called out. "Ugh, I've already slapped them five times already! Nothing is working!" She then thought, clenching her hands into fists.

Then she looked down at those tightened fists and got an idea.

Okay, civilian gloves off.

"Sorry, but this is for your own good." Haru cracked her knuckles, raised the tan skinned girl's mask and...

WHAM!

"AGH!" Yang cried out in pain as the fluffy haired girl delivered her best left hook to her face, returning the lights to the tan skinned girl's eyes.

"T-That worked!" Haru breathed out in relief, waving her hand a little to shake off the soreness from punching the girl. She really should get back into proper shape like a shinobi was.

"O-Ow..." Yang groaned as she held her cheek before realizing what had happened. "God-fucking-dammit, I hate Despair...!" She growled as she punched the floor, making a sizable dent in it.

"Are you okay?" Haru asked in concern, although was relieved that she managed to get one of them back.

"Just another experience to suppress for the rest of my life." Yang responded before seeing her sister's current state. "Oh no, Yin!" She then got out before rushing over.

"Can you fix her?" Haru asked.

The tan skinned girl nodded almost absent-mindedly, purely focused on saving Yin. "Sis? Sis!? Asuka!" Yang called out as she shook her sister's shoulder before pulling out her paper fan. "Come on, snap out of it!" She then begged in a panic.

SLAP!

"Let it end...let it end..." Yin begged in her monotone voice.

"What!?" Yang exclaimed in shock. "I said, SNAP OUT OF IT!" She soon roared.

SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!

"Let it end...let it end...let it all end please..." Yin however kept repeating in the same tone.

"Why isn't it working!?" Yang questioned in a panic before quickly digging into the duffle bag to find something, anything to get rid of this affliction.

Suddenly, Mona's ear-piercing screams of pain filled the air, causing the Vice Leader to return to reality.

"Mona-chan!" Haru and Yin cried out in unison.

The not cat struggled to stand back up despite how much damage he sustained defending the girls by himself. His scarf was gone, his usually pristine fur burnt and stained with blood in several places, and his helmet cracked and chipped. "Z-Zorro...please...I need you..." He pleaded, but he did not come.

And so, he fell. Defeated.

"Dammit, he needs our help!" Yin called out as she tried to get to him, only for her limbs to give out on her before she even got to her feet. "A-Agh...no...my body..." She groaned.

"Ngh...I screwed up..." Mona soon confessed in shame and regret.

"Morgana, don't say that!" Yang called out before the effects of her empty Spirit Pool flared, causing her to collapse. "Dammit!" She swore out.

"Haru-chan...go..." Yin soon ordered.

"W-What?" Haru gasped.

"I can buy some time..." The Vice Leader explained as she sucked in her lips to stop herself before groaning in pain. "I'll distract them, you go find somewhere to hide. We'll...find you...maybe." She then informed.

"I..." Haru shook her head. She wanted to stay, to fight, but she started to feel more and more hopeless as these monsters drew closer and closer.

"Don't worry about me." Yin interrupted before taking a deep breath. "After all...the Phantom Thieves have already won." She then assured in the most confident tone she could muster.

Meanwhile, Shadows began to surround the not cat, ready to kill him first before they took care of his friends. "M-Mas...ter...?" Mona meanwhile quietly groaned before nearly letting himself fall unconscious.

However, something stopped him.

"HAH!" Haru grunted out as she kicked the closest Shadow away from the not cat before grabbing another and throwing them into the horde, clearing the immediate area and knocking several of them down like bowling pins.

"Whoa..." Yin whispered out as the others stared in awe. She barely even saw her move!

The fluffy haired girl soon looked around at all the enemies around her and gave each and every one of them a surprisingly scary look. "Leave him alone!" Haru soon demanded as a yellow gleam appeared in her eyes for a moment as a small burst of power caused several Shadows to stumble back.

"Wait a minute, I know that look..." Yang got out as her eyes widened before smirking underneath her mask. "Yes! Just what we needed!" She soon declared.

Fwoosh!

Suddenly, an axe appeared in the fluffy haired girl's hands as she swung it. "YAAAAH!" Haru exclaimed as she used all her weight, slicing a Shadow in half while her clothes then suddenly changed in a flicker of violet flames into something more befitting of a rebel.

A dark purple cavalier hat with a feather plume tucked into a royal purple hatband, a long-sleeved pale pink blouse with a white neck jabot held there by a red gem pin a black corset vest with gold buttons, bloomers that match her hatband, black pantyhose, a holster belt carrying ammo and lace-up pumps. Finally, she had a set of violet purple gloves on and a black masquerade mask resting over her eyes.

Instantly, the sight of a newly awakened Persona-user allowed the Thieves to rise to their feet. "YES!" Yang cheered with a fist pump.

"Go Haru-chan!" Yin also cheered.

"Another Persona-user..." Mona breathed out.

Haru soon hefted her axe over her shoulder and glared at the Shadows in front of her. "I won't let others fight my battles anymore! This time...I'll take my fate into my own hands!" She soon stated and declared.

"Capture her! Kill the rest!" The leading Shadow ordered.

"Bring it." Haru simply responded as everyone got ready for a fight.

"...Where's your Persona, Haru?" Yang asked.

"Persona?" Haru repeated in innocent confusion.

"Mediarama!" Yin commanded as her Persona healed everyone. "No time! We need to fight these guys off before we can escape!" She soon reminded.

"O-Okay." Haru breathed out before taking a deep breath. "I will not be a bystander any longer! Have at you!" She then declared.

(Cue Will Power by Shoji Meguro)

"There's still a ton of enemies we need to fight through before we can make our escape!" Mona stated as they stared down their enemies, silently daring them to make the first move. "This is going to be tough. We need to work as a team if we want all of us to make it out alive!" He then declared.

"Kinda obvious that was the plan, Mona!" Yang responded as she cracked her neck.

"Don't worry, with Haru-chan and her Persona, we'll make it without a scratch!" Yin called out in a confident manner.

"My Persona..." Haru whispered as she gripped her axe. "I shall perform to the best of my abilities! I won't let these things hurt my friends any longer!" She soon declared in a passionate manner.

"You better practice what you preach, because here they come!" Yang shouted out as the first set of Shadows stepped forward.

"A Decarabia, a Lilim, a Black Ooze, and a Mothman!" Mona soon listed off as he scanned the enemies.

"Easy enough." Yang responded with a nod as she readied herself.

"Haru-chan! Use a spell on them!" Yin commanded.

"What!? I-I am not a magician!" Haru informed, confused by the sudden request.

"Huh? Is she pure physical or something!?" Yang assumed as she sliced through a Shadow. "Haru, tear off your mask! Summon your Persona!" She then ordered.

"U-Um...okay." Haru replied with a nod before gripping the side of her mask with a firm hold. "Hrrrrnnnn...AAAHHH! VANQUISH MY ENEMIES!" She then cried out as she tore her mask off her face, some blood spraying as a result.

fwoosh

And out came a...what seemed to be a Treasure Demon without the gem and purple eyes. It seemed like it was barely keeping itself together as its form glitches like a TV with bad reception.

"...What?" Yin got out in disbelief.

"Huh, I was...expecting...more?" Mona confessed in an awkward tone.

"W-Who cares about what it looks like! Take them d-down, Haru!" Yang soon ordered, although the slight pauses in her voice betrayed her.

Haru took a deep breath and raised her hands as the name of a spell came to mind. "Persona! P-Psi!" She soon commanded in a shaky tone.

"We got a Psychokinesis user now!" The trio thought in excitement. Now the Phantom Thieves had access to every element to use in combat and-

Weep

The Shadow she was aiming at didn't even flinch.

"H-Haru-chan, that Shadow is immune to-" Yin began, however...

"No." Mona interrupted. "No it isn't." He then revealed.

"That was underwhelming." Yang bluntly admitted.

"W-What's wrong with Haru-chan's Persona!?" Yin soon exclaimed.

"We don't have time to discuss that!" Mona called out as he shook off the sight of that (frankly weak) display. "She still has the weapons and strength from awakening her rebellious soul, we can still fight our way out of this!" He then added.

"H-Hai, Mona-chan." Haru shakily nodded as she gripped her axe. At least she was good at chopping wood.

"Chop that one up, Haru-chan!" Yin ordered as she pointed at the Vicious Pentagram.

"Hai!" Haru responded as she rushed in. "Come here!" She soon commanded as she swung.

CHOP!

"MY EYE!" The Decarabia screamed in agony as the fluffy haired girl messily pulled her axe out of its eye and kicked away from it to return to her friends.

Haru let out a breath in awe of her work. That felt...liberating.

"That's a clean knock down!" Yang announced with a smile.

"Yes! Now we're getting somewhere!" Mona cheered. "Keep the pressure up!" He then called out.

"Keep going, Haru-chan!" Yin ordered.

"What else can I do!?" The fluffy haired girl soon asked.

"Use your gun!" Yang shouted out.

"I have a gun!?" Haru exclaimed before patting herself down, only pausing as she found something on her back. "Oh! I found it!" She then called out as she pulled out a Multilateral MGL; a six round grenade launcher.

"...Is that what I think that is?" Yang soon asked in disbelief and shock.

"Well, it isn't as bad as the minigun..." Yin muttered out.

"Oh no." Mona whispered as the trio dove for cover, hoping to whatever higher power that actually liked them to not allow the fluffy haired girl's new weapon to bounce and explode on them.

Haru, not even sure what was going to happen when she fired it, closed her eyes and pulled the trigger.

PHOMP! BOOM!

"GAH!"

Haru blinked as the Shadows exploded into black mist...before smiling widely. "...Hehehe...Hahaha!" She then giggled in excitement and a sparkle in her eyes as she readied her next shot.

"...Eh?" The trio got out in confusion upon hearing that.

PHOMP! BOOM! PHOMP! BOOM! PHOMP! BOOM! PHOMP! BOOM! PHOMP! BOOM!

"Um...Haru-chan...? Why are you laughing like that?" Yin asked, but the laughing girl was too busy at the moment to answer as more and more Shadows died at her hands.

PHOMP! BOOM!

"RUN AWAY!"

PHOMP! BOOM!

"WHO GAVE HER GRENADES!?"

PHOMP! BOOM!

"HAVE MERCY!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Haru however cackled with a grin as her body count rose with every explosion.

"That's...probably just the adrenaline." Yang eventually assumed in a hopeful manner as they watched the fluffy haired girl decimate their enemies with no sign of stopping any time soon. "Or she has her own pent up aggression she needed to release." She then added.

"How many rounds does she have in that thing!?" Mona exclaimed.

Click!

"Huh?" Haru got out in confusion, shaking her weapon before the cylinder swung out and emptied the spent casings. "I-I'm out of ammo!" She soon informed in disappointment with the hint of a pout on her face.

"Don't worry, you've thinned down their numbers to something more manageable." Yang reassured with a smirk as they stared down the last three Shadows. "Let's do this. PERSONA!" She soon commanded.

"Gokuentou!" Wolverine roared as she charged in with her raised claws.

FWOOSH! SLASH!

"Down!" Yang declared, smirking underneath her mask. "You're up, Vice Leader!" She then called out while giving her sister a high-five.

"Thank you! Mamagnara!" Yin called out as Kaeru stomped her foot on the ground, causing the floor to quake as pillars of earth shot out of the ground.

RUMBLE! CRACK!

"AAAGGGGHHHH!"

"Mona! Give us the finale!" Yin called out as she high-fived the not cat.

"With pleasure!" Mona replied with a grin. "Zorro! Miracle Punch!" He soon commanded.

BONK!

"AH! Seriously!?"

"They're all down!" Yang called out.

"Aim your gun at them, Haru!" Mona quickly informed the fluffy haired girl before they surrounded the remaining Shadows. "Say the word, Leader!" He then got out.

"This is it! Follow our lead Haru-chan! All-Out Attack!" Yin commanded as they rushed down the last of their enemies.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! CHOP!

Haru soon landed in front of the other before pulling off an elegant pose. "Au revoir." She declared before the Shadows burst.

SPLATTER!

(End Music)

"Any reinforcements?" Yang asked the not cat while aiming her guns around the room, ready to shoot at anything that came their way.

"Nope. We're good for now." Mona informed with a confident nod, cuing the Thieves to relax.

Soon enough, the Vice Leader turned and hugged her friend. "You did amazing, Haru-chan!" Yin got out in a proud manner.

"And you look really nice in that outfit." Yang admitted with a nod of approval.

"Eh?" Haru got out in confusion before realizing that her clothes had changed. At least they were both cute and cool at the same time. "O-Oh. Thank you. Too bad I couldn't have helped more. My Persona doesn't seem to be all that strong..." She then muttered, looking a little down.

"We can work with it for now." Mona assured. "We can get you into fighting shape in no time. isn't that right, Yang." He then added with confidence.

"Mona, you're being a little presumptuous here." Yang pointed out with a frown. "She isn't going to join us automatically if we ask." She then reminded.

"You mean I can't?" Haru however asked in concern.

Yang meanwhile gained an uncomfortable expression to this, though it couldn't be seen due to her mask. "It's just...you really shouldn't get involved with us right now. A lot of things are happening outside of our control. It's why we're here in the first place."

"Then let me help." Haru soon offered.

"Don't make any rash decisions, Haru-chan." Yin however stated. "Take a moment to rest. The fatigue should hit any moment now." She then instructed.

"I feel...f-fine. Just a little dizzy." Haru assured. "I want to help my friends, even if it puts my life on the line." She then confessed.

"You really aren't gonna let this go..." Yang muttered with a frown. "Just...think about it while we make our way back." She then instructed.

"You weren't this worried when Queen got her Persona." Mona remarked. "You were even looking forward to it." He then reminded.

"Well, circumstances changed." Yang countered in a serious tone. "We weren't being framed with murder after all."

"Ah! I knew the Phantom Thieves didn't kill the principal!" Haru got out in relief. "So the Phantom Thieves' message on the Phan-Site was true and from you guys too!" She then added.

"It is." Mona confirmed with a nod."I mean, do we look like killers to you?" He then questioned as he put his paws on his hips.

"..." Haru simply stared at the two girls and the not cat, formulating an answer in her head.

"...Actually, don't answer that." Mona soon stated, realizing he wouldn't like whatever the answer would be no matter what she said.

Haru nodded to that before frowning.

"Is there anything else on your mind, Haru?" Yang sighed, wanting this whole thing to move along. "Less questions to mull over means better focus on getting the hell out of here so don't be afraid to ask." She then assured.

"Yeah, Haru-chan! We won't lie to you." Yin added with a smile...which was hidden behind her mask.

And that was what Haru was afraid of. But...if she was going to be their ally, she needed to be a little open about her relationships with other, more dangerous people.

Taking in a deep breath, the heiress found the courage to speak. "Asu-chan...Homu-chan...pardon me for asking but...are you two shinobi?" Haru asked in a serious yet curious tone.

SHINK!

Suddenly, there was a blade to her neck. "You've got ten seconds to explain, Okumura." Yang threatened.

"I can't say now. Just know that I have dealt with shinobi related business before." Haru quickly answered, acting oddly calmer than the Thieves were expecting.

"...So it wasn't some dyed blond idiot dumbass shouting it out with a megaphone?" Yang had to ask.

"What?" Haru got out in confusion.

"No time! More guards should be coming our way, so we can't stay here. Let's move, people!" Mona ordered as he ran off.

"H-Hai!" Haru responded before the girls went after him, still not sure if they were going towards an exit.

Meanwhile, the trio of veterans were really wondering how the fluffy haired girl knew about the existence of shinobis, but also knew they had to worry about that later.

(Somewhere else in Okumura's Palace...)

The group soon stopped running as they took a moment to catch their breath and study their surroundings. They had just spent an hour trying to find an exit but had absolutely no luck. Things looked different from where they were previously but it still wasn't easy to ensure they weren't going around in circles.

"Okay, where are we now!?" Yang exclaimed as she looked around.

"I don't know! We haven't stumbled upon a map yet!" Mona called out before noticing the large glass window right near them, displaying a nice view of the Earth. "Wow, that's a nice view..." He muttered in awe.

"Everyone stay calm!" Yin called out as she took a second to breathe. They were lost, low on energy and supplies, and the security level had risen after getting caught several times. It wasn't looking good, but it hadn't become unsalvageable. "U-Um...let's go down that way!" She soon decided, pointing down one of the two other available hallways in the area.

"Are you sure that's the way?" Yang had to ask with a frown.

"No, but it's better than standing around, talking." Yin replied.

"Hai!" Haru responded in agreement, however...

"INVADERS FOUND."

"GO BACK! GO BACK!" Yin frantically ordered as they skidded to a stop and ran back down the hall to head for the other way, only to see even more Shadows coming down there. "Nope! Back the way we came!" She then called out.

"Too late! More guards!" Mona exclaimed as the Shadows began to surround them.

"Dammit, there's nowhere we can run..." Yang muttered as they pressed their backs against the window.

Haru's eyes suddenly widened as she looked back into the vast darkness of space.

"Haru-chan?" Yin got out in concern, wondering why the heiress was staring outside rather than focusing on what was happening inside.

"Get back." Haru soon requested...before taking out her grenade launcher.

"Wait! What are you-!?" Mona exclaimed before...

PHOMP! BOOM! SHATTER!

In an instant, all the air in the room rushed out into the vacuum of space, bringing all the guards that surrounded the Thieves with it. Meanwhile, the girls and not cat hit the deck and let the robots fly over them, but they were slowly being dragged out into space as well, with Mona barely staying in with his claws.

"Warning. Breech detected in Section N-2434. This is not a drill."

"HANG ON!" Yin called out as she stabbed her swords into the floor before managing to catch the not cat in mid-air before he shared the same fate as all the guards as they compressed before exploding.

The tan skinned girl did the same with one of her katanas while the fluffy haired girl used her axe. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST DO!?" Yang exclaimed in a panic.

"SOLVED OUR PROBLEM!" Haru called out, holding onto her axe for dear life with one hand while her other hand was holding onto her hat to prevent it from flying away.

"BY CREATING A WORSE ONE!?" Yang called out. "...Actually, that's probably on-brand for us." She then admitted under her breath.

"WHY ISN'T IT GETTING SEALED ALREADY!?" Mona got out in confusion. "DON'T SPACE STATIONS HAVE THAT SORT OF THING IN CASE OF A BREACH!?" He then assumed.

"Reminder: Due to budget cuts, employees must seal breaches in the hull using the provided sealing kit."

"OH COME ON!" Yang exclaimed in frustration upon hearing that. She almost expected a guard or a cognition to come over and try, only to join their friends in experiencing the fun of explosive decompression.

"I'M SLIPPING!" Yin exclaimed while holding onto the not cat as tight as she could.

"APP! ACTIVATE THE APP!" Mona meanwhile ordered.

"WE DON'T KNOW WHERE WE'LL END UP!" Yin reminded.

"IT'S BETTER THAN DYING IN DEEP SPACE!" Yang responded before pulling out her phone...only for it to be sucked out into space as well. "SHIT!" She swore.

"DID WE NEED THAT!?" Haru asked.

"KINDA!" Yin responded, as she adjusted her grip. Her gloves were seriously making it harder to keep a handle on her swords.

Mona frowned as he watched the phone get thrown out into space. There was no way they were going to find the exit any time soon even if they managed to get out of this situation. The security level was probably through the roof because of this stunt.

So, the not cat did the most sensible thing...and bit into the Vice Leader's arm, causing her to let go of him.

"MONA-CHAN!" Yin screamed as the not cat was sucked away. Almost on instinct, she pulled out her wakizashi and went after him!

"NO! SIS!" Yang cried out before watching the fluffy haired girl let go of her axe and get sucked out. "AAHH! DAMMIT!" She then swore before returning her katanas, letting herself get pulled out into space as well.

Instantly, once they were spat out into the vacuum of space, everything went silent with nothing but their heartbeats in their ears while they held their breaths.

"How the hell did we end up here!?" Homura mentally panicked. "Hebijo did not teach us how to survive in space! This is not in my training! But...space is kind of like being underwater, right? Just without ocean pressure and in zero gravity. No, wait, this isn't like that at all! Just...focus on making your air last long enough to save the stupid cat." She then thought to herself before taking a quick look of her surroundings.

Okay, some debris, a lot of pieces from the guards that nearly killed them. Because they were sucked into space, they were traveling towards the planet at very fast speed. Probably going to take their corpses at least several days before they entered the atmosphere and burned up on re-entry.

"Wait...NOW'S NOT THE TIME TO BE WORRYING ABOUT THAT! WHERE'S SIS!?" Yang mentally exclaimed as she frantically began looking for her sister and the others. She soon found her, as her bright clothes completely contrasted the darkness, but was instantly horrified as she saw the Vice Leader clutching onto her throat. "NO! FUCK!" She nearly screamed before stopping herself.

Meanwhile, the Vice Leader was regretting not taking a deep breath before letting go to go after the not cat. She had barely lasted a minute before her lung began to empty completely.

She was seriously panicking now, until a flash of inspiration hit her. She quickly dug into the duffle bag and grabbed a Gale Magatama and channeled her energy through it. With that, a bubble of air was created for a second, allowing her to take a deep enough breath to live that little bit longer. "Okay! Safe for at least a couple more minutes!" Yin mentally got out in brief relief. "Now to find Mona-chan and get back to the station...somehow." She then thought before seeing the heiress. "What!? No, no no no!" She mentally exclaimed in a panic.

Haru, who was seriously on the verge of a panic attack, focused on finding Yin and Mona before they died. She didn't know how long any of them could last before they ran out of breath.

Haru soon saw her first highschool friend in the distance, and tried to get to her but no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't move closer. And that's when panic began to settle in. She flailed around as she realized she had no control over her momentum as well as her rapidly decreasing air.

Yin almost opened her mouth to tell her that moving around like that was going to make her lose air faster, but stopped herself before she lost her breath first. "She'll die if we don't stop her!" She thought in a panic. She tried to swim over to her, but that didn't work as Okumura understood physics too well. Then, she spotted her older sister trying to swim over to her as well. "Homu-neechan! She's closer, she can save Haru-chan! But how is she going to..." She then thought, trying to think of a way to get everyone to last that few minutes longer.

Yang meanwhile noticed this, making eye contact with the flailing girl. Her mind rapidly tried to find a solution to the insane mess they've got themselves into. "No air means no fire. I have to find something to launch off of..." Yang thought before her eyes widened. "...Why not use myself? PERSONA!" She mentally realized before tearing off her mask, summoning Wolverine to her side. "Push me over to her!" She soon commanded mentally while pointing to the flailing girl.

"Hey, this is not my first rodeo in space." Wolverine stated before pushing her real self over to the fluffy haired girl.

"Wait what?" Yang thought in confusion before shaking her head. She was slowly losing oxygen to the brain so she'd rather save her brain cells for keeping everyone alive.

Soon enough, Yang managed to grab onto the fluffy haired girl and stopped her flailing. "Got her!" She mentally got out in relief. However, there was still another problem: Haru's face began to turn blue.

Yang didn't have enough time to get to her sister to pass something over to them for air so..."I'm so glad the boys aren't here." She thought before lifting her mask up, pulling the girl close and...began giving her mouth-to-mouth.

"Mmm..." Haru moaned out, only for her eyes to widen at seeing what the tan skinned girl was doing for her. "Mmm...mmph? MMPH!?" She then squeaked, a hot red blush flaring in her cheeks.

Yang however only gave the fluffy haired girl a serious look.

And with that, Haru accepted the air in exchange of her first kiss, regaining her healthy pale skin.

"There, she's good." Yang thought in relief as she pulled her lips away. "Now, where the hell is Morgana!?" She soon asked in her head before realizing something else. "Shit! We're going too far from the station! We'll never make it back!" She then added.

"Mona-chan, where...are...you..." Yin thought as she began to feel light-headed. Suddenly, her eyes widened as she saw his black fur glisten in the sunlight. And he was still going after the phone! "Mona-chan!" She mentally exclaimed.

Meanwhile, the not cat had managed to find the phone and kept focused on it. His low SP prevented him from using his wind spells to give him extra time, so he waited for the right opportunity to use it. "I only have one chance..." He mentally struggled out while glancing over to the girls.

Yang was using Wolverine to push her and the fluffy haired girl over to the Vice Leader, she herself was struggling to keep him in her sights. "Gotta make sure everyone is together..." She then stated in her head, even as she felt her body begin to weaken.

"Mona-chan...please...hurry..." Yin pleaded as her eyelids began to grow heavier by the second.

"Now!" Summoning Zorro, Mona quickly used the last of his SP to cast a wind spell to blast him forward towards the phone and, with his lungs barely holding on, managed to reach it and open the app. However, darkness was beginning to edge into his vision, feeling weaker and weaker by the second. "No...I can...save...everyone..." He struggled out as he forced all his remaining strength into his paw.

Tap...

And then...just about when everyone began to lose consciousness...

[Now exiting...]

(Roppongi, Okumura Foods Headquarters)

Soon, a ripple in reality appeared in the lobby of the Okumura Foods HQ, spitting the Thieves out like...well, like they shot out a window on a space station and got themselves sucked out.

"WHOA!" Morgana exclaimed before the Vice Leader managed to wrap her arms around before they-

SHATTER! CRASH!

"U-Urgh..." The girls and Morgana groaned from the floor.

[You have now returned to the real world. Have a nice day.]

"Thank you." Morgana moaned in a muffled manner from within the Vice Leader's bust.

The Vice Leader soon let the not cat out of her protective hug and stood up, coughing and sucking as much air as she could. "Okay...not our cleanest exit..." Asuka groaned as she brushed the glass off her uniform.

"Yeah, most of my exits don't involve crashing through shit." Homura coughed out while helping the heiress to feet. "Are you ok, Haru?" She soon asked as she then noticed her phone and picked it up, surprised to see it not broken.

"I'm fine, I just..." Haru assured before frantically looking around in worry. "Oh no, my father's statue!" She then got out in a panic.

"His what now?" The sisters asked at the same time.

"The statue he commissioned as soon as he moved the headquarters to this building." Haru informed as she looked down. The others soon followed her gaze to see the small mountain of debris right by them, with the only intact part being the CEO's head.

"...How much was that statue?" Homura asked the rich girl as they stared at the rubble that was once a carefully crafted marble sculpture.

"548 million yen." Haru answered. "Is that bad?" She then wondered before seeing the smashed and cracked windows around them.

The Thieves blinked, already hearing people running to their location. "Yeah, we better run." Morgana suggested.

"...Did that kitty just talk?" Haru got out in disbelief.

"CHEESE IT!" Homura shouted out as she grabbed the fluffy haired girl's top and disappeared, while the Vice Leader did the same with the not cat and followed suit.

(Roppongi, Subway Station)

After escaping the headquarters, the group headed underground to the subway station. The place was almost entirely empty since it was close to the time the trains would shut down for the night, giving them the privacy they needed to discuss and process what had just happened to them.

"...Did anyone expect to go to space today?" Homura eventually asked, breaking the silence.

"No." Morgana spoke up.

"Nope." Asuka shook her head.

"Yes." Haru responded with a nod before blinking. "Wait, I mean no." She then corrected herself.

"Oh, I really hope we don't have any brain damage from that whole thing back there..." Homura muttered as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Um...Homura-chan, about before..." Haru began, a pink blush on her face while twiddling her fingers once more.

"It was the only way to make sure you survived at the time." Homura explained. "If it's a big deal to you, don't let it. People do this all the time when they do CPR. It's fine. But if you can't, well...I'm sorry for doing such a thing without permission." She then stated and apologized.

"O-Oh..." Haru responded in realization as she then calmed down a bit. "Well...I'll try to not let it be that...big of an event." She then replied.

"Thank you." Homura breathed out before unconsciously smacking her lips together. "Coffee..." She then whispered a little too loud, causing the fluffy haired girl to blush even harder.

"What happened?" Morgana soon asked in a confused manner.

"Nothing!" The two yelped at the same time before looking towards one another and giggled in amusement.

"Don't...Don't worry about it, Mona-chan." Haru soon got out.

"Alright..." Morgana responded. "Well, that could've gone better." He then admitted.

"Actually, I think this is about the same as some of our other infiltrations." Asuka admitted. "Nearly die, drag a civilian into the Metaverse, they get a Persona, and then running for our lives. The only thing missing is meeting the Palace Ruler." She then listed off and concluded.

"Yeah...we've been at this for, what? Six months, and we still suck at it." Homura sighed as she shook her head. "Are we just magnets for trouble or what?" She soon asked.

"Um, I'm sure it's just bad luck." Haru comforted the tan skinned girl. "Besides, you're probably not as bad as me." She then stated.

"Huh?" Homura got out in confusion.

"I mean, you're not as bad as you think." Haru corrected herself.

"Hey, if we ever build a space station, remind me not to put a single window in it. Too much of a structural weakness." Homura groaned. "And for you to stay as far away from it as possible." She then added as she narrowed her eyes at the heiress.

"S-Sorry." Haru meekly apologized while twiddling her fingers.

"I don't think we'll ever have that type of money though..." Asuka pointed out.

"Actually, I'm actually more angry that I didn't think of doing that myself." Homura admitted. "Still, it was a bit reckless." She then confessed.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures." Mona got out. "At least we made it out alive." He then reminded.

"Just barely." Homura sighed out. "I still can't believe you decided that getting my phone was a good idea. We still had Sis's. I could afford a new phone. You also could've used your grappling hook to get it or at least stay attached to the station! We all nearly died over nothing!" She then reprimanded the not cat.

"Well, I-" Morgana tried to explain himself, however...

SMOOSH!

The tan skinned girl hugged the not cat as best as she could. "So you better be thankful I'm not throttling you right now for saving our lives." Homura then got out in a low tone.

"O-Oh." Morgana got out as he blushed. "It was no big deal." He then added.

"Wait...where did Haru-chan put her weapons?" Asuka soon remembered.

"I...I lost them." Haru sheepishly admitted.

Homura sighed and shook her head. "Where?" She soon asked.

"In deep space." Haru replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

The others blinked as they remembered seeing Haru's grenade launcher being sucked out and leaving her axe behind to go after Asuka and Morgana. "...Oh." Homura got out in a weak manner. "Well, we were probably gonna replace those anyways with higher quality equipment." She then muttered as she rubbed the back of her neck.

"Including the grenade launcher?" Haru soon asked.

"As long as you don't use it anywhere near a window." Homura responded, causing the heiress to wince. "Or, at least, warn us before you do something like that again." She then added.

"I understand." Haru agreed with a nod.

"Hey, don't feel too bad. This could be an opportunity. A real Phantom Thief usually doesn't use explosives." Morgana however reminded the group.

"Well, I know a few shinobi who do." Homura pointed out. "And rocket launchers. And guitars. And shields. And um...other non-standard weapons." She then added, mumbling under her breath.

"And one of our friends uses a minigun as a Phantom Thief." Asuka soon spoke up.

"Eh? Really?" Haru asked, strangely perking up at the thought. "...May I see it?" She soon asked in a curious manner.

"No, you may not." Morgana deadpanned.

"Aw..." The fluffy haired girl got out as she then took out her phone to check if she had missed any calls. "Hm? What is this app?" Haru soon wondered.

"That is how we entered that space station and left it." Homura answered. "Don't ask how it works, it just does. Don't question it." She then added.

"Okay..." Haru responded with a nod before a thought came to her mind. "So why were you at the headquarters so late?" She soon asked in a curious manner.

In response, the three veteran thieves gain uncomfortable expressions before calming down. "Haru...we didn't want to go after your father. At least not yet." Homura explained. "There's some sort of Conspiracy out to get his heart changed. They rigged the polls on the Phan-site and made him the No. 1 target." She soon revealed.

The heiress's eyes in turn widened to this revelation. "R-Really?" Haru breathed out in shock. "W-Why would they do that?" She soon asked.

"We don't know, but we plan to find out." Morgana answered. "Still...the fact that he has a Palace in the first place is concerning to say the least." He then admitted.

"And the abuse of his workers can't be ignored." Asuka soon stated. "Haru-chan, he's your father. I think you should have the final say in what we do here." She then suggested.

"You're...giving me the choice?" Haru asked in a hesitant manner.

"Yep. It's your call." Homura responded in a serious tone.

"Then I say we do it." Haru answered almost immediately.

This in turn caused the veterans to blink at how fast the decision was made. "You decided that awfully fast." Morgana noted. "Is there something you need to tell us about him?" He soon asked.

Haru in turn nodded. "My father...I really don't have the best relationship with him since my grandfather and mother passed away." She soon confessed. "And seeing what he puts the employees through...it's sickening. I don't want to live with knowing such things are happening right under my nose. I want to change my father's heart." She then stated and revealed in a determined tone.

"You have conviction." Morgana stated in an impressed manner. "But you don't exactly have a grasp on your Persona yet." He then reminded.

"Then I'll learn. I'll get stronger so I can fight by your side like a true Phantom Thief." Haru promised. "You'll teach me, right Asu-chan? Homu-chan? Mona-chan?" She soon assumed and requested.

"...Hai." Asuka responded with a nod. "Are we all in agreement?" She then asked the others.

"I don't see why not." Morgana replied.

"The more the merrier." Homura declared.

"It's settled then. Welcome to the Phantom Thieves, Haru-chan." Asuka got out with a smile.

"I guess the three of us should exchange numbers and chat IDs." Homura suggested as she took her phone out.

"Um, actually, I already have Asu-chan's number and I don't use IM." Haru soon revealed.

"Oh. Then let's just exchange each other's then and then work on getting you on IM. We're gonna need to stay in contact 24/7 if we want to do this right." Homura replied as she took her phone out.

"Mmhm." Haru responded with a nod as she took her own phone out.

["B3lladonna" has been added to your contacts.]

"And that's that." Homura concluded with a smile.

"Oh! What should we call you now by the way?" Asuka soon asked in a curious manner to the Okumura heiress.

"She looks just like a musketeer so maybe we can base it off that." Morgana suggested.

"Uh...But I don't know much about musketeers." Asuka sheepishly admitted.

"Me too." Homura admitted in agreement. "Wait...uh...Montoya? Indigo?" She soon suggested.

"That does not sound like anything related to musketeers." Morgana got out.

"Oh! I have an idea for a name." Haru happily replied. "Beauty Thief!" She soon suggested with a sparkle in her eyes.

The others instantly gave Haru an odd look. "...Uh..." Homura got out.

"Any explanation?" Morgana soon asked.

"It...sounds good?" Haru responded rather awkwardly.

"It'll do for now." Morgana got out. "Okay team, it's getting late. Let's end it here and head home." He then stated.

The girls nodded to that. After everything, they were ready to head to bed. "Do you need an escort back home?" Asuka soon offered the heiress.

"Oh no, that won't be necessary." Haru responded as she shook her head. "I'll see you two at school." She then stated with a smile.

"And maybe the rest of us if we have the chance." Homura added as they waved the heiress off.

"Do we tell the others about Haru-chan?" Asuka asked.

"We'll do it tomorrow. The next train is the last one running tonight." Homura decided. "You better get home too, Mona. Don't want you sleeping in the streets." She then advised.

"Actually, can I stay with guys tonight?" Morgana asked. "I don't feel like sleeping at Joker's." He then admitted.

"Uh, our apartment doesn't allow pets, remember?" Homura awkwardly reminded.

However, the Vice Leader noticed the sorry and miserable look on not cat's face. "...I'll sneak him in. Maybe it's for the best for now." Asuka got out as she picked up the not cat. "Don't worry, Morgana-chan. I'll buy some fish for you on the way home." She then offered as she petted the little guy.

"Thanks, Lady Asuka." Morgana breathed out.

"No problem, Mona-chan." Asuka responded in an assuring manner before picking him up and placing him in the duffle bag.

With that, the girls left for home, spending the entire trip back in silence.

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The sisters entered the apartment. The journey was uneventful, which was nice after the insanity of the last few hours.

Asuka set down the duffle bag and yawned, allowing the not cat to pop out and leave.

"You know, it feels kinda nice to be back here. Feels like it has been forever." Morgana breathed out, stretching his limbs.

"It has been, hasn't it?" Homura remarked. "We should fix that." She then muttered to herself.

"Well, make yourself at home, Morgana-chan." Asuka soon decided before wincing. "Ugh...I'm really too tired to draw a bath right now. We should just head straight to bed and get clean in the morning." She then confessed with a groan and sighed out.

"Sure." Homura agreed with a nod as they headed into their bedroom before laying down on their shared futon.

"Hope you don't mind, Lady Asuka." Morgana got out as he curled up on the Vice Leader's belly.

"I don't. Just be careful." Asuka responded as she got comfortable.

"Hey, before we go to bed, we better make sure we haven't missed anything while we were away." Homura soon suggested as they pulled out their phones.

"Ah!" Asuka got out. "We missed a group chat!" She soon informed in a panic.

The tan skinned girl's eyes widened before checking the group chat. "Last active three hours ago." Homura noted as she began to read the conversation.

[TheWildJ0ker: Hey guys, have you seen Morgana around? He just disappeared all of a sudden.]

[Alibaba9: Not in my room.]

[All4Painting: No, unfortunately.]

[Road2Queen: No, I haven't. Sorry, Leader.]

[Negative8Degrees: That is quite concerning...]

[Shut7heFUp: That's not like him.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Yeah. He would at least tell me...]

[Sweetkat06: Hey, Asuka-chan and Homura aren't online.]

[Road2Queen: Maybe they're asleep.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Who knows?]

[TheWildJ0ker: I really wish I was less paranoid. It's making me imagine too many bad scenarios.]

[Shut7heFUp: Don't worry, man. Morgana's probably doing something important. Just gotta wait for him to come back.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Yeah. I should calm down.]

"Everyone is pretty worried about you, Morgana-chan..." Asuka soon stated.

"Well, they shouldn't be. I can take care of myself." Morgana responded.

"Barring nearly dying back at the space station." Homura reminded.

"That was a fluke!" Morgana countered.

"We better update everyone..." Asuka got out as she began typing on her phone. "Wait, should we say that we entered the Palace?" She soon asked.

"Probably not." Homura responded. "Don't want Morgana here to get into trouble." She then added.

"Thank you, Lady Homura." Morgana responded in a grateful manner.

"You do that all by yourself." The tan skinned girl then added while petting his head.

"Aw, enough with the teasing already!" The not cat grumbled with a pout, despite the fact he was still smiling while the two began texting.

[SushiRoll23: Hey everyone! Sorry if we worried you all.]

[Shut7heFUp: You're finally online! What the hell were you guys doing?]

[FireGirl20: Me and Sis were getting some training done in a Kekkai for tomorrow.]

[Sweetkat06: Well, the timing couldn't have been any worse! Morgana's missing!]

[SushiRoll23: Huh? Oh, don't worry. Morgana-chan's staying with me and Homu-neechan tonight.]

[Sweetkat06: Eh?]

[TheWildJ0ker: Okay, can I ask him why? He didn't even inform me about it.]

"Lady Asuka, please don't tell the others." Morgana suddenly requested as he noticed the Leader's message. "I'd rather keep this to myself." He then informed.

"Mona-chan, I don't think that's a good idea." Asuka however pointed out in concern. "The others will want to help you. Not hurt you." She then added.

"That's not the problem." Morgana however responded. "I wanna be able to show everyone I'm still worth something, that I can pull my own weight. This may be my last chance to stay relevant to everyone." He then explained.

"...Okay, alright, Morgana. But don't let this get too big, okay? We're here for you." Homura sighed out.

"I won't." Morgana responded with a nod as the Vice Leader typed out their response.

[SushiRoll23: Ah, he said he smelled something fishy and went to go look.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Define something fishy for me, please.]

[All4Painting: He got lured away with tuna? Is that what you mean?]

[SushiRoll23: Not that kind of fishy, Yusuke-kun. He overheard a lead and went off to get more information. He got too distracted and ended up having to sleep at our place.]

[FireGirl20: Yeah, we'll take care of him for the night.]

[Alibaba9: Aren't you going to get in trouble for allowing pets?]

[FireGirl20: Shinobis here.]

[Alibaba9: Question retracted.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Alright. Good night everyone. We better work hard tomorrow.]

[Alibaba9: Sure thing, Leader.]

[Alibaba9: Question for Asuka and Homura, out of curiosity...can you actually hide Morgana between your boobs?]

[TheWildJ0ker: I said Good night everyone, Futaba.]

"I am no way small enough for such a thing. I'm not Hikage's puppy." Morgana stated with a frown. "B-Besides, a gentleman like myself won't take residence within a woman's f-f-funbags." He then insisted, only to crash and burn at the last moment.

But that does mean he has human desires, right?

"Mona, our funbags are for two things: Storage of items, and milk should we decide to settle down." Homura informed in a proper manner. "A...A being such as yourself has no place there." She then added.

"Well, we actually haven't tried though..." Asuka pointed out.

The tan skinned girl was about to retort, only to stop as she realized what they were talking about. "Why are we indulging in Futaba's weird fantasies...?" Homura groaned as she shook her head.

"It's a given." Morgana answered.

"What is that supposed to mean!?" Homura called out in an indignant tone. "...You were thinking back to the time you fell in-between Haruka's bust?" She then assumed in amusement.

"THAT WAS AN ACCIDENT!" Morgana immediately exclaimed with a scarlet blush on his face. "I-I mean...a perfectly timed distraction!" He then stated in a quieter tone.

"Yeah, yeah. Keep it in your non-existent pants." Homura giggled. "Well, that takes care of that." She then added.

"...Was it comfortable in there though?" Asuka however asked in a curious manner.

Morgana soon blushed pink in embarrassment. "It was...suffocating, but a nice type of suffocating." He admitted.

"I did not need to know that." Homura got out with a sweatdrop.

"Don't look at me like that. Blame Lady Asuka for asking in the first place." Mona grumbled. "...Why did you ask that?" He then asked.

"Well...um..." Asuka began before trailing off. "Curiosity like a cat?" She weakly answered.

"Curiosity kills the cat, Sis." Homura corrected.

"But satisfaction brought it back!" Asuka insisted. "B-Besides...there might be stuff like that in that Bootyland park thing..." She then stammered out.

Homura's eye immediately twitched to that. "Thanks for reminding me to talk to Yomi about that." She soon stated. She was definitely going to give the blonde beansprout lover a lecture for this.

"Wait...do you wanna go there when it opens?" Morgana soon assumed.

"N-No...Kinda." Asuka tried to deny it before confessing.

"Aw come on! Don't let that crappy advertising trap you!" Homura called out.

"But it would be nice to see at least once!" Asuka explained. "I think Haru-chan would like to go there." She then admitted.

"Wh-What makes you think that!?" Homura questioned in an incredulous tone.

"I mean...she could use the trip with friends..." Asuka muttered as she poked her fingers together.

"There are so many other places we could go to if we wanted to hang out with Haru that we can go to right now." Homura pointed out as she covered her face and groaned.

"Hey, speaking of Haru Okumura, there's still some things we need to discuss with her." Morgana soon recalled.

"Yes. We have to ask Haru about how she knows about shinobi." Homura then reminded.

"Ah. Let's see if she's up for it." Asuka responded as the two contacted their new friend.

[SushiRoll23: Haru-chan, did you make it home safe?]

[B3lladonna: Yes. I made it home alright and just got into bed after changing.]

[B3lladonna: It is a strange feeling.]

[FireGirl20: Strange feeling?]

[B3lladonna: I always believed the only people who would choose to communicate using my smartphone would be my father.]

[SushiRoll23: No one else?]

[B3lladonna: I don't know a lot of people.]

[SushiRoll23: We can fix that soon, but let's focus on more important topics.]

[FireGirl20: How do you know about shinobi?]

[B3lladonna: Oh that's quite simple.]

[B3lladonna: I've known shinobi practically all my life. My closest friends are shinobi.]

[SushiRoll23: So you're a shinobi as well?]

[B3lladonna: Oh no. Though I did have some training when I was younger.]

[B3lladonna: Though after my mother's passing, it ended.]

[B3lladonna: The only time I see shinobi is when my father hires them whenever I get kidnapped.]

[FireGirl20: Well, that all makes sense.]

(...)

[FireGirl20: Wait, what?]

[SushiRoll23: Kidnapped!? You've been kidnapped!?]

[B3lladonna: Four or five times every week, usually for ransom or shinobi training.]

[B3lladonna: It's quite fun! You should try it some time!]

(...)

[B3lladonna: Hello? Are you still there?]

[FireGirl20: Just picking our jaws off the floor.]

[B3lladonna: Ah. You should do that then.]

[SushiRoll23: WWWWWHHHHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT]

[SushiRoll23: Who has been saving you then!?]

[B3lladonna: I shouldn't say. They wish to keep their identities a secret and all that.]

[SushiRoll23: Is it Ikaruga-chan? From Hanzō Academy?]

(...)

(...)

[B3lladonna: No.]

[FireGirl20: You are a terrible liar even in text form.]

[SushiRoll23: I found a photo on your father's desk. Ikaruga-chan looked so cute as a kid! But there was another girl. She wore a paper bag over her head.]

[B3lladonna: My other friend I made as a child: Kumo-chan.]

[B3lladonna: I haven't seen her in years. I wonder how she's doing. I hope she's happy wherever she is now.]

[B3lladonna: Now that I've answered your question, may I ask mine now?]

[FireGirl20: Go ahead.]

[B3lladonna: What are we going to do tomorrow? Are we going back into my father's heart?]

"Oh..." Asuka got out as she realized they had no idea what their next move would be. "Mona-chan, what are we doing tomorrow?" She soon asked.

"Sis, you're the one in charge here." Homura reminded.

"Well, it's important to get everyone's opinion." Asuka stated before turning to the not cat. "So, what do you say?" She then asked.

"Well...we can't let ourselves be caught out like that again (which was my fault), and after that while space thing we need time to recover (which is my fault as well). Let's relax for a day before we decide our next move." Morgana answered, adding his guilt in causing such a disastrous infiltration under his breath.

"Okay. That sounds good." Asuka replied with a nod as she turned to her sister. "Homu-neechan?" She then asked.

"Haru definitely needs to get stronger..." Homura stated in a serious tone. "I might use some of my free time to figure out a way to get her to our level of strength. We can't spend 6 months training her after all." She then added.

"Okay. We'll take the day off. Hopefully, the others will understand." Asuka got out as she turned her attention back on her phone and began typing her response.

[SushiRoll23: We need time to talk to our teammates and discuss recent developments. We'll take tomorrow off and see where we go from there.]

[B3lldonna: If you think that is the best next course of action.]

[B3lladonna: Anyways, it's past my usual bedtime and I'm sure yours as well. We should all get to sleep, everyone.]

[FireGirl20: Agreed. Get plenty of sleep today and tomorrow, Haru. Good night.]

Asuka soon let out a breath and laid down flat on the futon. "This won't be easy without everyone backing us up." She soon mumbled out.

"Yep, but we can't help it." Homura muttered with a shrug as she grabbed her sister's phone and plugged their chargers into them. "All we can do is wait and hope everyone else's plans go off without a hitch." She then stated.

"Yeah." Morgana agreed with a nod. Maybe they won't be blindly charging in like they did (on his suggestion). "Oh yeah, you didn't mention Haru knew your friend from Hanzō Academy." He then remembered.

"Yeah, we should have pieced together her connections with shinobis if we knew she knew Ikaruga-senpai." Homura pointed out. "But that Kumo-chan...what is with that paper bag?" She soon wondered in a curious manner

"Maybe she was just shy at the time." Asuka assumed. "I'm sure if they ever meet again, that she'll be better now." She then added.

"Yeah...people change when you don't see them long enough..." Homura soon reminded. "I wonder how much my friends have changed since I left. The few times we've seen each other since then have just been a tiny sliver of the entire picture. Hell, I still can't believe they want to leave Hebijo." She then got out.

"Me too..." Asuka muttered. "Though my friends didn't seem that different since we saw them at the beach." She then recalled.

"Because they are actually mentally stable...I think." Homura assumed.

"You don't sound that confident, Lady Homura." Morgana noted.

"Katsuragi. Enough said." Homura simply answered.

"Ah, you got a point." Morgana muttered. "She is kinda like a monkey when it comes to chests. She'll be perfect for Ryuji." He jokingly added.

"Monkey? But her Guardian Animal is a Dragon." Asuka pointed out before pausing as she thought about it. "Ooooooh." She soon realized.

"I think you're giving Ryuji too much credit here." Homura got out. "Even if they are compatible, there is no way in hell that would ever happen. He has the grace of a dump truck smashing into a cabbage stand." She then stated.

"Hey, if we can do the impossible like survive getting spaced, I think Ryuji has a shot." Asuka responded.

"I'll only believe when I see it with my own eyes." Homura stated.

"Yep. Ryuji may be a good guy, but he does not have a chance right now." Morgana added. "Now let's stop talking about this. We've been talking too much and if we don't sleep now, you'll be late for school." He then suggested and advised.

"Hai, hai." Homura breathed out as she threw the blanket over their forms.

"Night, Mona-chan." The Vice Leader soon got out as she closed her eyes while her sister wrapped her arms around her.

"Good night." Morgana responded before curling up and closing his eyes.

Hopefully, he won't have that nightmare again.

And he refused to accept that it was a memory.

(Yongen-Jaya, Leblanc Attic)

"Seriously, what's up with Morgana?" Akira sighed out in concern, looking at his phone while hanging upside-down on one of the beams he used for pull-ups above. He had been hanging up there with his legs for quite a long time now, not even looking nauseous or uncomfortable for obvious reasons.

To say the least, it was honestly weird without Morgana nagging him to go to bed at a reasonable time.

Soon, Akira let out a yawn as he dangled his arms down in his current position, phone still in hand making sure not to drop it. "Well, I guess I better-" He then started before...

BZZT! BZZT!

"Hm?" Akira hummed out in a curious manner as he raised the phone to his face. "Murasaki-chan?" He muttered as he looked at the text.

[Cutie_shutin: Good evening Akira-kun.]

[TheWildJ0ker: To you as well.]

[TheWildJ0ker: How's it going? You haven't contacted me in a while.]

[Cutie_shutin: Sorry. I have just been busy since returning home.]

[Cutie_shutin: I actually have been working out more.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Really now.]

[Cutie_shutin: Hai. Though Bebe-tan complained a bit at first calling me an exercise junkie now. ^^"]

[Cutie_shutin: May I show you my progress so far?]

[TheWildJ0ker: Sure. I am a bit curious, Murasaki-chan.]

[Cutie_shutin: Ok! Hold on!]

(...)

[Cutie_shutin: Here.]

The image shown was that of the full body of the purplette, most likely from using the timer to take a picture as she flexed for it while in her work-out clothes.

"...Damn, not bad..." Akira had to admit in an impressed manner, blushing a bit at the girl's extremely attractive work-out clothes that hugged her body and her noticeable toned figure. The massive K-Cup breasts did stand out for the most part, though he tried not to mind. "Haruka had to be involved somehow outfit wise. I just know it." He then stated before he began typing once more.

[TheWildJ0ker: Impressive. I can tell you've been working hard and it shows.]

[Cutie_shutin: Really!? Thanks!]

[TheWildJ0ker: Well, I know I should never insult a lady.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Then again, I would never insult you.]

[Cutie_shutin: 0/0]

[TheWildJ0ker: You ok? That supposed to be an emoji or something?]

[Cutie_shutin: I'm good! Just fine!]

[TheWild0Jker: Ok then.]

[TheWildJ0ker: In case, give it your all Murasaki-chan.]

(...)

[Cutie_shutin: Hai!]

[Cutie_shutin: Ah, I better go. Sorry I kept you up.]

[Cutie_shutin: Good night.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Night. ;) ]

Swiftly dropping off the beam and landing safely on the floor without even looking, Akira soon smiled as he turned off his phone and plugged it into the charger. "Good for Murasaki-chan." He admitted in a proud manner before a yawn escaped his lips. "I guess I better head to sleep." He soon decided as he turned off the light and got into bed...

Fwooosh~

"!?" Only to jolt up as he sensed something from outside. He shot up from his bed and poked his head out the attic window, searching around the nightly buildings for what he just sensed. "That...did not feel like Haruka..." Akira muttered in a serious tone as he glanced back and forth for a moment. He then decided to use his Third Eye, just in case, before scanning around once again with it.

Nothing. Though he did notice some faint tracings on top of a building of what seemed to be...something before it dispersed like smoke.

"Ugh, I need some sleep..." Akira groaned out with a sigh while closing the window.

He didn't need this at the moment.

For now, he simply wanted to sleep.

The coming days were going to be intense...
