Wow man, sorry for the long wait you guys. I was sorting watching some episodes of One Piece over and over again. But thankfully I felt satisfied now, and I'm ready to go back in action. The Fanfic action!

Spell 6: Another Mage

It was the weekend, and business was still slow in Omokagedo. Rinne soon arrived as she entered the antique shop.

"Good morning." Rinne said as she opened and closed the door.

That is when she spotted Mikie lying on the couch as she was groaning and rubbing her stomach.

"Mikie-chan?" Rinne said as she walked to her. "What's wrong?"

Mikie slowly sits up.

"My body...feels like it's going to burst…" Mikie mutters before she groans and falls on the couch again.

Which worried Rinne as she knelt down to her friend and grabbed onto her shoulders.

"It's not Phantom, is it?!" Rinne asked as she shook her shoulders. "Mikie-chan, please! Hang on!"

Koyomi was watching them before she explained what was wrong with Mikie.

"She just over ate."

"Eh?" Rinne said in confusion.

That is when Shido walks to them as he carries a blanket and pillow in his hand.

"Tohka, and the twins sort of force her to join a food eating contest." Shido explained as he placed the pillow to the side of the couch and gave Mikie the blanket. "Here."

"Thank you…" Mikie said as she took the blanket and Shido took a seat on one of the chairs.

"Oh I see that's a relief." Rinne said as she stood up and sat on one of the chairs as well.

Tohka and the Yamai Twins were hiding on the other side of the chairs before they poke their heads out with apologetic looks on their faces.

"I'm sorry, Mikie. I probably shouldn't have forced you to join us." Tohka said in sadness.

"Yeah...I'm sorry too." Kaguya mutters.

"Apologies: There are no words." Yuzuru said.

"It's alright…I probably should've said no thanks…" Mikie said as she rubs on her stomach before she turns to Shido. "But Shido-san, can you please use magic to heal me."

"Sorry. But I don't exactly have spells to heal wounds or cure diseases." Shido told her.

"No way…" Mikie whined. "In my old picture book, it said that in the old days, magic could fix anything!"

Wajima soon entered the room carrying a bottle of medicine and a cup of water on a tray as he offered them to Mikie.

"Here, some stomach medicine. Take it." Wajima kindly offered and Mikie smiled in gratitude as she sat up.

"Thank you." Mikie said as she took the medicine as it was shaking in her hand and took the cup of water and was going to open the bottle but accidently spilled the water on Rinne's clothes which surprised her. "Oh I'm sorry!"

"Don't worry it's fine." Rinne said as she picked up Shido's jacket to wipe the water off of her.

"Hey don't use my coat!" Shido told her as he stood up and took the jacket of her hands.

(Meanwhile)

On top of the roof of a building were Wiseman's top generals, Phoenix and Medusa. Phoenix was lying on the ground as he sighed while looking at his hand as Medusa was looking down at him.

"You're strangely quiet." She said with a smile.

"Not really." Phoenix stated.

"Guess it can't be helped after losing another chance to fight Wizard." Medusa stated.

"Shaddup." Phoenix told her.

Medusa then looks throughout the city but that is when she spotted a man that caught her attention as he walked on a bridge.

It was a 19 year old young man, with brown hair styled in a comb back held by hair gel and has black eyes. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt with an orange vest with furry parts on it. He was wearing blue jeans and black boots. He was also carrying a travel bag on his back and shoulder. Lastly he was wearing a belt buckle that resembles a gate with a keyhole on the center.

This is Nitou Kosuke and he suddenly stops walking as he mutters to himself.

"Oh crap...this is really bad…" Nitou falls face first on the ground.

"That man…" Medusa said as she sensed something from him, and hearing that pique Phoenix's interest as he sat up in excitement.

"A Gate?!" The Immortal Phantom asked.

"Oh, that one is intriguing." Wiseman said as he appeared before his generals as he walked to the edge and looked at Nitou.

"Wiseman-sama." Medusa bowed her head at her master and Phoenix quickly stood up as he bowed his head to him as well.

"I would like to see what is inside him." Wiseman said.

"Then let me…" Medusa said.

"No. I've brought the perfect man for this job." Wiseman said before that 'perfect man' had appeared as he landed on top of the building and walked to them.

It was a Phantom that has an insect's head with large green eyes and has a human's mouth, he also had insect parts around his body and has a golden chestplate and wears bronze colored boots and gauntlets.

This is the Phantom known as Manticore.

"I'm needed already?" Manticore asked as he bowed his head.

The man known as Nitou was still lying on the ground.

"At this rate...I really am going to starve…" He mutters before he stands up with a serious look on his face.

"...But a pinch and a chance are two sides of the same coin." He said as he removed his hood and stood back up. "It's times like this when something good will definitely happen!"

That is when he heard his stomach growling and placed his hand on it.

(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)

(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)

(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)

(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)

(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)

(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)

(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)

(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes were covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)

(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wears his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zooms out further as his friends were standing beside him.)

(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)

(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)

(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)

(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they were setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)

(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)

(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)

(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)

(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)

After a few minutes of resting, Mikie was able to recover from her stomach ache and now she, Shido and Rinne were patrolling the city for Phantoms and Mikie was enjoying a donut from Donut Shop Hungry.

"Delicious!" Mikie said.

"I don't believe you. You were in such pain just now too." Rinne said as she looked at her.

"The medicine worked right away." Mikie said.

After everyone, besides Koyomi, had left the antique shop, Wajima had picked up the medicine he gave to Mikie to put it away but that's when he noticed.

"Huh? This is expired." He said out loud and Koyomi turned around and said.

"Eh?!"

(With Nitou)

Nitou had managed to find a restaurant to have some lunch as he was outside seated on one of the tables, and the waitress had soon arrived with his order which was several grilled hot dogs on sticks.

"Thanks for waiting." She told him as she placed his meal on the table and Nitou was eager to hit them before the waitress was about to offer him a bottle of ketchup and mustard. "Would you like ketchup or mustard?"

But Nitou stops her as he raises his hand, and makes some ticking sounds with his mouth and wags his finger.

He then brought out a plastic bottle from his vest and spun it around before he stopped it from spinning to show it was a bottle of mayonnaise and said 'My personal bottle' in front of it.

"Mayonnaise?" She said as she looked at the bottle.

"Right!" Nitou said with a smile as he opened the bottle and poured the mayonnaise on his hot dogs and after that he clapped his hands. "Itadakimasu!"

He then picks up one of the hotdogs and takes a bite out of it.

"Mmmm, this hits the spot!" Nitou said as he enjoyed the taste.

"Please enjoy yourself." The waitress said and was going to leave.

"Want to have some?" Nitou offered to her but she shook her head. "It's good."

He was going to take a bite out of another hotdog, but that is when the Phantom Manticore appeared with several Ghouls with him as they walked to Nitou.

Seeing them frighten the waitress and other customers as they run away in fear, except for Nitou as he wasn't frightened by their appearance as he calmly sits on his table, as the Ghouls walk in front of him as he turns to them.

Then they were fired upon by silver bullets, sending three Ghouls to the ground with one of them falling on top of Nitou's table and spilling his food on the ground, which was much to his dismay.

Shido soon arrives as he charges at one of the Ghouls and kicks it to the ground, and Shido turns to their target.

"You okay? Go ahead and escape. I'll take care of this." Shido told him as he turned back to the Phantom and Ghouls.

"Huh?!" Nitou said in confusion.

"So you're the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai?" Manticore said which Nitou heard as he looked at Shido.

"Mahōtsukai?!" Nitou said a little surprised to hear that.

Shido was now wearing his Driver and Flame Ring as he flipped its switches.

SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN

"I suppose. Henshin." Shido said as he flipped the goggles on his Ring and scanned it on his Driver.

FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI

Shido soon transforms into Wizard.

"Get him!" Manticore ordered the Ghouls as they ready their spears and moved to Wizard to battle him.

"Saa, showtime-" Wizard started before…

"Wait!" Nitou shouted as runs up to him and grabbed onto the Rider's hand, which surprised Wizard and Ghouls stopped moving.

"Eh?!" Wizard said.

"Don't 'eh' me!" Nitou said as he placed his arm on Wizard's shoulders to force him to turn around away from the Phantom and Ghouls. "How are you going to fix this?!"

"Huh?" Wizard said in confusion.

"Don't play dumb! My meal!" Nitou told the Rider and Wizard saw the hotdogs on the ground and understood what he means now.

"Sorry. I'll make it up to you later." Wizard said as he changed to his gun's Sword Mode. "Get back."

Wizard pushed Nitou aside and charged at Manticore and the Ghouls.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Nitou calls out.

Wizard begins to battle the Ghouls as he parries his attacks with his sword and lands a few good slashes on them.

"Hey! Wait!" Nitou told him as he looked for something in his pockets, but couldn't find it, he then began to look for it in his backpack.

Rinne and Mikie soon arrive as they run to the young man.

"You okay?!" Rinne asked as she and Rinne grabbed hold of his arms. "Quick, we need to run!"

"Eh?" Nitou said in confusion.

"Shido-san!" Mikie calls out.

Wizard was holding a Ghoul on the neck with its own spear as he turned to his friends.

"Take care of him!" Wizard tells them as he kicks the Ghoul he was holding away and dodges one's attack from behind.

"Huh?! But my…" Nitou said as Rinne and Mikie picked him up and ran away. "My meal!"

Wizard was now battling the Ghouls in another spot as he parried their attacks with his sword before he slashed one on the chest. Wizard then grabs one Ghoul on the head and uses him to wall run on a nearby wall and throws that Ghoul to the ground.

As Wizard stands back up he slashes at one Ghoul who blocked his attack with its spear before Wizard charges at another group of Ghouls and slashes on them before slashing one on the chest sending it to the ground.

Manticore soon appeared in front of Wizard before the Magic-theme Rider pointed his sword at the Phantom.

"You're the only one left." Wizard said as he charged at Manticore, and the Phantom laughs in a mocking tone as he dodges a kick from Wizard.

Wizard quickly turns back at Manticore and slashes at him with his sword but the Phantom dodges his attacks before he bumps his back on a pillar and Wizard lands his sword on his sword on Manticore's shoulder as he grabs onto it.

Wizard then spun Manticore around and landed several slashes on the Phantom's chest and finished with a kick sending Manticore rolling on the ground but Manticore was able to stop on his knee and foot and the Phantom brought out over hundreds of cards as they flew and spun around and above his hands.

Wizard changes to his Land Ring and scans it on his Driver.

LAND, PLEASE: DODODO DODODON, DON DODODON

Wizard changes to his Land Style.

Manticore soon throws his cards at Wizard as the latter changes to his Defend Ring and scans the Ring on his Driver.

DEFEND, PLEASE

Wizard summons a stone wall to protect himself from Manticore as they dig into the wall, and after the last of the cards smashed into the wall, Wizard smashes through it to charge at the Phantom.

Manticore stood up on his feet and punches at Wizard and Wizard parries and moves around the Phantom to grab hold from his back as he grabs hold of his neck with his arm, and Manticore attempts to break free by punching at Wizard with his other arm but Wizard catches to grab hold of his arm as well.

"So it's true. You have more mana than before!" Manticore said.

"Sorry, but that's how it is." Wizard said as he made Manticore stand in front of him and Wizard landed a few good kicks on the Phantom and kicked him on the chest sending Manticore rolling on the ground.

Not liking his chances with Wizard, Manticore quickly stood up in an attempt to run away.

"Stop!" Wizard said as he chased the Phantom.

Manticore soon uses this chance to extend his tail and stabs its stinger into Wizard's chest to inject him with a green substance.

Wizard groans as he could feel it spreading to his body before Manticore removes and retracted his tail as Wizard started to feel weak and felt agonizing pain throughout his body.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you to not let your guard down?" The Phantom said in a mocking tone as he turned to Wizard.

As Wizard was groaning his vision began to blur up before he reverted back into Shido as he fell on his hands and knees.

"What is this…?" Shido mutters as he becomes weaker.

"Mages are impressive. You didn't immediately die from my venom." Manticore said.

"Venom...you say?" Shido mutters as his vision gets blurry as everything was spinning in front of him and was seeing double from both the area and Manticore.

"Since we have this opportunity…" Manticore said as he changed to his human form, which was the form of a bald man with a mustache and wears earrings and wears a fortune teller's outfit. He was also shuffling a deck of tarot cards. "...let me divine how much longer you have to live."

Manticore soon brought out a card and it was the death card.

"Grim Reaper...Too bad!" Manticore said as he knelt down to Shido. "It looks hopeless for you! Death!" Manticore stated as he tabs the card on Shido's card and throws it on the ground in front of him.

Manticore stood up to leave but Shido stopped him as he grabbed hold of him.

"Wait…" Shido weakly mutters but Manticore easily knocks his hand off of his body which makes Shido fall on the ground.

Koyomi was watching Shido's battle against Manticore and where he was poisoned by him.

"Shido!" Koyomi said in worry before she rushes to help him.

(Meanwhile)

After getting a good distance away from the Phantom and Shido's battles, Mikie and Rinne had brought Nitou to another part of the city as Nitou sits down on a nearby bench with his backpack in front of him.

"What the hell are you guys doing? Huh?! Everyone keeps interrupting my meal!" Nitou told them.

"Interrupt! You can't eat when you're being attacked, right?" Rinne asked as she sat down beside him.

"Attacked? Me?! When?" Nitou asked in confusion and both Rinne and Mikie were a little confused themselves.

"When…?" Rinne repeated before she explains. "You were just attacked, and then Shido saved you. Right?"

"So that mage is Shido? He didn't save me. He interrupted my meal!" Nitou told her.

"You don't need to get so angry over a meal-" Mikie started which caused Nitou to stand up and yell at her.

"You dumbass! My life's at stake!" Nitou told her.

Manticore is seen walking through a different part of the city devoid of people, that is when Medusa appeared before him as she walked in front of his path.

"Why did you let Wizard live?" Medusa asked as Manticore stopped walking.

"I didn't. The Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai will suffer and die." Manticore told her.

"You're pretty sure of yourself." Said Phoenix as he seated on a metal pole behind Manticore as he jumped down to the ground. "But he's pretty tough."

"Then...You can have him, Phoenix-sama." Manticore said as he walked to the Immortal Phantom. "Even you can defeat him now that the venom has weakened him." He stated as he walked past him.

"What was that?!" Phoenix said both him and Manticore turned at each other, and that is when Manticore brought out the fool card in reverse in front of Phoenix's face.

"I see. The fool." Manticore said as he looked at the card and looked up at Phoenix. "So Phoenix-sama is the type to destroy himself with his rash actions. See?!" Manticore said as he showed the card to Phoenix.

"You bastard!" Phoenix exclaimed as he slapped the card out of Manticore's hand.

"Stop it." Medusa told him as Phoenix turned at his fellow general.

"Now then," Manticore said as he picked up the card. "I've got to find that man who fled and finished my job. All for Wiseman's sake." He said as he took his leave of the two generals.

(Back with Rinne and Mikie)

The girls were able to calm down Nitou when they offered to serve him a meal, and they brought him to Donut Shop Hungry.

They were seated on the same table as Nitou had an eager look on his face, and the Manager soon brought them their order.

"Thanks for waiting! Here's the newest recipe: Summer Strawberry Crullers." She told them as she placed the donuts on their table.

"They look delicious!" Nitou said as he looked at the donuts.

"Please enjoy yourself." The Manager told them as she and Ryu left.

"Can I really eat this?" Nitou asked.

"Of course. It's our treat after all." Rinne told him.

"She's right. Please enjoy yourself." Mikie told him.

"Cute and generous! You girls are the best!" Nitou said.

Nitou then brought out his bottle of mayonnaise and soon poured it on one of the donuts much to the girls' surprise before he picked it up and ate much to their disgust.

"Mmm, delicious." Nitou said as he enjoyed the flavor. "Want some?"

"No…" Mikie told him as Nitou poured mayonnaise on another donut.

"Don't hold back. Eat." He told them much to their surprise again. "Bring more."

"Sure thing." The Manager said and then she and Ryu were going to get their next set of donuts.

"Oh no, we don't really need anymore." Rinne told them as she wanted to avoid having donuts with mayonnaise on them.

The Manager and Ryu brought them another plate of donuts as she placed them on their table, but soon noticed the mayonnaise on the other ones.

"What are you doing? Don't put weird stuff on my doughnuts!" The Manager told the young man.

"It's not weird stuff! It's mayonnaise." Nitou said as he picked up and showed them his bottle, and it had the kanji of 'Itadakimasu'.

"That's weird! It's obviously weird!" The Manager told him and Nitou frowned to hear that.

"What's wrong?!" Nitou said as he stood up and raised his bottle up in the air as the sun's light reflected on it, which was strong enough to make the others cover their eyes. "Mayonnaise is the greatest food in the world! Try it!" He said as he showed off of his half eaten donut.

But the Manager feels offended by this as she grabs hold of Mikie's ear and drags her away from the table.

"Itai itai itai itai!" Mikie said as Rinne followed them as they stopped a few feet away from Nitou and Ryu.

"Just who is he?!" The Manager asked the two girls.

"We're not sure ourselves!" Mikie told her.

"What is he doing to my doughnuts?!" The Manager asked as she tightly placed her arms around Mikie.

"We're sorry, manager, I'm sure he didn't mean any offense." Rinne told her.

Ryu being a little curious picks up the donut that Nitou poured mayonnaise on and took a bite out of it and was surprised on how it's actually good.

"Delicious!" Ryu shouted before he ran to his boss and got her attention and brought the mayonnaise covered donut to her. "This is really good."

The Manager raised an eyebrow before she took a bite out of it and her eyes widened in shock on how good it was with the mayonnaise as she took it out of his hands to enjoy its flavor.

"It is...This might work!" She said as this gave her an idea for a new donut.

"Really?" Mikie asked, a little surprised.

"Here, Mikie-chan, try it too!" The Manager said as she fed Mikie the donut and she found it really good as well.

"Wow! You're right!" Mikie said.

Nitou stops eating as he put his bottle down as he wasn't satisfied by this.

"Looks like I am going to starve…" Nitou mutters in disappointment and Rinne notices as she turns to him.

"Eh?" Rinne said.

Nitou stood up and picked up his bag and another donut to take his leave.

"Thanks for the meal." Nitou told them as he walked away.

"Hey! Wait a moment!" Rinne calls out as she follows him, but stops as he hears her phone ringing and soon brings it out and answers who was calling her. "Tohka? What's wrong? Eh? Shido was…!"

Shido is seen resting on a bed as he begins to wake up.

"Everyone! He's waking up!" Tohka calls out.

"Shido!/Shido-san!"

Shido looked around and saw his friends beside him, and he was in the Fraxinus' sick bay, as Reine and Kotori were with them as well, as Reine was seated on a computer as she does a scan on Shido's body and Kotori was standing beside her as they look at him as well.

"W-Where am I…?" Shido mutters as his vision was still a little blurry.

"You're on the Fraxinus." Koyomi told her.

"You fainted from the poison." Reine told him.

"Relief: We were really worried about you." Yuzuru said.

Shido then struggles to sit up.

"I let my guard down…" Shido mutters as he is about to get off the bed before Tohka stops him by grabbing onto his shoulders.

"Shido, no. I know you're worried about the Gate, but you need to rest." Tohka told him as she gently made him lie back down.

"Fine…" Shido mutters before he turns to Rinne. "Speaking of the Gate, where is he?"

"Sorry, I lost sight of him when Tohka called." Rinne told him.

"I'm having Garu-chan and the others look for him." Koyomi told him as she brought out and looked at her crystal ball.

"And I'm having the crew search for him as well. Don't worry, we'll find him." Kotori told him.

"I see." Shido sighed in relief.

"Honestly, that's what you get for being so reckless." Kotori scolded him.

"S-Sorry…" Shido told her before he went to sleep.

Kotori sighed before she turned to Reine.

"Well anyway, Reine how is he?" Kotori asked.

"Not good." Reine said as she looked at a scan of Shido's body on her computer. "This virus is like nothing I've ever seen before. Even Shin's regeneration abilities are having trouble against it."

"That sounds bad…" Kaguya said in worry.

"I-Is there anything we can do to help him?" Yoshino asked.

"For now, all we can do is wait and let Shin rest." Reine told him as the others looked at Shido in worry.

(Meanwhile)

Nitou was walking throughout the city while still eating the donut from the Donut Shop as he was looking for his next meal.

"I'd better find something to satiate my hunger quickly." Nitou said as he finished his donut, and that is when someone called out to him.

"Hey you, stop right there!" Nitou turns to the side and sees Manticore in human form walking out of his hiding spot as he looks at the young man.

Manticore then brought Nitou under a bridge as they were seated on the table, as the Phantom told him he wanted to read his fortune for free. Manticore was shuffling his tarot cards on the table.

"Sorry for bothering you with a free fortune-telling." Nitou told him.

"I couldn't help but worry about you." Manticore told him as he drew and placed the Magician card on the table. "What's this…"

"Don't say it." Nitou stops him as he raises his hand in front of the Phantom as the latter raises his head as Nitou picks up the card and looks at it. "It's swirling around in me...but it's whittling away at my life. That's what you want to say, right?"

"Uhh…" Manticore nodded. "I'm amazed you knew. Furthermore...It suggests that it may be hopeless." He told him as he drew out and placed more cards on the table.

"I knew it! Just as expected from a fortune-teller. Guess you know everything." Nitou stated.

"But apparently…" Manticore said as he stood up and looked closely at Nitou. "You haven't given in to despair. Something is supporting your heart, I suppose?"

"Something supporting my heart?" Nitou repeated in confusion.

"Yeah. Would you mind telling me what that would be?" Manticore asked which confused Nitou.

That is when Garuda arrived as it looked at them.

At the same time, Garuda's vision appeared in Koyomi's crystal ball.

"Found him." Koyomi said as Yoshino and Yoshinon looked at it as well.

"That's a relief." Yoshino said.

"Everyone look!" Yoshinon calls out as others look at the crystal ball.

"Thank goodness. He seems safe." Rinne said.

"What is that guy doing?" Tohka asked as she looked at Manticore.

Shido opens his eyes and looks at the crystal ball and sees and recognizes Manticore's human form.

"That's bad. That man is the Phantom!" Shido said which surprised his friends.

Shido then stood up and was going to run out of the room but fell on one hand and knee as the effects of Manticore's poison was still in effect.

"Shido!" Tohka said as she and Koyomi knelt down to him.

"Don't push yourself!" Koyomi told him.

"I won't heal if I just stay here. So...I've got to make my move now." Shido told them.

"But…" Koyomi said in worry.

"The only one who can defeat the Phantoms...is me." Shido told them, and they were silent as they knew he was right.

Shido stood back up and picked up his jacket as he left the room.

"Wait!" Rinne said as she and Tohka followed him.

"I'm going too." Mikie said as she followed them.

"U-Us too!" Yoshino said as she and the Twins followed them as well.

"Shido…" Koyomi mutters in worry as Kotori rubs the side of her head.

"I swear that brother of mine." Kotori grumbles before she turns to Reine. "Reine, tell the crew to get the transporter ready."

"I'm already ahead of you." Reine said as she contacted the rest of the crew.

Nitou had his back turned to the disguised Phantom as he thought about his question before he turned to him with a smile on his face.

"Basically, a pinch is a chance. Get it?" Nitou said as he walked up to Manticore which made the Phantom back away and sat down on his chair.

"Yeah…" Manticore nodded.

Nitou turns away from him as he folds his arms.

"When driven into a corner, you think of new ideas. When you are down, you can see your surroundings better." Nitou said as he walked around before he turned back to the Phantom in disguise.

"Your job is to tell people's fortunes…so I think your advice could be more positive" Nitou said as he placed his hand on Manticore's shoulder and took his tarot cards out of his hands and placed them on the table.

"I suppose...I will consider it." Manticore said before he turned to the young man. "So…"

"So?" Nitou repeated.

"What I want to know is what is supporting your heart." Manticore demanded to know but Nitou only showed him a grin as he grabbed onto his hands..

"You...really are a good guy!" Nitou told him which confuses Manticore.

"Huh?" The Phantom said in confusion.

"You're working so hard for a drifter like me!" Nitou said in gratitude.

"I've got my reasons…" Manticore mutters.

"Eh?" Nitou said in confusion.

"Nothing." Manticore said as he turned away from him.

"But I'm fine for now." Nitou assured him which surprised Manticore as he turned to him.

"What?"

"I just told you. A pinch is a chance. For me, despair is hope." Nitou said as he walked a few feet forward and laughed.

But hearing that only angered Manticore as he stood up.

"That cannot be!" Manticore shouted and Nitou flinched as he turned to him. Then the Phantom walks to Nitou. "Let me take a deeper look into your heart."

But Nitou was only confused to hear that.

"Stop!" Both Nitou and Manticore turned and saw that Shido and his friends had arrived as both Mikie and Tohka helped him walk and stand with his arms on their shoulders. "That's an invasion of privacy."

"You! The one from before-" Nitou said as he was about to walk to Shido.

"Phantom-san." Shido said which stopped Nitou.

Shido then removed his arms off of his friends' shoulders as he stood on his own feet and faced the Phantom in human form.

"How about showing your true form?" Shido asked.

"Eh?!" Nitou said before he turned to Manticore. "Phantom?!"

Manticore then grabs Nitou on the neck in a tight and strong grip as he struggles to break free.

"You're still alive, Wizard?!" Manticore said as he changed into his true form. "Will you stop getting in my way?"

Despite seeing the Phantom transforming, Nitou could only smile and cheer.

"A pinch really is a chance!" Nitou said in happiness which confused everyone around him and even the Phantom who held him by the neck.

"Eh?!" Manticore said in confusion as he turned to Nitou.

"Eh?" Shido's friends said in confusion as well.

Shido then fired at the Phantom with his gun, forcing Manticore to release Nitou as he fell to the ground as Shido walked to the Phantom.

Manticore punches at Shido and he dodges his attack and blocks a kick from the Phantom and Shido kicks Manticore away.

"You okay?" Shido asked.

"Why do you always appear at the good part-" Nitou said as he stood up and stood beside Shido.

"Because I'm a mage." Shido told him.

"I already know that!" Nitou said as he moved to his other side. "But that's no reason for you to interrupt my meals!"

"Huh?!" Shido said as he turned to him. "I already apologized for interrupting your meal!"

Shido then walks forward and flips the switches of his Driver.

"We're still talking!" Nitou told him as Shido put on his Flame Ring.

"Henshin." Shido said as he flips the goggles down.

"Don't ignore me!" Nitou told him.

Shido scans the Ring on his Driver to transform but…

ERROR

Hearing that worried his friends, while Manticore was pleased to hear that as he stood up on his knee and foot. Shido grunted as he looked at his Ring and hand.

"The poison's depleted my mana!" Shido said in dread.

Manticore chuckles as he stands up and charges at Shido, and the latter soon sees the Phantom coming at him and Nitou.

"Move!" Shido said as he pushed Nitou away and Manticore attacked him and Shido dodged his attacks and kicked at the Phantom.

As Nitou watches he soon begins to look for something in his pockets.

Manticore soon begins to overpower Shido as he lands a few good hits on the Ringed Mage and kicks him on the chest which sends Shido to the ground.

"Shido!" His friends said in worry as they rushed to help as Rinne and Tohka knelt down to his sides.

"Of course you can't fight in your poisoned state!" Manticore stated as several Ghouls appeared as they walked in front of their Phantom master and faced Shido's group as Shido sat up.

Tohka, Yoshino, and the Yamai Twins were about to change into their limited Astral Dresses and bring forth their Angels to fight them but…

"There it is!" Everyone turns to Nitou as he brings out the things he was looking for.

Nitou had brought out two Rings that looked similar to Shido's. One was in a diamond shape and was colored in black, one has a silver gate in the front while the other was shaped like a square that resembles a golden lion's face with large green eyes.

Shido was surprised to see those Rings before Nitou put the silver gate Ring on his right hand and scans the ring on his belt buckle.

DRIVER ON

His belt buckle changed into the form of a driver.

The driver was colored black with a silver gate in the front and has two slots for his Rings on the sides.

Seeing that surprised Shido and his friends.

"He's…" Shido said.

Nitou then puts the golden ring on his left hand and raises the ring up in the air.

"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou shouted as he waved his arms around in front of his body and brought to his right side as he leaned on his right leg.

Nitou then inserted the gold Ring on the left slot of his Driver which made a drum roll sound.

SET!

With a twist of his right Ring the Driver's gate opens up to reveal golden pictures of animals behind it and under the gate panels. On the right was a dolphin and a falcon, on the left was a buffalo and a chameleon, and the center was a lion with its mouth open like it was roaring.

O~OPEN

L-I-O-N: LION

A golden magic circle appeared from his Driver and in front of Nitou, it resembles the shape of an octagon and has the same face as his left ring on the center of it.

Then the magic circle went through Nitou's body changing him into an armor figure.

He was now wearing a black bodysuit along with gold armor pieces. The shins and forearms were donned with this armor along with his knees and was wearing white gloves, with strong abdominal muscle outlines on the front. The chest plate was black on the right side, but gold styled after a lion's mane with the head of said lion existing on his left shoulder. The left side of the belt held a golden chain and adorned with several diamond-shaped black metal rings made in an assortment of different colors and pictures of a different animal. Finally the helmet was styled after a lion's head colored gold around the face with large compound eyes and a silver mouth plate made to look like a beast's mouth.

"The name's Nitou Kousuke. I'm the mage known as Kamen Rider Beast!" The now transformed Beast introduced himself much to the shock of everyone around him.

"A mage…" Mikie mutters in shock.

"A Kamen Rider…" Yoshino and Yoshinon mutter in shock as well.

"So he wasn't a Gate?" Tohka said.

"Seems like it…" Rinne said.

Even though he was in another part of the city away from Manticore and his target, he could see Beast and sense the magical power within him.

"So he's a primordial mage…" The White Phantom said in a curious tone in his voice.

"The magician card! So that's what it meant!" Manticore said in realization.

Beast hummed as he clapped his hands together.

"It's feeding time!" Beast declared as he charged at the Phantom and Ghouls.

The Ghouls charge at Beast to attack him and Beast kicks one of them and parries another's attack as he grabs onto its spear and back kicks one that was charging behind him.

Beast then throws the Ghoul he was holding away and stood on his hands to kick one Ghoul that was going to attack him from behind. As Beast lands on his feet, he kicks on two Ghouls that were going to attack him from both of his sides.

Beast then parries another Ghoul's attack and grabs hold of that Ghoul and throws it to the ground and grabs it on the neck to slam its head on the ground.

Beast then jumps over some of the Ghouls and lands on top of two of them sending them to the ground.

As Beast stood up he saw the other Ghouls had surrounded him.

Beast then pulled out a weapon from his Driver.

It was a sword with a silver blade and a golden tip and has a black handle with golden parts, and on top of the hilt was a dice-dot with a golden lion with its jaw drop on the the side with a ring slot in it, and on the other side was a wheel with a golden symbol of his face on it.

This is the Dice Saber.

One Ghoul thrust its spear at Beast and he parried it with his sword and slashed it on the chest, and slashed on two more Ghouls in front of and behind him.

Beast then charges to slashed at every Ghoul in front of him while parrying their attacks at the same time.

"It's all-you-can-eat today!" Beast said as he slashes on the last of the Ghouls and grabs hold of his belt.

The Ghouls exploded and what remained of them changed into magic circles as they into his Driver and by the sound of it was eating the circles as it made a gulp sound as they went in one at a time.

"He's...devouring the Ghouls' mana!" Shido said as he was stunned to see this.

As the last magic circle was eaten by his Driver, Beast huffed as all that was left was Manticore as he growled at him.

"Alright! I'm eating you next!" Beast stated as he took off his right ring and pulled out one of the rings on his chain holder.

It had a picture of a green colored chameleon with a golden eye as he put it on his right hand.

Beast then inserted the ring on the right slot of his Driver.

CHAMELEO

His Driver was making some rock music with a mix of the chameleon's cry as the forehead on the lion plate lights up green.

GO: CHA-CHA-CHA-CHA CHAMELEO

Beast raised his right arm forward as a green magic circle appeared in front of it as it went through his arm and a green mantle with a green chameleon head appeared on his right shoulder. The cape also had golden markings on the side and the chameleon's head as golden eyes and a gold tongue sticking out of its mouth.

This is Chameleo Mantle.

Manticore soon brings out his sword and charges at Beast to attack him and Beast charges at the Phantom as well. Beast parried Manticore's attack and slashes on his chest, and dodges Manticore's next slash by ducking under it, and as Manticore charges at Beast to attack Beast dodges it jumping over the Phantom's sword.

Manticore quickly turns around to attack Beast and Beast dodges it by jumping backwards, and Manticore turns around to attack Beast once again but Beast was able to land a slash on the Phantom first and lands back flip kick on Manticore forcing him to stumble back and as Beast lands on his feet he kicks on Manticore forcing him to stumble back once again.

Manticore charges at Beast to slash him with his sword and Beast dodges it by jumping over his sword, and as Beast lands back on the ground he slashes on the Phantom sending Manticore rolling on the ground.

As Manticore stops rolling and stands back up, Beast channels energy into his Chameleo Ring and a magic circle appears in front of him and goes through his body turning him invisible.

Manticore was surprised as he looked at the area around him.

"He disappeared!" Manticore said in shock but kept his guard.

The invisible Beast lands a slash on Manticore's back and Manticore slashes around himself but Beast was able to avoid his attacks thanks to his invisibility.

"Where are you? Where?!" Manticore shouted before Beast lands a slash on him which sends him to the ground.

Manticore quickly stood back up as he slashed in front of him and Beast parried it as he moved in front of the Phantom, and then Beast jumped up in the air and landed an overhead slash on Manticore which sent him to the ground.

Manticore stood up to slashed at the invisible Beast in front of him but Beast lands several stabs in front of the Phantom's body before his final stab sends Manticore to the ground and Beast becomes visible again.

"Just let me eat you." Beast told him as he rested his Saber on his shoulder.

Manticore growls as he stands back up and extends his tail to attack Beast with it, and Beast dodges it by rolling on the ground and dodges his next tail attack by rolling again.

"Be careful! His tail is venomous!" Shido said as he stood back up.

"Huh?! Venom?!" Beast said as he turned at Shido and exposed his back to Manticore as he stood up before Beast waved his hand in front of him. "That's nothing!"

Manticore uses that chance to stab his tail into Beast's back to inject his venom into the golden Rider's body.

"I told you to be careful!" Shido shouted before he fell on his hands and knees and his friends knelt down to him.

Beast was groaning as he could the effects of Manticore's venom.

"You will suffer just like him!" Manticore told the poisoned Beast.

But despite being poisoned by the Phantom's venom, Beast was able to fight through it.

"This ain't nothing!" Beast said as he changed to a different Ring. It had a picture of a purple dolphin.

Beast soon inserted the Ring into his Driver's slot.

DOLPHI

The Driver made music with a dolphin's squeaks and a purple light appeared on it as well.

GO: DO-DO-DO-DO DOLPHI

As Beast raised his right arm forward, a purple magic circle appeared in front of it and went through to change into a new mantle.

It was colored purple with a dolphin's head with a golden jaw and markings on the front of the mantle.

Beast looks at the poisoned Shido and understands what happened to him.

"I see. So you've also been poisoned? Oh well. Take some too." Beast said as he channels energy to his Dolphi Ring and a magic circle appears in front of him as he swings his arm and Ring through it which created blue sparkles on his Mantle as it spreads through his and some of it flew towards Shido and entered his body.

(Cue: BEASTBITE by Rider Chips)

Both Shido and Beast glowed blue and as it died down, Shido felt that the venom was gone as his body felt better.

"The poison's gone." Shido said which surprised his friends.

"Wow? Really?" Tohka said in relief.

The now cured Beast showed off his Dolphi Ring.

"It's a healing spell. Curing my rival, I'm such a good guy!" Beast said as he folded his arms.

"My venom has no effect?!" Manticore said in both shock and denial as he looked at his hands and looked at Beast.

Beast then turns back to the Phantom.

"Looks like it." Beast said as Manticore growls at him.

"Guess I'll use this for the finisher." Beast said as he changed to a different Ring. It had an orange picture of a falcon.

Beast soon inserted the Ring into the slot of his Driver, which made music along with a falcon squawking as it flapped its wings and made an orange light.

FALCO, GO: FA-FA-FA FALCO

Beast raised his right arm forward as an orange magic circle appeared in front of it and went through it as he wore a new Mantle.

It was orange with the head of a falcon, the head had a golden beak and eyes and the mantle had pointed edges on the bottom of it.

Beast readies his sword as Manticore backs away in fear.

Beast soon jumps at the Phantom and slashes at him, Manticore was able to block it with his sword, but Beast strikes with his knee and kicks at Manticore two times with his other leg, followed with two slashes on his chest and Beast stabs on Manticore's chest which sends him to the ground.

Beast then throws his Saber to his other hand.

"Now for the main dish!" Beast said as he kisses on his Falco Ring.

Beast then spun the wheel on his Saber to spin the dice part of his weapon which revealed more dice-dots that counted up to one to six, and inserted his Falco Ring into the Saber's Ring slot which stops the dice part as it landed on a six.

SIX: FALCO SABER STRIKE

Beast soon made a magic circle in front of him with his Saber and slashes on it.

"Gao!" Beast shouted as the magic circle created six more circles and coming out of it were six energy falcons which had golden bodies and orange heads.

The energy falcons flew at Manticore as they exploded upon impact on the Phantom's body, which finished Manticore as he fell backward and exploded leaving only a magic circle behind before it was soon swallowed by Beast's Driver.

Beast sighed in relief and clapped his hands.

"Thanks for the meal!" Beast said and was about to leave.

"Hey, you." Shido calls out as Beast stops and turns to him as Shido was now standing and was walking to him. "You eat Phantoms' mana?"

"I'm sure you do too." Beast stated as he walked to Shido.

"Huh?" Shido said in confusion.

"Don't play dumb. It's pretty sad if you try to lie to your rival." Beast stated as he placed his arm on Shido's shoulder and wags his finger in front of his face.

"Rival? No, I'm-" Shido said as he was about to explain.

"No, no need to say it in front of everyone." Beast told him as he removed his arm as Shido's friends walked to them and as Beast walked around Shido. "I know how you feel. Under your cool expression, I'm sure you're in an uproar. You're worried that my appearance means I'm moving in on your turf."

"No...I don't think that at-" Shido said before Beast stopped him as he turned in front of him.

"But I found the Phantom first this time! So it's only natural that I get to eat him." Beast stated as he turned around.

"Oh…" Shido mutters.

"Ummm...Yuzuru, do you understand what's going on here?" Kaguya whispers to her sister and Yuzuru shakes her head.

"Reply: I'm not sure myself." Yuzuru answered as Beast walked away.

"I got to eat today, so it's fine...but I'll show no mercy the next time you try to take my meal! Got it?!" Beast asked as he turned back at Shido before he spun around which made a gust of wind that forced Shido and the others to cover their eyes before they soon saw Beast flying away.

"What was…" Mikie started.

"...that mage?" Rinne asked.

"I have no idea." Shido said as he was just as confused as his friends are.

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)

(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)

(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)

(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)

(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)

(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)

(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)

(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that makes it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)

(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)

(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
